Little Bluff is a quaint rustic Cape Cod cottage. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. It is set back from an 80 foot bluff overlooking the picturesque bay known as Black Fish Creek. This bay is tidal allowing for swimming and kayaking in warm water at high tide and exploring the sand flats at low tide. The cottage has a patio for barbequing and a terrace on the bluff

This rustic summer cottage installed on an historic ship Captain's property in the 50's is what you picture when you dream of a holiday on Olde Cape Cod. Located at the end of a long clam shell driveway this home is situated marsh side on Blackfish Creek. Owls, Hawks, Egrets and Blue Herons abound. One of the thinnest sections of the Cape in South Wellfleet affords you bay and ocean breezes. We do not have air conditioning but we do have fans if needed. Newly renovated Kitchen and Bathroom (2017). Additional outdoor shower for the naturist in you and within 1.5 miles of Maguire Landing Beach and just 2 miles to both White Crest Beach and Marconi Beach. This 2-bedroom cottage is nestled on a wooded hillside overlooking a salt marsh in the Indian Neck area of Wellfleet. Wildlife abounds around the cottage, with regular sightings of rabbits, foxes, turtles, wild turkeys, and many types of songbirds. There are several other small cottages nearby on the hillside.

There is a large deck with a dining table that seats six, four Adirondack chairs, and a gas grill, as well as a fully-enclosed outdoor shower with hot water.

The open-plan living space has two sets of sliding doors that open up onto the deck, providing ample natural light. There is a small but well-equipped kitchen, renovated in winter 2023. Appliances include a full-size refrigerator, electric range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender and food processor. In the kitchen, you'll also find an AquaTru countertop reverse osmosis drinking water system that provides ultra clean water for drinking and cooking. A counter height table with seating for four is between the kitchen and living area. Two additional chairs are in the hallway closet.

The comfortable living area adjacent to the kitchen has a spacious sofa and two armchairs, along with a TV equipped with basic cable and a Roku device to connect your preferred streaming services. Three skylights in kitchen/living area provide extra light and open up to help cool the house throughout the day (there is air conditioning too!). Behind the cottage you’ll find an extra-large hammock surrounded by towering pitch pines.

The house has mini-split AC/heat units in each bedroom and in the main room to keep you comfortable on particularly hot or cold days. New luxury vinyl plank flooring installed in bedrooms in 2022; Pella sliding patio doors installed spring 2023.

This is a Nonsmoking , No Pets , NO PARTIES/EVENTS cottage ( No exceptions, family allergies ) It is a fully equipped housekeeping cottage. This means you should be able to locate the equipment you need to prepare and serve you own food, plus keep the house clean. Nothing you eat is provided. You are expected to clean up anything you get dirty and restore anything you move to it's original location. WE DO HAVE a Heating/AC system that keeps the main cottage comfortable. The system does not serve the windowed/screened porch so the porch door should remain closed when Heat/AC is in use. 1st floor- Living, kitchen,dining & full bath (toilet, sink and fiberglass shower), There is also an outside after-swim shower with Hot & Cold water. Both showers may be used at the same time. 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms in a loft. The stairway to the loft is shown in a photo. A safety gate is provided for the top of the steps. There is also a small night light at the top of the stairs. Walkout basement under the main part of the house is available for bike storage. There is a charcoal grill.

Welcome to this classic Patti Page Cape Cod cottage with private outdoor space and located directly across from a private portion of Mayo Beach! This oceanfront cottage offers a quaint and well-equipped escapade to experience a truly unforgettable vacation. The living room boasts colorful decor with two comfortable sofas and two armchairs near a wall-mounted flatscreen TV with cable and streaming services. You'll have a nice coffee station to treat yourself to a warm cup of coffee after coming back from the beach. The eat-in kitchen comes fully equipped with great appliances and cookware to prepare delicious meals and beach snacks. This retreat offers two dining tables, a six-person table in the kitchen and another six-person, but in a more secluded nook.

