I couldn’t even hear them come in or when walking through the hallway so I know they were being quiet, I just think the doors to our rooms are normal doors and not really designed to shut particularly quietly. I really thought Rugosa was a special place to stay while on vacation though! Very enjoyable overall! "

This quintessential sun filled 576 square foot Cape Cottage is located in the historic Fort Hill area. The home has been fully renovated with modern design and amenities. There is an outdoor shower, screened in porch, gas grill, fireplace and central A/C and ceiling fans for the summer months. The home is well appointed in simplistic and comfortable style. It s the perfect spot for a couple or small family. Please note, the maximum guests are two individuals. Given that this is a small house, the cottage has limited closet space. There is ample storage under the beds for clothes and two areas with shelves available for guests. As much as we would love to host guests with dogs, some canines have not been well behaved at the cottage. We no longer can allow dogs or pets of any kind.
The home is a very short walk to Fort Hill and preserved uplands on the National Seashore with spectacular views of Nauset Marsh and the Outer beach. Multiple trails lead you though groves of maple, past Native American historic sites to Hemenway Landing for launching your kayak or boat.

From Mid June through Labor Day, Summer Rentals are Saturday to Saturday. Nestled In the Cape Cod National Seashore. Enjoy this secluded cottage style apartment; only 0.2 (two tenths) of a mile from Coast Guard Beach. Another mile north along Ocean View Drive you will find Nauset Light, and the Three Sisters Lighthouses. A European Copper Beach Tree welcomes you to our home and offers shade on a hot day. A rose covered rock wall gives a feeling of Cape Cod so many years ago. Guests can walk to the beach, go for hikes, bike rides, or kayak adventures nearby. The interior of the apartment has a living room with a Vermont Cast-Iron gas stove for off season warmth. Three large windows gives an open roomy effect. There is SMART TV with Antenna service. The newly renovated kitchen (2023) is completely functional and has a gas stove, microwave, and new (2023) refridgerator. The bath on the first floor includes a stackable washer/dryer. Two small bedrooms are up the narrow staircase; each has a double size bed. There are small window A/C in the bedrooms. NO air conditioning downstairs, but fans are provided. In the summer season we usually will only accept full week rentals, Saturday to Saturday. Thank you for understanding.

Very nearby is a bike trail that leads to The Salt Pond Visitors Center just a mile up the road. Here one may find natural resources and information, as well as organized canoe or kayak adventures (in season), and a great little gift shop.

The apartment is a lower level walk out: private, quiet and secluded. Renting is, 4 pm on arrival day to 11 am on departure day.Completely renovated a few years ago. Brand new queen bed, all tile floors, concrete counter tops, flat screen tv's, wifi, laundry, fully equipped kitchen, large deck perfect for grilling and chilling. Coast Guard Beach and Nauset Light Beach (ocean side beaches) are approximately two miles, and it is less than a 1/4 mile to Cape Cod Rail Trail and 1/2 mile to Nauset Bike Trail to Coast Guard Beach. Mature gardens are in bloom. Cats are welcome (keep indoors). Dogs are negotiable. We have three Persian cats--Melvin, Moses and their sister Marley--who you may see out on their enclosed "catio."

The property is meticulously maintained and thoroughly cleaned. My fiancé and I had a wonderful week here. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to make a full breakfast each morning and prep lunch for the beach. We never got around to using the grill or patio but I can ensure you it is a great spot to grill and chill. We explored the entire Outer Cape from Chatham to Provincetown, even ferried to Nantucket for a day. This location was the perfect central spot for that. We also spent two days at Nauset Light Beach which is only a five min. drive away. There was a large utility room where the washer and dryer were kept which made a great spot to hold our two golf bags and beach equipment. There was even chairs and boogie boards available there, if you forget yours!"

Look for the Guest Parking sign and the path to the entrance on the LEFT side of the house. The property is large and the Cape has few street lights so it takes a little more effort if arriving after dark. Let us know your arrival time ahead of time and we can make it easier for you.

