- "Very interesting place. The location was exceptional with Nauset Beach within walking distance along with Pricilla Landing. Room was nice, however, a dormer took up half of it which made that part of the room unusable except for a TV. I did not have my own bathroom, bath towels were not replaced and it also wasn’t cleaned. I did receive one set of towels if I put used ones out. They had an excellent breakfast each morning that was available for a couple of hours. Small breakfast area and a sitting area outside. Grounds were very nice with a pool, which I didn’t use. Excellent, very small staff, so very one knows your name….Overall, very pleasant experience. Next time I’ll ask for a different type of room, if it’s available. It was almost like a very expensive boarding house. It was pricey, but it’s all about location, location, location. "

Welcome to Joy Cottage! Our Cozy Cape Cod cottage is tucked away in the woods, within walking distance to Bakers Pond in Orleans, MA and boarders Nickerson State Park. The cottage is 4.5 miles from Nauset Beach and 2 miles from Skaket Beach.

Joy Cottage features a large wrap-around deck and a roomy outdoor shower. The cottage shares a spacious, well landscaped yard with the owners residence. During the prime summer weeks, the owners residence is also rented out to vacationers. The cottage also has its own personal backyard space with plenty of privacy and fire pit. On the main level you will find a living room, kitchen, bath and primary bedroom with a queen-sized bed. The lower level has it's own private entrance (no access from the main level). And down there you will find a living area with a comfy pullout sofa, kitchenette and one bedroom with two twins plus another full bath connected to the twin room. A perfect layout for two families. And you are about 1.25 miles to Nauset Beach!

Outside is where you'll be spending most of your time. The owners have added a heated pool. A great place to relax after a day at Nauset Beach. There is a great deck with a gas grill. Plus there is a hot tub! You'll also find a large picnic table with an awning if you want to get out of the sun and a gas fire-pit. Next to all of that you have the coolest garage in Orleans that has been transformed.
