"Welcome to Prestons Haven named for our son - Preston who is a very happy and active 6 year old boy. When I was a boy close in age to Preston, my father had a place one street behind Captain Dunbar on Roberts Road. Our cottage was named "SeaCargo". My brothers and I used to walk past - scratch that - run past Prestons Haven on the way to the beach every day throughout the summers during our childhoods. We continued to run into the same families and kids every single summer until we all "out grew" coming to the beach with our parents. We were here before the additions of Ocean Edge close to the bay - we would follow the streams up from the bay and find a perfect spot to build water dams, castles, forts and leave markers showing our stake at the bay...only to awake for it to have been all reset by mother nature. We would restart again the next day. I remember getting stung by my first jellyfish that I thought was so cool to pick up...NOT. I remember my brothers and I wearing the net shirts thinking that would block out the sun but soon to find out we started a new style of sunburn on the skin. I remember riding our bicycles to the local store around the corner for 25 cent comic books and an ice cream cone. I remember when we rode our bicycles through Nickerson State Park and thought we would never make it home. Two cozy bedrooms with one named Captain Quarters with a double sized bed and another named Crew Quarters with three twin beds - all have new foam mattresses for that restful night after a day on the beach. Enjoy the basic amenities that a beach cottage can provide with AC window units and Internet/Wi-Fi plus streaming TV with your own login. There is a full bathroom with shower only and a separate standalone outdoor shower for your use. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of this charming cottage and book now to enjoy everything it has to offer less than 150 steps from the Brewster Flats.

Approaching the home, you will notice the care taken to preserve the colorful plantings that surround the cottage. The bright hues of the flowering plants accent the bold blue door that welcomes you to the screened porch which runs the length of the front of the home. Within the screened porch, you will find a seating area with comfortable furniture at one end and a table with seating for four at the other. The screened porch doubles the living space of the home and allows you to cap off your sun-soaked beach days by unwinding where you can take in the coastal breeze and the ambiance of this idyllic location.

Inside the formal front door, you will find yourself in the living room of this home. Flanked with comfortable seating, a window unit AC and featuring a smart TV with cable/streaming capabilities, the space provides comfort amenities to its guests while exuding a timeless charm by maintaining its beautiful antique fireplace as the focal point (not for guest use).

On the right of the living space is access to the Primary bedroom, Captain Quarters, which offers a Double sized bed, ample closet space and a window AC unit to keep cool!

Continuing toward the back of the home, you will enter the kitchen with plenty of counterspace for meal preparation as well as a dining table for two that could be used for additional prep space for the chef if needed.

On the right of the kitchen is the bunk room, the Crew Quarters, which provides three Twin sized beds - two in the bunk and an additional bed via trundle.

Location:
The cottage is conveniently located close to 6A, but not near the traffic of 6A and rests in a quiet U-shaped lane. It is .4 miles from Paine's Creek Beach (walk or drop off) and a short 1.5 mile drive to Mant's Landing (AKA Robin’s Hill- permit parking and drop off). A short walk away you can find Dunkin Donuts, Luke Liquors, Kate's Seafood and Ice Cream, Lemon Tree Village Shops and Cape Cod's Museum of Natural of Natural History is about .5 miles away as well, but it is located on 6A so driving is recommended.

Beaches:
Brewster is known for the sunsets, seascape, hiking, kayaking, and stripe bass fishing! “Brewster is one of those gems that seems to have been built for the pail-and-shovel crowd, who lounge in the tidal pools or scramble to find fiddler and horseshoe crabs. Plan to be there at high tide, or you may have to walk a mile to get from the beach to the water’s edge.”

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
The Brewster Beach Cottage is located in the lovely Foster Road neighborhood in Brewster and less than a 5 minute walk to a 1/2-mile private association beach on Cape Cod Bay. The Cottage is a 1 bedroom (sleeps 2), 1 bathroom cottage. Tenants are to provide their own Linens, Towels & Toiletries. It has an eat-in kitchen, a sitting area with 39" SMART/HDTV & Internet Wi-Fi service, 1 full bathroom, and 1 bedroom with a queen bed. The cottage has many windows and room fans which keep it cool for sleeping nights. For those hot summer days & nights a new LG Split Ductless AC/Heating System has been added. Outside, there is a patio with picnic table for 4, lounge chairs for reading and relaxing, and an outdoor gas grill for cooking the catch of the day.