The house is three levels with a sleeping space on each level. Enter through the main level which has one full bath, a kitchen with dining area, living room with Smart TV, along with one bedroom which has a twin over full bunk bed and an additional twin. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine on the upstairs deck, or in the yard's quiet sitting area. Upstairs is a spacious and private sleeping loft with two twin beds. On the lower level you will find another small sitting area with TV, and a master bedroom with a queen bed and full bath. The house is located on a private road approximately one mile from the National Seashore Salt Pond Visitor Center (.9 miles). There is a 2 mile bike trail to Coast Guard Beach and several short walking trails that can be accessed at the Visitor Center. Enjoy dinner and golf at nearby Arnolds (.8mile). The house is also a quick bike ride from Ben & Jerry’s(1.2 miles). Access to the Cape Cod Rail trail is available within a mile or less at two different spots. Coast Guard Beach is 2.4 miles. Nauset Light is 1.9miles. There is easy access to bay beaches on the other side of route 6. The property is located 22 miles from Provincetown and 14 miles from Chatham.

- "We had a wonderful week here! This was our second year coming to this area of Eastham to ride our bicycles to a different beach every day via the Cape Cod Rail Trail. This house is perfectly positioned near the trail (approximately a minute bike ride on gravel and just a few yards on a quiet road). The house was sparkling clean, comfortably furnished and well-appointed with all the basics you might want or need in the kitchen: stainless steel pots & pans, utensils, and even a blender and hand mixer although we didn’t use them, and even glass containers to store leftovers. We like to cook and weren’t sure what we’d find so we brought a few things of our own “just in case", but the only thing we unpacked was our 12” cast iron skillet and our serrated knife. The house has a wonderful deck and outdoor shower. The house also features luxuries like central air conditioning and cable TV, which we didn’t use but were nice to have! We were able to stash our bikes in the underneath garage during downpours which was incredibly handy. One final note: We are sensitive to air fresheners and artificial scents and because of this rental cottages are always a crapshoot. We were so thrilled that the hosts didn’t use plug-in air fresheners! The laundry (sheets and towels were provided) did have a faint scent, but it was tolerable. My only feedback for the hosts - and true for all VRBO hosts - would be to consider switching to an unscented laundry soap."

This light-filled and welcoming cottage is perfect for small families or two couples who want a quiet space close to everything! Located in the heart of Eastham’s Historic Town Center & steps to Salt Pond and the National Seashore Visitor Center and a short bike ride to the famous Cape Cod Rail Trail. Only minutes to many of Cape Cod's most beautiful beaches, Coast Guard and Nauset Light on the ocean, and beautiful Cape Cod Bay beaches like First Encounter and Campground Beach. (In July and August we rent Saturday to Saturday only.)

We have mini-split heat and AC units. There is a unit in the main living area and each bedroom has a separate unit with individual thermostats for your comfort.

Both bedrooms have high-quality queen-size mattresses, pillows, and linens (including towels). A pull-out coach is available for larger families, but linens are not provided for this. The bathroom includes a shower and tub and a washer and dryer. Enjoy the modern decorations and finishes or spend your time outside using the outdoor shower and dining space for four on the deck abutting a natural wooded area great for bird watching. The house is about a quarter mile from the rail trail which is family-friendly and leads to many attractions and eateries. The house is nearly across the street from the entrance to the Cape Cod National Seashore, a few miles from a number of bay beaches, and only a bike ride away from the Great Pond. Though this requires a pass during normal day hours, it’s available to anyone on bikes (or you can purchase a pass).

Saturday check in Only. Our Home is located in North Eastham, just off of Route 6, and access to Wilson ave. is also possible avoiding route 6 and following herringbrook to Massasoit to aspinet road. Wilson ave. is on a sandy road, minutes to the bay beaches, national seashore, and bike trail. The home is new and beautifully furnished with air conditioning and the outdoor area is perfect for enjoying a meal afresco on the deck in the evening. On cool nights enjoy our new cast iron gas fireplace with a good book in your hand. There are three rooms for sleeping. Two bedrooms have queen sized beds and a newly built sunroom has two comfortable daybeds for lounging and reading during the day and a perfect sleeping area at night with two twin beds. The living room is equipped with tv, DVD, Netflix, Hulu, etc. WiFi signal works throughout the property to lounge outdoors in the hammock on your laptop or phone. The kitchen is equipped for all your cooking essentials for preparing meals at home. A grill for outdoor cooking and lots of seating areas outside to relax with nature. Enjoy our hammock area while you watch the sun setting in the western sky and listen to the birds as they settle in for the night. Stroll through the stunning perennial gardens after a cool outdoor shower while the grill is fired up for dinner!

