- " Charming little place. Well, big for a B&B. The breakfast was amazing. Service was impeccable, and the place was spotless. I was highly impressed yo find a fitness suite in a bed & breakfast The hosts were most welcoming - they didn't want us to leave ! The private accommodation is part of the main house but has a separate entrance from our garden. It is a compact area of 23 sq mtrs....(250 sq ft) with a King sized bed in a private bedroom. The separate living area has a convertible couch to give a 4ft 6 ins ( 135 cms) wide bed. Up to 4 people can be accommodated . Privacy curtain surrounds the couch bed.
Children under 2 stay free.
Extra charge of 30 euro pppn (after 2 adults). The area is heated.

This rustic space is a tastefully converted stone-built stable building. It is bright, clean, and comfortable but, by virtue of its traditional construction, it is emphatically NOT a sterile, hotel-like, environment and will not suit guests expecting same. Every effort is made to ensure cleanliness however life forms such as small spiders may emerge from time to time. These are harmless and, in themselves, clean. We are available to deal with them if asked to do so. However guests for whom spiders may be problematic should not book.

The apartment is exclusively for the use of guests. An orchard with outdoor seating is available for use by guests where they will be left undisturbed.

Originally a two-bedroom farmhouse, the current house has been extended to a charming four-bedroom cosy spot located in a quiet and peaceful setting.

The large garden and surrounds make an excellent place to unwind, location is a great base to explore The Wild Atlantic Way on both N and W Mayo, Sligo and Galway, fishing, cycleways, walks, museums, pubs and restaurants.

Knock Airport is a 10 minute drive, Boyle & Castlerea train stations approx 15 minutes, Bus in Ballaghaderreen is less then 10 minutes drive.

There is small step outside French doors in kitchen. Additional step at the side of the house in the direction of the well, it is highlighted in white.

Pets are very welcome. I would ask guests to refrain from having pets on furniture; likewise, that owners have bedding and/or carry case for pet. Pets cannot be accommodated while guests are not here.