Cape Cod Bay and the Brewster Flats are only footsteps away with access to the exclusive private association beach. The Brewster flats are the largest tidal flats in North America, covering 12,000 acres across a 10 mile stretch. The soft, white, sandy, private ½ mile beach is never crowded. The Bay water is warm and great to swim in at a comfortable 65-80 degrees in the summer. The Brewster sand flats are incredible at low tide and extend for 2 miles out into the bay. This makes a perfect playground for children and adults alike to explore the tidal pools searching for small fish, shells, and crabs. It is also a great place to go sea clamming.

In the 1800's, over 50 sea captains returned to shore, building mansions for their families. Today, many are beautifully preserved inns for the public. Nicknamed the "The Sea Captain's Town" for its notable charm. The Stony Brook Grist Mill was once a hub of commerce, with the mill grinding corn and the factory village creating shoes, furniture, and fabric.

.The property is situated off of historic route 6A which is home to many charming antique shops, local stores, fine and casual dining and of course The Brewster General Store where you can get penny candy for 25 cents. It is also a short bike ride from the house to the Cape Cod Rail trail where you can ride your bike to Wellfleet or Dennis. The Brewster Whitecaps (of the premier college Cape Cod Baseball League) home field is also a short drive or walk across route 6A and is always a great way to see up and coming baseball prospects and perhaps get a signed ball by the next Big Papi.

Along with the Brewster Beach Cottage there is the 3 bedroom , 2 full bath Brewster Beach House (VRBO property listing #916878) on the property that can be rented on its own or in conjunction with the cottage for additional guests. This combination of houses offers a unique opportunity for guests to invite grandparents, family or friends to join them on vacation while having a private space of their own.

Prime vacation rental weeks in July & August have a minimum stay of 7 days per week Saturday to Saturday. Off season weeks in April, May, June, September & October have minimum stays of 4 days per week starting on any day at a reduced daily rate.

We are also right on the bike trail where you can ride from Dennis to Wellfleet, Harwich to Chatham with stops at ocean beaches and fresh water ponds along the way. Nickerson State Park is very close by as well. The Cape Cod National Seashore is a short drive away. This cottage compound offers a perfect Cape Cod family vacation. Access the private beach by a path off the back steps past the gardens.
The property consists of two buildings connected by a mutual brick patio comfortably furnished for cookouts. Care is taken so flower gardens change seasonally with annuals and perennials. The main cottage has three bedrooms and sleeps six. Across the patio is an additional building. A spiral staircase entwined with wisteria leads the way to a private room for two.

It’s right off a main drag in Brewster. 45 minutes to Provincetown, and less than 30 minutes to several other attractions in Yarmouth, Dennis or other locations. The best part - a quick 12 minute walk to Ellis Landing Beach. A quiet, classic New England beach spot where at low tide, you can walk for what seems like miles offshore. We spent several hours per day there and the family loved it!"

The bedroom has a queen bed and you'll have a separate room with two twin beds, so extra private space for kids. The eat-in kitchen has gas stove and microwave along with full size fridge. There's a porch in front and a deck out back where you can bbq and eat or relax. Escape the heat with central A/C, or have a refreshing outdoor shower when you come back from the beaches.
There's a dedicated parking space for two vehicles (tandem). Come enjoy the quiet side of the lower cape!

