This charming two story classic Nantucket rose covered cottage is located in Brant Point, just a 10 minute walk to the center of town, 3 beaches and ferries. There is no need for a car, though there is a private off-street driveway area in front of the house. This traditional Nantucket cottage has been completely refurbished with new furnishings and decorations, luxury European sheets, bedding, towels, dishes and glassware - and HVAC split system (thermostatic controls) replacing all window units and space heaters. We have some of the best competitive prices for the Island and the best off season rates. Long weekends available in early and late off-season.

Also note that because our property is away from Nantucket Town proper you will need to think about transportation to our house particularly in the off-season. As a result, you should figure out transportation before booking our property. While there is shuttlebus service that stops one block from our house (check with Nantucket Regional Transit Authority for precise dates of operation and confirm the bus makes stops in Sconset for the dates and times you are interested in) renting a car, Uber, bikes, or cabs are also options and you should contact the Nantucket Chamber of Commerce to get better information on using any of these modes of transportation. Also note that bus service outside of the higher season months runs less frequently so check out the schedule if you are planning on using this mode of transportation to make sure it works out with your plans. You can also bring your car over on the Steamship out of Hyannis but you must make reservations with the Nantucket/Marthas Vineyard Steamship Authority. If you plan on using the Steamship Authority to bring your car over, make sure you have checked with them regarding availability as well as cost before booking our cottage.

Note for weeks where we require a 7 day minimum stay (Memorial Day to October) (we book Saturday to Saturday) we do not book additional days beyond the 7 day minimum unless your request is for an additional 7 days (in other words we don't accept 10 day stays for example) during this time frame.

Because we are located on an Island, travel to the Island may be impacted by weather or mechanical issues if you are traveling by boat or plane. This is something we have no control over. If this is a concern of yours, it is our understanding that VRBO offers trip insurance. Although we are not familiar with the terms of this insurance product and if it would cover travel related issues, it is something you may want to check on when thinking about booking a trip to Nantucket.

Cleaning cost ranges from $100 to $200 depending upon condition cottage is in when cleaners arrive! Please call for hints on how to reduce cleaning costs if you are interested.

The key to the cottage is kept in a lockbox. Instructions for using the lockbox will be provided to you prior to your visit.

Located on a private lane just a short walk to town and easy access to bike paths and beaches, our property is a quintessential Nantucket getaway. Our property consists of two cottages (Cottage A, Leeward and Cottage B, Windward), duplex style, with separate entrances and decks and a large shared yard (see listing #602380 for Cottage A). There is also a separate studio on the property that the owners use occasionally.

Cottage B (Windward) has two bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and main living room with efficient kitchen and living space. Both bedrooms have full size beds. The deck with comfortable outdoor furniture and a Weber gas grill overlooks the large shared, nicely landscaped yard. There is also ample off-street parking. Quality linens included. Beach chairs, beach towels and small cooler bag available for use. Just bring yourself! The cottage is equipped for four (4) guests and that occupancy limit is very strict. If you have questions or concerns, please ask.

If you are traveling with small children, we can help connect you to a local rental company that can provide anything else you might need for your stay. We do not maintain bikes for use by guests but please ask about local rentals!

The kitchen is efficiently updated with an LG refrigerator, compact stove, microwave and a dishwasher, and everything that you would need for a week's getaway is provided. Our Keurig coffeemaker can make a single cup using a pod, or a pot using coffee grounds.

The bathroom features marble floors and tile walls with a modern glass shower surround.

Outside you will find a large professionally landscaped yard and a convenient outdoor shower with on demand hot water and a dressing area for privacy.

While just a short walk to Main Street for shopping and dining along with the harbor area- the cottage is down a secluded lane that is quiet and a great place to relax.

WiFi and a flat screen TV with Cable TV are provided.