Dunes Edge boasts a beachfront deck with an outdoor dining area with an umbrella, two beach chairs, and plenty of outdoor chairs. This is a great place to hang out and unwind in the outdoors while taking in the majestic views of the beach and ocean without moving from your rental.

This home is not set up for children. It has not been child-proofed. And there is a space heater used in the bathroom.

This 2 bedroom, 1 bath cozy, rustic cottage is perfect for a small family or couple. With a small, well equipped kitchen, dining area, living room and back porch that leads to a private deck with gas Weber grill and private outdoor shower it is nicely situated on a private dirt drive. Skylights, working fireplace, ceiling fans in every room and as well as air conditioning units add comfort to this sweet spot located next to 60 acres of hiking, less than a mile from bay beaches and within a few miles of beautiful National Seashore beaches. Wellfleet is a quaint town located 15 miles from Provincetown and 10 miles from Orleans and is known for the spectacular ocean beaches and spring fed kettle ponds. The cottage is in the Indian Neck neighborhood on the bay side of Rt 6. The 3 season porch is ideal in inclement weather or if you must put in a few hours of work on your vacation.

This “charming” 1940’s cottage is just that—small @ 500 s.f. with rustic charm. It is well equipped with everything you’ll need (except for linens, though I am happy to refer you to a local service), but it is efficiently compact. It sleeps 5, but is ideal for 3-4. There are dressers and areas to hang clothes, but there are no closets, and the indoor bathroom has a shower and no tub. That said, it’s a perfect launching pad to discover magnificent outer Cape Cod!

Beds were comfortable Maureen saved the day when we arrived afte 8PM from a graduation and forgot sheets and towels. She ient us phones and locations of rental agent and places to get sheets en route to house. All were closed except TJ Maxx near her house in Orleans. We picked up full set and queen, under $20 each, and it is next to Stop and Shop so we picked up groceries just before it closed, saving us a trip the next day. Spent each day at Lecount Beach in National Seashore. Who needs more. Also, explored Great Pond, clear lake in Eastham, and ran everyday on sandy beach on the bay near Maureen's house. Wish we could have met Maureen to say thank you."

- "Basically a one bedroom house. Spacious, comfortable, near everything" - "We had a great time on the cape." - "This single-floor guesthouse sits above a garage-like storage space beside the owner's house, and comes with a private driveway, front yard, and wrap-around patio. Everything is clean and pretty well stocked (we were pleased to find some K-cups available for use and left behind some freshly bought ones as a 'Thank You' when checking out). There's a cooler readily available to take with you, as well as some folding beach chairs and beach towels. The fully-equipped kitchen is a nice feature for those looking to save some money by cooking your own breakfast or dinner. The guesthouse has central heating and cooling and has decent Wi-Fi connectivity (note that the unit's WiFi network is not password-protected---we personally logged into our own VPN service for added security). Aside from one small change concerning the lack of drapes over one of the pairs of sliding doors, this guesthouse is a hidden oasis that splits the distance from nearby towns like Provincetown and Chatham, which we also visited during our stay on the Cape."

“The North Star” cottage is situated in the scenic town of Wellfleet, known for its spectacular beaches, pristine spring-fed ponds, prized oysters and eclectic art galleries. Wellfleet, located on outer Cape Cod, is 15 miles south of Provincetown and 10 miles north of Orleans. The cottage is less than a 10 min drive to the National Seashore. It is one of an adorable, quiet, vintage 7-cottage association situated on a grassy knoll in Indian Neck; famed for Indian Neck Beaches with their peaceful, secluded vibe. Next door to the Pilgrim Spring Conservation Area, which includes 60 acres of serene hiking trails, it is also less than a 5 min drive to town and the much-loved Wellfleet Drive-In Movie Theater. Most wonderfully, our cottage is less than a mile to beautiful bay side Indian Neck Beaches!