- "Reason for staying here: My kids were part of a large camping group who were spending the week at Nickerson State Campground. I needed to work remotely. Location: 1.9 miles from Nickerson. So convenient! You could technically use the bike path across the street to ride into the campground. Adorable beaches the kids loved about 2 miles away. Great, safe neighborhood. I returned there at night, often by myself, and the location of the parking spot to the house was very close. Overall: For work as well as vacations, I stay in rented houses so I'm picky, but this house was adorable. It's small, but if you look at the square footage you'll go in prepared for that. It's clean. It was stocked with nearly everything. Newly redone. Lots of towels. I was grateful for the little extras in cabinets that let me make coffee before I had time to hit the Shaws down the street. The best: location, cleanliness, safety, newly redone feel. People the place might not work for: The house is small and part of a little "village" of tiny houses like it. If you're looking for a place where you can sit outside, have some drinks, and be loud this isn't the spot. If you have kids you want running around a grassy yard, this is also not the spot. There isn't a ton of privacy. But if you're looking for a safe place to lay your heads for (IMHO) a really good price for the area this place was adorable. Would I stay here again? Absolutely."

This Cape Cod Cottage has 2 bedrooms, one full bath home and an equipped eat in kitchen. A comfortable living room set up with 2 love seats, 2 side tables with lamps, 2 sitting chairs, a flat screen smart tv, coffee table and WIFI. The fireplace is decorative and however, not functional at this time. Both bedrooms have freshly cleaned carpeting and the living room, hall and kitchen have new hardwood floors.
The kitchen door opens up to the back patio with a picnic table and umbrella, a nice spot for grilling dinner on the gas grill and gas is provided. The landscaping around the boundary lines are established and provide nice privacy, not to mention the secret garden where you can relax and just listen to the birds from the abutting conservation land.
One bedroom has a queen bed, dresser, closet and sitting chair, while the second bedroom offers a full bed, dresser and wardrobe. Both are pleasantly decorated in a refreshing beach theme. Comforters, blankets and pillows are provided and although we do not provide bed sheets and personal towels, we encourage you to either bring your own or, order them from one of the local linen rental service online that provide this service. Linen rental companies are available online and reasonably priced linen retailers nearby should you choose to rent or purchase these. Sheets and towels can be ordered online and delivered to the property. All mattresses and pillows have protective coverings.
The kitchen offers a refrigerator, electric range oven, microwave, dishwasher, and small appliances such as: toaster, blender, coffee maker, small processor, hand mixer, and bbq utensils, and all the necessary dishes and glassware, as well as a full stainless steel cooking set.
There are plenty of platters and bbq cookware and glassware for inside dining and plastic dishware for easy outdoor dining. A vinyl table cloth is provided for the picnic table. The second level is closed for storage at this time and everything offered is on the ground level of this home. There are 3 steps to access the home.
The Saints Landing Beach access is 6/10ths of a mile and Tuesdays and Sundays are permitted shell fishing days. Drummer Boy Park is 8/10ths of a mile away and has Sunday Concerts on the green. Kate's Seafood and Ice Cream is within 4/10ths of a mile from the cottage and has a diverse menu with lobster bisque, grill cheese, hot dogs and burgers, to some of the best fried clams, scallops and seafood!
Another optional service available to make your stay easier is grocery delivery service offered by Stop and Shop. Some other great activities within reach are: whale watching, sailing, golf, live theatre, museum, many art galleries and craft shops, and many local restaurants, coffee houses and marinas. The bike path is available so please do bring your bikes! Horse back riding stables are also in Brewster and many activities such as whale watching and shopping are within reasonable travel distance for a day excursion. There are enough activities locally to enjoy the week without venturing out.

A binder of information filled with local brochures and maps is at the property for your convenience and don't hesitate to ask the owner for information. A rental agreement that includes an inventory list and basic house rules will be sent to you after reservations have been agreed and paid. Happy Vacation Time!

- "We loved the beautiful views of the sea with the magnificent changing tides, the starry skies at night, and the convenience of walking down the stairs to a the private beach. This is definitely a destination location and we spent most of our time enjoying the deck and walks on the beach. The house provided plenty of room for my husband and myself as well as a daughter who came with our two pre-teen granddaughters for an overnight. I would give five stars but I think the bathroom could use an update (particularly the tub) although there was plenty of hot water. We plan to return next year!"

