- "We throughly enjoyed our few days at the cabin!! Everything was clean and very comfortable. Communication was amazing and always very prompt! It was very close to the State Park (pass available for use at the cabin), which has great facilities and provides lake access. We brought our large boat and although the loop around driveway is on a hill, we finally figured out the best way to park the boat. The new hot tub is incredible and really added to a relaxing week! Even with the rain, we could sit on the porch and listen to it hitting the roof! If looking for some authentic Mexican food, drive to Mary’s Grill House. It’s just a carport and lawn furniture, but the selection is huge and food was delicious! The only downside was the inability to watch TV in both living areas simultaneous as the spiral staircase makes the space open to the upstairs. It was just as comfortable though and would be great for games or reading. Would highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat!!"

Get the family and friends together for memories at the lake! This waterfront lake house with private dock has plenty of outdoor living space and is nestled at the end of a quiet cove. You can let the kids swim and explore on paddle board / kayaks without worrying about boat traffic, or go for an adventure yourself! Two (2) kayaks, two (2) paddleboards and an assortment of life jackets are provided at no additional charge. There are lots of great hiking trails in the area (even if the water is too cold to swim) and the leaves are spectacular in autumn.

The location of this home and dock are ON Lake Keowee, but only a 5 minute drive from Lake Jocassee and Devil’s Fork State Park. Enjoy a quiet morning cup of coffee or peaceful sunset from the large screened porch or lower deck overlooking the lake and cove. There is a path with ~40 steps down to the lower deck shown in the photos.

Winter guests enjoy the wood burning stove after a hike on one of the local trails and the outdoor fire pit is a great spot to catch up with family members. During the Spring and Fall the fire pit is home of the storyteller and s'mores!

- "This house is in a great location to be able to access both Lake Jocassee and Lake Keowee. It was nice, clean, and private. I loved that it had a fenced in front yard. Appliances are dated but all in working condition. It had everything we needed but I did miss having my Keurig (no big deal). There was not any WiFi but we did have cell service. The owner was very accessible for questions. I would rent here again next time we come back." - "Great location, clean, all the conveniences of home."

Our Lake house is located in a small secluded gated community of Turtlehead. We are located on a safe cozy cove with easy access to the main body of Lake Keowee. Boating, Skiing and fishing are readily available immediately off our dock. The house is a very short walk to the dock and the lake, with approximately 20 steps from the house. The lake is also accessible by using a golf cart and a cart path from the driveway directly to the dock. Turtlehead also has a community boat launch with courtesy dock. There is a neighborhood pool right across the street.

The home is great for a multi-generation vacation. Good access for all. Very kid friendly. Three level home, with completely finished lower level. Satellite TV service, with 2 televisions, each with VHS/DVD player.

5 Bedrooms:
1. Large Master Bedroom on main floor, with King Bed, Jacuzzi Tub and Shower.
2. King Bedroom on upper level.
3. Queen Bedroom on upper level with daybed with trundle bed.
4. King Bedroom on lower level.

The main floor has a great open living area containing kitchen and family room. There is a gas fireplace and great windows with views to the lake. A TV with DVD/VCR is available. There is a large kitchen table that seats 10-12. Off the main floor is an open deck with gas grill, and a screened-in porch with table and chairs for comfortable outside eating. Great views of the lake and boat dock.

The upper level has as a sitting area, plus the 2 bedrooms and full shared bath.

The lower level is finished with the 2 bedrooms, full bath, bunk area, air hockey table, Foosball table, and an entertainment area with TV and DVD/VCR. There is a lower deck area with porch swing off the lower level. Views of the lake and boat dock.

Robinson Lake Front Lodge on Lake Jocassee
This cozy mountain lodge sleeps 10 and is located directly on Lake Jocassee. The house includes a dock with a newly extended ramp and tie up for boats. Lake Jocassee is located in the upstate of South Carolina in a pristine mountain environment. With its crystal clear water and huge depths the lake is perfect for swimming, boating, skiing, fishing, and any other water activities you can imagine. The mountains are also a great place for hiking. There are a number of great hikes within a short drive from the house.

Located in Salem, SC this mountain home is a truly peaceful place for a retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. Great places to visit while you are in town include Highlands, NC (45 min from the house) and Cashiers, NC (25 minutes from the house). Guests who will be flying in may want to consider airports in Greenville, SC (about 1.5 hours away), Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC (both about 2.5 hours away), or Ashville, NC (about 1.5 hours away).