There are security cameras located on the end of the Cottage B overlooking the driveway area and on the exterior of Cottage C overlooking the yard immediately in front of that cottage. The cameras are monitored by the hosts. There is a motion-activated light to illuminate the driveway after dark (the light turns on temporarily and then turns off automatically). The walkway is lit by solar-powered landscape lighting and your cottage has an exterior light by the entrance that can be switched on and off from inside the cottage. With a complete renovation, we brought this fishing cottage into the 21st century, while honoring its past and original character. Behind the walls lined with reclaimed wood and underneath the wide plank floors, it is all modern!

Originally built in the 1800s, no exact date known, just as a single room fisherman’s shanty, it was dismantled and reconstructed right here in 2019. Though we added more rooms and upper floor during the reconstruction, it remains a humble, yet luxurious and comfortable abode.

The living space of the cottage is very open, taking advantage of vast water views while bringing in the salt air and wonderful light through a double french door that spills the daily life open onto an enormous floating deck (400 sq. ft) in the back. From here, step on your private dock with a paddleboard (in season and offered as-is and at your own risk), and the world is your oyster.

The open pro kitchen is extremely functional with a Viking stove, large Smeg fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, deep farmhouse sink, and open shelving. Cast iron pans and clay pots. Plates and bowls came from Brimfield over 15 years ago and have traveled with us till now they found their forever home. The lamp above the sink is salvaged from a warehouse in Poland, a country especially close to our hearts.

The living room, the original “single room” from the 1800s, with wooden ceiling beams, features a built-in daybed (standard twin) for storytelling or napping and an antique chest that was a gift from a dear friend many years ago.

The dining area marries all open spaces for catch-all gatherings. Vintage finds and handmade housewares collected during close and far travels ensure an eclectic feel throughout and a soft “new New England” fishing village vibe.

Up the stairs, the sleeping quarters are very serene with a neutral palette, natural textures, and a couple of pieces of small furniture.

In the Master Bedroom (queen bed), the view from the bed creates the illusion that you are floating on the sea. There is something magical in the way the light comes in through this window, you might end up reading, journaling, creating, and daydreaming, even if that’s not what you usually do.

The Bunk Bedroom (four twins) is well-suited for children or single travelers. In theory, it sleeps four, but if you are all full-grown adults, we suggest three. Nostalgic, making you feel like a kid again, with a unique beach ball chandelier. You might just drift off at night and you might think it is for real, especially if you peek through the window.

Bathing is, of course, all modern and just like everything else, squeaky clean. One full bath on each floor. White subway tiles, glass-enclosed showers, exposed plumbing fixtures, deep vintage-inspired utility sinks. Despite these luxuries, you might choose our third option, a cedar-enclosed outdoor shower!

This cottage keeps on giving. It gives calmness and peace. Come alone for restorative time or to finish your novel, or come with family to bond and refocus on what really matters. We are honored you took the time to get to know it a bit, we invite you to come and stay.

My place is one of the lowest priced around that allows one night stays and the Wauwinet hotel down the road charges minimum $2000 a night for one room. We are NOT A POSH STAY. It is more like a hostel/bohemian/communal surfer vibe. If you bring some fish home, I could very likely cook it up for all the guests. We are smack in the middle of nature and I do my best at keeping the bugs out but we are a beach cottage. No heat but wonderful breezes. Think Hawaii. ONLY low maintenance guests book, if you are high maintenance this is NOT THE STAY for you. Please book elsewhere. The only shower in the cottage is OUTSIDE. It's the best thing about the cottage. Rooms are tiny. We have deer rabbits, squirrels and birds and any other creatures on Nantucket. We do not have bed bugs.

Bikes/Kayaks available for rent $40 a day, but use at your own risk. Let us know if there is anything you need! No shoes to be worn in the cottage and no smoking on or near the cottage. This is a quiet area with water views and a private beach access. Please enter the correct number of guests. There is an extra per guest fee of $100 for more than two guests. Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am.$40 additional fee for early check in or late check out. Please respect the check in times. You are welcome to leave your luggage at the house for free.

To get to the private beach, walk to the neighbor's flag pole and turn right, walk down a small short path and take the stairs to the private beach.

