Our second story studio is the perfect option for singles or a couple wanting to spend some time in beautiful Nantucket. The apartment has its own entrance and is in a separate building. We live on a quiet residential street a five minute walk away from the Old Mill and fifteen minutes to the cobbled Main Street of Nantucket town.

Our closest beach is Cisco beach, and in the other direction, Surfside beaches. You can get to either by bicycle in twenty minutes via bike path.

We are happy to loan our bicycles to guests! That said, the bikes are occasionally out for repair since they are heavily used, and in that case, we recommend Easy Riders, a 10-minute walk away for rentals. There is a NRTA bus stop right around the corner and taxis and Ubers are readily available.

Near all South Shore beaches, 'WOODY' is a beautiful post and beam nestled down a long private drive on a wooded lot. It is on the bike path that leads to nearby beaches only moments away or you can head directly into town.
There are seafood, wine and grocery stores close by in the neighborhood. The Meat and Fish Store, Fairgrounds Restaurant, Pip and Anchor, PI Pizza , and many more , all close by.! Bikes shops will deliver your bikes right at your door and bike path is right outside.
The great room is light and lovely and there is a kitchen equipped with everything you will need. If you bring a car there is parking just outside your door . There is a bike rental shop just down the street that will deliver to your door.
The bathroom is spacious with a Jacuzzi and separate shower.
The bedroom has a queen size bed and a large closet space.

The house is seconds to the bike path and shuttle bus which provide service to Downtown and other areas of the Island. Millie’s is a 5 minute walk and now includes live music on certain summer evenings (not to mention the fish tacos are amazing!). Millie’s often offers shuttle service to/from Cisco Brewery. The house is very close to miles of conservation land which can be explored in the wild or via the paved trails provided for long walks, runs or biking.

The ocean is steps from this cottage. As is Madaket Harbor, which is an excellent calm beach for small children or for stand up paddle boards or kayaking (both accessible in home rental). From the house, it is ~ 2 miles along the harbor or ocean to the the tip of Smith Point where seals are often seen swimming the shore.

Additional amenities include wireless high-speed internet, flat screen tv, and Alexa. We accept all well-behaved pets and mildly unruly for an additional cleaning fee (to be discussed based on type of pet).

This elegant rose-covered home is in the historic district, one block from the Oldest House, walking distance to Children's Beach, Brant Point, & Jetties Beach, and the center of town. It is located on a secluded site which borders the Lily Pond, and has its own off-street parking.

The main entrance opens onto a dining area and kitchen with a cathedral ceiling. The fully-equipped food preparation area includes blender, garbage disposal, dishwasher, electric cooktop and oven, microwave, and large refrigerator/freezer with automatic ice maker. The 500-square-foot living room has parquet floors, fireplace, desk area, and sliding glass doors which open on a 25-foot redwood deck. The powder room and the laundry adjoin the spacious living area.

Upstairs, the central hall opens on two bedrooms, one with twin beds, and the other with a queen-sized bed. Contemporary lighting and spacious closets are features of both rooms. The bathroom has a modern tub and shower, overhead infra-red heaters, and a large linen closet.

Eight Gardner Street, located around the corner from Nantucket's historic Main Street, is an antique building completely renovated on the interior in 1992 to create a spacious, well decorated, two bedroom, two bath home with outdoor shower and brick patio. The house has central air conditioning and off street parking for one vehicle. In the summer season we are a Sunday to Sunday rental.
This Greek Revival style building has an over-sized antique front door and large 20 pane windows which are reminders of the building's past. A short walk or bike to the beach (10 - 15 minutes at a leisurely pace... you want to be leisurely on your vacation!), we offer privacy and seclusion, facing South toward the breezes and the sound of the surf. Although true to Colonial architectural detail on the outside, the downstairs has an open plan, centering on a wall of glass that opens out onto a porch and steps down onto a brick terrace. The two bedrooms upstairs each have a skylight through which to watch the stars. The outdoor shower rocks!
The owners live on the property, in the adjacent Garage apt. The properties are totally separate = orientation, parking, outdoor living spaces etc... enhanced with fenced screening and lush natural plantings.

Biking: Nantucket has created a wonderful bike path system that one may ride in safety. The bike path is only 100 yards from the house and takes one either to the beach, to town, or connects to the Surfside, Siasconset and Polpis bike paths for trips around the island - Wide and well maintained.

