Join us in our charming treehouse , above a free standing 2 car garage. Your entrance is a 14 x 26 mahogany deck with outdoor seating & grill. The outdoor hot-cold shower is tucked under access stairs. A full sized washer/dryer for your exclusive use. Laundry is near the entrance stairs. The tree house interior has a Queen bedroom with Ikea daybed & sleeper loveseat in living room. Bath off bedroom . Dog friendly fees apply. The space
This is a charming space for a small family or close friends . We request that non related friend groups be over the age of 24. You will enjoy easy access to Cape Cod National Seashore Beaches of Coast Guard, Nauset Light or Marconi with an easy drive to points further. Eastham has many Cape Cod Bayside beaches. First Encounter, Campground and 20 minutes by car to Provincetown. Our neighborhood abuts Cape Cod Rail Trail. The trail is accessed by turning left off driveway to end of the street. After the bend between 3rd and 4th houses on the left is the utility easement bike path access trail leading directly to the path. To your left is Wellfleet to your right is Nauset Road first stop leading to Nauset Light beach or continue on to points to Eastham or Orleans.
Backyard has a shared Bocci /horseshoe court with shared fire pit to relax .
A private firepit for treehouse is in front yard. Firewood is self purchase. Parking for 3 cars owner lives on site part time or may rent main house . Each house has its own amenities and private gathering spots. Private laundry. Pet friendly one dog allowed . I am charged an additional $75 per stay cleaning fee by my service when hosting owners with dogs. I will bill you the Pet fee $75 through the request funds feature in the Airbnb App. before arrival. I welcome your "attended at all times" furry family member. Your dog is to be to registered, current with shots and be treated for ticks and fleas in advance of your stay. The Cape is notorious for ticks. We treat our dogs year round due to the tick population. Your dog needs to be crated when you are not in the apartment. Bring your own crate. There is a day kennel for boarding less than 10 minutes away. if crating your pet is not an option. Nauset Kennels. Make reservations.
Pets are allowed leashed on the National Seashore Beaches and before 9am and after 6pm on the Eastham side of Rock Harbor Bayside beaches! Dogs don't do well on the hot sand or sun so please consider your pet when you bring them on your vacation. Dogs may not be left unattended in cars in the beach parking lots by local law. I also have enzyme pet cleaning supplies available if you have an accident. Please let me know if you have a shy or non social pet as my Australian Cobberdog , Nauset visits the property regularly with me. It is not necessary that they interact! Dogs must be leashed at all times again by local law. Bring your own poop bags and leave them wrapped by the stairs to be discarded in the trash bin with your last trash bag out at departure.
We are close to Wellfleet Drive in and many Eastham, and Wellfleet dining options. The neighborhood backs up to the Cape Cod Rail Trail and provides easy bike trail access. There is room to store bikes in the shared toy garage space or to leave them secured under the deck.

Guest access
Guests will have exclusive use of the treehouse garage apartment . Internet is high speed 300 download speed suitable for streaming and video conferencing inside or on the deck. The TV is a Roku Smart tv so you can stream your own music or shows. Apartment is fully furnished with dining both inside and out. The trundle can be made up as singles or a double bed , a love seat sized sleeper sofa and memory foam mattress bed. Microwave and four burner gas stove and oven. Drip coffee maker toaster and blender full sized fridge.

Other things to note
I provide clean linens, bath towels, and beach towels as a courtesy. Most Cape rentals are bring your own.
Guests are responsible for washing, drying and folding all linens and towels used during your stay before departure. This can be a several hour commitment before 11:00 am departure and needs to be planned properly. Generic Laundry detergent is provided.
If you prefer not to bother with linens and laundry, we have a local delivery service where bedding vacation items may be rented locally called The Furries in Wellfleet or you may travel with your own linens and towels.
Housekeeping is on a very strict schedule during popular beach months.
They can not be left with unattended linens and towels due to your lack of planning.

We are a small bed and breakfast with two comfortable bedrooms that will accommodate up to 4 people total. Located in the historic district of Eastham, our lovely B&B has the flexibility to offer something for everyone. Our spacious B&B is full of light and has the seaside flavor of Cape Cod. We are just steps from the Cape Cod Rail Bike Trail that carries you to either the spectacular beaches of the Cape Cod National Seashore or the tranquil beaches of Cape Cod Bay.