We are one step above camping. We are the traditional quintessential Nantucket beach experience. We are not a posh fancy place. Our rooms are tiny so minimal baggage please, otherwise do not complain about the storage as there are teeny closets. Think the old days. One bathroom. We do have locks on the inside of the rooms otherwise the rooms do not lock from the outside. Please inquire if you have any questions.

My place is one of the lowest priced around that allows one night stays and the Wauwinet hotel down the road charges minimum $2000 a night for one room. We are NOT A POSH STAY. It is more like a hostel/bohemian/communal surfer vibe. If you bring some fish home, I could very likely cook it up for all the guests. We are smack in the middle of nature and I do my best at keeping the bugs out but we are a beach cottage. No heat but wonderful breezes. Think Hawaii. ONLY low maintenance guests book, if you are high maintenance this is NOT THE STAY for you. Please book elsewhere. The only shower in the cottage is OUTSIDE. It's the best thing about the cottage. Rooms are tiny. We have deer rabbits, squirrels and birds and any other creatures on Nantucket. We do not have bed bugs.

Bikes/Kayaks available for rent $40 a day, but use at your own risk. Let us know if there is anything you need! No shoes to be worn in the cottage and no smoking on or near the cottage. This is a quiet area with water views and a private beach access. Please enter the correct number of guests. There is an extra per guest fee of $100 for more than two guests. Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am.$40 additional fee for early check in or late check out. Please respect the check in times. You are welcome to leave your luggage at the house for free.

To get to the private beach, walk to the neighbor's flag pole and turn right, walk down a small short path and take the stairs to the private beach.

We are one step above camping. We are the traditional quintessential Nantucket beach experience. We are not a posh fancy place. Our rooms are tiny so minimal baggage please, otherwise do not complain about the storage as there are teeny closets. Think the old days. One bathroom. We do have locks on the inside of the rooms otherwise the rooms do not lock from the outside. Please inquire if you have any questions.

The space
The charming cottage has been renovated this winter: fresh paint and lovely pine floors throughout, with brand new furniture and appliances. It's peaceful, tucked off the street and abutting conservation land, allowing you access to all of the quality features of Fisher's Landing.

Across the street are two tennis courts for your use, the shuttle bus which runs every thirty minutes in and out of town for no charge, and adjacent to Nantucket's beautiful bike path, the location is ideal. We are in short walking distance to the beach, Madaket Harbor and Long Pond for fishing and kayaking.

Fisher's Landing is well known for its quiet one way streets and historically preserved homes. There is a 5 minute walk to the north shore beaches through Linda Loring's Bird Sanctuary. Picnic at Eel Point and swim in in the tidal pools, the beach is just a short walk from our cottage. This peaceful location offers you easy access to town, with so many additional resources just out your front door.

Our Nantucket cottage is a single family dwelling, tucked between conservation land and the quiet one way streets of Fisher's Landing. There are two tennis courts, a basketball court, and access to the Nantucket Wave shuttle bus and beautiful bike path. A short walk to the North shore beaches, Madaket Harbor and Long Pond, you'll find a lovely Nantucket get-away.

We will email you access directions to the cottage and will leave you the house entry code and tennis courts keys.

Please keep in mind that access to the second floor and master bedroom is via a nautical captain's ladder.

Moongate Cottage provides a tranquil setting for your vacation. Enjoy relaxing in our landscaped yard surrounded by beautiful mature hedges and hydrangeas. The cottage is fully stocked and perfect for a romantic getaway for two or a fun girls’ trip.

The cottage Includes a washer and dryer, air conditioning, cable television and WiFi. We provide fresh linens for the bedroom and bathroom. The bed has a queen memory foam mattress.

Our patio has an eating area with four chairs and a gas fire pit. We provide 2 folding chairs and towels for your day trips to the beach. We kindly ask that you leave your sandy items outside. There are two parking spaces in our private crushed-shell driveway if you bring or rent a car. During the summer we have a 7-night minimum stay, Saturday to Saturday.

