The Cotton Mill Cottage is a newly renovated Mill House that offers the comfort and amenities of home located only 0.4 miles from downtown Simpsonville’s vibrant dining, shopping, and entertainment scene.

Downtown Greenville is 15 miles away (approximately a 20-25 minute drive or rideshare via 385).

The living area offers two large sofas, a smart TV, ottomans, throw blankets, and tables to maximize entertainment options. Adjacent to the seating area is a designated work space, including a desk, chair, and lamp.

The full kitchen is stocked with essentials, including a coffee maker, individual coffee pods, salt, pepper, and olive oil.

The first bedroom offers a king bed, smart TV and full-sized mirror. The spacious ensuite bathroom boasts a walk-in shower with traditional and rains shower heads.

The recently renovated second floor suite was converted from the attic space of an original Mill House. This area of the home includes one bedroom with a smart TV, one full bathroom, and a separate seating area with ample amenities for your stay. However, in order to access the second bedroom suite, you must use the spiral staircase. While we are confident the upstairs space is well appointed for your stay, please be mindful that there are some sloped ceiling-areas throughout the outside perimeter of the second floor due to the nature of the home’s original layout.

The washer and dryer are located in the half bathroom on the main floor. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are available for your convenience. Adjacent to the laundry room is a mudroom space that opens to the back deck.

Guests may park in the driveway on the premises. Due to the slope at the top of the driveway and position of the city sidewalk, it may be more challenging for low profile vehicles to enter and exit. Street parking is also available as an option in front of the home. Street parking is free.

The home boasts a large front porch with four rocking chairs. There is a spacious deck on the rear of the home, which overlooks the large backyard. The deck has an outdoor table with four chairs and can be accessed from the kitchen and mudroom on the main floor.

There’s also a washing machine and dryer with detergent. The only negative thing about the place is the spiral staircase, the steps are really small so it’s hard to walk up and down. Great place! Close to downtown so we walked a lot to dinner. Walk about 7 minutes or so. Close to shopping. "

This airy, comfortable house has so much to enjoy. The grounds are beautiful, with a wooded backyard and big deck for outdoor dining. Play pool, foosball, arcade games, or badminton. There are books, magazines & games, too. There is a gravel driveway extension for parking boats or trailers/small RV's. The wooded backyard is a kid's paradise.

It is beautiful and peaceful at The Artist Haven. We love all animals and have been feeding the deer that come onto the property. We also set food out for a sweet little black and white cat named Bonnie (she's a "no-touch-me kitty"). If you love animals too, would you give them the food we have supplied? If you are lucky, you may even see our "pet" groundhog, Garry.

We have this apartment is available for traveling nurses or anyone that might need a long term rental. We are 5 minutes from the hospital systems which is why we have been used many times for this reason. This place is also a short 5 mile trip to the heart of downtown Greenville where there is always something to do. This is a perfect location. We’ve had several long term rental persons who have stayed here and they loved it. We are in the center of a shopping district but still out of the way of heavy traffic. We are also 30 minutes from the home of the Clemson Tigers. If you stay one time, you’ll be back again.

The front porch swing is a great spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Grill and dine outside under the "corn crib shed" in your own designated space.

The space
You will arrive through a gated entrance (gates will be open) and come up our tree lined drive. Our home is on a private 20 acres, with lots of oak trees and open fields. A true quiet, country oasis.
We have plenty of parking. Your room is in our detached garage, so you will have your own private entrance with a lock to come and go as you please. The room is big, spacious and comfortable. The modern futon lays down flat for a bed if you are traveling with children. We have a big, open yard with plenty of mature trees.
We are a short drive from Simpsonville and/or Greenville. Just a few mins down the road is Happy Cow Creamery. An organic dairy farm with a store that sells all things dairy, local produce, jams, local honey and more. (Their ice cream is amazing!!)
A few miles the other way is Cityscape Winery. They have a wine tasting tour, pet pig and delicious wines to buy.

Downtown Greenville is beautiful. Make sure to walk across our iconic suspension bridge. You will find shopping and a restaurant for every culinary palette.

There will be a few breakfast items in your room complete with homemade coffee cake.

This home sits on 2.5 acres. Looking out the back from the Main House, you'll see old barns, a guest cottage known as The Canning House, the neighbor's cows and a large fire pit. Sitting out front gives you a completely different vibe as the home sits among a grove of pecan trees right on Main Street. The elementary school and fire department are just across the street. Inside there are 3 bedrooms, 1 ensuite bath, 1 hall bath, den and dining room. There is also a cozy sitting area in the foyer for quiet chats or waiting for the rest of your group to head out the door. Each bedroom has a TV, vanity/small desk that can be used as a work space or makeup area and a large mirror.