There is an amazing view from the porch's sofa and dining area. Most families want to spend their entire vacation on the porch watching the tide roll in and out. The master bedroom has a cool foam double bed. You can see the bay and hear the waves at night from your bed. The living room and full kitchen have views of the gazebo and Cape Cod bay. All the rooms are small. The 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed with full sized twin beds and a safety bar. There's a half bathroom inside. There is also a hot water private outdoor shower. It is perfect after a day at the beach. Many renters have told us they want to install an outdoor shower at home after trying it.

This porch is the best place to watch the tide roll in and out and sunset over the water and then a brilliant star show with fireflies. The beach is just down the stairs outside your cottage. The private beach is only for 4 cottages and the manager. This place is a beach walkers dream. You can walk along the beach in either direction for miles. The bay is much warmer than the National seashore and the waves are very gentle and safe. Low tide is the perfect place for young children and families. From your beach you can walk out 1 mile straight out at low tide and pick up shells from the ocean floor. There is so much to explore. Brewster is a beautiful safe posh town with great restaurants, bike trails and golf. This is one of 4 cottages. - "This is a gem of a property and contributed to creating many lasting family memories! The location is spectacular, perched overlooking a private beach (important to us during the time of COVID) with the most gorgeous sunsets. During low tide the water recedes a mile and our two children loved exploring the sea life in the tidal pools. It’s super close to the adorable Main Street of Brewster and convenient to everything while feeling private and remote. This home itself is a very authentic, simple, rustic cottage. You feel like you are taking a step back in time to a simpler way of living - no TV (but WiFi!), eating dinners on the screened in porch, watching the sun rise and set from the gazebo on the property, drying you bathing suits on a laundry line in front of hydrangea bushes. The owners were very helpful and you could tell love the property (which includes two other cute cottages). It’s not for everyone but if you are looking for this kind of experience - this is your place! We were looking for a change of scenery after five month of being isolated in our home due to COVID shelter in place orders, So it was such a treat to get a serious upgrade in our view and make memories as a family! Grateful to have had this experience."

This rental is close to the popular Nickerson State Park with some of the best hiking and biking on the Cape.
Ocean Edge Resort Spa and Gold Course is just a short drive away down picturesque Rte 6A where you can enjoy shopping in some unique shops and enjoy some of the best restaurants on the Cape. Brewster is famous for the Brewster Flats, a phenomenon created by the ebb and flow of the daily tides when the waters recede out of Cape Cod Bay over 1 mile to reveal sandbars, clam beds and tidal pools teeming with sea life. To experience this at least once a day, visit one of Brewster’s beaches. From east to west these are: Crosby Landing, Linnell Landing, Ellis Landing, Breakwater Beach, Saint’s Landing, Mant’s Landing and Paines Creek.

Sheep Pond is a 152-acre great pond with an average depth of 30 feet and a
maximum depth of 64 feet. The water is clear and transparency is very good,
extending to about 20 feet. The bottom of the pond and its 2.6 miles of
shoreline are predominantly sand and surrounded by wooded bluffs and hills
lightly developed with permanent homes. The pond can be windswept at
times due to its long axis oriented to the prevailing southwest winds.
Recreational Access
Access is provided by a paved ramp at the end of Fisherman’s Landing Rd
managed by the town of Brewster (70° 4'45.93"W 41°43'59.62"N), at the
southwestern end of the pond. Parking is available with space for
approximately 15 cars and trailers. There is also a handicapped fishing pier
adjacent to the ramp. There is a 10 horsepower limit on outboard motors
enforced by the town of Brewster. Please contact town of Brewster for
additional information and/or restrictions pertaining to public access of
Sheep Pond.
Fish Populations
The following fish species were found during MassWildlife surveys: Yellow
Perch, Pumpkinseed, Smallmouth Bass, Brown Bullhead, Banded Killifish.
Sheep Pond is stocked annually in the spring and fall with Brook, Brown and
Rainbow trout.
Fishing
Sheep Pond is one of the best trout ponds in the state due to its large amount
of coldwater habitat. The pond is heavily stocked in the spring and fall with
Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout, Brown Trout and Tiger Trout (when available).
Sheep Pond supports good numbers of holdover trout throughout the
summer. During high summer, anglers will need to get their trout offerings
down into a coldwater zone between 34 and 43 feet. Sheep Pond has
produced Brook Trout, Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Tiger Trout, Yellow
Perch, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Bullhead, and Sunfish that meet minimum sizes for recognition by the Freshwater Sport fishing Awards Program.