The space
'Lesser Light' is a darling COTTAGE, privately set down a long winding driveway bordered by wildflowers and surrounded by thick brush. Close to beaches, shuttle bus stop, bike path, walking trails. The cottage has cathedral ceilings and wood floors throughout, with stained pine details, and a fully-equipped kitchen (including dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and pots and pans), a washer/dryer, a main room with an eating area (table and four chairs), a bedroom with a queen bed, and a separate sleeping area with a full-size futon off the main room (with pocket doors that close for privacy). Linens and towels are provided. The cottage has a full bathroom with a tub/shower. It also has a very large, private outdoor deck with table, chairs and umbrella, two chaise lounges, a gas grill, a hammock and an outdoor shower. The cottage will comfortably sleep up to two couples, but is even more perfect for a couple alone or with 1-2 small children. A maximum of four guests allowed.

Bring your bikes! We are a 3-minute walk from the bike path and a shuttle bus stop, one and a half miles from the closest beach, and a 10-15 minute ride into the center of town. There is plenty of off-street parking as the cottage is situated up a fairly long, winding driveway and has its own parking area.

Pet Free and rented by the week - Saturday check ins and check outs - Dalliance is only minutes to Surfside Beach, the cottage for rent is perfect for a couple, solo adventurers, and small families. (Max. 4 people in occupancy). The outdoor shower rocks!

The space
Dalliance was designed and built by Michael and me, with true Colonial architectural detailing and and an open floor plan. The downstairs is one large space, the south wall is all glass doors which open onto a covered porch, brick dining patio, outdoor shower with vanity, and lawn. The kitchen is fully equipped for a true cook. Linens, towels and beach towels are provided, along with beach chairs, coolers, beach umbrella and boogie boards. Each bedroom has a skylight and ample closet and dresser space. There is a bluetooth stereo system and lots of games and books to enjoy.

The house is a circa 1850 half-cape. The house retains all of the features of Old Nantucket, which is quickly disappearing with overdone renovations and reconstruction. There are three full baths in the home; two new full baths, one on the first floor, one on the second floor, each with a shower and a full bath with tub on the second floor. All three bedrooms are on the second floor: two queen sized and two twin beds. The patio has a private bricked in area with a gas grill. There is ample off-street parking for one car.

A unique upside down two bedroom cottage with a deck and a view of the Harbor. A curated space with antique beams, handcrafted doors, flooring and cabinetry, antiques and fine art. It all lends a vintage feel to an up to date with all the amenities home. There is a private small side yard and garden with outdoor grill and seating. This is not a party house, it’s a sensitive house, my husband and I live right on the property, adjacent to the cottage, you have full privacy but no shenanigans.

Parking is located in a shared shell covered area behind the house which is accessed from either Bank Street or Codfish Park Road via Fawcett Lane (small alley way cut through) Please park as close to one side as possible in parking area. You are entitled to ONE spot.

1) Dogs are charged at an additional $20 per day with a 2 dog maximum. NO CATS.
2) All garbage, trash and recycled materials must be sorted according to instructions provided. Failure to properly sort and dispose of trash, etc. will result in a request for additional funds from Airbnb.
3) Only the named lessee and his/her invited guests may occupy the cottage. The named lessee must be in residence and this lease is not assignable or transferable.
4) Guests are requested to contact owner or caretaker upon arrival and to report any issue that is not satisfactory in order to allow the owner to rectify the problem, if possible. All complaints readily discoverable, must be notified within 24 hours of arrival.
5) Guests are requested to be mindful not to bring sand into the house, which makes the cleaning for change over difficult.
6) Guests are requested to strip beds before leaving and to start the first load of wash. It would be appreciated if some towels were washed the night before departure, if possible.
7) Kindly keep in mind that as your host, I work very hard to assure a pleasant stay. Therefore, I would appreciate being contacted immediately should any issue arise that would impede your most satisfactory comments.

My place is right on Codfish Park Road just 5 steps to the beach with an unobstructed water view. It's in the best part of 'Sconset. You're a 2 minute walk to the 'Sconset Market, 'Sconset Cafe, Post Office, Claudette sandwich shop, & bus to town. We're a short walk to the Summer House restaurant, Chanticleer Restaurant, 'Sconset Casino, New Street art galleries & the Historic captains' and artists' cottages covered with roses.
It's perfect for romantic vacationing or bringing the family.

