We call our home Serenity by the Sea because that is what it is to us. We are located in an area called The Hammocks, between the Florida Intracoastal waterway and the Atlantic Ocean just across the bridge from Palm Coast, FL. It is truly a Floridian paradise, with the natural beauty of the Atlantic Ocean beach and protected natural lands full of large Spanish moss-draped Oak trees. We are 8/10 tenths of a mile from MalaCompra Road Beachfront Park; 3/10 tenths of a mile from Bing’s Landing Park, 3/10 tenths of a mile from MalaCompra Greenway Mountain Biking and Hiking Trails, and several unique and awesome restaurants. We are 30 minutes south of Historic St. Augustine and 30 minutes north of Daytona Beach. There are a lot of things to do nearby and yet lots of opportunities to do little but enjoy the peace, quiet, and serenity of the area. Our home features two bedrooms each with their own flatscreen TV, two bathrooms, a comfortable living area with a full-size pull-out sofa bed for overflow and kids, a fully stocked kitchen, parking for three vehicles, and all the things you would need for a beach vacation including plenty of chairs, coolers, a beach umbrella and an outdoor shower with hot water for after the beach. We provide towels, bedding, dish soap, dishwasher pods, garbage bags, paper towels, and toilet paper for your use. We have a great coffee bar with an espresso machine, bean grinder, and an automatic drip coffee maker. We also have a great Belgium waffle iron and an electric ice cream machine. We love spending time here and know that you will as well. We have a fenced in back yard, with string lighting, a paver brick patio, outdoor table, gas grill, and outdoor gas fire pit. Bring your boat, Bings Landing is one mile down the road, with a boat ramp, kayak launch, picnic area, and a great barbecue restaurant. Historic St. Augustine is 20 minutes north, Disney World an easy 1 1/2 hour drive, and Daytona is 30 minutes south, and if you love golf, lots of great courses to play.
This cottage has a master suite with a king size bed. The second bedroom has a full and a twin, and there is a queen sofa bed in the living room. Our downstairs apartment is 1/2 mile to the beautiful beaches of Palm Coast. The beach is very quiet and for the most part secluded. Our beaches are also pet friendly and have amazing sun rises. Great for long walks or days laying in the sun. We are 20 minutes south of historic St Augustine and 30 minutes north of Daytona. There is also Publix 3 miles away for all your vacation needs.

We have recently refurnished our apartment to make it relaxing for all our guest. With one bedroom and one bath, our apartment is a perfect place to enjoy your vacation and please, bring you furry family member, too! There is also plenty of room for air mattress if needed. Air Mattress can be provided.

A gas grill is available to you. Relax in the afternoons on the covered sitting area outside. We also have apple TV for you to log into Netflix and Prime Video. We provide WiFi. The kitchen is well equipped with just about anything you would need to feed the family and we also have Keruig with coffee. I live above the apartment if there is anything you may need. - "What a cute, cozy place to stay. The house itself was perfect for 2 adults and 2 teenage boys. They have everything you need to cook meals and have a great cup of coffee. The backyard was so peaceful. Loved the outdoor shower!! We did take the bikes out for a couple of spins. They are nice, but 3 are better for the roads and not the trails next to the property. Those trails are nice though! Even before we stayed the host communication was on point! I had asked about fireworks in the area. Not only did they send me information via the mail feature in Vrbo, but they had pamphlets waiting at the house when we arrived!! The location was perfect for our trip. We spent time in St. Augustine and in the Flagler Beach area."

Accidental Damage: In case of any accidental damage, we’ll assess the issue internally to decide if and how much the deduction or repair cost will be.

Noise and Parties: Enjoy your vacation with lots of laughter and fun, but no parties, events, performing artists, DJs, or bands are allowed at any time. Keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM and be respectful of the neighbors at all times.

Occupancy: Do not exceed the maximum occupancy for the house (6) at any time.

Smoking/Vaping: No smoking or vaping. Evidence of smoking/vaping will incur a $500 additional cleaning charge.

Service: This is a short-term vacation rental, not a hotel. No daily cleaning or laundry services provided. If you wish to arrange additional cleaning services, please contact management.

Alarm System: Do NOT attempt to use or arm the security system. You could be charged a false alarm fee due to a police response.

Boat Lift: Do not attempt to use the boat lift. Owner may dock their boat during your stay.

Pool Heating: We offer pool heater from October 1st to April 30th.

Temperature Setting: The pool heater is set to a temperature of 80°F, starting at 10 AM daily for approximately 8 hrs/day.

Climate Considerations: In Northeast Florida, there are days during the winter months when air temperatures may not adequately support pool heating. Heat pumps are effective in climates where average daily air temperatures during pool season exceed 60°F. Please consider this climate information when booking, as it may affect swimming comfort during colder periods.

A studio with a partial wall that creates a secluded bedroom with a queen sized bed. Comfy sectional couch with a 40" smart RokuTV. Full kitchen equipped with basic essentials. We have a large walk-in shower with a sunroof, that almost makes you feel like you're showering outside!

We have art from various local artists that is available to purchase. If you see something, and you love it, you can take it home!

* if you would like to bring your own linens (sheets and blankets for queen bed and towels) I will deduct $20 from your cleaning fee.

- "First off, the neighborhood was so cute! I loved the treeline that covered it. The house itself was perfect. Yes it is small, but the pictures definitely show that very well. Small, but a HUGE shower. This was one of my favorite features. The host was so kind, and communicative! She was very helpful and had tons of knowledge about the area. The host was actually right next door our entire stay, which was my first time experiencing this, but turns out it was great in case of any problems. I will say we tried to use the roku tv! but it kept glitching and shutting off, however this was not a problem since we had a laptop to watch a movie! Next time i will just bring my fire stick! You can access Live TV with channels via the TV main menu.

