This lovely spacious cottage is located between Harrison and Jasper near the Ozark National Forest.
Swimming and floating are a short distance away at the Buffalo National River along with numerous hiking trails in the area to explore.
The cottage is spacious and has a large covered patio and an adjacent firepit to lounge around and enjoy the sunset over Gaither mountain. Located in a fantastic area for motorcyclists and has excellent dark skies for the star gazers!
The location is country but has local restaurants nearby and a short distance to the services of Harrison.
The excitement of Branson MO is 45 minutes away, making it an easy day trip as well.

Cottage on 7s is Cute, quaint cottage right off Hwy 7 South. This cottage has an outdoor entertaining building with a fire pit , and seating area for a family s’more party , or a relaxing evening. Half mile from two restaurants DG, and gas station, 6.1 miles to the Buffalo river at Pruitt

Only 35 (ish) minutes to the Buffalo, and central to all the quaint little shops in Harrison, this lovely home is perfectly suited for the modern adventurer. We love hitting the Farmers market on the square and taking walks around lake Harrison!

The space
Our house is a renovated classic from an era of hard American work ethic and ingenuity. With both a modern and antique blend, we put the comforts into the nostalgia. There are a few quirks and rustic features to the home that add character but might be a bit odd to our guests, like a working skeleton key, antique windows, neat old closet doors, etc. We are confident you will enjoy our little jewel as much as we do.
With a grocery store four blocks away yet tucked into a sleepy neighborhood you will have the best of both worlds staying at our little cottage.
The front porch hints of days gone by where the ole timers would relax and wave at the passing neighbors from the warm environment of the front of the home. The porch swing provides just the right perspective to start your mornings or finish your evenings.
The two bedrooms are both connected to the bathroom, which functions well with communication.
We are proud of this little gem and hope that you feel the same!

Guests will have access to the entire home, two bedrooms, one bath, living area, full kitchen, dining area, and a separate work-meditation-reading area to enjoy.
Other things to note
Additional parking is available behind the house in the blacktop parking area of the business behind the house. (Large wooden brown building)

The garage (where you will park in front of) is unavailable for use with the rental. Please only park one car in front of the garage, the business behind the house is available for additional vehicles.

Cabin is non-smoking but smoking outside is permitted as long as the cigarette remains are properly discarded of.

If using the grill please wait until the grill has cooled off and re cover it with the cover to avoid excessive rust.

If logging into any streaming services on the tv, please make sure that you log out before you leave. We do not provide cable TV but have dvds you can watch or you can log into your preferred streaming service on our smart tv.

- "We visited Arkansas to ride all of the great motorcycle roads that we heard about in the Ozarks. The house was a great starting point for all of our rides, and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Overall, the house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner all week. We were able to walk to the grocery store (carrying groceries on a motorcycle is difficult) and to the ice cream shop (walking back up the hill burned off all the calories in those sundaes I'm sure). I enjoyed walking to the old town square of Harrison every night and learning about the buildings and the history of the area. We couldn't have chosen a better place to be our base for exploring the Ozarks. We are home now, and I have to say that I miss the place just a bit. Thank you for hosting and for sharing your house with us."

*The outdoor space is the perfect place to relax sitting by the firepit or relaxing in the hammock. Enjoy watching the sunset or sunrise and listening to the sound of our private creek. We provide plenty of wood for the firepit.

This property is steeped in history. The front porch hints of days gone by and sits adjust to where the Historical Olvey Hotel once stood, the ole timers would relax at the hotel and view the entire town of Olvey. Sitting on the banks of Meeks Creek this was once a major railroad in this historic town. The steam train would refuel from Lake Olvey while passengers would relax at the hotel.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Our cottage is handicap accessible and we boast a full kitchen, stocked with spice rack and many options for coffee or tea - including Keurig (with pods), percolator and French press. Comfy, clean and quality bedding. Games for the kids or room for a walk along the lane. Less than 20 mins to The Buffalo River. Less than an hr to Branson. Under 10 mins to Dollar General, convenience store and seasonal restaurant.

The space
Drive right up to our mid to late 1800’s farmhouse. We have restored the home with local hand made trim, stairs, and cabinets. It’s a small house that’s big on quality. All wood floors downstairs with custom stairs, trim, and cabinets. The counter tops are Hand made butcher block with a repurposed barn wood bar for eating. The upstairs carpet is nice top of the line carpet. Bedding is cotton or linen. Curtains are cotton or linen. Bed pillows are covered in linen fabric. The beds have down duvets with removable washable cotton or linen covers. All beds have waterproof mattress covers. I have two lamps with charging ports upstairs. There is a sound machine upstairs. Upstairs has a baby bed. A pack and play is available upon request. The kitchen has a full spice rack and good cookware. You will find a keurig, French press, drip, and stove top percolator along with a coffee grinder.

Buck Ridge Cottage is located just off Highway 65 North, but nestled in the trees of the beautiful Ozarks. This 100 year-old stone cottage will seduce you with charm. The 900 square foot, 2 bedroom home sleeps 2-4 guests comfortably (main BR with king size bed!) , and is ideal for romantic getaway for couples.
The front porch equipped with a swing and 2 rocking chairs offers a great view of the wooded area. Opportunities for hikes as well.

A kind note to our motorcycle owners: most bikers are enjoying the short stretch on the dirt road that leads to this hidden treasure, and a covered parking space has been created for their convenience. However, a few bikers may not be comfortable driving on a dirt road, so please be aware of this.