The house was built in 1984 by Bill Robinson and his son Drew and has been in the family ever since. Each room has a different wood paneling. The main room is wormy chestnut, while the bedrooms are oak, pine, cypress, and ash. The house will sleep 10 in beds but there are also 3 comfortable sofas. No linens (sheets or towels) are provided. You will need to bring all the linens that you needs for your stay.

Access to the Water:
The house is directly on the water. There is a floating dock with a ladder and full tie-up for boats. A new ramp was recently installed to allow continuous access to the water regardless of the water level. Floats or tubes for lounging in the water are great items to pack because the water is deep at the dock.

This is a great house for a boat. If you don’t bring your own they are available for rent. Pontoon boats are great for cruising the lakes, ski boats are great if you enjoy water sports, and kayaks and canoes are perfect for exploring nearby waterfalls and rivers that feed the lake. Maps and boat rentals are available at the store at Devils Fork (at the boat landing) or on their website. There are no gas pumps on the lake, so you must either take your boat out of the lake to gas it up, or you can bring your own gas containers that you can fill up and carry to your boat.

No dishwasher, phone, or cable TV. Has 2 TV's both with VHS and DVD players. Home is in a residential area of approx. 14 other families on two points, there are no other rentals and owner lives next door to Mobile home. Elevation is 800 ft. 15 miles to NC line and 2200 ft. elevation, 55 min. to Highlands, NC elevation approx. 4000 ft. Lake Keowee is in the foothills of the Blue Ridge/Great Smoky Mtns. Lake is 25 miles long with 388 miles of shoreline. Mobil home is within a mile of the upper end of the lake. Lake Jocasse dam is a mile away north and Lake Hartwell dam is 24 miles south via water. If you want to spend time on Lake Jocassee, the lake above Lake Keowee, you are about 3 miles from the Jocassee boat ramp at Devil’s Fork State Park. Jocassee is a very beautiful lake.

Arrival and Leave Times: Check in time is 3 PM on day of arrival and if no one is occupying the property before you, you can come earlier.

Check out time is 11 AM on day of departure, but again as stated above if no one is renting the property after you, call and you may get permission to stay later than 11 AM.

The Jocassee Tiny House is nestled on 13 acres of land near beautiful Lake Jocassee. On the property, you will find a little creek and an orchard of very young fruit trees (apples, pears, and peaches). Additionally, you might find blueberries, blackberries, and muscadines. Enjoy your coffee on the porch with the first sunbeams of the day. There’s a fire pit for bbq and s’mores. On a clear night, you can't beat the view of the stars in the night sky. You may even catch a glimpse of wildlife.
There is a wildlife camera on the property when entering the driveway and a security camera on the front porch overlooking the patio and/or front porch. If you feel uncomfortable with the security camera you're welcome to unplug it, but you need to plug it back in before leaving the property.

- "The house is tiny, but very cozy, private and well equipped. It worked well for our family of four. It seems to have a few childproofing features for those with little ones. It’s less than a mile from Devil’s Fork state park and it’s boat ramp. The driveway is steep, but there’s plenty of room at the top of the driveway to park a truck with a small boat trailer as long as you don’t pass the telephone pole (neighbor’s property beyond it, to the west). If you like a scenic drive or a boat tour of the Water Falls on lake Jocassee its just a few moments away. Some enjoy the Adventures of the white water rafting on the Chattooga river.

2/3 mile from the State Park boat ramp, it's a short drive or a brisk walk away from one of the most beautiful clear lakes in the US. Kayak rentals and boat tours are available from nearby businesses.

Just over an hour from the Greenville-Spartanburg area, and about 30 minutes from Clemson. An hour and a half beautiful mountainous drive from Ashville, NC. The house is located adjacent to Devil's Fork State Park, and guests have access to all the park has to offer. The house is "behind the entrance" to the park, which makes it and the park accessible even when the park is declared "full" by the Rangers.

Please be aware that, like many locations near mountains and lakes, we are “out in the woods.” With that closeness to nature you also will encounter some critters. There are bears, armadillos, etc. on and near the property. Please be especially mindful when bringing pets with you. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1960s bungalow has been lovingly restored with the discerning traveler in mind. You’ll find all the modern conveniences of a 5-star villa with the privacy of 2 acres and a state park as your backyard.