PARKING: There is a large driveway and open carport if you prefer covered parking. Plenty of room for boat and jet ski trailers!

LAUNDRY: We offer a laundry room with washer and dryer, starter laundry pods, iron and ironing board and some basic cleaning supplies for your convenience.

HISTORIC DOWNTOWN ST. AUGUSTINE: Just a 35 minute ride north is historic downtown St. Augustine! Take a tour, enjoy the rich Spanish history, the architecture, the food and craft cocktails and all that our pleasant waterfront town has to offer. BEACHSIDE FUN IN THE SUN: Our beaches are unparalleled! We really know how to enjoy what nature has blessed us with here on our beautiful First Coast. This home is situated 5 minutes from the closest beach access! You can also drive north to one of the public beach accesses on St. Augustine Beach or Crescent Beach to park and walk on.

TURN IT UP: Want to live on the edge? There are a couple of rental shops nearby where you can rent surfboards, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, you name it! Deep sea fishing charters and boat rentals are also available in multiple places throughout town. Delivery bike rentals available via a local company. Contact me for recommendations.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: In lieu of a traditional security deposit charge or authorization hold for a large sum, we will instead charge a one-time non-refundable incidentals fee to your stay of $99. This fee acts as insurance for minor damages and covers you up to a max of $1000 of damage. You may elect to increase your incidentals fee for more coverage ($99 for $1000, $149 for $1500, $199 for $2000 and so on and so forth). *IMPORTANT: Guests must report to us any damage that has taken place during their stay before checkout, otherwise the incidental fee coverage is null and void. In this case, we reserve the right to charge the full amount of repairing or replacing the damaged items to you. Your insurance coverage amount ($500, $1000, $1500, etc) is not the max that you are responsible for. The space
This is a beautiful Queen bedroom with adjustable bed for sitting up to watch TV or read and your own microwave and refrigerator.

You have shared access to the rest of our entire 4000 sf home except for the other 5 bedrooms/guest rooms.  Need more space?  Just ask!  
Our home is a huge home that includes a hot tub, solar heated pool and a couple massage chairs, a large kitchen, family Room,  living Room, another game Room/sitting/tv watching bonus Room and more.  It's kind of like a Mini resort.  

Please take note that there is not a shower with this listing. Only a small 1/2 bathroom 9n the 1st floor. It is primarily for you but not completely private to you. There are occasional times that someone else might go in and out very quickly.

Nearby is the Family Friendly Flagler Beach.   St. Augustine is  just 30 Miles up the road.  And of course Daytona Beach is also right up the road, 27. 9 miles from our home. We are the perfect spot in between the two cities. You'll find a lot to do in Palm Coast, Flagler, Daytona Beach and St. Augustine.

After a Fun filled day, at the beach, or visiting St. Augustine, or Daytona Beach, come back, Relax and Hangout in our very Quiet Neighborhood. You will find everything you need to relax, from our hot tub, pool, 2 amazing Massage chairs,  fire pit and comfortable beds.

 We do provide breakfast fixin's such as oatmeal, waffles, pancakes, hot and cold cereals. Things like that. Bring your own bacon or sausage! If headed to the Orlando area, ask us about discounts.

Please note that our home and property is non smoking. Feel free to take a walk in our very safe neighborhood for a walk or on the blacktop walkway which the city of Palm Coast has very generously provided. 

In a common area on the second floor, we have a couch with a with a  large screen TV.   Netflix, YouTube, etc.

The kitchen is available for cooking.

 Our home  and property is non-smoking. If you are a smoker, please feel free to take a walk in our very safe neighborhood or on the great walking path that is black topped.

We live here so we are often available to help facilitate a GREAT STAY!

You will also be able to make yourself at home in our kitchen, family room and living room.

Our large swimming pool and Hot Tub is in an enclosed, 1400 square foot Lanai (screened in area). We also have a fire pit outside the Lanai. To be sure that this is not missed, we want to remind you that this is a private bedroom but you only have access to a shared half bath. Your bedroom is on the second floor and your bathroom is on the first floor.

Therefore we only accept reservations for 1 or 2 nights. This listing is really designed as a quick stop over.

During your stay
We live here, along with our Boston terrier, and other Airbnb guests. We have 4 other rooms with private baths used for Airbnb. So there is plenty of interaction between us and other guests.

We love to interact with the guests. Many times, Our guests end up in the kitchen having breakfast together.

Other things to note
Please remember our few rules requesting no thongs, drinking in moderation only, in other words not getting slammed drunk and no smoking on property. We have a wonderful safe neighborhood and/or walking path to enjoy for smoke breaks.

Please review the check in instructions for door codes and bedroom location and parking instructions.

We do have parking for 10 vehicles. That is 5 double lanes so there should not ever be any reason for any of our air BNB guests to be blocked in. If you are in one of the lanes yourself, that is great. Please go ahead and pull up in into the driveway so that people are not blocked in their view when they are leaving from the other lanes. No one should ever park behind you unless you have 2 vehicles with your party of course.

Please note that our large driveway is a 3 lane driveway designed for 6 vehicles. Please do not block 4 parking spaces with your one vehicle. There is a left lane, a right lane and a center lane. Please only use one of them. :)

Please remember that you do not have a private bathroom with shower. You do have access to a small half bathroom on the 1st floor. It is primarily for you but not completely private to you. There are occasional times that someone else might go in and out quickly for convenience sake.

We live here but when we are not home you can contact us easily through the air BNB app.

Pets are welcome with a ten dollar pet fee at booking and five dollars per pet per day starting day three. ( If you have a membership to planet fitness or a friend or relative in town where you can take a shower. Then you can reserve this bedroom for more than two nights.)
