- "Very interesting place. The location was exceptional with Nauset Beach within walking distance along with Pricilla Landing. Room was nice, however, a dormer took up half of it which made that part of the room unusable except for a TV. I did not have my own bathroom, bath towels were not replaced and it also wasn’t cleaned. I did receive one set of towels if I put used ones out. They had an excellent breakfast each morning that was available for a couple of hours. Small breakfast area and a sitting area outside. Grounds were very nice with a pool, which I didn’t use. Excellent, very small staff, so very one knows your name….Overall, very pleasant experience. Next time I’ll ask for a different type of room, if it’s available. It was almost like a very expensive boarding house. It was pricey, but it’s all about location, location, location. "

Welcome to Joy Cottage! Our Cozy Cape Cod cottage is tucked away in the woods, within walking distance to Bakers Pond in Orleans, MA and boarders Nickerson State Park. The cottage is 4.5 miles from Nauset Beach and 2 miles from Skaket Beach.

Joy Cottage features a large wrap-around deck and a roomy outdoor shower. The cottage shares a spacious, well landscaped yard with the owners residence. During the prime summer weeks, the owners residence is also rented out to vacationers. The cottage also has its own personal backyard space with plenty of privacy and fire pit. If you're looking for the ideal Cape Cod beach cottage experience, you'll find it in this updated two-bedroom East Orleans cottage. The cottage is an “up and down” style home. On the main level you will find a living room, kitchen, bath and primary bedroom with a queen-sized bed. The lower level has it's own private entrance (no access from the main level). And down there you will find a living area with a comfy pullout sofa, kitchenette and one bedroom with two twins plus another full bath connected to the twin room. A perfect layout for two families. And you are about 1.25 miles to Nauset Beach!

Outside is where you'll be spending most of your time. The owners have added a heated pool. A great place to relax after a day at Nauset Beach. There is a great deck with a gas grill. Plus there is a hot tub! You'll also find a large picnic table with an awning if you want to get out of the sun and a gas fire-pit. Next to all of that you have the coolest garage in Orleans that has been transformed. Inside you will find a bar, Foosball table and seating for 8 for those times when you'd prefer not to eat outside. The location is ideal...a short 5-min walk to the tucked-away, sandy beach on Baker's Pond. You can swim, kayak, canoe or fish. This pond is stocked with trout and small-mouth bass.

Rock Harbor(free parking) is just a little past Skaket Beach. Arrange a fishing trip on one of the many charter boats or just watch them bring in their catch. Rock Harbor is another good spot to walk out "on the flats" at low tide. Really fun for kids! And don't miss the sunset on Cape Cod Bay-WOW!

When we saw this Cape Cod Tiny House, it was love at first sight! The location is ideal - close to our favorite beach, Skaket, two blocks from the Cape Cod Rail Trail, and a short walk (or bike) to Main Street. The yard is spacious and we never tire of identifying various birdsongs and watching the occasional turkey pass by. The console table in the sunroom has proven to be the ideal location for those times that we're working from home (although, be prepared to be distracted by the aforementioned turkeys!). And nothing beats starting (and/or ending) the day with an outdoor shower!

Let Us Tell You About This Home:
Enter into the living room with soothing hues and pops of color adorning the space containing a comfortable couch, bar-height table with stools looking out the oversized window (an ideal location to set down your coffee cup or laptop), and a remote-controlled gas stove providing cozy cottage heat when needed. Next to the living room is the dining area with seating for four near another large window looking outside.

Adjoining this space is the galley kitchen with bright white appliances and plenty of counter space for preparing meals. There is also a conveniently located dish washer and a stackable washer/dryer. The kitchen is stocked with spices for your cooking adventures, as well as an assortment of complimentary teas and Keurig coffees to enjoy.

The remainder of the home includes a bedroom featuring a Queen sized bed and window AC, a den with a Queen sized sleeper sofa, TV with Roku and window AC as well as a full bathroom with stall shower.

Outside is a gorgeous corner lot offering both sun and shade for its guests. There is a gas grill, a picnic table, and a stone patio with furniture for four at which to enjoy an adult beverage in the shade while grilling. Nearby, on the side of the house, is a traditional Cape Cod shower and a deck box filled with beach chairs, sand toys, and a wagon to take for an afternoon at Skaket Beach.

If the weather isn't cooperating, for those members of your group who don't enjoy the beach or just for a fun night in - the home also provides indoor entertainment in the form of Board Games, Playing Cards, Books, and a Record Player!

