The studio is a private self-contained space on a quiet road in Whitstable, but only 10min walk to the high street and all its wonderful shops and eateries, and a 15min stroll from the beach. The Co-op is nearby for groceries. This is an ideal location for a seaside getaway.

The space
This is a light and bright but cosy studio flat, suitable for a solo traveller, couple or small family (travel cot and highchair are available on request). The studio contains the bed, small sofa, dining area and kitchenette all in one room, with a separate toilet and shower room.

The accommodation has a separate entrance to our home. Please be aware that we have a young family at home and we make use of our garden in good weather, which is adjacent to the studio.

Guest access
There is free street parking available. The train station is under 15 minute walk. There are local buses if needed, but most of the town is walking distance.

Other things to note
There are some basic amenities included, such as teas, sugar, olive oil, salt and pepper. Towels are also included in the stay.

There are two local co-working spaces that offer day passes if you need to work remotely during your stay - The Hive and The Workers' League.

The Whitstable Pearl is a private self-contained studio flat on a quiet road in Whitstable, but only 10 minutes' walk to the beginning of the high street, and a 15-20 minute stroll from the beach. Whitstable is full of independent shops, cafes and restaurants.

The studio includes a king sized bed, HD TV, dining area, well-equipped kitchenette, shower, toilet, plus there is also a private patio garden to enjoy.

The space
This is a well equipped studio flat with its own entrance and private patio situated next to our family home. The space has been carefully renovated and designed to a high standard, to create a comfortable and relaxing stay for our guests.

The space consists of a main bedroom area containing a king sized bed, with luxury mattress, vintage G Plan chest of drawers and hanging space for clothes, a 32" HD TV, and an armchair for extra seating. The headboard and bedside tables have been handmade by ourselves, and use LED lighting. The walls have been finished in a limewash paint for texture and warmth. The flooring is made from cork, which is very comfortable under foot. The windows have been finished with either a privacy blind and curtain, or blackout blinds, to ensure a good night's sleep.

There is a small but well-equipped kitchen within the space. You will find a combi-oven and electric hob to cook from, plus a kettle, toaster and small fridge-freezer. You will find some basic provisions including tea, sugar, olive oil, salt and pepper. There is a dining table for 2.

A newly fitted bathroom is located at the back of the studio, which includes a toilet, large sink, and walk in shower, plus underfloor heating.

The studio space is heated and cooled with an air conditioning system which you are able to control to your needs.

Outside the front of the studio is a private patio garden with table and chairs, to enjoy the evening sun in.

Please note that the maximum height of the ceiling is 198cm (6'6") and in the shower the ceiling is 186cm (6'1").

We have a travel cot and high chair available on request for stays with a young child. If you have older children, please enquire about other options we have to accommodate you.

This is your own studio and patio for you to access and make use of.

Other things to note
The studio is adjacent to our family home and although it is completely separate, we do make use of the side entrance to our house and in good weather we use our garden which is to the back of the property. We also have a lodger that uses the side entrance gate for access as well.

This property is ideal for guests who want a quieter location and don't want to be right in the centre of town. It's a very short walk (10 minutes) to the high street, and about 15 minutes to the beach.

To reduce our environmental footprint, we launder the sheets and towels at home, and the towels are not tumble dried.

The 36 sqm (387,5 sq foot) spacious cabin is bright, relaxing and decorated with many quirky treasures I have collected over many years working with Interiors. It benefits from having its own cosy fenced off patio area with table and chairs. Front garden access with key box access for your convenience, if we are not around to check you in. The building is fully insulated with electric shower and heating for the winter month. Fully lit garden path with a low step.

Guest access
The Cabin is situated in our garden and is very private, not overlooked directly by us or neighbors. It has a private Patio area belonging only to the Cabin. There is side access to our garden and the cabin through garden gate at the front of our house.

Pear Tree Lodge has recently undergone a complete renovation. The property is self- contained from the main house with underfloor heating throughout and mid-century decor. There is a pretty garden exclusively for guests .Keys can be left out so guests can let themselves in and maintain their privacy, we will be on hand should you need anything. The property benefits from its own quiet shale driveway with off street parking. The lodge is a 15 minute walk to the beach, town and the train station.

The space
The Lodge has been refurbished for comfort and luxury with parquet flooring throughout. It has a King-size bed with Egyptian cotton sheets. There is also a double sofa bed in the sitting room. The sofa bed would sleep one adult or two children.There is a dishwasher, micorwave combination oven and hob. Should you want to bed in for the night there is a 40 inch television with Netfilx and IPlayer.

Our home is a contemporary build and were short listed in 2018 Build It Awards. We are surrounded by farmland , have easy access to Whitstable , Canterbury with bus stops 100 meters up and down the road, train station is 2 miles away and main roads 500 meters away. We are 1.5 miles from Whitstable and 2.5 miles to the beach. Whitstable has become a very popular quirky town, with lots of places to eat, great little shops and walks. You have your own entrance with lock box for key and parking.