“The North Star” is freshly painted and has new hardwood floors & cathedral ceilings with beautiful pine beams in every room. It has a newly cedar shingled exterior, and it has a mini split with heat/ac. Ideal for a couple or family of 3-4, it is small (520 sq ft) but well-equipped, with an open living/dining/kitchen area, 2 bedrooms & 3 season porch w/daybed. A private deck with an outdoor sectional & dining table for 4, Weber grill, & private enclosed outdoor shower, overlook on a grassy sloping lawn, dotted with lovely trees and a cozy hammock.

The cottage has no tv, but has a projector/large movie screen & WiFi. There are dressers and areas to hang clothes, but there are no closets, and the indoor bathroom has a small shower and no tub. That said, it’s a perfect launching pad to discover amazing outer Cape Cod!

The only negative point is the gas stove without range hood vent (unless there is one and I missed it ? ) but I brought an induction plate so I was totally fine. - "The Cottage at Duck Creek was formerly the home of a celebrated artist and world traveler, and you can see that it was well-loved. Books of every description line the rooms, artwork covers the walls, Oriental rugs cover the floors, collections from her travels are everywhere. Much of the furniture is antique, but the bathroom is fresh and new and so are the beds. And the setting -- in an expansive garden on a peaceful inlet that amazingly, is right in the charming heart of Wellfleet. It feels away from everything, but restaurants, galleries and beaches are nearby. One caveat: while I'd recommend it highly to adults who love art, reading, nature and relaxing, I think that the personal collectibles and the steep stairs make it less appropriate for families with active young children."

The nicely equipped kitchen has a refrigerator, electric range, dishwasher, microwave and drip coffeemaker. Just beside the kitchen is a dining table with seating for four.

Just down the hall from the main living area is the bathroom with shower and two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed and small flat screen TV with cable and the other has two twin beds. Both bedrooms also have vaulted ceilings.

Air conditioning: The cottage has three ductless split unit air conditioners--one in the main living area and one in each bedroom.

The cottage is one of three in the association and is set back from the other two across the lawn. There is a deck with outdoor dining table, gas grill and an enclosed outdoor shower.

Enter a nicely-appointed main living space with living room, dining area and kitchen. The living room has a comfortable loveseat and lounge chair and a flat screen smart TV with cable (YouTube TV cable channels provided by owner, stream additional content with your own accounts), Bluetooth speaker and WiFi. The nicely equipped kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless appliances including a gas range. The high top dining table seats three.

There are two bedrooms. One bedroom has a full (double) bed and the other has two twin beds. There is also a full bathroom with shower/tub.

The cottage has three ductless split unit air conditioners: one in the main living area and one in each of the bedrooms.

At the back of the cottage there is a utility room with conveniently located washer/dryer and a door to the backyard. The garage is not for tenant use.

The cottage is part of a condominium complex connected by a boardwalk that circles a small pond. There is a private deck with furniture, an outdoor shower and a gas grill. The cottage is a 5 minute drive to fantastic beaches and 3 minutes to the Cape Cod Rail Trail bike path parking lot.

My charming studio cottage with a covered deck is in a small cottage complex only 20 miles south of P-Town next to the National Seashore Park in Eastham, with the bay a mile away, the beach 1.5, and ponds all over and in between!

The space
This is a studio cottage.

It is small but has everything you need to enjoy your time.

The main room has a brand new FULL memory foam 12" mattress comfortable for 1 or 2 people.

There is a small kitchen with a fridge, electric induction burners, a small range, and a microwave off to the corner.

There is both an indoor and outdoor heated shower.

The main room opens up onto a covered deck that has an eating table and outdoor sofa to lounge on. It faces a wooded area with a trail straight to the sunken meadow trail behind the complex.

It is located in a small cottage complex right off of Route 6, just south of the Wellfleet drive-in.

I've been the owner for over 15 years and maintain a commitment when not enjoying it myself to offering an affordable well-located and well-maintained efficiency cottage in a central location in the best place on earth!

