We invite you to stay in our old Spanish guest house with modern details for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Best of all, it is in the heart of the city! We take pride in making our guests feel at home. We are about a 15-20 minute drive from all major attractions (Calle Ocho, Miami Beach, Wynwood, Coconut Grove, Airport -10 mins) You are also a short walk to downtown Coral Gables for shopping, dining and entertaining.
The space
You will stay in an Old Spanish detached guesthouse with a private entrance built in 1924. The space has been updated to an open concept making it feel bright and airy.
There is a living area, dining area, full kitchen with a fridge, microwave, stove and oven. Please note that coffee and tea as well as basic condiments will be provided. There is a bedroom that has a pillow-top queen sized bed, two closets, a 32" Smart TV and a full bathroom with a rain shower system. The bathroom has a door for privacy. In addition, the living room has a sofa that converts to a sleeper for two adults with it's own smart TV for viewing. It is like having a second bedroom. The space has central Air conditioning for climate control.
You will also have access to your own outdoor garden with table and chairs to dine.
We offer complimentary pool/beach towels, cooler bag and beach accessories for you to enjoy the Miami Sun!
Our place is centrally located in one of Miami's oldest neighborhoods.

Guest access
The entire space described under "the space" section above is available for you to make yourself feel right at home. It is a non shared guest house and will be all yours to enjoy!
Please note: We have a covered carport that has a ping pong table which is also available for use but this is shared. There are also two bikes that can be used when available but please ask for availability before using.

Please be respectful of the space.
Laundry facility is available if needed but it is not in the guest house. There is no washer and dryer in the space but there is one available on the premises for a fee.

Lovely Spanish-style 1 bedroom 1 bath guest house in the historic Coral Gables neighborhood of Miami. The unit is newly-renovated and is completely detached from the main house with a separate entrance.
**PLEASE NOTE: As seen in the photos, there are steep, narrow stairs up to the unit. Please make sure you are comfortable with this before booking.
The space
One bedroom, one bath renovated unit with a lot of natural light. It is on the second floor of a Spanish-style home built during the early development days of Coral Gables. The apartment has it's own AC unit, and provides ample room for one or two guests. Queen-size mattress. Includes fully-stocked kitchen, walk-in closet, washer/dryer. Newly updated floors, kitchen, paint, roof, and impact windows.
The property is quiet and peaceful. It is surrounded by vegetation, including fruit trees.
Coral Gables is known for it's historic Spanish-style architecture and tree-lined streets, being one of the first planned cities in the United States. It's in close proximity to shopping, restaurants, night-life, and the Miami International Airport, although planes do not fly overhead. Golf course within walking distance. Other parts of Miami are reachable in under 30 min by car if no traffic.

Access along the side of the house. Private stairway that leads up to the apartment on the second story.

Other things to note
**Please read carefully**
- We are currently only accepting guests with prior (positive) Airbnb reviews
- Please lower volume of any gatherings after 10pm
- There is a steady internet connection but no TV.
- Outdoor video camera/video doorbell at location.
- There is air conditioning and a space heater.
- Ironing supplies and hair dryer (in a box) are in the closet
- The stairs to the property are steep and somewhat narrow. Some bricks on outdoor pathway are slightly elevated. Must be comfortable with these to stay here, and must be careful when walking on the walkway/stairs to avoid safety issues.
- There are two friendly dogs on property, but spend most of the day inside and will not be accessing your space.
- There is a lot of natural light in the space, but there are blackout curtains that can be pulled over the blinds.

The Coral Rock Village has five historic single family cottages set among lush tropical greenery in Coral Gables. The Village is four blocks from the Granada executive golf course and tennis courts and the local country club. It's close to the beautiful Venetian Pool. Only 5 minutes to downtown Coral Gables and 30 minutes to downtown Miami. The airport is 10 minutes away.
The space
Currently available is Cottage #5 a one bedroom single family home with a back yard. It has new impact windows, flooring, AC, bathroom and full kitchen and counter area. Fully furnished with dishes, towels, and all the elements to live comfortably. Ideal for longer term for one or two people. Pets considered. Plenty of parking and you can walk to the store (Publix).

All site gardens, rooftop sun terrace, neighborhood parks, golf course 3 blocks away. Laundry on site with lots of parking.

We love living here. It's magical. The Coral Rock Village has to be experienced. You'll be glad you did.
You can go swimming in nearby Venetian Pool which is on the National Register of Historic Places

The space
We have 2 beds, 1 king size and 1 queen size. And a sofa. People, must be requested in advance and we charge an additional 60 dollar fee after the initial 4 people. I require documents and email from everyone. Thank you.
Other things to note
Our studio accommodates up to 4 guests with 1 queen-size bed, 1 king-size bed and an L-shaped sofa. It includes 2 work tables, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, toaster, sandwich maker, dishes and cutlery. Enjoy super-comfortable mattresses, linens and towels provided in a privileged location.
