This home is from the 1800s and therefor has some unique qualities, the main being that the second and third bedrooms are set up like a Captain's House. Meaning guests will walk through the second bedroom in order to get to the third bedroom.

We were spooked out at the basement it that’s cause we do not have basements where we live. We let the horror stories about basements get the better of us. But that lasted like 60 minutes. Haha. Little area rugs were slippery, need to have grippers under them. Also they need to be cleaned. TV for 75+ old renters was a bit hard to navigate, all appliances are new and nice, counter stools need to be reinforced. Owner is very responsive and helpful. We just soaked in every minute of the sand just outside the back door and the stunning sunsets every evening over the downtown Boston area. The surrounding areas of Cohasset, Hingham and Nantasket were great to visit (ride your bikes to Sandy Beach for the day!) and had nice restaurant options. We loved it and we'll definitely be back !!"

The Shore House is 4 bedroom, 1 bath beach cottage with an outdoor shower. All bedrooms are separate from each other with 15' foot loft style open ceilings. We feel this adds to the charm of the shore house feel!

Feel like going into the city? The ferry boat is just across the street so no need to drive, take an Uber or worry about a ride. Just hop on the ferry boat for a carefree journey into Boston Harbor in only 20 minutes!

We are conveniently located across the street from the local's favorite snack shack and the best fried clams in town!

Feel like taking a ride to the "Big Beach"? A 5 minute ride gets you to where all the action is! Nantasket is one of the greatest beaches on the South Shore, many amazing restaurants, arcades, parks and outside games for the kids, and don't forget the historic carousel!

There is plenty to do without leaving Hull in this happening beachside retreat with laidback little town feel!

- "The house was quite lovely. We were expecting 2 rooms with twin beds but there was just 1 room with twin beds. Downstairs space was great. We were surprised that there wasn’t an outdoor space to barbecue and have dinner for a group. Deck was small so great for coffee but not a meal at the end of the day. There were some beach towels and bath towels but we expected more towels. AC worked well. The 1 bathroom was small. It would have helped to at least have an outdoor shower. For the price of our stay, we expected more outdoor space for meals, more towels, an outdoor shower."

Welcome to my little cottage in the heart of Salem!

I usually rent this place in October and have a solid 5-star rating as a "superhost". But I'm going away for the summer and would love for someone to enjoy the space while I'm gone. Therefor I'm offering the place for a 3-month rental, starting in July.

This is a one bedroom home, with water views and a peaceful front patio. A fully equipped kitchen and private driveway make it feel like home away from home.

The bedroom has a queen bed, and the living room has a single (movable) cot. This place is ideal for a couple or small family.

The house is nestled at the end of a dead end road, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Salem Common is a 12 minute walk away, and downtown is 15 minutes.

This part of Salem is lovely for walking around. The house is right on a walking path that takes you to the Salem train station and has beautiful sunset views. There are more scenic walking routes on the other end of the road that will take you downtown or to the water.

Salem's beautiful and wild beach (Waikiki on Winter Island) is only a 5 minute drive, and the Salem Willows -- a lovely family attraction with old school arcades and the best lobster roll, is right by the beach as well.

Salem is lovely in the fall, but little do people know: it's an amazing summer spot too!
