More specifically, being in Old Forge, you are near First Lake (of the Fulton Chain Lakes), Moose River, the TOBIE Trail, golfing at the Thendara Golf Club, the Adirondack Scenic Railroad, McCauley Mountain, Fulton Chain Brewery, swimming in Old Forge Pond or at the private beach for Hollywood Hills association members (where you can also launch a boat). For family fun, there's a movie theater dating back to the 1920s that shows current blockbusters, an arcade, an arts center, miniature golf, and the Enchanted Forest Water Safari. ABOUT THE SPACE IN HOME

The home has 2 full bedrooms and 2 full baths - plenty of space for a family or for a single couple or two.

The master bedroom includes a king-sized bed, a giant TV, a walk-in closet, and an attached bathroom.

The second bedroom includes a queen-sized bed and another giant TV and a bathroom across the hall.

We have a fully-equipped kitchen for guests to enjoy with new appliances and a dining table in the kitchen nook.

The living room has two comfy couches, a big-screen TV, a bar, and peaceful views that often include ADK wildlife. If you have a 5th person, the one living room couch can also serve as a pull-out bed, which would be most comfortable for a younger guest.

Outside the house, you can enjoy our yard, wrap-around deck, and a side fire pit with tandem rocking chairs.

Parking is on-site in the driveway or in front of the house.

Abbreviated Welcome Guide

WINTER GUESTS IMPORTANT INFO
Our driveway is plowed and accessible for parking, however, the driveway is steep and a 4WD or AWD vehicle is best in icy or snowy conditions. Regarding accessing the side door, we will have a path shoveled to the entrance. If it snows during your stay, please, for your safety, use the shovel and ice melt in the container below the stairs. Winter conditions in Old Forge and throughout the region require extra caution.

BEAR SAFETY
Carry in/carry out. Leave no trash or food remains at the camp. Bears follow the scent of food and can turn a property upside down as a result of food left behind.

INFO ON BRINGING ALONG A DOG
One dog, non-shedding, and under 25 pounds will be considered with documentation of up-to-date vaccination records. We would ask that the dog always be attended to in the house or crated and that he/she be kept off the furniture. If a crate is needed to accommodate rules (keeping your sweet pup off the furniture), we can provide one with sufficient time to plan. An additional cleaning fee of $35 per day up to $120 a stay will be assessed in advance of your stay to cover costs for additional cleaning.

Regarding sheets: The two bedrooms will have clean sheets on the beds for guests when they arrive. If guests wish to bring their sheets, they will need king sheets for the master bedroom and queen sheets for the second bedroom. The pullout couch has a queen mattress and there will be a set of queen sheets in the closet for guests using the sofa bed.

Regarding towels: We have house towels but not beach towels. Summer guests are kindly asked to bring their own beach towels.

Regarding drinking water: Our well water contains natural minerals that have a taste and smell that, although safe to drink, is not preferred in its unfiltered state. Owners refill our 5-gallon water cooler (in our kitchen) in town using the spigot on the side of the Old Forge Tourist Center building. We also drink from cold water run through a Britta filter pitcher stored in the fridge at the house. We suggest either for our guests.

Regarding the association beach: Directions both for driving and walking to the beach will be available at the camp.

With 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, living room with wood-burning fireplace and beautiful deck, over-looking the pond, you and your family can enjoy some quality time together. A former bed and breakfast, this home is 6066 sq ft on 32 acres. It has 7 bedrooms 5 baths and plenty of room for large gatherings. Many bedrooms have a fireplace and its own private bath. Perfect location for snowmobiling in the Adirondack, direct access to several trails and on Stillwater reservoir. There is a large professional kitchen two ovens, built in griddle, and sub-zero refrigerator. Home offers two living areas and laundry room and a very large bonus room for your families use. Plenty of parking for cars and trailers, there is also a storage barn for use. Pets will be considered so long as they are well trained.

Each room has new Adirondack-style furniture, smart TV, and dresser. Two rooms have king beds and one has two bunks (4 twin beds - fun for kids, but fit adults too!). The living room couch also has a pullout bed that can fit two. There are two full baths with necessities like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and towels.