- "We loved our week long stay at the Citadel. The cottage is located in a very private setting, yet close to the beach and restaurants. The Citadel is more spacious than it appears; there is plenty of room inside and out to relax and enjoy the quiet peacefulness that the Brewster area has to offer. Sandy, (the owner) greeted us upon check in and made us feel welcomed. Sandy was available for any questions and made sure we had everything we needed to made our stay enjoyable- she even provided plenty of fresh bird food to keep the cardinals, blue jays, finches, and hummingbirds coming back to feed. The cottage was sparkling clean and outfitted with everything you could possibly need to have a great stay rain or shine. We loved the layout and enjoyed all the artwork and decorations. The living room is set up nicely with plenty of room to relax and simply enjoy the fresh breeze or watch TV. The kitchen is large and very well equipped; it was nice to have a kitchen table and couch by the sliding glass door to enjoy the beautiful birds, chipmunks and rabbits in their natural environment while enjoying a cup of coffee or an evening meal. The separate laundry room had nice high capacity washer and dryer which was a plus. Although we only used the master bedroom, the additional first and second floor bedrooms were set up nicely with plenty of room for additional guests. There was also plenty of room outside to sit and enjoy the quietness. The covered patio table was a great hang out and eating spot. Evolve Vacation Rental Network was also a pleasure to deal with. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and private bath. The second bedroom equipped with 2 twin beds, with a full bath just outside this bedroom. Sliders off the living room lead to the furnished, enlarged patio.

The condo is located east of downtown Brewster, right next to Nickerson State Park - a huge preserve with camping, trout fishing, and hiking/biking trails. There are also golf courses in the area, so don't forget to pack your clubs!

Our little red cottage provides a glimpse into the old Cape Cod summer lifestyle.

This 1930's 1930s-style cottage is located in the historic district of Brewster. It is a short walk to the beautiful Brewster flats where you can enjoy the beauty of low tide walks and explore the workings of the Brewster Oyster farm. The sunsets are spectacular.

Upon entering the house, you will find a bright, airy porch with a great place to have your morning coffee or relax with a good book. In the main part of the house, there is a living room with a couch, chairs, TV, and Wi-Fi. To the left is the front bedroom, with a full-size bed. You walk through the living room to the partially equipped kitchen; there is no dishwasher. And to the left is another bedroom with a full-size bed. There is a bathroom with tub and shower. The backyard has a beautiful patio with chairs, a propane grill, and a picnic table. To the left of the patio, there is a lovely outdoor shower.
As a typical old Cape Cod cottage, the rooms have walls but no ceilings. In this quaint cottage setting, everyone will share their summer vacation, and family memories will be made from these moments.

You must provide towels, sheets for 2 double beds /2 single beds, and pillows. Beach chairs and toys are available.

The cottage is close to the bike trail, the National Seashore, shopping, and antiquing.

You can watch all the local bird life at the feeders outside the kitchen window while you're making dinner! Outside, there is also a brand new outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach and outdoor dining for 4. Set some steaks on the grill and enjoy the salty, fresh air. Charming cottage tucked away but within a short walk to shops, beaches, restaurants, coffee shops and food markets. Great for one couple or singles. ok for one or two small children. There are 3 steps to get into this cottage but otherwise all on one floor. This cottage has a shower bath.

The space
WiFi password in on the fridge. We are tucked away yet close to the village center and beaches. Ocean Edge Resort is very close by. Each cottage has a gas grill and picnic area or patio. Please respect the quiet privacy of the other guests.

