Come to a comfy place surrounded by nature, tranquility and beauty. We are close to shopping centers (Dadeland and Sunset Place Malls) and walking distance to a family park, convenient stores, a pharmacy, bus stops, and the University of Miami. The Metro rail South Miami station is 1 mile away, walking distance is 20 minutes. Our place is good for families (with kids) too.

The space
You will find a spacious place with a nice view to the street, a full size bed and a full size futon. A desk to work. You will have a small fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker. A dinning set and utensils. You will also have a nice full bathroom for yourself. No kitchen available. No TV.

You may hear ocasional barking because we have two Labrador dogs and a Maltesse that are all very friendly .

Enjoy ducks, iguanas, lizards, squirrels, turtles, and big trees in our safe neighborhood.


In addition to the central air conditioning, the studio has a new air conditioning on the wall in case you need extra cold air. In the morning, when we are out, we tend to raise the temperature level of the house.

Guest access
You will have independent access to the studio using the gate on the left side of the house (facing the house).

Other things to note
Although you will NOT share your space (totally independent room), the studio is attached to our house. This is a family house with children. All rules of decency and good manners should be followed.

We DO NOT have TV. We do not have Stove.

There is Freebee ride system is that will take free anywhere in the city of South Miami.

The space
Studio with private entrance in South Miami. Separated from the main house, but we share an adjacent laundry room. We provide lots of towels, pillows, linens and extra blankets. There is a very small kitchen area with a mini fridge, microwave oven and coffee maker. There is no stove, oven or dedicated kitchen sink, so it is not suitable to cook in. Very safe neighborhood and pleasant setting . The studio is very clean, bright and feather free. Max 2 adults as the space is small, with a king bed and a small folding work table for 1 person. The studio is not suitable for young children.

Guests have the studio, adjacent yard with table and umbrella, and shared laundry room.

Other things to note
This bedroom (which is setup with a king bed) is disconnected from the main house and has its own bathroom. It is a very comfortable room with cool AC, a dresser, small folding desk and small fridge. It is separated by a door from a small kitchenette area that has a microwave oven and coffee maker. This small kitchenette opens out with a garage door and does not have a dedicated air conditioner to it. In the main house, we have 3 small friendly dogs. You won’t be able to hear them, but they may come out to greet you if you’re outside. If you are uncomfortable with dogs, please let us so so that we can keep them away from the patio and entrance area. Thank you.

Sweet Dreams Lakeside Cottage is a separate private guest house for complete living. Located on a beautiful lake in a quiet private upscale neighborhood near University of Miami, Coral Gables and downtown South Miami. The private back yard on the lake is like a mini Resort, tranquil, relaxing and romantic, complete with Tiki Hut and a Hammock for 2 and the High Speed WiFi works outside also. Conveniently located near a Metro Station, Shopping, Beaches, Restaurants and attractions.

Cottage is a separate building. Guests have a private entrance, parking and full access to the Back yard area with tables, chairs, lounge chairs and Hammock under the large Tiki Hut. Several large decks, dock, waterfall, Romantic lakeside benches, Bar-B-Q, and Fire Pit area . Full lighting at night and fish in the lake ...

We understand the concerns with the latest updates on the Corona Virus and wanted to be proactive with some details and reassurances about our property and services.

First some positive benefits …
We are a small property vs a large hotel with tons of un-monitored traffic.
Our Cottage is a separate building next to our house and we have good communication with all our guests prior to their arrival. We like to treat them like family when they stay with us.

The Cottage was recently remodeled so all appliances and furnishings are up to date.
I do all the cleaning myself and always take extra care using disinfectant cleaners and wipes to clean. We will be taking extra care on all touched surfaces with the new updates as well.
We also have a new special air purifying device that uses ultraviolet light rated to kill germs and virus in the air. And of course we supply soap for hand washing during your visit.

In addition you can check our on line reviews and see we have always maintained a continuous five star rating for sparkling clean.

I hope that gives you additional information to answer any concerns you may have.

Florida is wonderful this time of year. Beaches are open and we have lots of sunshine and fresh air and outdoor spaces to take advantage of while you are here and just relaxing out back by the lake under the Tiki Hut is also a great experience.

We do suggest you check your flights and travel schedules as we are aware that some schedule changes are taking place.

The space
Casita Bella is a charming, detached cottage nestled in the peaceful backyard of our property. This cozy, one-room retreat features a comfortable queen bed, a twin air mattress (stored in the closet for extra guests), and a dinette seating 4, perfect for meals or work. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare your favorite meals, and the spacious walk-in closet provides ample storage. The bathroom includes a step-down entry and a shower (no bathtub). For your convenience, high-speed Wi-Fi and free on-site laundry are provided, ensuring you have everything you need for a relaxing stay. Casita Bella offers the perfect combination of comfort, privacy, and convenience.

Guests have full access to Casita Bella and its surrounding outdoor space, including a patio table and grill in the backyard—perfect for enjoying meals or relaxing outside. You are also welcome to use the shared laundry area for your convenience. Please note that the deck off of the main house is not for guest use.