There is a very large living room with wood burning fireplace (wood not provided, but available at several locations in town). There is also central AC, WiFi, a kitchen with many cooking supplies (including spices, pots, pans, utensils, and Crockpot), a microwave, and dishwasher. There is a washer and dryer in the basement.

The house is on an acre of land along Moose River with privacy fences on both sides. There are river views from the living room where you will often see deer walking through the large backyard. There is a fire pit in the backyard (wood not provided, but available at several locations in town) and a 16’ x 28’ deck off the living room with a propane Weber grill.

There is parking for 5 vehicles (there is a garage, driveway, and side yard which can also be used for snowmobile trailers).

Our home provides guests with easy access to lakes, streams, paddling sites, mountains (to climb, bike, ski, gaze from) walking trails, cross-country trails, snowmobiling fun, and so much more. Treat yourself!

The space
THE SPACE
The home has 2 full bedrooms and 2 full baths - plenty of space for a family or for a couple or two. The master bedroom includes a king-sized bed, a giant TV, a walk-in closet, and an attached bathroom. The second bedroom includes a queen-sized bed and another giant TV and a bathroom across the hall. There's a fully-equipped kitchen with new appliances and a dining table in the kitchen nook. There's a living room with a big screen TV, bar, and peaceful views which often include ADK wildlife. The living room also has a pull-out couch that can be used for a young guest (a child). Outside the house, you will enjoy a yard, a wrap-around deck, and a side fire pit with tandem rocking chairs. Parking is on-site in the driveway or in front of the house.

INFO ON BRINGING ALONG A DOG
One dog, non-shedding, and under 25 pounds will be considered with documentation of up-to-date vaccination records. We would ask that the dog always be attended to in the house or crated and that he/she be kept off the furniture. If a crate is needed to accommodate rules (keeping your sweet pup off the furniture), we can provide one with sufficient time to plan. An additional cleaning fee of $35 per day up to $120 a stay will be assessed in advance of your stay to cover costs for additional cleaning.

FOR SNOWMOBILERS AND WINTER GUESTS
We are right near Trail 4 (a snowmobile trail that sledders love) and other popular trails to explore. We have blocked 4 months -- from Dec. 1 to March 30 - for a seasonal rental. Please reach out if you would like to talk about a 3 to 4-month rental.

If there is no seasonal rental by Oct. 1, the block will be removed for shorter-term guests.

A few more odds and ends:

ADK is bear country! More info will be shared with guests before arrival about ensuring for safety - both for the bears and the human guests. :)

Regarding sheets: The two bedrooms will have clean sheets on the beds for guests when they arrive. The pullout couch has a queen mattress and there will be a set of queen sheets in the closet for guests using the sofa bed. (If guests wish to bring their own sheets, they will need king sheets for the master bedroom and queen sheets for the main bedroom.)

Regarding towels: We have house towels but not beach towels. Summer guests are kindly asked to bring their own beach towels.

Info for summer guests:
Typically, we do not use an air conditioner in the summer. The average temp in Old Forge in the summer is 74 degrees high and 53 degrees low and air conditioners are not needed for the most part. If guests want an air conditioner installed for their stay, we can make arrangements. Please contact owners for further information.

Info for winter guests:
Our driveway is plowed and accessible for parking, however, the driveway is steep and a 4WD or AWD vehicle is best in icy or snowy conditions. Regarding accessing the side door, we will have a path shoveled to the entrance. If it snows during your stay, please, for your safety, use the shovel and ice melt in the container below the stairs. Winter conditions in Old Forge and throughout the region require extra caution.

Further house rules will be shared with guests before arrival. Feel free to reach out with any questions in the meantime.

Guest access
Guests can enjoy countless activities, some of the most popular including Enchanted Forest Water Safari (1 mile), Bald Mountain (3 miles), McCauley Mt for downhill skiing or summer and fall scenic tours (4 miles), Fulton Chain Craft Brewery (1.1 miles) and too many to name trails to traverse and mountains to climb. The Old Forge Visitor Info Center's website provides many ideas, too, for those traveling to the area.