The space
"Leap O'Faith is a DIRECT WATERFRONT with the beach about 20' from the front door and your own beach path.
There are not many beach houses that have this kind of access and view of 'Sconset Beach. For children: there is a large playground right down the street.
Everything is right there - restaurants, shops, art gallery, bus stop, post office, liquor store, and all the rose covered vintage cottages.
PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE NOT 6 BEDS. WE HAVE A KING BED AND TWIN DAY BED UPSTAIRS AND A QUEEN BED AND A FULL PULL OUT SOFA DOWNSTAIRS.
This cottage has 2 open floors - There is no visual privacy on each floor between sleeping areas. The upstairs and downstairs can be closed off from each other with separate entrances for both. Each floor has a bathroom, kitchen facility, seating area, dining area, sleeping areas, each with flat screen tv's . Please contact Host for any inquiries about suitability.
**To enhance your comfort, the second floor bathroom has been completely remodeled for the 2023 season**
The cottage is well equipped with all linens, cooking needs, beach towels, gas grill & 2 outdoor seating areas.

The Guest(s) will have access to the entire house - which consists of 2 floors which can be totally closed off from one another for privacy concerns.
There is an out door shower attached to my other cottage "Oh My Cod!" and it is used by both cottages. Also, the garbage bin next to outdoor shower is used by both cottages.
Parking spot designated for both cottages. Please park to one side to allow car from other cottage to park.

Other things to note
Because of Covid-19 cleaning protocol concerns, all guests are asked to start the cleaning process before their check out at 10:00 AM - which would be to strip all used beds, start the first wash and dispose of all garbage/trash in clear plastic bags according to regulations.

Sunny Madaket cottage with panoramic ocean views. Prime location less than a 5 minute walk from beautiful Madaket harbor and a short drive from Eel Point and 40th Pole. Madaket harbor is the most productive scallop fishery on the island and its right at your doorstep!

The space
This charming Madaket cottage has everything you need and more to enjoy the natural beauty of Nantucket with all the comforts of home. Located on over an acre of land on the west side of the island, privacy and peace are guaranteed. The home is spacious, sunny and tastefully decorated, featuring 3 large bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 3 separate living rooms and 4 outdoor decks and patios.

The main floor of the home was carefully designed with entertainment and connecting with others in mind. The cozy sitting area opens up to a fully equipped eat-in kitchen, featuring high-end appliances, ample counter space, and all the necessary tools to prepare gourmet meals from home. The kitchen is conveniently located right next to the dining room, making for easy transitions between meal prep and dinner time. Just off the dining room is a massive screened-in deck with lounge furniture and an outdoor dinner table perfect for “al fresco” dining on warm summer nights. Also located on the main floor is a king bedroom with a generously sized en-suite bathroom, private sitting area and attached deck with seating for two.

The second floor living room features gorgeous vaulted ceilings, plush furniture, a 62-inch LG smart TV and a bar area with a sink and wine fridge. The second floor bathroom is complete with white marble countertops and tile, a spacious rain shower, plenty of storage and east-facing windows to enjoy the sunrise while taking your morning shower. Off the living room is the top floor deck- perhaps the highlight of the entire house. Watch magnificent Madaket sunsets from one of four Adirondack chairs and take in the stunning panoramic views of the Atlantic ocean and west side of Nantucket. The second floor master suite boasts equally spectacular views of Madaket Harbor and Smiths point, a king sized bed and plenty of storage and closet space.

The lower level media room is a fantastic place to catch up on your favorite movies and shows, with a 70-inch TV, wet bar, wine fridge and a custom sectional sofa with a pull-out bed. The basement bunk room comfortably sleeps two with a full-size bunk bed and attached bathroom with a shower and bathtub. Another patio with a dining table for four is located off of the basement foyer.