The Cottage has a Flowing Open Floor Plan with the Living, Kitchen and Dining Area Opening onto a Large 38'X10' Outside Deck with Panoramic Views of Cape Cod Bay, Great Island, Jeremy Point, Billingsgate and Wellfleet Harbor. It's a Cozy Two Bedroom Cottage with a Full Bath (stand up shower) on the Ground Floor. There is One Queen Bed in the Master Bedroom and Two Twin Beds in the Guest Bedroom. There is a Pullout Sofa-bed in the upstairs living area for additional guests. Beautiful Antique and Unique Reclaimed Teak Floors are Throughout the Cottage. There's also a Wonderful Outdoor Hot/Cold Shower with Bay Views. A Stainless MHP Gas Grill, Fully Equipped Kitchen, Internet (Verizon WiFi Hot-spot), Direct TV, Beach Chairs, Toys, Reef Walkers and Board Games are all Available for Guests. * The cottage is on Lieutenant Island and is accessible from the mainland and route 6 by crossing the wooden bridge and causeway. The causeway is affected by high tides when above 10 feet (average high tide). Add a hour for every foot above the 10 foot average. Example: A 12 noon high tide of 11 feet would have water on or crossing the causeway from 11 am until 1 pm. A tide chart with the causeway details will be included in the "welcome package".

* Waterfront Location: There is swimming off of the granite stairs at high tide, an exposed beach at mid tide and vast tidal flats at low tide for walking and exploring.

* The cottage is equipped with Mitsubishi mini-split AC/heat.

* As previously noted in description, guests are expected to bring their own linens, pillow cases and towels. If needed, they are available through a local rental agency or from our cleaners.

Stay at a classic summer cottage, in the Wellfleet woods, yet conveniently located a 5 minute drive from downtown Wellfleet. Built in 1938 by 4 women, it still has much of it's original charm. The great room has wood paneling and a cathedral ceiling. This common area has natural wood floors and a fireplace. 2 cozy bedrooms and a small kitchen and bathroom complete the scene.

The space
Nothing fancy here, but a comfortable, grounded, old fashioned feeling of rest and relaxation! This place is very rustic and a throw back to "Old Cape Cod"
It is a seasonal place and gets closed up every winter, so there is no central heating or cooling system. Fans, a small window air conditioner and a small space heater are available for your comfort, along with the natural shade and shelter of the trees. People have enjoyed this cottage for over 80 years!

This cottage is in the back, up a long dirt driveway. To get to it we have to pass through the neighbor's property. Please be respectful of their peace and privacy and proceed directly to the cottage. There you will find a welcoming, somewhat secluded, little treasure in the woods. There is easy parking for 2 or 3 cars. Arriving in daylight, if possible, is recommended because it's easier to get oriented before dark.

Our cottage has 1 bedroom with an extra bed in the attached sun-room. It is spacious with more than enough room for a couple and an adequate size for two couples or a small family. The kitchen has a microwave, oven/stove (propane), refrigerator, coffee maker, pots/pans, etc...

There is one full bath (with shower) which is accessed through the bedroom. There is also an enclosed outdoor shower (available from May - September).

You'll have access to all parts of the property with the exception of the fully detached garage.

Other things to note
We use the garage for storage and so you may see a family member access the garage during your stay. However, with about 50 ft, plus a treeline separating the garage from the cottage, you likely won't even notice! While it shares its driveway with the cottage, you'll have a separate parking area for complete privacy.

You are welcome to bring a maximum of 2 well behaved dogs during your stay, with our approval (please give details with your rental request). Please only consider bringing your dog(s) if you are certain they will not cause damage to our home, bark excessively, or generally cause disruption. You will be required to pick up after them, and sweep up/ vacuum all dog hair to ensure additional cleaning charges are not incurred.

Please note that all summer rentals (July to August) are only available as weekly stays, beginning on a Saturday, and ending on a Saturday.

Full of the classic charms of a Cape Cod summer, this is a place for gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, days spent at the beach, and afternoons of dining on the patio in the fresh ocean air.

This single-story cottage is part of the Drummer Cove Condo Association, a quiet community that sits right on the cove in South Wellfleet. It's a wonderful location for exploring, with the Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater (one mile), White Crest Beach (two miles), Marconi Beach (three miles), the town's famous drive-in (four miles), several kettle ponds, and a number of excellent restaurants and bars close by.