Beaches: As our guests, you can enjoy a semi-private beach on First Lake. You also can visit the Old Forge Pond (which opens up to First Lake). Both beaches are within a couple of miles and both allow for swimming as well as launching and docking of boats. (Feel free to inquire in regards to docking.) If you'd like a non-motorized body of water for recreation, Nick's Lake (just under 5 miles) is a smaller lake that doesn't allow motorized boats and has a terrific playground for the kids. Cascade and Moss Lakes are also great options.

We ask that no more than five guests stay in the house. If you wish to have an additional guest, please speak with us in advance. An extra guest fee will apply, except for infants and small children.

Beautiful whole upper house. Owner or host might reside in lower apartment, but you will be notified if anyone is there. Great location. Save on gas, walking distance to drug store, grocery store, all the village shops, restaurants, bars. Next to snowmobile, bike trails, skiing, and the beautiful Moose River. Enchanted Forest is 5 minutes away, and walking distance to beach, and boat rentals. Quite neighborhood with school and field across the street.

This is a multi-level cabin with one bedroom on the first floor, one pullout couch in the glass room on the first floor and two beds in the loft upstairs.

Transfer Station information is posted on refrigerator. All garbage should be removed from property when you leave. There is no fee to dispose at transfer station.

If you are snowmobiling, you will need trail passes if you don’t already have a seasonal pass. They are $55 for 7 days and can be purchased in person at the Town of Webb Visitors Center or in advance at http://oldforgeny.com/snow/permits.html

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Right in the heart of downtown Old Forge, you can enjoy walking to many restaurants and shops. Walk or bike to Maple Ridge Trails, TOBIE trail or McCauley trails. Enjoy a fully fenced in back yard with your dogs! This house offers two main living spaces (one with a TV), full kitchen, three bedrooms, 1 king and 2 queens(all on the 2nd floor) and 1 and a half bathrooms. Large driveway (65 x 24 feet) for some trailers or multiple cars!

The space
We have 3 upstairs bedrooms with a king in one and a queen in the other two plus a full bathroom on that floor. The main floor has 2 living spaces, kitchen and a half bathroom. The backyard is fenced in with a fire pit, ADK chairs and a grill. We are only a short walk from all of the shops, restaurants and bars in town. The front porch has 3 ADK chairs to relax and people watch from.

Guest access
There is a front and side door with code access. The backyard door does not have a code or key. This is the only door that accesses the fenced in back yard, although there is a gate at the end of the driveway for outdoor access to the backyard.

Other things to note
Trash and recycling must be taken with you at the end of your stay. Alternatively you can get trash/recycling permits in town hall during regular business hours and drop it off at the transfer station near McCauley (~5 minute drive).


In the back of the Historic Society (next door) there is a trailer you can donate your 5 cent cans and bottles if you like.

Other things to note
For winter rentals an all wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicle would be required. The driveway is plowed but will always have a packed snow base requiring a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Driveway will be plowed by contractor but guests will need to shovel steps.

Snowmobilers- Access to trail 4 from Pawnee. Plenty of room to park a trailer in the driveway, driveway is a U, drive in, drive out right onto Rt. 28.

This house has a whole house generator so you never have to worry about losing power.

Our 2-bedroom home is nestled among the trees in a quiet neighborhood on a dead-end road. Its proximity is just a short two mile drive to downtown Old Forge or a quick 10-minute drive to our adorable, neighboring Town of Inlet.

We have many activities for any adventurer nearby. Enchanted Forest Water Safari and Calypso's Cove is a big hit with the kiddos in the summertime. If you are looking to be more physical, there are biking and hiking trails galore within minutes of the house. The expansive mountain biking trail system at McCauley Mountain will be sure to add a thrill to your day. Wear a helmet! If a day on the water is what you are feeling, check out the local town beach, rent a kayak from Mountainman or a motor boat from Rivets Marina. Are you a golf enthusiast? Thendara Golf Club is one of the most pristine, 18-hole public golf courses around and includes a driving range. You can also get competitive with the kids at Nutty Putty mini golf and finish it off with Benny's Ice Cream as a treat.

