An easy walk to shops and taverns. Conveniently located next to the grocery store. A short drive to Nicks Lake. A lovely back garden entrance. The host was very responsive to questions. One caveat the grocery store has a loud chiller on roof preventing quiet time in the garden. However, for us the benefits outweigh that issue, and we look forward to returning."

Very Minor issues, overall this is a great spot to take in the entire Village. Would be perfect size for a couple or single person. Cute little kitchen with lots of utensils, and dishes as well as cookware. I absolutely loved my stay here."

Stay at Village Cottages and rent this cheerful and spacious 2nd floor unit with two bedrooms. Sleeps comfortably up to 6 people. One bedroom has a queen bed and second bedroom has a double bed w/ twin trundle. Living room has with a twin bed off to side in a sleeping nook to accommodate an extra guest. There is a large, fully equipped kitchen with dining area. Spacious , full bath comes with a tub/shower combo. Private balcony for outdoor sitting and enjoyment.

After walking down the path and over the bridge to the entrance, you will walk into the kitchen area with the bathroom located directly on the right. The kitchen is fully outfitted for any cooking needs - all we ask is you clean and care for them like its your own and clean up after yourself. Following the kitchen is the open dining and living area flooded in light and reflections from the lake. Both bedrooms are located right off of the living area. Feel free to enjoy the sitting area on the side deck.

Guests will have access to the apartment and deck on the side of the boathouse. Access to the storage area below is prohibited.

Please note: This is a Boathouse, not the Marriott. It’s a little old inside but in a really cool spot right on 4th Lake. The WiFi can be a little spotty especially during a storm. It’s on top of the water in the Adirondacks which is surrounded by trees and mountains so you will not get the best reception here. There is a queen bed and a full bed as well as two brand new leather couch/futons .

During the summer months of July and August, Boathouse is rented from Saturday to Saturday. The weekly rate is $1200.

We offer a 5% discount on the weeks of June 22-29 and August 17-24, a 10% discount the week of August 24-31, and a 15% discount the week of August 31 - September 7.

The Boathouse is a small cottage located on Fourth Lake. There is one bedroom with a double bed, a living room with two twin beds, and a pullout love seat. The cottage has a kitchen, and a bathroom. There is also a fully enclosed dining porch with beautiful view overlooking the lake. There are four other cottages of varying sizes on the property and a small beach and dock area.

The space
The Boathouse offers incredible panoramic views of 4th Lake and simple amenities for those who prize location over features.

Following an open floor plan, the kitchen, dining area, and living room is combined and flooded with natural light. The kitchen is fully outfitted for any cooking needs, plus we’ve added a Blackstone grill on the porch. All we ask is that you clean and care for the utensils and equipment like it’s your own, and clean up after yourself (you will need to take your trash with you upon checkout - we provide the bags for the transfer station).

Following the kitchen is the open dining and living area that receives reflections from the lake all day long. We have a Roku TV located in the living room for your use.

Both bedrooms are located right off of the living area - one king, one queen - with direct views of the water. There are two additional futons in the living room.

Guests will have access to a designated parking area followed by a well-lit path to the entrance. Please enjoy the sitting area and kayaks on the attached side deck.

While there is no air conditioning or heating available, leaving the windows open with the fans running keeps it very cool and comfortable in the summertime. Also, the WiFi can be a little spotty especially during a storm (located on top of the water in the Adirondacks surrounded by trees and mountains will not get the best reception).

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire apartment and deck on the side of the boathouse, with dock space available for 1 or 2 jet-skis during your stay.

Access to the storage area below or neighboring property is prohibited.