The space
The cottage is light and airy with many south facing windows. The bedroom feels a bit like a tree house as it sits up at the tree canopy level. The woods and sand road make for a very rural and peaceful feel yet we are an easy walk or bike ride to the village center and all the water and beach locations you could ever want.

Guests have their own separate parking area, a separate and sweet terrace and gardens, charcoal grill, outdoor shower (weather permitting). Everything is set up inside for full function living. However there is no dishwasher or microwave. There cottage is fully heated and the bedroom has a lovely, quiet air conditioner. Streaming TV, WiFi, iPod dock. All paper and cleaning products, biodegradable shampoo, conditioner and body wash, fresh herbs and spices, sheets, towels (bath, beach and kitchen) and two terry robes are supplied.

Other things to note
The hiking, walking, and biking on the old roads and trails on the Cape are a great asset and are easy to find online at Cape Cod Trails. Many historical locations are on Cape Cod for those history buffs. Whale watch trips leave McMillan Pier in Provincetown regularly in Spring, Summer and Fall. The other Outer Cape towns... Orleans, Eastham, Truro and Provincetown offer their own share of dining, entertainment, shopping and magnificent land and seascapes.

In the original 200 year old house, there are two bedrooms and powder room upstairs, two bedrooms downstairs with full bath, living room and old pantry. Built approximately 100 years ago, the “newer” part of the house contains the family room, with a glass/screened porch, kitchen, and utility room off of it. The shed across from the kitchen entryway contains items available for tenants to use, Including gas and charcoal grills, and beach toys and chairs. Enjoy the outdoor shower after the beach, with the trees waving overhead.

All rooms in the house are available. There’s no one else staying on the property at the time that you are there. The few neighbors are not very close.

Sandpiper is a three-bedroom air-conditioned cottage rented with linens and daily maid service. This cottage has three separate bedrooms- one queen bed with TV, one double bed, and two twin beds with TV. The open living area features a flat-screen TV and a comfortable eating area. Charming and comfortable 3 bedroom cottage in great location, close to all that the Outer Cape and National Seashore has to offer. Quintessential Cape Cod feel, built in the early 1900’s, with modern updates. After a day at the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower then relax and dine on the screened-in-porch. Or venture out to one of Wellfleet's fine restaurants, just minutes away. First floor consists of kitchen, bathroom and living/dining area with slider to private yard area.

The space
Cottage is 950 square feet total with open concept living-dining area on first floor with adjacent kitchen. Basic, no-frills kitchen is fully functional with new appliances (refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker) and plenty of dishes and cookware (no dishwasher). Wine and beverage glasses to enjoy cocktails on the screen porch. Sliding glass door provides natural light and access to private yard. Lovely screened-in-porch with seating area and table for dining. Bathroom is on first floor and has a stall shower (no tub). However, there is also a spacious enclosed outdoor shower.

There are three bedrooms upstairs with one queen size bed, one full size bed and two twin size beds. Please note the stairs to second floor are steep and not appropriate for individuals with mobility issues. Toddlers and young children should be watched carefully on stairs.

Other things to note
Wonderful, convenient location to explore all the beautiful Outer Cape has to offer. From the cottage, take a 10 minute walk on a path through the woods in the National Seashore to Dyer Pond. Or, it's less than a mile walk to Wellfleet's quaint Town Center with its unique shops, art galleries and restaurants. It's a short drive, just two miles up the road, to Ocean View Drive and the majestic ocean beaches. And, in the other direction, it's less than 1.5 miles to Wellfleet Harbor, Mayo Beach and the Town Pier. If you'd like to venture outside Wellfleet, take a 20 minute drive to Provincetown in one direction and 20 minutes to Orleans in the other direction.

This is our family vacation home and we have young kids so it will hopefully feel comfortable for other families to use - you are welcome to enjoy the various toys, puzzles and games that we have there. There is a pack 'n play and high chair and we can also recommend nearby options for renting baby toys/equipment. Please note, however, that the home is not baby-proofed - no locks on the cabinets or gates on the staircase, etc.