Nantucket also has a shuttle bus system for travelers and locals alike. The Town shuttle (which runs until 11pm) stop is 1 mile, a fifteen minute walk, from the house... all along the bike path- and FREE through September. The Surfside Beach shuttle is only a few hundred yards from the house, but only runs until 6pm. And you can bike to the shuttle stop if you want to shuttle and bike at other parts of the if you get tired, the bus will bring you and your bike home!

Surfside gets its name from the waves and wide beaches along the South shore, perfect for fishing, swimming and sunning. Our house is but a short walk or bike from the beach. There is a pavilion there with showers and restrooms if you desire, and Life Guards are present, as the surf can be big. IF you are adventurous, you can stroll down the beach to a more remote area or even (1/2 mi. down the beach and around toward the west) a nude beach!

The space
The house is three levels and has lots of natural light. Even if it’s raining out the house appears bright and warm. It is situated on a quiet private lot. The house has ocean views from the second and third floor, as well as a nice view of Sankaty lighthouse. Each room is equipped with smart TVs and hi speed internet. There are so many places to sit and enjoy views outside. There is a mahogany deck that goes the whole length of the house with a gas grill and dining area. There is a farmers porch that leads to a jacuzzi hot tub, and lastly a large deck with seating in an English garden. A new bluestone patio was just installed with a gas fire pit for outdoor dining as well.

Our home is a welcome non-smoking oasis from downtown for families and couples, while enjoying all the island has to offer. We live on a quiet street located in the Surfside/S. Shore area, a 10-12 min walk to the bus stop (however parking is available on our property). Surfside Beach is 2 mi away, or a short walk in the other direction, to the beach at Access Point #18. Cycling & walking paths are nearby. The center of town is under 3 miles from our home. Bike rentals are easily accessed nearby.

The space
I am offering a spacious private room, recently redecorated on the second floor of our home. It includes a queen sized bed, a single daybed, and a comfortable easy chair to relax in, a full size table and two sturdy chairs, as well as a large closet. Provisions for coffee (freshly roasted beans) and tea making are supplied, and a mini fridge, too. Take your lunch out on bikes or to the beach, in a cooler that is available to you. A beach blanket, towels, umbrella, and chairs are provided during your stay. Guests come and go through a dedicated door for guests only.

The shared bath with walk in shower (bathrobes available) is right outside your room. Pack light, as basic toiletries are provided. Our enclosed outdoor shower on our back deck, is a glorious experience (May to Oct). Guests have access to a private side yard under our oak tree to enjoy; with hammock, table & chairs.

So that your visit to Nantucket is stress-free, you will have my contact number for anything you may need. I am available to offer any recommendations and suggestions for enjoying all the island has to offer. We do have a cat and dog who, while friendly, will not likely interact with guests unless we are around.

We have 2 front doors; you will use the door without widows to the left of the house, to come and go directly up the stairs to your room. The enclosed outdoor shower can be reached around to the back of the house.

2 bedrooms / 1 bath apartment with kitchenette near Nantucket Airport. Private entrance and one parking spot.
The apartment is adjacent to the hosts' living area and guests will be expected to observe quiet hours between 11 PM and 7 AM during which timeframe guests should refrain from load or disruptive activities. The apartment is located on an unpaved road in a thickly settled residential neighborhood.

The space
The apartment has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. One of the bedrooms is smaller, with skylight and two twin beds. The second bedroom is spacious and has a double bed and a couch. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, washer/dryer combo, microwave oven, and coffee machine. One parking space is available.

Private entrance via an outside staircase leading to the second floor.

Other things to note
The listing includes only ONE parking spot. Parking is not allowed on the street.
The apartment is not suitable for infants and children under age 7. There are steep stairs and the apartment is not child-proof.
The apartment is within 5 min walk to the WAVE bus stop and the rides are free for 2025.
Island Bike Company, where you can rent bikes, is within 25 min walk (on a bike path), and on the bus route, if you prefer to take the bus there.

My place is close to bike paths, the ocean and small eateries. You’ll love my place because of the quiet neighborhood and picturesque surroundings. The 20 minute walk to the ocean passes ponds, horse farm and dunes. Bike rental is 1.5 minute walk or they will deliver. Town is 3 miles and the WAVE bus stop is 1 mile from the house. One mile in either direction are small "shacks" that serve coffee and tasty food. Coffee bar available. Lovely Patio.

