The Brasswood Cottage is a two-story house located at 1 Winthrop, immediately next door to the Brasswood Inn. - "We stayed at the Brasswood Cottage, which is part of the Brasswood Inn complex yet it self-contained, so more private and lots of space. It is a two floor cottage with the bedroom / full bath upstairs and the living / dining / kitchen / half bath downstairs. Our pup also was very comfortable. The only suggestion would be to have some steps for the bed as it is quite high and can be a challenge for shorter folks like myself. The bed itself was very comfortable. "

You have just a short three minute stroll to all shops and restaurants on Bradford Street and Commercial Street. Herring Cove or Race Point beaches are a short drive away by car or by bike. You can rent bikes from four different bike shops around town. You can also walk to the bay to lay out on the beach or take a boat ride over to the lighthouse. There is so much to do in Provincetown, or you can just relax and dine in at your Private Cottage!

This adorable freestanding cottage is nestled in the heart of Provincetown's West End on Commercial Street and is perfect for one person or a couple. The layout consists of one main room, a galley kitchen and a bathroom. In the main room you'll find a full size bed, a small dining table and two dining chairs. The galley kitchen consists of a two-burner cooktop, microwave, small refrigerator and sink. The kitchen also has a coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, utensils, etc. There is cable TV and an audio system to which you can attach your iPod or phone as well as wifi. There is also an AC. The location of the cottage is at the point where Commercial Street turns residential.

There is no smoking in the unit or on the grounds. Parking does not come with this apartment but if you have a car there is a town lot close by and it's easy to find a spot if you're coming in the off season. Ptown is a walking village so you won't need to be driving. Pets are not allowed.

Note that we do not charge a cleaning fee with this rental. It is included in the cost. :)

Beautiful freestanding cottage, which allows for “Social Distancing”, in the heart of Provincetown; a quick .5 mile to town center (Commercial St.)

This cottage was completely renovated in 2019 with the utmost care and craftsmanship. In 2019, living/dining room, kitchen, bedroom, housing and fencing were newly painted.

Inside, you will find a meticulously maintained 400 sq ft home. The half cathedral ceiling with two skylights floods the interior with natural light. The kitchen has brand new 2019 stainless steel appliances, refrigerator and dishwasher. The 5-burner gas stove is from 2005 and brand new (2018) washer/dryer.

Two sets of beautiful french doors and many windows allow for circulation of fresh ocean air and an open air feel during those inspiring Ptown evenings (or privacy when it’s time to settle in). One set of french doors lead out to a 400 sq ft deck that acts as an additional living room, complete with new patio furniture, grilling station and an outdoor shower(2019). All of which is surrounded by a private fenced-in yard.

It is a lovely space to enjoy the sound of the waves at night and to get up in the morning to run the dog on the beach. - "As if Billy wasn’t enough, the cottage is absolutely perfect. Well and I mean well stocked so leave any kitchen gadget, linens and cleaning products at home. There are 4 different ways to make coffee. There is an electric kettle and all the pots, pans and utensils you could want. It was nice to not have to eat out every meal and especially nice to wake up to the smell of coffee. Something to note: The cottage is about a mile outside of town in the east end. We had bikes so it was not a problem. There is nowhere reasonable to park on Commecial Street or Bradford street without paying a substantial amount so bring your bikes or you can rent them in town. I’m saving the best for last….. Billy met us when we arrived and could not have been nicer. We had a freshly baked blueberry pie when we arrived and vanilla ice cream in the freezer. Billy was kind enough to have items in the fridge that we would need for our first night/morning without having to go to the grocery store right away. Throughout the cottage were fresh flowers, candies, nuts and so much delicious fruit. Billy goes above and beyond to make sure you are not only comfortable but truly feel like a guest. You feel special and Billy is around to answer any questions you might have. He is truly the icing on this incredible cottage cake. Do not pass on this cottage."

One block from Commercial Street, the cottage is close to everything Provincetown has to offer. You can walk into town or just around corner to swim and relax at the quiet bay beach.

The sprawling, single floor cottage has been renovated with nearly 1000 well laid out square feet that wonderfully capture the natural light of Cape Cod. The two bedrooms, with hardwood floors, are nicely separated from the living area and there is a large full bathroom between them to optimize privacy. There’s also a convenient half bathroom off the living area. The living room with vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and a fireplace has double doors leading onto a second private, fenced patio. The dining area is encased with five tall windows that overlook the garden and access to a large, totally private patio with additional outdoor dining and lots of room to relax. Our property is available for year-round occupancy. You're guaranteed a great vacation whether is during the bustling summer months, or the relaxing off season!

Our property has two bedrooms. Both are approximately the same size with queen beds. Bedding and blankets are provided for guests. They feature ceiling fans, individual air conditioning/heating units, and black out curtains to ensure optimal temperature and lighting for sleeping. Both bedrooms also feature Roku tvs, dressers, and hanging space for clothes.

Just outside the bedrooms, you'll find the full bathroom complete with vanity, toilet, and shower. Bath towels are provided for guests. There is also a hair dryer in case you forgot to bring your own.

The living room features a Lay-Z-Boy sofa with a pull-out Tempur-pedic queen mattress. There is extra bedding and blankets should you need them. There is also a Roku tv to stream all of your favorite shows and movies, bluetooth speaker to enjoy some music, and plenty of various board games for a fun night in!

