Our house is an ecological oasis in the middle of the city: we do not utilize any poisons and we do not fumigate not to interfere with the regular cycle of the pollinators visiting our garden.
We try to limit the use of plastic so if you want to go for groceries you can ask for a reusable bag and you can borrow it from us.
We do not use chlorine but only vinegar and bicarbonate to protect the environment.

You can use the kitchen if you like to cook, and enjoy your meals sitting in the garden.
We like you to feel at home and feel free to move in the house like in your own house. If you need any advese about how to move around, what to visit and what to do, we are available any time to help you get the best of our beautiful city and its beaches.

Other things to note
We are at walking distance from the center, about 20 minutes.
If you like quiet I suggest you go to see the best sunset at our local beach, 3 blocks away. If you go early in the morning you will probably see the dolfins who live in the bay... they are easy to see when they are hunting for food.
If you are an animal lover our house is the right place: we have 4 friendly dogs who love to meet new people and play.

Casita La Capilla is a well hidden peaceful place in a subtropical garden. Enjoy the seclusion and safety of its high walls. Iguanas love to sunbathe on top.

You'll see cardinals, humming birds, owls, doves and woodpeckers in the garden. Visiting roadrunners make the dogs go on wild chases.
Casita La Capilla is home to 7 sweet and kind dogs. A lot. But the property is the size of one city block - so most likely you won't see much of them. If you don't like doggies running around, Casita La Capilla is not for you.
Do not bring your own - it won't work out.

Shouldn't need to mention it, but Casita La Capilla is super clean with sun dried bed lines and towels. Crisp air conditioning for the warm summer days and a heater for the fresher winter nights.

Casa Chulo is our newly-built, modern Mexican-style guesthouse on our property "Villa Perras Saladas". Villa Perras Saladas has two casitas/guesthouses: Casa Chulo and Casa Rela. Casa Chulo will be your home for your stay, while Casa Rela is normally the casita where Randy (my husband), our three lovely dogs (Chulo, Rela and Bella) and myself stay. Casa Chulo and Casa Rela are two separate buildings that share common spaces such as the outdoor dining/BBQ patio, outdoor shower, laundry room, and garden. Both Casa Chulo and Casa Rela also enjoy their own private outdoor spaces such as ground-floor dining patio and a rooftop patio.

Casa Chulo is a fully equipped two-level loft, with a private en-suite bathroom. The bedroom has a very comfortable king-size bed and a full-size dresser that will accommodate all your gear and clothes without problems. The en-suite bathroom comes with a spacious shower that will definitely meet your water pressure requirements. In the lower level, the kitchen, dining and living area form a comfortable unique space. The fully-equipped kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, 2-burner induction stove and a hot/cold water dispenser. The living room has a comfortable one-person sofa bed and a 50 inch smart-tv with a bluetooth-enabled sound bar.

Last but not least, both Casa Chulo and Casa Rela have high-speed internet, perfect for those working remotely!

In addition to Casa Chulo, our guests will share common areas such as the outdoor shower, BBQ & dining outdoor patio, laundry room, and backyard/garden with my husband Randy and I.

Moreover, we have three amazing dogs: Chulo, Rela and Bella. They are normally hanging around the property, thus we require our guests to be dog friendly. We will, of course, be very mindful about the interactions between our guests and our dogs, keeping them inside and away from the private spaces of Casa Chulo. That being said, it is possible that the dogs will interact with our guests in the common areas.

Other things to note
My husband Randy and myself are both biologists and have been living in Mexico for the last 5 years. We are both avid divers and mountain bikers, and we will be more than happy to organize/guide excursions for you...just ask!

In addition, we provide our guests with beach towels, a beach umbrella, and two sets of snorkeling gear so you can enjoy the wonders of the Sea of Cortez without having to worry about packing or renting gear.
