It’s very old, so it’s understandable that not everything is going to be in the best condition. The rooms were good and clean and the bed was comfy, but an area of improvement would be the dining experience. A few days, the mugs the coffee was served in were dirty and had floating debris in there, the forks had visible rust, we had ants in the jelly on the table, and the creamer was curdled. The food itself was delightful, but the lack of cleanliness made it hard to truly enjoy it because I always had to double check that the serve ware was clean and that the ants didn’t crawl into the food. The location of the property is idyllic. I’m glad we had this experience but I am not sure I would be back."

Location
Situated off exit 2, It has a great location as it is convenient not only the Sagamore bridge for a quick exit, but to the center of Sandwich, as well as Hyannis. 5 minutes from a large grocery store, and numerous restaurants serving local fare. You have the lovely fresh water Spectacle Pond at the end of my road with public access, as well as a 10 minute drive to East Sandwich Beach and Town Neck Beach. The property is less than 20 minutes from the Hyannis, as well as 20 minutes from the Sagamore Bridge.

This is a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom house with about 1900 square feet of living space. Both bedrooms are very large with plenty of closet space. The open floor plan on the main floor plan encompasses a very large living room with a sleepable couch and an up-to-date kitchen.

Beautiful 4 bedroom house overlooking the great marsh with wonderful views of the Sandwich Boardwalk. It has been renovated but retains the character and charm of yesteryear. Kitchen opens to family and dining rooms. Upstairs the spacious great room is ideal to relax/look at the beautiful marsh and ocean beyond. Four bedrooms have 7 beds. In addition, there is a sofa bed and a blow up queen mattress. There is a large deck and a balcony on the second floor that looks out on to the Marsh and the ocean in the distance. The first floor bathroom was recently renovated and a sun room has been added. The kitchen is well appointed with much of what you will need to cook any meal.
A cozy studio cottage sits on the edge of the property, ideal for in-laws or a couple, it is open from May through October and includes an additional bedroom, bathroom and outdoor shower. 10 minute walk into town with close proximity to restaurants, beaches and Sandwich Marina.
There are 3 kayaks, 2 bikes, boogie boards, noodles, coolers, beach chairs, fishing poles and much more for your use.

Located in the heart of historic downtown Sandwich, Upstairs on Main is the perfect place to stay for a vacation in the quaint seaside town of Sandwich. The one bedroom studio is located on the second floor of a historic building which once was the town post office. It's been newly renovated and is walking distance to several restaurants, shops, historic landmarks and a 2 minute drive to the famous boardwalk beach. The studio has a queen bed, 1 bathroom and full kitchen.

The downstairs unit we stayed in last time was set up as a small one-bedroom, the upstairs unit this time organizes the same footprint as a studio, with a larger kitchen in the space where the other has its bedroom. We preferred the first layout, but this one was fine too. Neither unit is beach-and-recreation oriented in the way other Sandwich places we've rented have been - so no beach towels, beach chairs, outdoor grilling facilities and the like are provided, nor are in-building laundry facilities. But as a base-camp for visiting Sandwich when one either doesn't require those enhancements, or has other avenues to access them (family living in Sandwich, in our case), this place can be perfect. Both units are decorated to a fare-the-well (and may have cornered the market on decorative pillows). And they are generously supplied with high quality amenities (like luxury towels) and cooking supplies. The hosts are solicitous and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely rent here again."

We fell in love with this house and town from the very first time we set foot in it. The house was completely rebuilt and renovated in 2017 and we've added a few more touches to make it a perfect beachside getaway. The windows and skylights make this house so sunny and cheerful. You can see a peek of the Scusset Beach light tower from the back windows. The neighborhood is fun and safe to walk around, jog to the beach, or just sit out at the front patio. This is our favorite place in the world and we hope you will enjoy it too!