Just off the living room there is a closet with a full washer & dryer. Guests will need to provide their own detergent. An iron, ironing board, broom, and Swifter are also located here in case you need them during your stay.

Our small but mighty kitchen has everything you need if you choose to enjoy some meals at home during your stay. There is a full-size gas oven/stove, microwave, refrigerator, and freezer. There's even a dishwasher so you don't have to spend time doing dishes on your vacation. A large island with barstools provides plenty of counter-space to cook up some great meals and sit and enjoy them once you're ready to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Our property continues outdoors with a private patio area providing more space for you to relax. Enjoy a meal with some friends at the dining table with seating for six. Grill up some burgers or BBQ on the grill, or enjoy an ice cold beverage that you've placed in the beverage cooler. After a nice meal, move over to the outdoor living area with an L-shaped couch with ample seating to relax and enjoy a beverage under the stars.

We prefer a two week minimum rental in the summer. This is NOT a party or event place. The space
The Cottage features an updated full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. All cooking utensils, dishes, and cookware are supplied, along with basic cooking necessities. The living room has a large sectional with a full-sized pullout memory foam bed and a TV with internet streaming channels. WiFi access is also provided. Upstairs in the loft you will find a comfortable queen bed. We invite you to relax with a good book or your favorite cocktail on our private rear deck with fire pit, or grill out and dine on the front deck. Refresh in our outdoor shower. The Cottage is small (360 sq feet), but cozy, and has everything you need for a wonderful getaway. (Please note that there are stairs up to the loft . Our home is not a good option for those with mobility issues…or sleepwalkers! Please also note the ceiling is low in the loft. )

One parking space is available. The Cottage is less than two miles from the heart of downtown. There is a seasonal bus stop next door to take you to and from downtown for a $2 fare. The walk to the beach is < 5 minutes from the cottage. If you prefer to drive or bike, you are a less than a 10 minute drive to the National Seashore beaches, including Heron Cove, Race Point, and Head of the Meadow. Rent bikes, hike the dunes, take a sail, or stroll through Provincetown to experience all it has to offer with its numerous dining and shopping options and lively nightlife. We are also a short drive or long walk to the Foss Woods Nature Preserve on the Old Colony Nature Trail Pathway.

This cozy cottage lives like two units:

The second floor has 2 bedrooms, 1 full recently renovated bathroom, a small but full kitchen and living room. Bedrooms have built in desks and free WiFi for those balancing work and play. The cottage has a deck space off the second floor that is perfect for morning coffee/tea and sundowners.

Guests will also have access to the first floor which is set up as expanded living space with a pull-out queen sofa bed, large TV, new half bathroom with laundry and newer kitchen. Please note that the cottage does not have an internal staircase connecting the upstairs and downstairs. The outside staircase pictured is used for access.

The cottage has one dedicated off-street parking space.

Other things to note
Sheets, pillows, blankets and linens are all provided for your stay. The kitchen has a full-size fridge, gas range and oven and is well stocked with pans, skillets, cutting boards, knives and more. Cleaning products are provided for guest use.

Check-in time is after 4:00 PM. Check-out time is 10:00 AM. Please strip sheets/pillowcases from beds and place with dirty towels on bathroom floor. Keep mattress pad and comforter on beds. Kindly wash any remaining dirty dishes and place on dryer rack. Please make sure that A/C unit and fans are off and that all windows are locked.

Occupancy
No more than 4 people are allowed to spend the night. Town occupancy limits will be enforced by the town.

No Smoking
There is absolutely no smoking permitted in the unit or on the grounds of the rental property. This includes vaping and any marijuana/cannabis products. Guests are allowed to smoke outside on the street, and we ask that you kindly distinguish and throw out any smoking materials appropriately (not on the ground). Violations of this may result in additional charges.

No Pets
As much as we love our four-legged friends, we are part of an association that has strict rules that pets are not allowed on the premises unless owner occupied.

Availability during the summer season (June 30, 2018 through Labor Day Weekend) is on a weekly basis only with Saturday to Saturday rentals. If a shorter stay is desired during the high season and a week is without a reservation, shorter visits can be arranged.

Due to recent changes in Massachusetts tax law, there is now a total of 14.45% state and local taxes to be applied to the rental fee. This is not yet set up on AirBnB for collection, so until that is done, the tax would be collected separately at the time of check-in. Just resisted! This adorable beach cottage is an easy walk to town and restaurants but very peaceful at night. It has a new kitchen, bathroom, and a 1/2-story sleeping loft. It is one of two cottages on a private pier over the harbor with a private deck. This is a seasonal cottage with a mini-split for heat and cooling.

Additional parking may be available in town lots or metered spaces. Provincetown enforces metered parking from April 1st - November 3rd (8 AM - Midnight). Parking is free in town lots from November 4th - March 31st.

We've been staying in Ptown for 25 years, on and off the water, and this special spot is our favorite of all. Gorgeous, ever-changing water views; lovely landscaping; charming deck perfect for morning yoga or sunset cocktails with a few friends; rustic interior that respects the historic Cape feel but with all the conveniences; cozy bedrooms; easy parking for two cars; and room for a couple of guests in a perfectly equipped studio on the property! And Eugene O'Neill slept there!
