- "Beautiful property and sweet little cabin with everything you need. This was a lovely place to get away from our daily hustle and bustle and unwind for a few days. We didn't want to leave!" - "This was our first experience glamping and it won't be the last. The pods are tucked away on the mountain, very private and quiet. You get to enjoy the wind sounds as moves through the trees. The accommodations are quite frankly better even than they looked online. They are very neat and clean. There is plenty of heat in the camping pod and the wifi was great honestly. The shower pod was warm also and there was plenty of hot water. Very in clean in there also. The little fire pit was great to sit around, or for smores. The owners very accommodating, we and they, had just had an ice storm, so we pushed our stay back 1 day. Everything was deiced and ready to go when we got here. There is even extra propane for each of the firepits. Really I just can't say enough good about this place. If you haven't tried glamping or love the tiny home movement this is for you. Thanks so much, we'll be back!"

Sam's Workshop is a TINY, stand alone studio and was once, as you guessed, Sam's true workshop! The space
One Kingshighway Inn is one of Eureka's original Queen Victorian homes with quirky character and a lot of charm! We are located on the Upper Historic Loop, on the same level as The Crescent Hotel and many shops and restaurants. We are about a 15 minute walk downhill to Basin Park (be prepared for a small hike back up).

While we do not live on the property, we are just a stone-throw away to help with anything you might need to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible!

It is important to note how small Sam’s Workshop is. There is room for a queen bed, a small bathroom, tiny dresser and desk. Please don’t be surprised that it’s small! Sam's Workshop differs in one essential way from just about all other notable Eurekan accommodations - no Jacuzzi tub. WHAT?!? No Jaccuzi TUB?!? That's right. Just a measly romantic shower with a dehumidifying drain line (for your respiratory comfort). Setting expectations will allow you to enjoy the magic of this beautiful space.

Guest access
Guest are welcome to hang out on on the large outdoor patio just outside your room, which is shared with one other guest room. Quiet Hours are between 10pm and 9am.

Other things to note
There is a narrow corridor to walk through to enter Sam’s Workshop. Bulky luggage may be challenging, but feasible.

We try to leave exterior lights on for you, as the stairs getting down to Sam's Workshop are very Eurekan rock stairs, which require a bit of balance.

The space
The Tree Top level is a birds eye view of a forested valley and over looking the garden. Wake every morning to a cacophony of bird song and sunrise while enjoying a cup of coffee, or moon rise with a glass of wine while relaxing on the daybed.
It’s a two minute drive to downtown.
As Eureka is in hilly town, it’s a 10 to 15 minute walk down to the historic District and a hill, back up to the Belladonna. Very doable, but you will have earned your dessert😉
Bellabonna Cottage was Built in circa 1895 the Bella is a restored cottage with two separate self contained levels. Each level has their own entrance and parking.