Located in the desirable seaside village of Town Neck, come unwind in this renovated architectural style home. First floor offers a gorgeous kitchen with a huge island for all to gather around. Open to the dining area featuring a fabulous, unique dining table with plenty of seating for everyone! On this level you will find Bedroom 1 with a queen bed and Bedroom 2 with two full size beds. Both bedrooms offer plenty of storage and fun, bright decor. The full bathroom with a stall shower is conveniently located just outside the bedrooms on the first floor.

Off of the dining room is the backyard entrance leading you to the cozy backyard with a picnic table and gas grill. Another great feature is the private enclosed outdoor shower.

Head upstairs to the second floor where you will find a fabulous gathering spot. The great room offers a large Smart TV, gas fireplace and comfy furniture with a full size pullout couch. Just around the corner is a fun arts and crafts nook for all, not just for the kids, with peek-a-boo views of Cape Cod Bay. This house comes equipped with Central A/C and washer/dryer in the basement.

Congrats you found it! The home everyone is looking for... Plenty of space, multiple sleeping spaces, private heated pool... welcome to 4 Firefly Lane! Featuring 5 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths (plus an amazing outdoor shower) the home can sleep up to 13 people in beds.
As you approach the home, a large gracious driveway, expansive front lawn and an oversized covered front porch greet you. The main floor of the home has the updated kitchen, dining area and a living room w/ sectional couch and a smart TV. Also on the main floor you will find a half bathroom, sunroom with additional seating and a den w/ a pull out sofa sleeper and smart TV. The second floor has three bedrooms. There are two guest rooms (one w/ a queen bed and one w/ 2 queen beds) that share a hallway guest bath with a glass enclosed shower. The primary bedroom has a king bed, a balcony overlooking the pool and an ensuite full bathroom with a glass enclosed shower.
Now for something really cool... the home has its own Bunk House w/ 2 more additional bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has 3 singles beds. Please note: the Bunk House does not have a bathroom and there is no door separating the two bedrooms.
Saving the best for last, there is a heated pool in the backyard with multiple seating and lounging areas and a great outdoor shower. The decks of the main home have sun awnings, additional dining and seating areas and a gas grill. The pool is professionally maintained weekly for tenants. Tons of lawn space features plenty of room for games.
The main home has ductless AC on the first floor and window AC units in the second floor bedrooms. The Bunk House has a wall mounted ductless AC unit in the bedroom w/ 3 singles. Sat. to Sat 7 night minimum rentals during the peak season. 4 night stays at a reduced rate are available in the shoulder seasons. No pets, please. All linens and towels included. All Robert Paul Vacation Rental bookings include a non-refundable $250 fee that includes administrative fee and damage waiver insurance for self-reported incidental damage up to $1,000.00. Charming, private downstairs studio in historic Sandwich Massachusetts. This is a great space for you and your furry friend! Our place is centrally located 16 miles to Falmouth, 12 miles to Hyannis, 5 miles to shopping at Mashpee Commons, 6-9 miles to local beaches, 2-3 miles to groceries,restaurants and gas, 8 miles to the Sagamore Bridge, and 15 minutes to the Bourne Bridge.

The space
You will have a private entrance accessed through the backyard. You will have to step up 3 stone steps with a railing to get into the backyard, You’ll also have to access a flight of stairs to get in and out of the unit. Your suite is accommodated with a kitchenette including microwave and full-sized refrigerator (no stove). You will have access to an electric burner. You will have a queen size bed along with a large sectional couch. A unique sliding barn door gives the ability to separate the kitchen and living areas. The coffee bar area is equipped with a Keurig coffee maker which includes k-cups, nondairy creamers and sugar options. There is also an electric tea kettle.

Our space is most comfortable for up to 3 people.

You will have access to a shared fenced in backyard which will allow freedom for your pup to roam. We ask for you to keep your dog out of the fish pond. As much as we know our doggies love the water the fish do not enjoy the company. Your dog must be people and dog friendly as there are 2 dogs upstairs. You will have access to your own grill, fire pit, and sitting area next to a relaxing fish pond and waterfall.

We also offer a twin or queen size blowup mattress upon request.