Like most Wellfleet rentals, pillows and blankets are provided, but not sheets and towels. We can arrange sheet/towel rental through a rental service for an additional fee - please let us know when you book if you need this.

Our cottage is located in the National Seashore so we must be mindful of using toxic chemicals on Mother Nature and the Cape’s natural ecosystem. Despite regular cleaning between guests, you may find the occasional ant, spider, cricket, or moth during your stay.

We recommend to bring bug spray if you will be out at dusk or after dark.

By request, we can provide a signed application for you to bring to the Truro Beach Office to get a Truro beach sticker during your stay.

Make some fun summer memories with your family in Wellfleet. This 3 bedroom cottage, located in Starfish Village, is steps away from the recently built community pool. When not at the pool, you can take a 10 min. drive to any of the bayside/seaside beaches or many places to eat. Cottage is also close to the CC Rail Trail. Amenities include BBQ, New kitchen, newly renovated Trex deck, A/C splits in all rooms, wifi, TV, 1/2 person kayaks & 1 SUP. This is the perfect home to enjoy the cape.

The permit fees are as follows: $120 for 1 week, $175 for 2 weeks, $200 for 3 weeks, and $250 for 4 weeks. - - We’ll send more detailed information before your arrival. - - Just a reminder — we are only a 10-minute walk from Fisher Beach (on the bay). If you walk or do not have a car, no permit is required.

You too can enjoy our classic Old Cape Cod cottage, nestled on the shores of beautiful Gull Pond, in the protected Cape Cod National Seashore. Swim and play from your own private beach on the pond, or relax on the deck, with dazzling natural views overlooking the entire pond.

The cottage is directly on the waterfront of Gull Pond, with a beautiful sweeping view, and outdoor stairs down to the shore.

We have two bedrooms - one with a full bed, one with a bunk bed. The upper bunk has a low clearance and is limited to children who are 6 years or older, but is not recommended for adults. There’s a foam mattress if someone in your group needs it. Maximum of four guests total, including all children, babies, visitors, etc. Maximum of three adults.

There's an outdoor grill on the deck. Even a heated outdoor enclosed shower in summer season. Our cottage reflects Cape Cod as it used to be - a relaxed, informal cozy cottage in the woods and right on the pond. No glitz, no glamour, but everything you need to enjoy the natural beauty of the National Seashore. It's very small, just 380 sf ft of heated space, plus a generous enclosed unheated porch, and a very large panoramic deck overlooking the pond. The bedrooms, living room, bath and kitchen are heated. The outer porch is not heated.

Gull Pond is a clear, spring fed, swimmable, and all natural. Water quality is tested for swimming by the town of Wellfleet at the nearby town beach, plus you have your own private beach just down the stairs from the main deck. Located on a quiet road, along the Cape Cod Bicycle Trail. Relax, read and grill on the large deck and enjoy the delightful afternoon views of Gull Pond.

Walk along protected woodland and ocean trails in the Cape Cod National Seashore. Fresh air. Bicycle. Swim. Relax. This is summer and the Cape as it was meant to be.

Enjoy the networks of protected woodland and ocean trails for walks, hiking, and biking, around the pond, over to the ocean, a real pleasure for walking and hiking, or at the nearby network of trails in the National Seashore. Go down to the ocean beach. You can walk from the beach north towards Provincetown or south towards Eastham and enjoy wild, natural, unspoiled beaches, just as they were when Henry David Thoreau walked them. The National Park Service and Audubon maintain beautiful walks, trails and waterways in the area.

Like to bike? Nearby, you'll find the far end of the Cape Cod Rail Trail, a limited access bicycle path fabulous for serious bicycling and for family outings. Ride through the sweet forests and marshes of Cape Cod on a dedicated bike trail, well maintained. In season bike rentals available at the Idle Times bicycle shop (and maybe off season at their other location - call for details).