Whether it's burgers & hot dogs, fresh caught local fish or ribeye steaks, somehow your dinner will just taste better when it is enjoyed outdoors on either deck or in the gazebo. Lovely room in a spacious house on a very private tree-lined lot in South Orleans. Home is conveniently located close to beaches, golf, biking, restaurants and shops. Privacy and a lovely setting make this a great place to stay.

The space
Guests get a first floor private bedroom and bathroom (across the hall) in a private home. There is an outdoor deck with tables/chairs and umbrellas for enjoying a snack. I do not provide kitchen privileges or food/beverages but there is a mini fridge/freezer in your closet for storing beverages, snacks and ice packs.

Guests have their private bedroom with king sized bed, private bathroom across the hall and use of outdoor deck, hammock and the rest of the yard.

During your stay
I will greet guests with their key or leave key for them when I am unable to be there at arrival time. I have a private suite on the second floor of house.

My home is on a fragile septic system; nothing but toilet paper in toilet, please. There is a wonderful outdoor shower as well as shower in guest bathroom. Guest parking space is to the left of garage.

Indulge in relaxation and leisure at Snowtop on the Town Cove. The charming retreat features a private entrance, a spacious bedroom with a king size bed, a full bath, and a sunlit living room with a dining table offering picturesque views of the Town Cove. Guests are encouraged to bring their kayaks and paddleboards, as a town landing is conveniently located nearby.
Nestled on a tranquil road, Snowtop is just 3 miles from stunning Nauset Beach and 2 miles from the center of Orleans.

The space
There is a mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker and a piano that is slightly out of tune. An air conditioner will keep the bedroom cool, with a fan in the living room if the breeze off the cove is not enough. There is an inflatable twin bed that can be set up in the living room or bedroom to accommodate a third person.

Guests will enjoy a separate entrance, bedroom, bathroom and living room with an area to prepare a snack. At one end of the living room, is a dining table over looking the Town Cove where you can eat, play games or be on your laptop. Snowtop is high above the cove and guests are welcome to sit outside and enjoy the views.

Other things to note
Snowtop is open this winter, come enjoy quiet Cape Cod, bundle up and stroll the beaches or walk on the Rail Trail, shop in the small, interesting stores or try the many restaurants that are open.

Our second floor guest suite is on a quiet street, within walking distance to the center of town and a quick drive to ocean and bay beaches.

Featuring an open floor plan and high ceilings, the suite includes a living/dining room, kitchenette, reading nook, private bath, and spacious bedroom.

Guests have their own outside entrance and tiny deck. Our family of four (+dog & cat) live downstairs. We are happy to provide tips and recommendations, or let you enjoy your privacy.

Walk out the kitchen door and in five minutes you've arrived at famous Nauset Beach with its clean golden sand and gentle surf. You're also not far from Mill Pond, which offers bass and pickerel for the taking. Orleans is one of the most charming towns on Cape Cod and is known for its beautiful beach as well as its summer stock theater. Enjoy a meal at one of the many fine restaurants in town, from casual to upscale. Swim, sun, boogie board, and surf in the waves of the Atlantic Ocean or take a long walk and collect shells. Enjoy lunch at Liam's, famous for fried seafood and onion rings to treat the whole family to a vacation-worthy meal!

With a patio, an eat-in kitchen, and a yard, you'll be relaxing in no time. Grab a book and snuggle on one of the two armchairs or watch your favorite show on the large TV. Grab one of the beach chairs and hit Nauset Beach, which is less than a quarter-mile down the road. You will also find a wooden dining table as well as an electric range, a fridge, and an antique hutch filled with china. If you want to make the most of the daylight, prepare some veggies and take them out to the gas grill for tasty snacks during a family BBQ! There's seating for four on the back patio for dining alfresco as well.

We call this our tree top cottage. It sits up on a hill overlooking the trees. The cottage is 1000 sq ft and is an open, bright and clean space that is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, safe for kids and bikes. We are near a boat landing and a 10 min drive to all ocean/bay beaches. Orleans is the perfect central location to the best of Cape Cod, abutting both the national seashore with its 40 miles of undeveloped ocean beaches, as well as the calm tidal waters of Cape Cod Bay.

The space
Enjoy your morning coffee in the large combined living/dining area with its cathedral ceilings and panoramic windows. Comfortably sleeps 6 with two full baths. Deck and hammock to relax on. The cottage is located behind several acres of wooded conservation land and walking trails. 20 minute walk (2 min drive) to Pleasant Bay and boat landing where you can launch to explore the National Seashore's famous ocean barrier beach, and the tributaries and islands of Pleasant Bay. Parking for 3 cars.
