This beautiful and restful four-season cottage near bay and ocean beaches combines the comfort and ease of modern amenities with the charm of exposed beams and natural pine floors. The building, a renovated barn, has two stories, fifteen by twenty feet, with an attached full bathroom. The cottage is now completely solar-powered. Downstairs the open floor plan has a comfortable seating area with a daybed/couch, a dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen. French doors lead to the delightful screened-in porch with table and chairs, creating a sense of continuous space, inside and out. Upstairs is light and airy, with windows looking over the back hill, gardens, and a large cherry tree full of songbirds. There is a high-quality queen bed and single bed by the windows (perfect for reading and daydreaming). The cottage is located on a large property next to a 150-year-old, cape-style farmhouse surrounded by vegetable and flower gardens. Organic vegetables, eggs and honey are all produced on the property and can be purchased when available. Situated in Pond Village in North Truro, bay beaches are just a ten minute walk down historic Pond Road. A two minute walk brings you to the village general store and two cafes, one serving artisanal chocolates made on premises. Ocean beaches are only a ten minute bike ride away. A TV, DVD player and WiFi allow you to connect to the modern world. There is basic cable, and newly-installed Apple TV with Netflix and many other venues to watch. Siren is our charming mid-sized cottage. It allows up to 6 guests to rest in two comfortable bedrooms and on a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The cottage has undergone recent renovations and has an updated kitchen, living, and dining room combination with a cathedral ceiling and double sliding glass doors which open onto your own private deck. The cottage is air conditioned and has an enclosed private outdoor shower. Siren’s design takes advantage of the property's sweeping views. The cottage is equipped with a gas fireplace for chilly evenings and a washer and dryer for use by guests.

The Shack at Lis Sur Mer is a one room open plan studio. You'll have your own full mini-kitchen with a microwave, toaster oven, 1/2 fridge, electric 4-burner range top, and a coffee pot. Your double bed and couch are surrounded by mesmerizing walls of windows overlooking the bay.

Other indoor amenities include wi-fi, air conditioning, stereo, DVD/CD player, phone for local calls, an indoor shower, toilet and sink in the bathroom.

The outdoor patio becomes part of the living area of the cottage featuring a seating area, picnic table and outdoor charcoal grill.

The Shack is surrounded by pines with a great outdoor shower facing the bay. It is located back about 35 feet from the dune. There is a seating area at the very top of the dune in front of the cottage.

The BEACH COTTAGE is located directly at the top of a dune and has a set of private stairs to the bay beach where you can experience almost total privacy. The BEACH COTTAGE has a small entry way with a sitting area for dining at an antique table that can seat 6. There is an open plan kitchen area with refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, coffee maker and all your kitchen needs. Living room area opens to the kitchen with an old comfortable couch and an equally comfortable chair that face a wall of windows on the bay. There is wi-fi, a 36" TV and DVD player as well as a Vermont Casting old fashion gas stove with glass windows for off season warmth and ambience.

For sleeping, there is a very private room that holds a custom made kingsize bed facing windows on the garden and the bay. This room has a fireplace, a dresser and a closet to hang clothes. A smaller room located at the opposite end of the cottage has an antique double pineapple bed with a bay view. There is a small bathroom with a clawfoot tub and shower. The front of the beach cottage has a private deck on the bay with reclining deck chairs.

Behind the cottage there is a very private back garden surrounded by trees and dunes with seating arrangements, a charcoal grill and a picnic table for outside dining. Additional features are a completely private outside shower that faces the bay and a stereo system that plays both in the living room and on the rear patio.

The house covered in ivy and rose vines is surrounded by olive trees, pine trees, and two century old english oaks. Lighting on the property is by antique brass lanterns.