Cape Cod is a foodie destination, too. Best in the area include the PB Boulangerie Bistro - we'll introduce you to the owner and see you're treated like returning friends. You can get there from the cottage entirely along the back roads, and it's a beautiful ocean-view drive or bike ride. There's Moby Dick's, a family-friendly fish-in-the-rough restaurant with remarkably fresh, delicious seafood, lobsters, oysters, in season. For local organic produce and fine quality fish, take home to grill, or let them steam the lobsters, there's Hatche's fish and produce in the town center, in season. Of course there's Provincetown for those who want a larger center.

After enjoying the pond, the closest ocean beaches include Newcomb Hollow, LeCount Hollow, White Cliff, and McGuire Landing. You can get a permit for all beaches in Wellfleet at the Wellfleet Pier with a copy of your rental confirmation email. Other beaches within a short drive include the National Seashore beaches.

Spring and Fall are highly recommended - reasonable rates, deep discounts for mid-week bookings, beautiful scenery, comfortable weather, and flexible stays. During the summer, we're more likely to be able to accept your reservation if you book for a full week, starting or ending abutting other guests (see availability calendar), for better coordination with our weekly guests. Other seasons, take your pick on days.

About Our Rates: Our daily rates range from low season discounted rates to a high of approximately $695 per night, depending on your dates and length of your stay. The daily rate will be lower the more days you book. To get an exact quote, enter the dates for arrival/departure, and the exact price will appear for those dates. The price per night is lower the longer you stay, and lower mid-week and during shoulder seasons. And the closer you are to peak season, the higher the daily rate. The best way to browse rates is to click to view the Calendar, where you can see the base daily for each day. During high season weekend rates may be higher, mid-week rates lower. The minimum number of nights per booking varies by date, too.

High speed internet and wifi are provided, plus a land line. Out here there are no television signals, limited radio reception, and poor cell phone coverage. If you absolutely need video, our first recommendation is bring a book, or browse our library. If you need mobile phone service, please ask your carrier about enabling Wifi Calling, which is now available on many smartphones, and will provide you mobile phone service while connected to our wifi. Otherwise, expect mobile service to be unavailable while at the cottage. Mobile phones work in town. There's a landline if needed.

Tesla EV Owners - Free Tesla Charging is available. The cottage is Solar Powered by Tesla. If you like what you see and want solar for your home, or are ready to drive a Tesla, just ask. We can arrange a referral discount for you.

You need to BRING YOUR OWN LINENS or rent from an agency as described under house rules. Pet owners please do not ask us to make an exception, as many have done. I am in the process of renovating and upgrading some of the furniture and fixtures. Some of the photos are not updated based on these changes. All closets shown have been removed to increase the size of the space, there still will be a system in each bedroom to allow for hanging.

Wellfleet is a small village on Cape Cod known for its many art galleries and beautiful beaches. The beaches and glacial freshwater ponds are part of the Cape Cod National Seashore. In addition, there is a natural harbor in Wellfleet where boats can be rented and sports fishing is available. The town has many fine restaurants and there are two summer actors theaters and a very active arts community. Another wonderful attraction is the Wellfleet Drive-In Theater which has been entertaining six generations of summer visitors.

Other Things to Note: Typically renters bring their own sheets, towels etc. That said, there are some great local companies we can refer you to that have rental linens available that can be delivered to the home for an additional fee.

Small, rustic cottage on the beach for one or two couples. Back door opens onto a long driveway to a sand road, front door opens onto a stairs to the beach. It's like a movie or book come to life. If you love The Notebook or The Outermost House you'll likely fall in love with the place. Renters return season after season, so usually we don't have to advertise it, but COVID upset this rhythm along with everything else.

The house is straight out of a romantic book, but don’t miss the front yard. It’s a beach.

Get out of the house and explore. Be respectful of the neighbors (it’s likely they’re renters too), but anywhere on the beach, in the marsh or on the sand road is fair.

Other things to note
Don’t pick up oysters or clams in front of the house, they’re the farmers’ livelihood. You’ll see them out there in their trucks at low tide.