The privacy of the yard was an unexpected plus with use of Adirondak chairs around a fire pit, a charcoal grill which we used a lot, and a table with umbrella set on the traditional shell patio you expect on the Cape. The gardens were well tended and the outdoor shower flowed bountiful and hot. The setting grants immediate access to the bike trail right on the Wellfleet town line making for an easy ride to either Nauset Light Beach or Coast Guard Beach. The hub-bub of Province town is only 20 minutes north on Rte. 6. Two competing ice cream parlors, two nice markets w/ a sandwich shop and a bike rental shop are all within just minutes down the bike path. This Eastham ground floor apartment offers our guests a quiet, serene, secure location surrounded by beautiful gardens, set back off a secondary road while within a mile of Orleans center. Within walking distance to bay beaches and bike trail. A short drive to ocean beaches. The floor plan is open, airy, and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen. Do to Covid we ask that you bring your own sheets and towels, we do supply pillows and blankets. We book our July and August rentals for 7 days from Saturday to Saturday. - "My Mom and I had a very nice stay in this spacious feeling downstairs apartment. It is very clean and comfortable with enough area for more than the two of us. There is one portable AC which made it comfortable when we put it on after being out for the day. There is a ceiling fan in the queen bedroom and a portable fan in the twin room (also close to the A/C unit) and we slept well.The location suited us well. It is close to some of our favorite beaches (National Seashore & Bay), a grocery store and other shopping, yet sets back on a quiet, private road with woods and marshlands on either side. The sounds of the birds outside were very relaxing.We enjoyed visiting with the couple who own the property and live in the house across the driveway through the trees. Although we did not need assistance, they were available at any time and were very kind in leaving my Mom flowers for her 89th birthday. - "We spent one week at the “Newly Renovated Charming Beach Haven” and it exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival we walked straight to the beach right down the street where we enjoyed a magnificent sunset. What a special spot! Since a beach sticker is required, the beach is very peaceful and we encountered hardly any other people there. On our way to the beach we were greeted by dog walkers and people tending to their gardens and felt very welcome in this quaint neighborhood. The house looks like a quintessential Cape Cod cottage with a beautiful deck where we enjoyed our breakfast. Inside it is more spacious than it seems in the pictures. The fully equipped open floor plan kitchen provided the option to cook meals when we didn’t want to go out for dinner and we simply enjoyed spending time there. The downstairs primary bedroom felt peaceful and we slept very well. Attached, the small bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom were also spacious and everything was clean. You can really tell that the owners paid close attention to details and decorated the house with much love. The location is ideal for exploring the outer cape as well as other parts of the cape. We would definitely like to come back soon! "

- "We absolutely loved our stay at Bay Breeze. The house was clean, spacious, well equipped and so close to all the things we love to do at the Cape. We were walking distance to many bay beaches and a quick drive to the National Seashore and so close to many restaurants. The hosts were very accommodating and reached out to us to let us know the air conditioning wasn't working properly but they had installed a window unit and if we had any problems to certainly reach back out. I was worried at first as we were travelling with our dog but everything was just fine. The house was the perfect temperature and everyone was comfortable. Speaking of comfort, the beds were 10/10!!! This is a great place to spend your days on the Cape and I highly recommend it. I can't wait to go back and hopefully book this home away from home again!"

This pet-friendly 3 Bedroom, 2 full bath home sits just on the Orleans / Eastham line. This home boasts a long deck with sweeping views and plenty of outdoor seating for dining and lounging on the deck. The home overlooks a beautiful salt marsh that changes with the light throughout the day. The main living space of the home features a newly-installed ductless-split air-conditioning system; the 3 bedrooms have window-mounted AC units.