Outdoor spaces are the highlight of this home, with over an acre of private land to unwind outdoors without any unnecessary distractions. Off of the screened-in deck is a bluestone patio with a barbecue grill and outdoor shower and stairs leading down to the lower level patio. The expansive and well-maintained yard is perfect for guests with families. The house has a crushed shell driveway with plenty of parking space for guests.

Also available for rent is the 3 bedroom main house and/or 1 bedroom bunk house on the property. Both homes would be ideal for two families traveling together or a larger family.

Madaket Beach is a couple hundred yards away. Enjoy magnificent days at the beach with zero fuss. Come back home for a pit stop, lunch break, etc. Forgot something? No worries, it's a minutes-long round trip and you're back basking in ocean splendor. If you're adventurous, bring a 4x4 and purchase a beach pass so you can do off-roading , fishing, and sightseeing via Smith Point. Madaket Beach and Smith Point have the undisputed best sunsets in Nantucket, bring your cameras/phones!

Madaket is a quaint village approximately 6 miles from Nantucket Town. You can cast your reel at Smith’s Point for some of the best fishing. Miles and miles of quiet dirt roads are behind the house to enjoy a long peaceful walk or to train for your next marathon. You will have the best seats in Nantucket to experience the famous Madaket sunsets and the amazing starlit skies.

Our brand new modern beach cottage sits over conservation land with the ocean behind. stunning views and immaculate decor. walk down a private path to nantucket's most pristine, remote beaches. 5 min drive to sconset (great restaurants!) and 15 min drive to town (even more great restaurants/shopping). the place feels like the end of the world, so you can easily "check out" but also easily "plug in" - nantucket has a lot to offer!!

With complete renovation, we brought this fishing cabin into the 21th century, while honoring its past and original character. Behind the walls lined with reclaimed wood and underneath the wide plank floors, it is all modern! You can see our reviews on vrbo.

The space
Originally built in the 1800s, no exact date known, just as a single room fisherman’s shanty, it was dismantled and reconstructed right here in 2019. Though we added more rooms and upper floor during the reconstruction, it remains a humble, yet luxurious and comfortable abode.

The living space of the cottage is very open, taking advantage of vast water views while bringing in salt air and wonderful light through a double french door that spills the daily life open onto an enormous floating deck (400 sq.ft) in the back. From here, step on your private dock (if you have a dinghy, kayak or paddle-board), and the world is your oyster. Chaises and dining furniture for your lounging pleasure.

The open pro kitchen is extremely functional with Viking stove, large Smeg fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, deep farmhouse sink, and open shelving. Cast iron pans and clay pots. Plates and bowls came from Brimfield over 15 years ago and have traveled with us till now they found their forever home. The lamp above the sink is salvaged from a warehouse in Poland, a country especially close to our hearts.

The living room, the original “single room” from the 1800s, with wooden ceiling beams, features a built-in daybed (standard twin) for storytelling or napping and an antique chest that was a gift from a dear friend many years ago.

The dining area marries all open spaces for catch-all gatherings. Vintage finds and handmade housewares collected during close and far travels ensure an eclectic feel throughout and a soft “new New England” fishing village vibe. Up the stairs, the sleeping quarters are very serene with a neutral palette, natural textures, and a couple of pieces of small furniture.

In the Master Bedroom (queen bed), the view from the bed creates the illusion that you are floating on the sea. There is something magical in the way the light comes in through this window, you might end up reading, journaling, creating, and daydreaming, even if that’s not what you usually do. The Bunk Bedroom (four twins) is well-suited for children or single travelers. Nostalgic, making you feel like a kid again, with a unique beach ball chandelier. You might just drift off at night and you might think it is for real, especially if you peek through the window.

Bathing is, of course, all modern and just like everything else, squeaky clean. One full bath on each floor. White subway tiles, glass-enclosed showers, exposed plumbing fixtures, deep vintage-inspired utility sinks. Despite these luxuries, you might choose our third option, a cedar-enclosed outdoor shower!

This cottage keeps on giving. It gives calmness and peace. Come alone for restorative time or to finish your novel, or come with family to bond and refocus on what really matters. We are honored you took the time to get to know it a bit, we invite you to come and stay.
