Where there is a basic welcoming basket with bread, eggs, salt and pepper. There is nothing of the sort here. There were a lot of rules posted around that seemed a bit much compared to the condition of the cottage. The beds were not comfortable, but the bedding looked newer. There was an electric carving knife, but no hair dryer. There is no dishwasher, but there was a washer/dryer combo. The drying rack upstairs was broken, but there was a clothes line outside. The patio chair was broken, but the picnic table was nice to sit at. The weather was wonderful during our stay. The couch just needs to be replaced. The coverings they had on it didn't stay in place and was also stained. The fireplace was nice and we had a cozy fire one evening when it rained. The communication via texting was great and offered clarification on the information posted. It seems to be outdated. It was also nice to have someone to contact for questions on the area as this was my first time staying in this part of the country. The condition of the property is sorely in need of some attention. If you are wanting something more refined, you may not be happy here. If you can live a few days with a worn, outdated property, you might just love the peacefulness from sitting outside listening to the birds."

The space
For those of you who enjoy a cosy cottage on the waters edge, this house is ideal for you. It is perfect for a couple looking to get away from it all.
The bedroom has a double bed and en-suite with endless hot water and a great shower. Bed linen and towels are provided.
The small kitchen is well equipped and has all the essentials needed.
Light the stove and cosy up on the couch and listen to a Wild Atlantic storm roaring outside, or on a beautiful evening, sit out and enjoy a glass of wine on the patio as the sun sets behind the mountains.
The mature gardens lead directly to the waters edge where if you are lucky you might meet the friendly local seal or otter.

We have two lovely little dogs, Lill and Phoebe who love meeting new people and are free to roam around the property. Unfortunately we cannot except service dogs as our dogs are not friendly with other dogs.

This cottage is a fine place to spend your holiday. The home has a beautifully-maintained garden full of flowers and other plants. The cottage has an inviting seating area with a wood-burning stove; a great place to relax. The cottage has a beautifully-maintained garden that you can take in from the terrace. It is located next the owner's home. The charming town of Kenmare is less than a 7 minute walk away.

Oil and electricity are extra and are charged on usage.

Casey’s Restaurant & Pub, Kenmare Bay Hotel with Leisure Centre and swimming pool are just 300 meters away.

Granny's cottage is attached to our own house but is a complete home on its own. with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom and living area.
We overlook a beautiful lake near to glenveagh national park.
Pets are welcome, we have a dog and cat on the premises.

There is on site parking and we have a small enclosed play area for our 2 year old which could be used by guests also.

Kilmacthomas is a quiet rural village and car-parking is available within a short walk on Main Street. As the property is situated on a small lane terrace, there is no parking available directly outside the cottage.

Nestled within the Slieve Bloom mountains, Lacka Lodge is new to the market and has recently undergone complete refurbishment. It is situated on the grounds of our family home where peace and tranquility come naturally to this area.Kinnitty is in the heart of Ireland and is little over an hour from Dublin and Galway. It is a day trip from all other cities. Locally you can enjoy fantastic walking and mountain bike trails which are only one minute away and also lead you to Kinnitty Castle.

A one bed cottage with combined kitchen and dining area. The cottage has a spacious toilet with separate bath so guests can unwind and soak after hiking or biking in the Slieve Blooms. We also offer a private outdoor area with seating and shed for storing bikes and gear.
The property is only 4 minute drive from Kinnitty village. Also has a designated work station for those travelling for work related matters.

Located 2km from the colourful village of Eyeries on the Beara Peninsula, The Stable is a 1 bedroom self catering cottage on the grounds of Cappa House B&B. From its stunning stone wall exterior to its cosy interior you will fall in love with this recently converted farm building.
Ideal for singles or couples The Stable has an open plan light filled kitchen/living and dining area with stunning views over Coulagh Bay and even the Kerry Mountains in the distance.

Le Petit Cottage is a cosy 2 bedroom cottage in a prime location just 1 KM outside of Killybegs. Perfectly suited for a small family or for 4 adults. Situated just 2km from the blue flag Fintra Beach, le petit cottage is the perfect base to explore Donegals Wild Atlantic Way and is equally suited for a quiet, relaxing break.

Accommodation consists of one double room and a twin room with 2 single beds. A travel cot and high chair are available upon request.

A stay at Snugborough is a writer or musicians dream or indeed if you are looking to simply unplug, unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet and the beauty of nature at it's best.

Guests who stay at Snugborough Farmhouse have access to the mature gardens and surrounds. Avail of the wrought iron reading bench nestled snugly underneath one of the sprawling rhododendrons or the slate loveseat who's backdrop is a 250yr old tree with untainted countryside beyond.

Other things to note
Snugborough Farmhouse is a no Wi-Fi zone. We encourage you to unplug and unwind during your stay. Though if needed the mobile service in the area is generally very good.

Animals are always welcome at Snugborough but we ask that guests abide by the house rules of keeping furry friends off beds and seating.