The main floor has a beautiful living room with flat screen TV and vaulted ceilings. There are water / marsh views from this room, the sun room and kitchen as well as the entire deck and the upstairs bedrooms! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything for cooking. It has handsome marble counters and a breakfast bar with high top seating as well as a kitchen dining table. In the next room is a full dining room with seating for 6 plus there is additional outdoor dining for 6 on the deck with a gas grill. There is a stereo with speakers throughout the ground floor of the home for you to enjoy as well!

There is one bedroom with 2 twins on the main floor as well as a full bath with stand up shower. Upstairs you will find 2 more bedrooms each with a queen bed and views of the marsh. There is another full bath with a tub/ shower combo on this floor. Plenty of room for a few cars in the driveway.

The 1840 Captain Freeman Dill house is located in central Eastham with a beautiful inlet/ocean view. It is an easy drive to Coast Guard National seashore ocean beach, Nauset Light National Seashore Ocean Beach, beautiful bay beaches as well as fresh water ponds. Convenient to Orleans, Wellfleet, and Provincetown. Cape Cod bike trail is also nearby. A/C. Outdoor hot/cold shower only! Two nights are required for weekend bookings. check-in is at 4 pm. check out 10 am.

The space
There is an outside patio with views of the inlet. You are welcome to relax and enjoy the entire downstairs of the house as well as the outside spaces. Please note the house is located on a busy road. The room is cosy, but because of the position of windows and closet, the beds are narrow twins. The dedicated air BnB bathroom is a half bath. There is only an outside enclosed hot/cold shower for your use.

The 1840s Carriage House has been beautifully remodeled. The first floor has a living room, dining area, kitchen, and powder room with washer/dryer. The backyard deck has seating for four and a Weber gas grill. Upstairs, the large, elegant bedroom features a king-sized bed, sitting area, reading nook/twin bed, writing desk, and ensuite bathroom with shower. The half acre property offers beautiful gardens for you to enjoy and a delicious outdoor shower.

The space
The living room has a sectional sofa with pullout double bed, a smart TV, and fast internet. The powder room on the first floor includes a washer and dryer. The kitchen is well equipped and we’ve tried to think of everything you may need but we do not have a dishwasher. There is a private and inviting deck outside the kitchen with table and chairs, an umbrella, and a Weber gas grill in a garden setting. You are welcome to enjoy the gardens throughout the whole backyard and we'll look forward to seeing you out there. Our outdoor shower is a summer feature we enjoy using and invite you to enjoy it too. There's lots of hot and cold water, soap, shampoo with fresh breezes and exquisite privacy.

Just up the stairs is a large and stunning bedroom with a new king-sized bed, an ensuite bathroom with shower, a cozy sofa, a beautiful old leather-topped writing desk, and a magical reading nook which will delight children of all ages. This getaway has been created with love and attention to detail so that your stay will be a pure delight.

You'll have the Carriage House all to yourselves but if you’d like to join me in the garden, I’d enjoy getting to know you. I often like to gather for tea or a glass of wine in the garden or on the screened porch and would enjoy your company.

Recently renovated three bedroom, two bathroom Cape-style home on the oceanside of Eastham.

Located on a quiet cul-de-sac with nearby access to the Cape Cod bike trail. Coast Guard and Nauset Light beaches are also close by.

There are hardwood floors, updated bathrooms, new appliances in the kitchen, and a new washer and dryer.

Each of the three bedrooms and the living room/kitchen area have A/C units.

The space
Coastal Calm offers the perfect backdrop to make countless memories on Cape Cod. Located in bucolic Eastham, you'll find easy access to both the Cape Cod Bay, and the beautiful National Seashore, all without leaving town. In fact, get your flip flops ready, because award-winning Coast Guard Beach and Nauset Light Beach are just a short bike ride away.

You'll enjoy this recently renovated, three-bedroom, Cape Style home located on the oceanside of Eastham. This very nice home is tucked away and quiet with nearby access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail. If you're not familiar with this bike path, it runs a great deal of the length of Cape Cod.

