Downtown Falmouth is only a couple of miles away and has lots of restaurants and shopping. The harbor, restaurants, pubs, boutiques, Falmouth Farmers' Market, Cape Cod Baseball League Games and Thursday Night Town Band Concerts are all in town as well.

In addition, more Cape Cod destinations are a short drive or a ferry trip away. Take a mini road trip to Provincetown for a full view of Cape Cod or hop on the ferry at the Steamship Authority to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket. Located in one of the most popular areas in Falmouth, our rental is on a cul-de-sac just 2/10 mile from Surf Drive Beach. The walk to the beach is flat, quick and very easy; esp for children. Less than one mile to Main Street with many shops and restaurants.
You'll appreciate the sun from the southeast exposure. It invites you to start your day with a cup of coffee on the deck or end your day relaxing with your favorite book. Use the lobster pot, get your favorite drink, put your feet up...it's your vacation.

This historic home is newly renovated (and just listed on VRBO) to its original finishings with modern and beautiful upgrades. The house is sunny and bright, with large windows and lots of natural light. A perfect spot for a family to easily walk into town (.25 miles), ride on Falmouth's Shining Sea bikeway (just a few feet from the house), and visit local beaches. The two bedrooms sleep 6 people. There is a full dining room, a comfortable living room, a reading nook, and a spacious back patio with a table and grill. (Outside shower too!)

All spaces are bright, clean, and newly renovated. The house feels roomy and welcoming with beautiful touches in the living room (with a large smart tv), dining room, kitchen, reading nook off the kitchen, and lovely upstairs bedrooms. There are two full baths- one upstairs and one downstairs, and full laundry on the first floor. Linens, bath towels, and beach chairs are provided. I loved waking up in the morning and taking a walk to grab coffee and breakfast. I have a 10,15 and 17 yr old and they really enjoyed the home and it’s location. Not only are there restaurants,coffee shops and restaurants but there’s also a park and on Sunday night they had live music. They also have adorable gift shops. There are several beaches that are a 10min drive but you have to pay for parking so keep that in mind. The overal best surprise was when we went for a bike ride on the trail and it led us to such a beautiful beach. We ended up going there every night and met such sweet people. It was just weird being only separated by a thin wooden door… the biggest issue was that the parking spaces were pretty far from the guest houses in back & lugging all our stuff that far was a drag. There was another group moving into the other guest house by ours & she was pretty upset too. I found a wagon along the building & started using that, then we shared it with them. Add to the distance, the yard was a lake from all the rain! Also, we were supposed to have 2 parking spots, we only needed one but sometimes we came back and there were no spots left so we parked on the grass? I was also disappointed that there was no quilt or comforter on the bed. It was pretty cold in there, luckily the heat worked really well & there were blankets in the closet. The only other thing that may be an issue depending on your size (I’m small, my husband is average) but the shower stall is SUPER TINY! Something to consider if you’re a larger sized person. It was cute, clean & well equipped & I’m just trying to be as transparent as I "

The living room is comfortably furnished and is also very light and airy with its many windows. There are two bedroom both with new Beautyrest firm mattresses; one bedroom has a queen size bed while the other has a kingsize bed. . Our two beds can comfortably accommodate four guests and a fifth guest may be accommodated as well: we have a quality electric twin inflatable mattress which is high off the floor. If your goal is to only sleep in the room then it is well designed, but if you plan to stay for more than two nights, and spend some of your time in the room reading and playing games, then you will be disappointed. There is a small fridge but there were no tools for preparing a picnic lunch- no knife, no cutting board, no strainer, no washcloth or dish towels for cleaning up. The room sleeps four but there were only three plates. This is a room for sleeping only and you should expect to eat all your meals out. This probably works for some people but didn’t fit with how we prefer to travel. However, spending time on the patio was very nice. "

- "My partner and I and our 5 month old baby stayed here for a week for the 4th of July and would stay again! A major positive for us was the location! The beach is a quick 8-10 minute walk, the ferry is a 5 minute walk, and downtown is a short drive away. A few other details we really appreciated were the updated appliances, the cooling system worked amazingly, and the home was really well equipped with everything you could possibly need- from all free clear unscented laundry detergent to decaf coffee. Jamie also went out of her way and brought over a pack and play and a high chair for our baby girl which was super thoughtful! Our only complaint was the property did not yet have WiFi despite it being listed as an amenity. It didn’t seem like a big deal at first but as the week went on, we realized how limiting that was, e.g., no tv, no baby monitor. A couple things worth noting if you have small children, the home is on a road with moderate traffic thru out the day/night. We used a sound machine to counter the noise and it worked great. Secondly, the home gets a ton of natural light in the bedrooms. We bought portable black out curtains on Amazon to help our little one sleep during the day. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would book it again! "