The best part to start or end any day, is relaxing on the large deck while enjoying the sounds of nature. Grab your morning cup of coffee or your afternoon cocktail and soak in the peace and quiet. After you have filled your days of adventure, just plan a day to stay home, grill a steak and build a campfire.

For the wintertime enthusiasts, we have McCauley Mountain nearby. It's one of the best little ski mountains in the east that offers trails for any ability. We also live in a snowmobile mecca. Although the snowmobile trails can not be accessed from the house, we do have room for your trailer parking. There is also plenty of trailer parking by the nearby trailheads to get your snowmobiles to and from.

No matter what your visit entails, we are the perfect base camp for adventures in any season.

The Study is a newly built cabin on Fourth Lake in the Adirondacks at Palmer Point. The cabin sleeps 5 and includes a sleep loft and bedroom, spacious private deck, washer/dryer and dishwaher at a living room with 20 foot ceilings.

The space
The property includes a sandy beach and fire pit for your use. The swimming area is sandy and gradual. It’s great for kids. We have kayaks and canoes you can borrow (some restrictions apply) too.

The space
My comfortable 2-bedroom cabin has everything you need for your Old Forge trip. Perfect for a couples get away or family retreat. The cabin is equipped with a washer/dryer, self check-in, and free coffee and tea. In warmer months, enjoy the large deck, big yard and screened in porch. It is an ideal base to explore the Adirondacks.

Enjoy the entire cabin! You are also welcome to spend time at the Property Owners beach and dock just down the hill from the cabin.

Other things to note
Please let us know ahead of time if you would like to launch your boat to enjoy the Fulton Chain of Lakes. We will provide a sticker to use the Property Owners boat launch. Keep in mind, dock parking is first come, first serve there.

We have the fix for your cabin fever! Our 2 bedroom, 1 and 1/2 bath house is right in the heart of Old Forge. Walk to shopping, dining, hiking, and boating. Water Safari and Enchanted Forest too!

Plenty of room to spread out in the single family home. Very clean and recently updated throughout. Large yard and bonfire area.

Recent addition of garage and owners quarters above garage. Owners not on property May-Oct 7th.

The space
The space has that perfect cabin yet super clean feel. We have kept the best of this original cabin and added a fun eclectic mix of Adirondack décor. The house once served as a restaurant and also a bar. Great open spaces with ample space to spread out and relax.

We recently added to the back of the cabin, a garage with owners quarters above. Owners on site from Oct 7- April 30th

Enjoy the perfect Adirondack retreat at our 2 bedroom cabin situated between the towns Old Forge and Inlet. Perfect for a couples getaway or a family vacation. Bluebird cabin is located down the road from beautiful Bald Mountain and is adjacent to Trail 5. Even better, you can enjoy direct access to 10 km of nature trails right on property and meander to our lake and the Moose River.

Situated on 250 acres of pristine Adirondack land surrounding two private lakes and bordering the Moose River, guests have access to the beautiful fields and nature trails at Adirondack Woodcraft Camps. During the warmer months, guests can enjoy camp's waterfront complete with paddle boards, kayaks, canoes and row boats. If you visit during the snowy months, you'll have access to beautiful cross country ski trails. Snowmobilers will love that Trail 5 is adjacent to the property. Plenty of space for trailer parking. Tons of fun for the whole family, or great for a romantic, rustic retreat!

Cozy 3 bedroom house for rent nightly or weekly within walking distance to the shops, restaurants, gas station, grocery store and pharmacy. One mile from public beach/boat launch. Plenty of room on side yard for boat trailer. One bedroom has queen bed, the other two have full/double beds. Quaint kitchen with all of the appliances and amenities. One very large bathroom. Washer and dryer, Central A/C and Wifi at your disposal with ample parking. Fully trained dogs welcome with additional fee.

