It is situated on a 35-acre pond, stocked with lots of bass and brim, which makes for a great fishing experience when water levels permit. It also offers beautiful landscaped grounds with a front yard gazebo and plenty of space indoors and outdoors for family gatherings and fun. Enjoy the pond view from the back patio and dock and listen to the sound of rushing water over the spillway. You may catch an early morning glimpse of the otters playing in the pond. BEWARE: alligators do find their way to the pond.

The property is located off a dirt road. We recommend a vehicle with medium to high clearance and normal to large wheels, especially during rainy conditions.

If you are seeking a quiet clean place to stay then our place is perfect for you. Nestled in rural area are our one bedroom one bath cabins. Each cabin is equipped with a full kitchen, washer and dryer and full sized bed. Wifi and Satellite TV are included. Fire up the grill, sit back and listen to the sound of nature. No smoking, no pets.

Situated on acres of South Georgia farmland, this three bedroom two bath home boasts generous well-appointed rooms and distinct spaces to relax or entertain in. The home has a dedicated paddock available for those traveling with horses and parking for those traveling with a trailer or boat. Come relax and enjoy what we have to offer!

The space
Our farmhouse is 1700 square feet with a larger back porch and small covered front porch. The home features a huge great-room that includes the kitchen, dining area, and a large family room equipped with a 70 inch smart tv and comfy seating. The house has a split bedroom plan.

The master bedroom and private bath are located on the right of the home. The master bedroom is filled with a large king sized bed, books to read, a smart tv with a dvd player and small selection of dvds. Each side of the bed has a nightstand with a touch lamp equipped with USB ports to charge your devices. There is a bench at the end of the bed for ease of unpacking, a dresser, armoire, and a walk in closet with hangers. The master bath offers a relaxing rain shower for guests.

The left side of the home contains a guest bathroom and two large spare bedrooms. This bathroom has a shower tub combo.

One spare bedroom has a queen sized bed, desk, dresser, and nightstands. One nightstand is an antique lamp table combination and the other is more traditional with a touch table lamp including a USB port for device charging. There are books for reading and a closet with hangers and stools for placing luggage on.

The other spare bedroom has a queen sized bed, armoire, dresser, and nightstand. One side of the bed features a floor lamp and the other has a nightstand with a touch table lamp including a USB port for device charging. The closet has another cabinet for placing luggage on and hangers for clothes.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire first floor of the home. The first floor is 1700 square feet and contains everything advertised to guests.

The second floor and stairs leading to it is off limits to guests. This is just personal storage and an attic.

Guests also have access to the property and fire pit.

Other things to note
The entertainment center has board games, puzzles, and card games. There is a badminton set and a (safe) lawn dart game on top of the deep freezer in the laundry room. Next to the deep freezer are extra outdoor chairs and an extra tv tray table. We just ask if you do use them to put them away after use. The laundry room also contains basic cleaning supplies and soaps for guest use while they are staying.

We provide smart tv’s but please bring your own login credentials and passwords for streaming services.

There is a large modern RV stored off and on throughout the year on the property. It is plugged into the shop to maintain security devices and temperature regulation during its storage.

The master bathroom contains a large jacuzzi tub. The tub is not listed as an amenity and it is not featured in photos because it is not functional. Please do not attempt to use it.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Our home has a hotel style studio set up, king size bed, microwave and coffee maker. It’s ideal for couples looking for a retreat or someone in town to visit family. We are a 15 minute drive to George L Smith State Park, 35 minute drive to Statesboro, and 20 minute drive to Millen or Swainsboro.
