Namaste Barn is a very special place. Guests unanimously comment on the sense of peace here. The host Jo lives in the main Barn. Jo is a yoga and mindfulness teacher and she has her own separate studio here. Jo offers the airbnb in the separate dwellings of the Cabin and the Stables.
The Cabin can sleep upto 6. There is an additional charge for more than 1 guest. The gardens and land spread over 5.5 acres sitting on the top of the Devon hills. Guests are welcome to enjoy the garden and the fire pit ( There is a charge for logs). The Cabin also has its own decking veranda.

The brick built larch clad Cabin is finished to a high standard, inviting you to have a cosy and comfortable stay. The beds are deliciously comfortable. We've provided refreshing toiletries for you to pamper yourselves and thick soft cotton towels for a little luxury.

We ask for no children under 12. There is an deep wildlife pond.
We are sorry but no dog guests. We have our own Golden Retriever and he loves all folks on two legs but struggles with those on four legs!
He is a darling, he will be delighted to greet you! Please know he also understands when you want space.
Flynn is not invited into the stable or cabin. If you love to stroke him, be aware he shares his fur!
Our cat is a love. He is incredibly gentle and loves his tummy tickled. He too will be delighted to meet you. He loves a lap to snuggle on.

Our Faverolle hens Luna, Ruby, Rose and Kerfuffle are dears. They wander and warble. Luna will be the hen that approaches you. She was an ‘only chick’ so loves to connect! She does this by pecking at your shoe as her way of saying hello !(It's like a hen 'high five!' She likes to be stroked too.

Yoga and Meditation. It is possible to arrange a private Yoga or Meditation session with Jo by prior arrangement and subject to availability. There will be a separate charge for this. You can check out Namaste Barn Yoga Studio online so get a feel for Jo's Yoga.

St. Elmo Lodge is a wonderful base for exploring beautiful South Devon and Dartmoor National Park. A luxurious and spacious holiday home with a fabulous cedar hot tub in the outdoor entertaining area, a fully enclosed garden, and reverse level living space showcasing the stunning views.

The space
St. Elmo Lodge is a luxurious, newly renovated 5-bedroom holiday lodge set within the 4-acre grounds of the owner’s home and provides contemporary accommodation for up to 10 adults* and 2 children. Peacefully located within the hamlet of Woodland, near Ashburton on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park, the property enjoys beautiful views of the local countryside and across to Dartmoor.

Approaching the property along the sweeping driveway, guests will love the tranquil & picturesque setting and it is perfect for a rural escape, but within easy reach of all that South Devon has to offer.

Laid out in reverse-level style to take advantage of the views, head down 3 steps and enter via the ground floor where there are three bedrooms, each furnished with a zip & link super kingsize bed (can be setup with twin beds if requested). The first bedroom has an en-suite shower room and the other two share the family bathroom. Upstairs, the stylish living room looks out to the countryside and is well furnished with a cosy wood burner, a 60-inch Smart TV with Freeview (incl. Netflix), Sky Plus, an Xbox, DVD player, a guitar, bluetooth speaker and two large corner sofas, one of which is a double sofa bed that can comfortably accommodate two guests. The kitchen/dining area is a brilliant space for preparing meals and has sleek quartz surfaces, two fan ovens, an integrated steam oven, built-in microwave, dishwasher, American fridge/freezer, induction hob, Nespresso coffee machine and a slow cooker. In between the kitchen and living room is a study area, a WC and a laundry cupboard housing a washing machine & tumble dryer. Bath robes & spa towels have also been thoughtfully provided for all adult guests

The two-bedroom family suite on the first floor is accessed via the kitchen and is perfect for accommodating two adults and two children. The main bedroom has a super kingsize bed with an en-suite shower room, leading into the second bedroom which has a single bed with a pull-out trundle bed, a wooden cot and an en-suite bathroom.

On the landing, there is also a study desk should you need to get a little work done, and the property boasts fast and stable 4G Wi-Fi.

Outside is an enclosed garden with lawn and raised patio area, a lovely spot for relaxing in the sunshine or al-fresco dining. Complete with outdoor seating, an 8/10-seater Riviera cedar hot tub and a Chesney woodburning stove/ with integrated barbeque. There is a large cantilever parasol for outdoor dining/hot tub.

Here you are within walking distance of a good local pub. The nearby hamlet of Woodland is conveniently located halfway between Exeter and Plymouth and the property is a 10-minute drive from the charming town of Ashburton full of Georgian architecture, quirky shops, restaurants and pubs. Ashburton is known as the "Gateway to Dartmoor" with its tors, rivers and rugged landscape and is also an ideal base from which to explore the whole region from moor to sea with fantastic scenery and opportunities for walking, canoeing, fishing & golf. Take a short drive towards the coast and discover the pretty South Hams, with its fabulous beaches, river estuaries and rolling hills surrounding the lovely old towns of Dartmouth, Totnes, Kingsbridge and Salcombe. Other attractions nearby include the English Riviera, Kent Caverns, Paignton Zoo, Plymouth Aquarium, Crealy Park and Woodlands Park.

Guest access
St. Elmo Lodge is in a rural location, and the use of a car is recommended. The lodge is on a gated property, and guests will be given a unique 4-digit access code for the duration of their stay, which will open the main gate and the front door to the Lodge. There's parking on site for 4 x cars, with more space available on request. Electric car owners will have use of a 'type 2' 7kW charging point, by prior arrangement

Other things to note
* We'd recommend that occupancy is best suited to 10 guests (up to 8 adults plus 2 children). However, there is a double sofa bed in the living room so, if desired, an additional 2 adults or children could readily be accommodated. In this event, the study table on the landing between the kitchen and the living room could be used for additional indoor dining space

All 3 of the ground floor bedrooms have super king 'zip & link' beds, which can be separated to provide 2 x 3' single beds in each of these rooms. Please advise us of your preferred setup in advance of your stay
