- "We were in town for a horse show at St Andrews College. The home was great for us to gather after the show and enjoy family. We had eight adults and the dining room was great for meals and a game of cards. The living room was a good gathering room too. The pillows were not the best, we bought a couple pillows at Wal-Mart. The beds were all very comfortable. We had two men staying in the twin bedrooms that were 6-1 tall. Only people under 5-4 should plan on using these two rooms because the antique wood bed frames made a tall person very uncomfortable with no room for their feet. One of the twin rooms does have a door to the outside so I would not plan on a child using this room. The bathrooms were ok; the showers were functional but could be upgraded. The kitchen was very nice. TVs only in a few of the bedrooms which was fine for us. We would stay here again. If a good hotel was cheaper that might push us back to that type of travel stay."

Located in Five Points between Southern Pines and Raeford, North Carolina, our home is just 2 minutes away from the Carolina Horse Park, where you can watch equestrian events. You'll also find plenty of hiking trails and outdoor activities in the nearby parks and nature reserves. And if you're looking to explore the area, we're just a short drive away from Fayetteville, Southern Pines, and the Pinehurst Master's Golf community.

As you enter the keypad front door, you'll be greeted by an open-concept living space that's perfect for entertaining the whole family. The fully equipped kitchen has all the essentials and more to prepare delicious meals for your group. You'll find a basic set of spices to get started and an Insta-pot, Keurig and drip coffee maker, a blender, and crock pot in addition to the standard appliances. The dining area comfortably seats 8 plus a highchair available for your little ones. The living room is simply set up with family games and a Roku TV ready to stream your favorite show after dinner. For those who need to check that one last email or work remotely, our home has high-speed, fiber optic internet.

The second floor of this home hosts the king suite with a large walk-in closet and a private ensuite bathroom with a large shower. The second bedroom features a comfortable queen-sized bed, while the third bedroom has 2 twin-sized beds - perfect for kids or single guests. The fourth bedroom is a equipped with a twin bed, a twin loft bed, and a convertible Nugget couch. There is also a portable crib available in the king suite that is easily moved to any room upstairs. Each room includes a fan and luggage rack in the closet. There are thoughtfully placed baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs. The laundry nook is also centrally located upstairs between the bedrooms.

Each bathroom is stocked with extra towels, make-up removal towels, hair dryers, and Native Brand toiletries for your use if your full-size items didn't make the trip. There's even an infant bath for those traveling with babies.

- "The initial process was good. As we got closer to our time to arrive they became unresponsive. They day of our travel we still had not receive information on how to get access the property. We reach out via phone and the owner was not aware of our reservation. She even admitted that she doesn’t check her notifications, which made us question if we still had a reservation. She said that the property was clean and we could still go there. Upon arrival the furniture was dirty in which I wiped down, there was a bath towel still in the bathroom, the bathroom carpet was dirty, the toilet was dirty, and food still in the refrigerator. It appeared that someone just left there. So disappointed as we had no where else to go and nor did we want to spend more money."

The campsite is located near the South of the Border tourist attraction. Right on Interstate 95 between the North Carolina and South Carolina state line. Our farm has lots of animals to see such as sheep, goats, and chickens to explore! The towns of Dillon and Hamer are within a 20 minute drive and have a few restaurants you can eat at. Lake Wallace walking trail is within a 25 minute drive which crosses a quaint lake. Within about a 10 minute drive you'll find Red Bluff Lake to do some fishing.

Our secluded campsite is on the Jordan pond with 100 acres of meadow to explore and appreciate!

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature!

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation.

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Enjoy a three room suite consisting of bedroom, dressing room with two closets, and private bath. Everything is done in the Arts & Crafts style. The bedroom overlooks the private courtyard and some of the gardens. Situated in a mansion listed on the National Register of Historic Places and 3.1 miles from the Highland Games site. The bathroom includes a separate shower and jetted tub. Multiple spaces await you outside for relaxation. There is access to a full shared Guest Kitchen.

The space
Guests enjoy the spaciousness of the room with its large desk and comfortable easy chair for relaxing. A dresser, armoire and 2 closets are available for your unpacking needs. Relax after a hard day in the jetted tub or the separate marble shower stall.

Besides the well-appointed guest suite , guests will have access to the living room and conservatory. There is also a full Guest Kitchen on the third floor shared by the other 2 guest suites. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the spacious grounds designed by noted landscape architect Charles Gillette with many options for outdoor seating . The pergola is a perfect place to enjoy the outdoors during the evening.

During your stay
We attempt to give our guests privacy while sharing our large property, but we are always available to be of help and answer questions about our area . The grounds have plenty of individual seating options.

Other things to note
This is our home and we enjoy offering suites to our guests visiting for the Highland Games, but only registered guests have access to the house and grounds. Because of the historic nature of the property , we do not accept reservations for guests under 18.