If you're ready for a bite to eat, or an exciting game of mini-golf, both are just a short walk or bike trip away to Arnold's, despite the home's location in a exceptionally quiet neighborhood where you'll hear little more than birds chirping, or the ocean churning on certain quiet nights. The double cul-de-sac at the end of the neighborhood is great for walks and family bike rides.

Adding to your comfort indoors, there are hardwood floors throughout the house, updated bathrooms, new appliances in the kitchen and a washer and dryer.

You will sleep soundly in any of the bedrooms, which boasts recently bought mattresses and beach-inspired decorating. There is a first-floor bedroom with a queen-sized, memory foam bed and two bedrooms on the second floor. One of the second-floor bedrooms has a pillow-top queen bed and the other second-floor bedroom has two twin beds. In all cases, your comfort is our priority, and all mattresses and box springs are sealed with high grade, hotel quality enclosures.

On those days when the summer heats up, you'll stay cool and comfortable as each of the three bedrooms and the first floor living area and kitchen area are cooled by well-functioning air conditioning units.

The second floor boasts a recently renovated, oasis-like bathroom that is calming, providing a wonderful extension of the seaside environment with driftwood-inspired tile flooring, a tub/shower combination, and modern, updated finishes throughout. If showering under the sun (or stars!) is more your preference, a private, enclosed outdoor shower is also available which has both hot and cold water.

You'll enjoy lazy days on the exceptionally large deck at the back of the house, where the chirping of birds and the quiet tranquility creates a peaceful surrounding. You'll also cherish outdoor meals at the table and chairs, which accommodate six, as well as a propane grill, complete with side-burner for steaming your favorite sea food.

If the view from the front of the house is more your goal, a comfortable bistro table for two awaits your company on the front porch. This is a great spot to enjoy the calm environment, whether you're enjoying a morning breakfast, afternoon beverage, or an intimate dinner.

With all to do outdoors, you may not need them, but many indoor entertainment options are at your disposal. You can cheer on your favorite team with our expanded cable TV package, log in to your favorite streaming apps with Roku boxes on all TVs, choose to build a puzzle or play a board game from the expansive options in the game cabinet, or simply pick the perfect beach read from our library. There are three flat screen TVs, all with Xfinity cable access and DVD players, plus, you care really test your skills using the foosball table in the finished basement. Think of the fun you'll have!

Top make your stay complete, and limit your need to pack bulky items, the house is equipped with:

- Outdoor yard games, to pass the time and get a bit competitive

- A beach cooler, to help you chill

- Two "pack-and-play" sets for infants/toddlers, when the kids need some rest

Permit available from the Town of Eastham for shellfishing. Great location only a 3 minute drive to Fort Hill, 5 minutes to National Seashore Visitors Center and 9 minutes to First Encounter Beach. The property is comprised of two dwellings: a single-level main house and loft apartment, offering privacy for groups and families traveling together. The main house features two full bathrooms, two bedrooms and a beautiful open living space with picture windows overlooking the backyard and Town Cove. French doors open onto the spacious and newly refinished back deck with umbrellaed dining table and gas grill. Surrounding trees offer shade and privacy, and you will enjoy very pleasant breezes from the water! The path to access Town Cove is just a quick walk through the backyard. 

The loft apartment is a large and sunny space with ensuite full bath and private deck with outdoor seating to enjoy a book and morning coffee. A very tranquil spot to unwind and listen to the sounds of nature! The loft also has a small kitchenette area with mini fridge and sink, as well as central AC to keep the space cool on warmer days. The garage area below the loft is available for your use and will have basic beach gear for your convenience. 

This place is a truly tranquil setting to relax and unwind from the day-to-day. Launch your kayaks for a peaceful morning paddle on Town Cove, rinse off in the outdoor shower (fully enclosed with hot and cold water) after a day at the beach, and enjoy meals out on the deck with the cool breezes. Linens (sheets and towels) are included and the property has a new washer and dryer for your convenience. The kitchen is well-equipped for meals at home, and nearby restaurants are plentiful if you wish to venture out. Downtown Orleans is 5 minutes away by car and Wellfleet center is about 20 minutes to the north.