- "Charming cottage overlooking the bay." - "My husband & I were looking for a pandemic-safe getaway for a few nights & found the perfect spot at the Beach Cottage at Lis Sur Mer in Truro. The weather was windy & cold, but the cottage was inviting & cozy. We checked in at 4pm after a delicious lunch at Fanizzi's in Provincetown. The cottage was so appealing at dusk with its flaming outdoor lanterns. We unpacked (plenty of closet & dresser space in the master bedroom), then headed down the staircase outside for a walk on the very private beach. We then grabbed a bottle of wine & our Bose speaker & sat in the Adirondack chairs atop the bluff, listening to the sound of the waves lapping on the shore. So idyllic, 'til we realized that we had locked ourselves out. We placed a couple of calls, & the response was immediate (thank you, Jane & Peter)! The gas-powered stove in the kitchen, along with the heating units in the hallway & master bedroom kept us very comfortable, so much so, that I dared to take an Inauguaration Day ocean plunge followed by a wonderfully-warm shower. The cottage is perfect, whether you want to use it as a home-base as you head out on your adventures, or if you want to just stay in & stay cozy. I enjoyed time reading & rug-hooking. The view is incredible ... I can only imagine how special it would be to stay here in the summertime with all the windows wide open! We enjoyed some great meals in P'town: dinner in an igloo at Liz's Cafe just as the snowflakes began falling, dinner in front of the massive fireplace at Ciro & Sal's, & a wonderful extended lunch at the Squealing Pig on the day we checked out. We highly recommend this property & are so grateful to Peter for rearranging his maintenance schedule to accommodate our 3-night stay."

- "We just got back from 4 nights at Fran's cottage & it worked out great for our fam of 4 (2 A, 2 Y - 9 & 11). The cottage sits above Pilgrim Beach Village cottages, but is quiet & private. We planned to cook more than we did - but enjoyed our cape activities so much we only cooked once & wound up having big lunches in P-town & then back for ice cream later. The porch was great for unwinding at night & provided extra space. The cottage has enough space for us as a base camp in between trips to Herring Cove (beach & tide pool cruising), Provincetown (Dolphin Fleet whale watching, monument & museum visit, shark conservancy, shopping, & eating), High Head beach (seal watching), & The Causeway (hike across jetty). Communicating with Fran is easy over text & any questions were answered right away. There is ample cooking supplies & utensils. There's the typical garbage bags, ziplocs & tissues, but if you use excessive amounts, bring some as well ($$$ at the cape stores). VRBO says checkout is 10 am, but it is 9 am - small space packs easy so we were out by 9. Coffee maker is a Keuring (unlike pot shown in pics). Some of the furniture is different than the pictures. We have a large truck & the parking space fit us, but if there were more cars filling the spaces, it definitely could have been a tighter maneuver. Our kids had a great 1st trip to the cape & Fran's cottage fit us perfectly!!"

- "On arrival, it was obvious that this property was exactly what we were looking for. The most adorable tiny house that had everything we needed and more! It was spotless the cleanest place we have ever stayed. Being a mere 50 feet from the shoreline was a huge plus.. we were literally living on the beach.. all the appliances were in perfect working order the deck facing the ocean was equipped with everything we needed to spend time relaxing, listening to the water roll into the shore. I have had more people ask where we were when they saw the photoss I shared on Facebook. I would highly recommend renting this home as its location was a stone throw from Provincetown and there was a wealth of things to do if you choose.. This recently renovated, nicely-appointed two-bedroom cottage is located in the desirable Anchorage by the Bay cottage colony. Enjoy beautiful water views of Cape Cod Bay and incredible sunsets from the main living area and front deck of "Anchor Daze".