From mid June through the end of August or so we can only accept full week bookings. Our season begins around May 5 and ends on Nov. 1. Guests of all races, faiths, genders, and sexual orientations are welcome.

This unit is an updated, cozy cottage located on Route 6A, less than a mile to two amazing Brewster beaches (Point of Rocks and Breakwater) and walking distance to many of Brewster's amenities. This cottage has 1 bedroom with a queen bed, a TV room with 40-inch WIFI enabled TV, a pullout sleeper sofa, a kitchen, and a patio to dine or read. The property has two other cottages (also seasonal Airbnbs) and two year-round homes which all share a common area lawn including picnic area, and fire pit.

The space
This cozy cottage provides guests with a queen bed and pull out sofa. Rest and revive in your bedroom's sitting area, enjoy your favorite show or listen to your Spotify through the wifi TV. Take in the breeze on the patio with a coffee or tea while overlooking the one acre grounds, then take a stroll through our little village of Brewster before heading to the beach. Not a bad way to start a day on Cape!

The property has two other cottages (also seasonal Airbnbs) and two year-round homes on a single acre which all share a common area lawn including picnic area, and fire pit.

The unit is a summer rental only, 3 season cottage. It is only available for rent from May 1st through the end of October.

Linens: In an effort to be environmentally mindful we DO NOT provide linens. Linens can be provided for a $50 fee. Please provide prior notice.

There are 3 seasonal cottages on the property. Two 1-bedroom units and one studio. Inquire about multiple, concurrent rentals, or book via Airbnb.

Free Parking - There is only one reserved parking space per Cottage. The property has labeled parking for our seasonal and year round guests. It is very important to only park in the space assigned to Guest Parking. If additional guest or vehicle parking is required it will be off-site and not associated with the property.

Kitchen - The kitchen has the essentials to meet simple cooking needs including a countertop oven big enough to roast a small chicken and a countertop dual burner electric hotplate.

Get cozy and settle into this rustic space. Everything is here to enjoy a week on the cape in this beautiful little cottage. The beach is less than a mile away and the bike path is within a half mile. Close to the Orleans border with shops and great restaurants. Grocery store is about 2 miles. Our weeks run from Saturday to Saturday.
We supply you with linens and towels. We do have beach towels but you may want to bring your favorite towel and beach chair.

The space
Cozy cottage near to all of the best beaches, restaurants and shopping. We have plenty of comfy blankets and great heat for the winter and chilly Spring and Fall nights. We have great air-conditioning for the summer nights, or you can open the windows and listen to the birds.
There's a very cozy couch and gas grill with all of the utensils you'll need to barbeque up a scrumptious dinner after a long day at the beach.

Our cozy cottage is located within an easy 5 minute walk to a private association beach on Cape Cod Bay, a beautiful spot to walk Cape Cod Bay flats at low tide and, of course, swim at high tide. Nestled on a grassy knoll at the end of a lane, this quiet location offers privacy yet allows for easy access by foot, bike or car to local shops, services, and the Cape Cod Bike Trail. Enjoy your hours on the screened porch, relaxing and watching the birds and rabbits play in our peaceful yard.

The space
Our location is ideal..... walk north 5 minutes to the ocean, or bike south 5 minutes to the bike trail, coffee shop, book store, restaurants and more. Brewster is located centrally, a one hour drive to Provincetown and a one hour drive to Woods Hole. It's also easy to catch the ferry for a day on either Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard. Our kitchen and bath have been recently remodeled, and the bedrooms are quiet and comfy. The screened porch is great for outside meals or afternoon tea.

Our home has a queen bed in one bedroom and two twin beds in the other.

This cottage feels like stepping back in time with its classic Cape Cod weathered exterior and exposed wood walls/ceilings interior with seafaring décor.

The three bedrooms upstairs sleep 5.

Kids love the refinished bunkhouse with brand new bunk beds that sleep 2.

Additionally, a queen-size pull-out bed can sleep 2 in the main living room.

