When you arrive to The View At Happy Hollow, the beige exterior with red shutters set the house apart. A bright and cheerfully remodeled 1440 sq ft house (summer 2024) with a wall of sliding doors to the large 16' X 30' lakeside covered decks on both floors provide a close-up panoramic view of beautiful Dale Hollow Lake from the inside and the outside. You have found your happy place! A king primary bedroom and bath with walk in shower are on the top floor with deck access. The top floor offers an open plan Living / kitchen with 12' sliding door access; on the bottom floor there is one King bedroom with Lake View / Deck Access and a hall bath with tub / shower combo. Also on the first level is a flex room featuring an 86" TV for watching movies and colorful furniture for lounging.The green sofa / sleeper opens up to a queen size bed with a foam mattress. Walking towards the back of the flex room is a 6 top table with a view of the lake for dining or playing games. The kitchen features a bar with seating that lets guests chat with the cook. You can also cook outside on a large gas grill and lounge on the deck while enjoying the fire pit tables, the view, and the privacy. This house is pastel yellow and welcoming. It has been designed as a comfortable place to kick back, relax and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of nature on a quiet dead end road in Sherwood Shores. If you listen closely, you will hear a variety of owls hooting in evenings and early mornings and the birds sing all day from the heavy woods just off the deck. Sunset has also recently opened a new restaurant. There is a separate off-road parking area to the left of the house for 2 trucks and boat trailers or an RV. you can also check with the marina about parking space if you rent a dock slip. - "We were looking for a quick getaway and the owners were kind enough to squeeze us in. The cabin was close enough to several marinas but off the main roads so we didn't hear any traffic. The back porch is surrounded in trees and a beautiful spot to enjoy dinner. The fire pit is amazing with a lit path and finished surrounded so you're not sitting in the dirt or grass. Chairs and firewood were provided. We had amazing views of the sunset from the upper deck and were able to see some of the fireworks from the marinas. We didn't use the walking paths down to the water but would definitely do so when we stay again. This is great location for a couple or small family to get away and enjoy some time in a great setting. It had everything we needed for a long weekend at Dale Hollow!"

If you are in to wine, the oldest winery in TN, Highland Manor, is located in Jamestown, about a 30-40 minute drive down 127. The wine is very good and the gift shop is adorable. There are many things to enjoy around the Byrdstown area. Visit the Chamber of Commerce website for listings and locations. Cookeville is approximately a 45 minute drive right down Rt. 111. It has many shoppng opportunities, boutiques in the historic area as well as big box stores located around the city. If you like great dining, there are several great restaurants in the Cookeville area that are well worth the drive.

Welcome to our quaint Cabin! Super cute and comfortable fully equipped cabin! When you drive up you will find a great view plenty of parking for all the your boats and toys! The large front covered porch offering plenty of seating. Once you enter the Cabin you will be very delighted to find a very open and airy living space offering cathedral ceiling and an awesome lake view! The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped and has plenty of seating, dining table and bar area. The kitchen is open to the living room. There is a large second full bath that also offering a laundry area as well. The first floor large Primary bedroom has a very comfortable King size bed and private bath that has a beautiful lake view to wake up to! Second floor bedroom offers two queen size beds. There is very large covered rear deck with plenty of seating to sit and enjoy the lake and mountain views and watch the boats go by. If you’re a early riser, you just may spot wild life feeding in the yard. Also under the rear deck area there is a ping pong table, portal basket ball hoop (bring your ball) corn hole game and large Jenga game and a fire pit is in the front yard. Sunset Marina & beach within 7 min drive. You wont want to leave this tranquil cozy cabin, very serene! Enjoy your stay!

And there isn't really room for the kitchen table, but that's ok because we ate every meal out on the back porch!! Driveway was easy to back the boat into which was a plus. Kylie’s Cove is an adorable two bedroom bath and a half remodeled home that is a mile from the Cove Creek recreation area. The Cove Creek recreation area has a free boat launch, restrooms, and grill and picnic areas.
The house has an open floor plan. The kitchen and bathrooms have granite countertops.
There is a large patio outback with wood-burning chimney and a hot tub. It’s a great space for entertaining.
There are two bedrooms with a bath in between the two. One bedroom has a king bed. The other has a full bed.
And there is a half bath off the living room. The laundry room is also off of the living room.
In the kitchen there is a dining table with space for six. The kitchen is stocked with dishes and pots and pans.
The bathrooms are stocked with towels. And don’t worry about bringing bed linens they are provided.
Quiet peaceful setting. No neighbors.

We are a private residence located on over 10 private acres of water view / waterfront property. With 1500 square feet of custom, lower-level condo, private entry accommodations for our guests. We are conveniently located just .6 of a mile from toe in the water access to Dale Hollow Lake and boat ramp facilities. We offer on-site Pontoon, Kayak and Bass Boat rental, along with Guided Lake tours and Fishing excursions. We also offer an all-inclusive option for our guests that want to play all day and leave the cooking to us. So, come enjoy Dale Hollow Lake with just a suitcase in hand or bring your own water toys and groceries. It's all about you enjoying your vacation, your way... (all boat rentals, meal plans and activities are billed separately and apart from VRBO, we accept all major credit cards and forms of payment)