Enter a stylish, nicely furnished main living space with living room, dining area and kitchen. Open and bright, this space has views of the bay, a slider to the front deck, a vaulted natural wood ceiling, skylights, ceiling fan and a ductless split unit air conditioner (note: second floor loft is not for tenant use). - "This was a wonderful property for our small family (2 parents and a four year old)! The house was very clean and well stocked with just enough necessities, but not overkill (it is so nice to rent a house and not need to bring or spend tons of money on cleaning supplies that will only be used for a week!) ACs in every room were also appreciated, and not always needed due to the wonderful cross breezes that could be achieved by opening the windows and using the provided fans. The outdoor shower was fantastic, as was the fenced-in front of the property and grill area - which came with an extra backup propane tank, yet another little touch that was so great. The grill is on the small side as grills go but very clean and easy to use. The small community was a mix of renters and owners who were all so friendly - this house was arguably the best unit in the community based on location. The community's beach access does run along the side and back of the property, so there was some expected foot traffic on weekend days, but it felt so quiet, private and secluded on weekdays. Trash pickup 2-3x per week was also a huge plus! Interior was no frills and clean with ample storage, every kitchen tool you need, and two comfortable bedrooms with queen beds. We brought our own linens as they are not provided. So great to have in unit washer/dryer! Also brooms and vacuums made it easy to clean up tracked sand. WiFi was reliable and the smart tv had access to every app you might wish to log into. The beach was a short walk away, but just far enough that it felt very safe for our young child to play in the sandy area out back, which was so fun for her. Also tons of outdoor seating, plus umbrellas and beach chairs to use. The beach itself is on the bay side, and while there were a few rocky spots it was for the most part very sandy and very fun to explore at low tide. There's an oyster farm just abutting the beach, and we loved spotting beach wildlife including crabs, crickets, frogs, and even a few seals! There were gorgeous views of the Ptown skyline at night, and stargazing in the back was great on clear nights. Very fast and easy access to Ptown by car or shuttle stop which is basically across the street. The Ptown Stop and Shop (with pharmacy) is about 7 minutes away with ample parking. Much more to do in the area than we even had time for. In all this was a fantastic rental property for a comfortable and relaxing vacation, one of the best we've ever had!"

What once was the old North Truro Post Office is conveniently located and a 5 min walk to the winery, captains choice & salty market. Walking distance to the bay, 5-10 min drive to some of the beautiful beaches of the National Seashore. Enjoy a night out in P-town which is a 12-15min drive.

Our little slice of paradise is waiting for you! The old post office is a piece of my heart and while we can't be here as frequently as we may like, we're happy to share and have guests experience the cape and fall it the way we have! The property used to be two separate buildings, the old post office and the postmasters house. In the 70s, my grandfather and his brother combined the two properties to make it the charming cottage it is today! My family has enjoyed vacationing here for generations and there is surely no place like the Cape! The space is unique, but comfortable. Small in sq footage, but roomy enough for everyone.

Upon arrival beds will be clean with mattress protectors as well as pillow protectors and a light quilt. If you don't wish to pack the linens and towels, there is a local company, The Furies, who you may rent from. There is no washer & dryer on the property, but plenty of laundromats in the area. We have basic toiletries to get guests started, but after you go through those, we ask that you kindly restock.
Bedroom layout: one large bedroom sleeping quarter with full/queen bed and a twin with trundle. Off that room is the smaller bedroom(separated by door for privacy) with a full bed. There is a window AC unit in the larger bedroom which cools for sleeping just fine

Located 12 minute drive to Provincetown Town. Guest can also take the Ptown shuttle at the end of the driveway to Provincetown. Cottage is located 1 mile from the bay and 1 mile from Head of the Meadow Beach. Dogs are allowed for a $125 fee per dog. ALL LINENS SUPPLIED (bed sheets, comforters, blankets, and bath towels). Beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach towels, and coolers also available for guests. Nice enclosed deck area with grill.

The space
Salt Air Cottages is a 12 unit association with 7 buildings. My building has 3 units- my space consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a stand up shower, a kitchen, a fully enclosed porch, and an enclosed deck. ALL LINENS PROVIDED (sheets, blankets, bath towels and beach towels). This is the reason for the higher cleaning fee. We have beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers for guests to use. We also have games. dvd's, TV's in the bedrooms and porch. Coffee maker and full kitchen. One designated parking space along with some guest parking. Enclosed deck-small dogs are safe, a big dog could possibly jump over the enclosure in one area. Outdoor cooking grill. AC and Heat. Ceiling fans in all of the rooms. Porch has Convertible Sofa that can be opened up- 33" x 77" x 28" (extra fee for use- I will provide linens and towels for sleeper couch-let me know in advance-$100 fee for extra sleeper). TV's with Streaming in bedrooms and porch. There are two cameras in interior. Unplug camera when you arrive. There is a camera with floodlight on deck. This gets video of parking area/small yard area.

This fully heated, quaint and gorgeous vacation home is truly heaven on earth, no exaggeration! You will enjoy the most gorgeous views and sunsets over Provincetown and the Cape Cod Bay.