Sip your coffee on the huge wraparound porch, then explore the mountain stream and discover hidden waterfalls and pools throughout the estate. You’ll find the rare Oconee Bell along the creek bed, wild ginger and more native plants to the Jocassee Gorges region of South Carolina.

What about getting on the lake? In partnership with JB Boards, South Carolina’s own most beautifully designed stand up paddleboards, you will find 2 boards included with your stay. Get out there and go for a paddle and experience Lake Jocassee offshore. A truck or large SUV will be best for transporting boards to the lake. Use cam buckle straps when strapping boards to the roof of a vehicle.

One of only 2 temperate rain forests in the United States, Jocassee Gorges and the Cascades in Washington state. Incredible wildlife viewing and fishing. Hiking and mountain biking can be found throughout our area.

Devil’s Fork State Park is directly adjacent our property. The entire backyard is state park, very private. Yet, we are only 1/3 of a mile to the beaches and boat ramps. One can walk, ride a bike or drive their car to the park.

Cashiers and the Highlands are a short 45 minute drive through the beautiful mountains of North Carolina.

Seneca and Clemson are also about 40 minutes and Greenville a quick 1:15 from the bungalow.

West Union and Walhalla are the closest towns, about a 15 minute drive.

The Jocassee Outdoor Center is next door to the bungalow and can outfit all your boating/camping/fishing needs.

So clean. So relaxing. So fun! The kitchen had everything we needed. The grounds were from a storybook. My 8yr old son and friend must of slid down the mini sliding rock a gazillion times, while we enjoyed the firepit. The convenience to Devils Fork is unmatched. We rented a boat for a few days. It was ready for us on the dock every morning. We loaded up the killer JB paddle boards that were provided by the owners and got to explore the Jocassee Falls upclose! Even behind them! Was magical! We pigged out one night at Habenros up the road, hiked Yellow Branch and Whitewater Falls plus explored Cashiers for an afternoon..bringing home so many goodies from the Farmers Market. Likely our best vacation and a while. Our posted pictures were so gorgeous , family and friends have been asking for the link for the bungalow like crazy. If you can add this feather if an experience to your hat.. you should!!! Can’t wait to go back! Oh and the owners were 💯 ! Easy. Responsive. And Clearly cool folks!"

Lake Jocassee is a few hundred yards through the woods out the back door if you like a good hike, but it is much easier to just drive 1 mile to Devil's Fork State Park and enjoy the swimming area there. The boat ramp is just a minute away and you can park a boat and trailer at the house overnight. A PARK PASS IS INCLUDED that will allow your group to use the state park swimming areas and boat ramps for FREE. Plenty of boat parking is at the home.

The House that represents the Spirit of Jocassee. Nestled amidst the tranquil beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, our home offers a haven that sleeps 10 and is directly on the waterfront of Jocassee with 600 feet of lakefront! The house includes a dock with an extended ramp, a boat slip if you decide to rent a boat with tie offs. A tram can bring you down to the floating dock, as well as bring you back up to the house, or you can walk down the stone steps (these are uneven please walk with caution). There are single and double seated kayaks, a canoe, life jackets, and water rafts/toys for your enjoyment! This 3,500 square foot house was built facing the East in 1995 by the owner and his two sons. You get to wake up to a beautiful sunrise and watch the
light of the setting sun go away on the mountains! You get incredible views from the front deck! The house was made using 175 year old hand hewn timbers - a mixture of oak, cherry, and chestnut along with southern heart pine flooring. The house has a personal touch to it, with unique trinkets placed in fun places around the house. Whether you are embarking on a scenic hike to explore hidden waterfalls, casting your line for a day of fishing bliss, skiing, tubing, or simply unwinding on a leisurely boat ride, Lake Jocassee enchants visitors with its timeless charm and undeniable allure, leaving a lasting impression on all who have the pleasure of experiencing its wonders.

- "Gorgeous home with lots of open dining, living and kitchen and plenty of areas to hangout. Kitchen was stocked with more than we anticipated which was great. Backyard with covered patio, hot tub and separate fire pit area was relaxing and great place to bird watch. Only thing we wish was mentioned was that even though you’re less than a mile from Devils Fork State Park you cannot walk there safely. If you go on a busy Summer and a Saturday go online and reserve your parking a week in advance to ensure you get in if the park reaches capacity (which it almost always does by 9am). It was a 3 min drive to the park and if you go later in the day it’s a non-issue. Overall great experience for family and friends and highly recommend. "