You'll have a very relaxing stay as one side of the cottage is adjacent to a nature preserve. People often spend hours unwinding on the front porch, enjoying our private beach access, and recreational activities for adults/kids.

If you're an avid reader, check out the Little Free Library (set up by the owner, a retired librarian) on our lawn!

Lastly, use our outdoor shower if you want a true Cape experience. It's a lot of fun!

(Please note: The stairs to the upper floor are steep, and the bathtub is elevated. This may present a challenge to someone with ambulation problems.)

Pets considered( $25-$200 extra fee, based upon breed and size- only ONE pet allowed) is nonrefundable and due upon arrival, as my cleaning team charges extra for cleaning after guests with pets. Please inform host of breed and weight for a quote. Private in-driveway parking. Close to fine dining, shopping and hiking and rail-trail routes. Centrally located, making all areas of Cape Cod easily accessible. We do have wifi, but, Please note: due to the proximityto the water, the wifi is not 100% reliable for "remote working". It's the one drawback to being on the beach.

For reservations commencing on or after July 1, 2019, state and local taxes of 14.45% will be collected and remitted by Airbnb as required. We don't recommend depending to "work remotely", although most guests experienceno issues. There is nothing to be done about the reliability of the signal because of the close proximity to the salt water.

This house has been in our family since 1946. It's a sweet little cottage, with a ton of privacy, especially in the backyard. It's an easy 300 yard walk to the beach.
The beach -- the famous Brewster Flats -- with its immense tidal flats is the perfect place for kids to play and explore. I should know, that was once me!
Special note: dogs are welcome!

With 2 BR's and a full bath at each end of the house, the house is ideal for a large family or two smaller families that want to share, while still having a bit of separation.

The space
Our staircase to beach is one regular flight (13 steps), a small landing, then 5 more steps to the sand, making it accessible to most anyone. We are NOT on a cliff with a huge staircase to negotiate as most of the other beachfront houses in town. There is a generous beach even at high tide. At low tide, Brewster's famous tidal flats are free to explore. The water goes out for an amazing mile, making for ever changing views. There's an outdoor shower as well for a true Cape Cod showering experience. A fire pit and Adirondack chairs in the back yard add to your end of the day enjoyment. Guests have the entire house and deck to themselves. Shared beach access and bbq grill with guest cottage. The working fireplace in the living room makes for cozy or romantic evenings in cooler weather. For larger parties, the guest cottage on the property may be booked in conjunction. Maximum guests for entire property is 7, excluding infants. We live in Brewster year round on our nearby lakefront farm. Tours of our poultry farm and cranberry bog are available upon request. Cranberry harvest is usually the last week of September thru the first week of October.

The space
Your cottage is nestled in the trees with bay views. The beach stairs are about 300 ft from your cottage. You have your own private large beach that is only for the 3 cottages and the main house. From your beach you can walk out 1 mile straight out at low tide and pick up shells from the ocean floor. This place is a beach walkers dream. You can walk along the beach in either direction for miles. Low tide is the perfect place for young children and families. The bay is much warmer than the National seashore and in the bay the waves are very gentle and safe. There is so much to explore. Brewster is a beautiful safe uncrowded town with great restaurants. All of the photos listed were taken on the property.

The Cottage:
There is an eat in porch, with dining table and chairs and a comfortable rocker and chair. The small Master bedroom has a double bed. You can see the water and hear the waves at high tide from your bed. The second bedroom has a cool foam double bed. There is a small full bath . The full kitchen has granite counters, full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, oven, table and chairs. A mini-split provides heat and air conditioning. There is a second small private porch off the kitchen that overlooks the bay and the large main house.

The Gazebo is for all to enjoy. The cottages are on a gravel dead end road. There is a large wide clean beach. When the tide is high the water will be over your head and at low tide you can walk out a mile. There is a large yard and beautiful hydrangea bushes in the summer and Montauk daisy bushes in the fall.

These are old style and simple 'housekeeping' cottages. That means that
renters bring all their own linens, sheets, & towels and leave the place