The space
Cozy 2nd floor living space with 3 bedrooms, good sized living room, one very large bathroom and small but efficient kitchen. Washer and dryer are on basement (1st) floor. Garage holds gas grill and supplies which can be wheeled out along with Adirondack chairs to put out around the fire pit. We have made the difficult choice to not to provide linens at this space due to previous difficulties. If there are extenuating circumstances, please contact us and we will work with you to make your stay comfortable.

Pullman Avenue is a block away from Fast Track convenience store and the back parking lot entrance to Diorio's IGA supermarket and Kinney's drug store. We are also a stones throw from the Mill Restaurant. One could easily walk into town to shop or drive a mile down the road to the town beach and public boat launch.

Other things to note
We ask that you leave the house just as you found it and dispose of refrigerator contents, garbage and pet waste. If there have been any accidents outside of normal housekeeping, please clean yourselves and advise homeowner immediately so that the next family can enter the same clean and disinfected environment as you did. Thank you for choosing to stay at our home away from home!

You will have access to the enter home we will provide entry codes for the keypad prior to your stay.

Other things to note
A light cleaning service is provided between guests, but due to the nature of the town and available services it is not feasible to spend hours cleaning after your departure. We kindly request that the floors are swept, dishes are washed and put away, refrigerator is emptied and the camp is picked up prior to your departure. Please turn off all lights, fan and AC units. The best rule of thumb is, the cabin should be left in the same condition in which you found it.

There is absolutely NO smoking or vaping allowed ANYWHERE on the property. You will be charged an extra cleaning fee and asked to leave immediately.

Parking in the garage is prohibited.

One set of bed sheets will be provided for each bed for the duration of your stay. Upon your departure please place all used bed sheets and towels on the floor in the main bathroom.

Due to the nature of the area you cannot leave trash outside overnight as there are bear in the area. You must take your own trash to the Town of Webb Transfer Station, open six days a week 8-12 closed on Wednesday, so please plan accordingly.
You will be charged $20 for each bag of trash or recyclables left on site.

Make some amazing memories at this unique and family-friendly cabin! Conveniently located walking distance to the public beach, boat rentals, water park, and local shops & restaurants. This adorable Adirondack cabin offers 3 bedrooms (2 fulls and 1 twin bunk), 1 bathroom, a spacious kitchen and dining area, and cozy living room with smart TV and wifi. It also has a great yard and porch for watching the frequent deer visitors as well as a fire pit in the back yard complete with a charcoal grill!

The space
Our cabin is all one level which is great for families with small children or anyone with difficulty using steps. The main living space is an open concept with a large kitchen and dining area. The bedrooms are more private and cozy and right off the main living area. We have both a front porch which is nice for morning coffee or tea and a backyard area with a fire pit and charcoal grill.

Please let me know if you'll be bringing your own bedding and towels or if you prefer we provide them (at no additional charge)!
Also, we have a keypad door lock. I will set a code for your visit that is easy for you to remember, so message me with it prior to your check in (4 digit minimum)! Otherwise, I'll set one at random and send it to you before your check in day.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. On snowmobile trail. Walking distance to the beach / Enchanted Forest water park / restaurants / miniature golf / the famous Old Forge Hardware store, Gym and all amenities in Old Forge. The home was fully re-modeled in 2022/ 2023. Everything is new just bring your bags. In season: July and August 3 night minimum. Off season rentals require a two night minimum. Snowmobile monthly rentals available.

There are 2 living room spaces with their own TV’s. First is a finished enclosed porch with a table, chairs, t.v. , couch. Second is the living room that has an L shaped couch, fireplace and big screened t.v. The kitchen has all brand new appliances with a counter between the kitchen and living room. There is also a table and chairs in the kitchen. The bathroom has a stand up shower. Bedroom 1 has a large queen size bed and large closet. Bedroom 2 has 2 twin beds. Bedroom 3 has a twin over a full bed. B.B.Q. Table and chairs in the yard for your use. Located on snowmobile trail. You can park 2 vehicles in the driveway. For additional parking you can park on the front grass or use the street parking.

WINDOW AC: There is an AC in the upstairs hallway that help to cool the upstairs on hot days.
