This is the smallest of 4 apartments in a beautifully restored, turn of the century home that was turned into apartments in the 1920s. Three huge sycamore trees surround the house. The fully fenced back yard is a nature retreat complete with pond and sometimes frogs. Large decks surround the back of the house with each tenant having their own share of deck and a BBQ. Everything has been thought of to make your stay as easy as being home but also special and different. Owner :)nga 1 block away from the town natural food store7 blocks from the town square, a pleasant quiet neighborhood. Easy peasey.... Half way between the town square and the university. One block down a country lane feeling alley to the grocery store. Easiest location. Free bikes for getting around or enjoying the 17 mile bike loop around Fairfield.

A beautiful deck to watch the sunset, a cute kitchen with everything you need, and a bohemian design overall that was very well curated. It was a wonderful place to stay during my time in Fairfield — I was able to relax in comfort, undisturbed. The house is old and the other guests/tenants did make some noise but it was minimal and not a problem. There was a sweet kitty who visited me when I was on the deck. Quiet block near Lake Pleasant, where I like to walk. Highly recommend! "

This cabin is nestled by the bridge across the river from Pittsburgh, Iowa, just a few miles west of Keosauqua on a paved road. Accommodations not only include the cabin, but also 1.5 acres of flat, riverfront land to play, relax and enjoy nature. A screened porch with seating overlooks the Des Moines river. The river view from this cabin is amazing.

The main/master bedroom has a full-sized bed, while the remaining loft area is furnished with two full-sized beds, comfortable for sleeping six people. The cozy living room is furnished with a reclining love seat and TV/DVD player and DISH Network! The kitchen is equipped with a full refrigerator and stove and a full table/benches for plenty of seating. Guests can enjoy an afternoon of fishing, sitting by the fire pit, or just relaxing while the sun goes down over the river.

The amazing wildlife along the river is absolutely beautiful. If you enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing and nature, this is the cabin for you!

Note: cell phone reception is spotting at the cabin, but better in town. There IS WiFi and DISH Network. You can unwind and relax with some amenities. Also the driveway is steeper. During winter months all-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive is best!

This is right on the waterfront, with a beatlutiful unobstructed view from the bench on the river edge. The view from the deck is only framed by some trees and is just and great. The deck itself is such a plus, enough space to spread out and enjoy the weather, even if its raining- the porch was perfect for sitting and watching a storm roll in and out. The kitchen has probably every utensil you could think of needing, as well as cookware -and a full size fridge with freezer to keep your goods fresh. Microwave, and stove inside and a great blackstone outside available to use. There is even a coffee machine and the hosts are gracious enough to pre stock some essentials for your first morning. The bathroom has a walk in shower with great pressure and plenty of towels. This was by far one of my favorite places to stay!"

Situated on just over 11 acres in Historic Van Buren County this 3 bedroom 2 bath renovated home has just what the doctor ordered. Located just a 10th of a mile on Hwy 15 between Memphis Mo. and Milton Ia offers a private 3+ acre pond stocked with Bass, Crappie, Bluegill, Walleye, Catfish and in the spring Rainbow Trout. In the last 3 years we have added 1400 Crappie, 600 Bass, 1500 Bluegill, 300 Catfish and 300 Rainbow Trout. We also added two pellet fish feeders that go off twice a day to maximize fish size. If fishing isn't for you take in the views from the sand beach or even possibly shoot a game of pool on a brand new Brunswick pool table, abundant parking to accommodate any types of vehicle's and larger groups.

This luxury loft apartment has french doors opening onto a large treetop level deck overlooking a garden with pond and stream. It is in the heart of downtown Fairfield, a block away from the grocery store and 5 blocks from the town square. I (the owner of this 4 apartment building) am an artist and I designed this apartment for myself. It is both wonderful and a bit eccentric. The space is entirely open. but there is a part of the loft that forms a second room that is quite private; both visually and aurally separate from the rest of the space. Most adults have to bend over to enter the space. Check out the photographs. The deck has steps down to the garden which you are free to enjoy. Residential neighborhood. The house borders on an alley that has the feeling of a country lane. Easy peasey.... Half way between the town square and the university.