This cozy 450 Sq. Ft. cottage has been carefully allocated to take full advantage of every inch. The bedrooms are small but well appointed and thoughtfully decorated for a simple but luxurious stay. We have 1 Queen and 1 Full memory foam bed in each bedrooms and a trundle bed (2 twin memory foam beds) in the living room. We offer high thread-count bedding and plushy towel sets and toiletries. The common spaces boast airy vaulted ceilings and plenty of windows to truly enjoy the breathtaking views and magical sunsets.

you can look forward to a quieter experience with fewer neighbors than will normally be present during the season. This is the perfect time to relax and have the beach all to yourself. We have a Stop and Shop and CVS, only a quick ride away. Looking for restaurants, shops, bars? We have those too in Ptown, a 7 minute drive away.

You are more than welcomed to make full use of the 2 kayaks available. Use of the kayaks is at your own risk and we are not liable for any accident or injury. Life vests are provided. You will be asked to sign a waiver. (Not available during the winter)

This recently renovated cottage is tucked down a private lane in North Truro, MA. With cathedral, beamed ceilings, skylights and large windows, this home has a very contemporary feel. The 1 bedroom, 1 bath space occupies one half of a two family home. A privacy fence separates the property in two, giving you a large, exclusive use yard complete with deck, patio and hammock. Welcome to Rose Cottage located at Beach Point in North Truro! This cozy 2 bedroom cottage on Cape Cod bay is just a short stroll to the private beach where you can take in stunning views of Provincetown, sunsets, and the tip of Cape Cod. A 1/4 mile away, walk, drive, or bike to P-Town or hop on the shuttle that runs along Rte. 6A. Take advantage of the National Seashore's beauty, bike trails, and visitors center just down the road.

The space
This 2-bedroom cottage has an updated full bathroom with a tub and laundry. The open and bright living room, with slider to the front deck, has a comfortable couch, sitting chair, a smart TV for movie nights, and views of the P-Town monument. The galley kitchen has a cozy banquet table and is stocked with full sets of dishware, cookware, and utensils. The outdoor patio is ideal for morning coffee, lunch under the umbrella, afternoon cocktails after a day on the beach, or El Fresco dinning under the stars.

The front bedroom has a queen-sized bed, ample closet space, built-in drawers, and a free-standing bureau to unpack all of your personal belongings. The back bedroom hosts a bunk bed with a full sized mattress lower and twin sized mattress upper plus a twin sized trundle under. Also included, built-in drawers and a free-standing bureau for personal items. Both bedrooms have window A/C unit's.

Enjoy outdoor bbq grilling located on your private deck. You will also find the outdoor shower and a storage shed for all your beach gear, bikes, kayaks, or any other personal items to store.

A year round fully renovated two bedroom cottage on the beach. Nothing but sand between you and Cape Cod bay. My place is the perfect peaceful beach vacation. The sunsets are amazing! The area is residential, so it's quiet. A quick 4 mile ride to Provincetown. There's parking on site, as well as a boat launch. No need to pack up to head to the beach - you are at the beach! Perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

The cottage has two bedrooms, one with a full bed and the other with 'full over full' bunk beds. The living room also has a futon. The cottage was renovated Spring 2017. Though the cottage is small, with the 180 degree view of Cape Cod bay it feels huge! The living room is spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped.

This is a classic family 'compound' which until now had been in same family since 1928. The original Main House was built in 1928 and is exactly what we love about old beach cottages. The main house renovated in 2014 with new bathrooms & kitchens but still maintains the charm of an old beach cottage. Vaulted wood ceilings, wainscoting, and crazy views out your private beach.

The main house has 4 bedrooms and a sleeping loft perfect for kids in the main house. Yes, this is right on the water.

Our goal was to update the houses with modern comforts but maintain all the charm and feel of being at an old Cape beach cottage. It that is what you like- this is your kind of place. If you would like the history of the cottages from 1928 the Brown family has graciously supplied a nice slice of Old Cape Cod- happy to send it your way.

There are two full baths and an outdoor shower. Gas Grill and Wifi included.

We are dog friendly and dog lovers, but to be courteous to the neighbors we limit one dog. (pet approval required)