The space
We offer a hearty continental breakfast in our eat-in kitchen but have so much more to offer. Soothe yourself in our outside shower to feel refreshed after a hard day at the beach. Relax in our lovely landscaped yard. Enjoy our gas fireplace in our luxurious living room on chilly nights. Enjoy your private hall bathroom with tub and shower. Current pricing applies to two bedrooms and includes breakfast. For those traveling with 1-2 people, you may rent one room at 100.00 less per night. Please include this in your request or see our other listing. We have a comfortable living room with a gas fireplace, TV, and a high speed wireless Internet service. We also have a lovable boarder terrier. He is not allowed in guest rooms but if you leave the door open he may pop in for a quick visit and steal your socks but he is very sweet:) Summer activities are endless. Whale Watch (April-Oct) or shore whale watch year round. Seals rest on our beaches and frolic in our waters year round. Spring and fall are the best time for birding since the cape is a major fly over for migrating birds. A winter beach walk is amazing especially after a recent snowfall. September is our favorite month to enjoy the cape at its finest. We still have the summer beach weather but the crowds have gone. The air is more crisp and the tranquility after the summer rush is soothing.

Guest access
You are welcome to use our entire home, outside deck and yard. We have a private suite upstairs just for us. You are welcome to use our eat-in kitchen, the microwave, toaster-oven and fridge. We are a B&B and our town licence does not permit guests to use our oven or stove top, but breakfast is provided.

During your stay
We enjoy socializing with our guests but also do our best to provide you with as much privacy as well. We try to be available to answer any questions you have but if not, we can easily be reached via text at anytime.

Other things to note
We have a sweet 50 pound boarder terrier named Pancho who is super friendly and lovable. We love Cape Cod and take pride in our bed and breakfast. We love to see others enjoy their time here.

Tucked away in the newer part of the Rugosa, the Captain’s Quarters is one of the oldest rooms on site. This is a spacious room, built in 1751 and relocated from Wellfleet, has a beautiful, antique, four-poster king sized bed with a private bathroom, deluxe jetted jacuzzi tub, closet, mini fridge, fireplace and AC. A bay window allows for plenty afternoon light.

*TV and WIFI are available in every room. We are set up with ROKU to offer Netflix and select channels through Xfinity streaming.*

This eclectic property has undergone many transformations in recent years under fresh, new management. Entirely redecorated, this traditional, antique New England home has been transformed with colorful paintings, folk art, found objects and houseplants.

We are a small family run guest house and sometimes are not available to meet everyone at check-in. If we cannot be here to greet you, we will leave an envelope at the front desk with your room key and directions to your room.  We currently offer complimentary coffee and tea, but hope to be able to offer other breakfast options again in the future. We do not offer 24 hour services at this time, however we are usually close by for guests checking in, and always available by phone.

Visitors of the Rugosa are welcome to enjoy the spacious backyard and patio area, lounge in the great room, utilize the dining room for nights where you just want to escape the crowds and stay in, or join us in Chuck’s Lounge with our newly renovated self-service donation bar. We are offering complimentary coffee and tea, but hope to be able to offer other breakfast options again in the future. With many great restaurants and cafes in the area, guests may choose to eat out or enjoy take-out in our public dining room or outdoor patio. Guests are often pleased with the location of the Rugosa, as it is near many loved attractions such as Nauset Lighthouse, Marconi Beach, the Cape Cod Rail Trail, the National Seashore, many gourmet restaurants and shopping.

Other things to note
We are proud to be a pet-friendly property! We are a house full of animal lovers and understand how special it is to be able to bring your pet along. We can accommodate visitors with well trained and well mannered dogs. We are located along busy Route 6, so we recommend that dogs be kept on a leash at all times while outside. Inside the house, dogs may have free-range, but we ask that you do not leave your dogs unattended in your room. If your dog is left unattended, and there are complaints from surrounding guests, you will be financially responsible for their stay as well. 

Up to 2 dogs per room. The cost is $30 per pet per day, regardless of length of stay. You must clean up after your pet or be subject to an additional charge of $100.00 per clean up or damage. 

We have a two house dogs, Luna and Rosie. Both are sweet-natured Rottweilers who are known to hang out in the gardens or the lounge and are very good with other dogs and children.
