This beautiful lake house on Lake Greenwood boasts 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, hardwood floors and an open living area with a wall of windows facing the lake. It has a spacious great room with a stone fireplace and gas logs. There is one bedroom and bath on the main level. Two bedrooms and bath on the second level and one bedroom and bath on the basement level. It has a large wraparound deck that overlooks the lake and has a walkout basement with a bedroom, bathroom, second kitchen and open game room with a ping pong table, 50" flat screen TV, foosball table and dining area. The lower patio has a Gas Weber Grill for those family barbeques. You can relax while the food is grilling with a beautiful view of the lake. The patio also has a picnic table for those outdoors dining experiences. Two 12 foot Old Town Loon Kayaks are available to renters for a scenic cruise around the lake. One of the kayaks is a fishing kayak if there is a fisherman in your group. The property is located only 9 miles from the state park and 15 minutes from downtown Greenwood. There is a gas station and large grocery chain less than a mile from the lake house for added convenience. We are also located near 5 golf courses to challenge the golfers in the group.

As you may already be aware from our reviews, we are known for having a sparkling clean lake house. For your safety, we have put into place additional cleaning and disinfecting.

Our dock is well suited if you want to bring your own boat and tie up during your stay. We have doc cleats and bumpers on one side of the dock.

Spend a relaxing vacation watching the gorgeous sunsets on 'Lake Greenwood', or dining over looking the peaceful big water views. The house is perfect if you want to sit back and read a book in the quiet den or watch a movie on the 55 inch smart TV's, while the others are entertaining in the bar area or sun room. You can also have a great time fishing right off of the private fish pier just a few steps to the water. We are known for plentiful Bream, Shell Crackers, Bass and Catfish. For those of you that are nature lovers and trying to keep fit, take an early morning walk in the tranquil neighborhood, you may sight some deer, rabbits, fox and wild turkeys (and a few neighbors walking their prize pets!). We also have sights for the bird watchers: Bald Eagles, Egrets, Purple Martins and Herons.

If you are more adventurous and want to get out we have many local restaurants, Tiki huts, & quaint bars that offer live music or karaoke by water and land. We even have an award winning Barbeque restaurant (Lee's Barbeque) in the area for that down home cooked southern meal.

The'Greenwood State Park' on the water also has picnic areas and an interesting museum for
historical facts about the area.

If you are bringing your boat put in right here on the private boat ramp, you may want to pull up onto the local sandbars and cool off or play a game of volley ball. {Goat Island} is also a resting area that boaters can pull up on to the beach and relax. Take a ride to the dam or check out a quiet cove for fishing. The lake is 20 miles long with 212 miles of shoreline and 11,400 acres so there is quite a lot to be explored.

Amy's Mink is a great opportunity to disconnect from life's fast pace and reconnect with yourself and your family. It's right on the lake, with a private boat ramp and a short pier for your use. The cabin's a rustic place, nothing fancy, built out of a picnic shelter by my great-grandfather and brought up-to-date by my uncle. Our wish is to keep this place special and unique and to share our family vacation home with yours. We love the easygoing nature the cabin brings out in us, and we hope you do, too!

The cabin is a nice balance of new and old. Our family enjoys the stereo while cooking or playing board games and cards. The kids fish off the pier and roast marshmallows in the bonfire pit. There's access to WiFi and a Smart TV for your convenience, but we encourage our guests to spend time in the lake, reading, or relaxing in a way that is much easier to do when we're disconnected.

The cabin consists of a large common space (one pull-out couch with a queen mattress), two bedrooms (one with double bed, one with queen bed), bathroom, and kitchen. There is an outdoor shower and a large deck with a picnic table and gas grill. The pier is nice to watch the sunset or read, but only in the summer is the water really high enough to tie your boat. The water level drops in the winter and makes the pier inaccessible by boat. People have told me they still use the boat ramp and just return their boat to their trailer during this time.

The cabin is perfect for the summer but can be chilly in the winter, as the floors are concrete. For AC, there are units in each room and a large unit in the common space. For heating, there are electric space heaters in each of the bedrooms and bathroom. You can set them as you see fit.

Entrance to the cabin is on the lake side. There is a Smart lock on the door for easy entrance. Renters get their own personal code, which is given upon booking. Self check-in makes it easy for you to arrive at your leisure. There is a motion light on the side of the cabin that will light up if you arrive after dark.

Guests have access to almost everything, including the boat ramp. The only areas off-limits are the sheds in the backyard and the small attic space above the kitchen. Nobody lives on-site, so you have the property to yourself and are asked to take good care of the space. If you notice anything -- downed tree, shower leak, etc. -- please let me know me immediately so it can be taken care of.

The cabin is about a 25-30 minutes' drive from Greenwood and Clinton, which is far enough away to where you can really experience the peacefulness of the lake but close enough to make a trip to pick up groceries and other necessities.

The main house is 2 bedroom/2 bath. One bedroom has a king bed and a twin bed with a twin trundle (sleeps 4). The second bedroom in the main house has a queen bed. There are two bathrooms, a laundry room, living room with Roku equipped TV and two reclining sofas, and a full kitchen with kitchen table.

Guest House:
The guest house has one bedroom with a queen bed, a kitchenette with a mini fridge, sink, and microwave, a large sitting area with a sectional sofa and Roku equipped TV, a wall mounted collapsible table/desk, and a bathroom. The sectional sofa can be a great additional sleeping space and is large enough to comfortably sleep two adults. Additional blankets and sheets provided.

Full rules, additional information, wifi password, restaurant suggestions, etc are included in the house manual that will be available to you on the Airbnb app/website after your reservation is accepted and confirmed. We also keep a copy in the house that you will have access to during your stay.

Several grocery stores are also an easy drive. My 15 year old really enjoyed the hammock. Adam was accommodating and checked on us to make sure we were taken care of and had what we needed."