The house is approximately 1.5 miles from town. The base price displayed is for one room. If a party has more than 2 people there is a charge for the second room. The second room is at a discounted rate. When booking it will book for one room and an adjustment will be sent for the second room. The second room is not rented to other guests except under request of first booking party. I have a kitty. Although she does not go in rental rooms, DO NOT BOOK if you are allergic. Thank you

The space
The house is 1.5 miles from town. If walking DO NOT use walking setting on GPS as it sends people an odd way. Use car setting. If you take the bus $2, take Miacomet loop, get off at Cedar Circle drop off. Taxis, Uber, and lyft are available for transport.

Guest access
Guests have use of patio until 10 at night. Guests may use the refrigerator and microwave at any time.

During your stay
I am readily available to guests. I will give them privacy in the home but can help if needed. They will have my number to contact me whenever they please.

I have beach towels, beach chairs, and coolers available to guests. Guests are responsible for the return of items used and will be held accountable.

Summer Rental! Studio apartment with amazing views in Tom Nevers East. Full kitchen, with large table, queen bed and sofa to relax and a desk if you need to get work done but I hope not! A short walk to a quiet beach and bus stop at the end of the road. Decks front and back for privacy and separate entrance.

The space
A large studio apartment with one bathroom with a shower. Full kitchen with oven (no dishwasher). The decks allow for enjoying the amazing views, possibly better than the main house. Neighborhood tennis courts are available, just ask for the key!

First floor one bedroom studio for 2 guests only. Centrally located right on Nantucket Island's extensive bike path network. Enjoy high end furnishings tile bath room, marble counter tops and ultra comfortable mattress, down pillows and luxurious linens.

The space
Enjoy staying in a nantucket cottage with wood walls and ceilings. The Kitchen has 2 inch marble countertops and vintage farmers sink that were reclaimed from a summer house from the town of Sconset on the east side of the island. The living room and kitchen are one space which includes comfortable chairs, couches and a smart UHD TV. There is a designer bistro table and chairs from Spain with a soapstone top which is perfect for playing cards or dominos. There is a full size washer and dryer for your use. The full Bathroom has a tub for soaking. The bedroom is very cozy with queen bed. Enjoy custom curtains with matching fabric blinds to have perfect nights sleep removed from all light.
There is also a blue stone patio to enjoy

Guest access
Location is right on the bike path and also right on a bus stop. Getting around the island on bikes or by bus is the best way to enjoy the Island. We are a very easy bike ride to grocery stop. and several beaches are accessed completely by bike path There are several food options on the bike path as well(167 raw food truck with excellent fish tacos and 45 surfside is a great cafe).

We ask guest to be quiet in the studio apartment.

Cute studio just one block from lower Main Street and a block from the harbor. Full kitchen, bathroom with shower, hardwood floors, flat screen TV, wifi, washer/dryer. Super coffee shop two doors away, and you can walk everywhere! Come experience Nantucket Town, we'd love to have you!

The space
We are only a block and a half from the cobblestones of lower Main Street and a long block from the harbor. You might enjoy the great coffee and warm cinnamon muffins two doors away. We provide beach towels for your stay.

Other things to note
We urge our guests, purchase outside travel insurance that covers trip cancellations due to dangerous travel conditions from bad weather. John Hancock and IMG offer such policies.

Lovely room close to town, beaches, golf course. Quiet home in a beautiful neighborhood with access to everywhere with bike paths. Close by is the shuttle bus that runs every 20 minutes and can take you to almost every part of the island. We are roughly about 2 miles from the downtown area.

We have a large back deck with plenty of seating and a large table. Relaxing to sit out and drink your coffee in the morning or to enjoy a glass of wine in the early evening.

Charming, adorable, true Nantucket cottage on Joy Street. This cute bungalow is located right off the top of main, an 8 minute stroll downtown. A block from the historic Windmill. Walk a half a mile down lovely Main Street to all the shopping & dining Nantucket has to offer. Come relax in our cozy cottage adorned by beautiful window boxes & hydrangeas. Enjoy the perfect NE weather on our outside veranda with a beautiful teak dining area, outdoor couches & chairs. The outdoor shower is a must!

From the ferry: Home is approximately a .5 mile walk or a 5 min cab ride.