May 1-June 15 there will be a construction crew replacing the outdoor sidewalls. They will be working from approximately 8-4pm removing and replacing the cedar shingles on the outside of the house. The rates have been deeply discounted during this period for this inconvenience.

Our private guest studio is attached to our house by a screened breezeway with a private entrance. The studio is right off Route 6A and a little less than a mile to the boardwalk at Town Neck Beach and shopping/restaurants. You'll have access to a grill and covered picnic area in the yard. The studio has a shower bathroom, AC, Wifi, Cable TV, and full kitchenette.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located space. Walking distance to several downtown shops and restaurants, and only one mile from the beach, this loft boasts skylights, cedar hot tub and sauna, outdoor shower and full kitchen. If you are traveling through Sandwich, this loft is a must-see.

We recommend this space for two people. While you can technically fit 4, it is quite crowded.

Beautiful, cozy home in a quiet neighborhood of South Sandwich with plenty of space to host one large or two small families. The home sleeps 8 comfortably. The main floor includes two bedrooms (bedroom 1 has a queen bed and bedroom 2 has a twin over full bunk bed as well as a separate twin bed), a full bath, a large living room with fireplace and smart tv, an eat-in kitchen, and a bonus 3 seasons room. The full-access lower level offers a family room with smart tv, 1 half bath, and a bonus sleeping area with three beds (1 full bed and 2 twin beds).

The serene, wooded backyard includes eight outdoor chairs, a fire pit, and a gas grill. Plenty of space and shade to cool down after a long day spent at the beach.

The home belongs to the Lawrence Pond Association with deeded rights to a sparkling pond private beach, boat launch, playground, picnic tables, and tennis court. The pond is suitable for swimming, fishing, and of course a stone skipping contest! Upon arrival, guests can purchase a pass to these areas for $25/week.

The Village is the center of the original & oldest township settlement on Cape Cod (1637) incorporated in 1639. Our quaint Historic Cape Cod Cottage is a mix of vintage charm and quiet comfort. The home was originally built in 1718 and so gives you the feeling of Old Cape Cod.

The house, tho smaller, lives quite large. The dining room and living room are open to one another so the space feels very big with plenty of seating and a working fireplace. It is a post and beam structure so the old wood beams and ceilings gives one that feel of true Old New England, tho light soothing wall colors also gives a lightness overall. We have new living room furniture this year as well as a 42 inch TV with voice commannd Cable and WiFi.

The quaint vintage kitchen is separate off dining room, but full of charm and also a coffee bar. We have a Keurig, an electric tea kettle, and a traditional coffee pot as well as a French Press and provide some tea and keurig pod and traditional coffee selections.

There is a full size washer and dryer in the kitchen and our vintage fridge, tho a true old piece, works wonderfully. There is also a dishwasher.

The Cottage is set in it's own yard and the neighbors are not visible as we sit in a sort of island between them. Tho one neighbor is the Sagamore Inn, which is a wonderful place to eat indoors or enjoy their stunning outdoor garden space with firepit and lovely pond. An easy walk through the garden to get to them.

The yard does have 2 outbuildings that might look like neighbors are overlooking, but in fact we own both of those buildings and they are empty. And we like to think make a pretty good 'privacy screen'.

There is a comfortable terrace off the back door from the kitchen in the back garden. It has a brand new full size propane grill as well as new outdoor seating both for dining and lounging. There is a new wonderful firepit too, good to enjoy on an evening after a day at the beaches.

Inside the dining room is large enough to seat 6 comfortably and as with the living room, has the old world charm of Post and Beam.

One of the three bedrooms is on the first or ground floor. It is reached from the dining room and has a very comfy Full (double) bed. new mattress and bedframe this year as well as new coat of paint. Two of the walls were once the outside of the cottage so the quaint old cedar shakes (now painted a soothing soft green) give this room a tranquil old New England feel. There is a black out curtain on the window if one likes to sleep in of a morning. The 2 bedside tables (also new) each have 2 usb and 2 Traditional outlets on them so you can plug in your devices without hunting for outlets.

Upstairs off the small hallway are the other 2 bedrooms. One is the blue room and I think of it like a 'tree house' room as it has the sloped roof ceiling and 2 brand new (vintage look) bunk beds. Both new mattress with nice memory foam toppers. Each bedside table has it's own USB hubs and outlets to plug in your devices without hunting for outlets.There is a window AC unit as well for cooling or use as a fan as well as a skylight window with curtains to close out light if wanted.

The final bedroom or Green Room is on the second floor (first floor for European) as well off the small hall. It also has a cozy 'tree house' feel as the sloped ceilings gives a feeling of being snuggled inside. This room also has brand new bedframe and mattress. Built in cabinets and drawers if you like to put your things away, or a chair as well to sit and read in your room. There is a skylight as well in this room with curtains to either let light in or close for sleeping. 2 bedside tables with USB hubs and traditional outlets on the front so you can use and charge devices in bed and not hunt for wall outlets.

The small hall also has a darling old desk and chair and a comfy soft chair to escape and read if one like. There is also a window AC here too to keep it cool in Summer.

The Full bathroom is on the main floor off the dining room by the grand piano. It is cosy but old New England style with wood ceiling and floors. There is a touch light in shower for extra light as well as a working window to outside (With opaque glass) for privacy tho it is not overlooked, it is inside the Outdoor Shower (which is new and roomy this year and has hot and cold water and a bench inside)

We have great town water pressure so easily 2 people could shower at once, one outdoor shower (which is private) and one indoors in bathroom.

We are located on historic route 6A which makes it great to get to as you enter the cape. We are off the first exite after the bridge so easy to go on and off, so if a Trip off Cape to Boston and surroundings in on your list, easy access.

We are only 10 minute drive from the town beaches. One part of the beach requires a day pass , but if you park (or walk for a long walk from the house on the Cape Cod Canal Pathway accessible from back garden thru the Sagamore Inn garden) you can go to the beach for free from the Sand Marina. (Directions detailed at house).

As 6A can be busy on weekends, you would have some traffic noise, but overall, the feeling of Summer jollity sort of makes it work. As you do not see it from the main outdoor seating in the back garden.

We are also a 10 min drive to Historic downtown Sandwich which has so many lovely shops and restaurants and the old Grist Mill and pond. The historic Sandwich Glass museum, antique shops, and wonderful coffee shops.

Being on Historic route 6A also makes it easy to drive all along this byway where many of the Cape's antique shops, gift shops, and restaurants can be found as well as scenic byways to all the beaches along the entirety of the Cape.

Over we find that our well loved antique Cottage gives one the feeling of an old Family Summerhouse. The relaxed feel of the place mingled with the old wood and quaint feel of the place can make one feel like an old Cape Codder returning to the Family Retreat on a warm Summer's day or a cool Autumn one to see colors and go on whale watches.

Located in the heart of historic downtown Sandwich, Upstairs on Main is the perfect place to stay for a vacation in the quaint seaside town of Sandwich. The building is historic and is know as the old Post Office Building, built in 1865. Because of the history, the building has a lot of character. The property is a shared-use building. There are two retail shops located on the first floor and typically open 10-5. The apartment is on the second floor, up a full flight of stars and is across the hall from a bridal shop that is open by appointment.

The main level open plan features wood floors and handsome wood trim, and includes a Living Room with working fireplace, Dining Room with a slider to the deck and a gorgeous Kitchen with bartop seating. The Living Room boasts an new sofa, chairs, and tables for a fresh look. Bath with walk-in shower & Laundry on first floor, and Bath with tub/shower on second floor are both spa-like retreats boasting tile and marble.

Both of the upstairs Bedrooms have new beds and AC mini-splits, and Master Bedroom with King features a private upper-level balcony. The first-floor Bedroom with a Queen size Sofa bed is useful as either a Bedroom or Sitting Room to get some quiet remote work done! Smart TV in all 3 Bedrooms.
