About this space
Needing a place of quietness to get away and unwind? Our Place is ideal for relaxation, sit on the porch & watch horses and cows graze as you soak up the sunset views! It will comfortably sleep 4 adults but if you have 1 or 2 more and need a floor mattress, just ask! There's a fully stocked kitchen if you care to cook in and nearby restaurants for dining out. We are less than 10 min to Abbeville, 12 min to Due West, & 17 min. to Diamond Hill Mine.

The space
The Parlor Two is our 2nd apartment (hence the name! :) in the farms actual former milking parlor, renovated fully and new in April, 2023. No worries, you'll have the place to yourself as our son occupies the first apartment and has a busy work schedule so you likely won't hear or see much of him.

With open fields, roads to walk, and animals to see, it'll truly be a place to relax. Our Golden Retriever, Mia, will no doubt meet you with a friendly wag and a rock in her mouth, begging you to throw it for her. (Ignore her if you wish!) We live right across the yard but you'll have plenty of privacy to come and go at your leisure.

Our space offers a kitchen/living great room, two private bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and one with bunk beds. The bathroom has a tub/shower.

We have a Smart TV in the Living room which you can use to sign into your own account such as Netflix, Hulu, You Tube TV and etc.

There is parking designated for your stay. Once you enter our driveway, straight ahead and a slight right is the paved parking lot for the parlor.

We prefer no smoking but if you must, please refrain from it less than 20 feet from any buildings. By request, we will gladly accommodate late checkouts if there are no new guests coming in the day you leave.

Get away from it all at our Green River Log Cabin situated only a few feet off the Corp of Engineers property line on Richard B Russell Lake. Come enjoy our beautiful cabin in the woods with the added benefit of the lake being only a few hundred feet (3 minute walk) from the cabin via a marked walking trail. Your family will have acres to explore, hike, and play. Your dog will be in heaven if you bring him/her along!

The Cabin:
With only 400 square feet, it's best for a couple or single family, but sleeps up to 8. There are queen mattresses in the master bedroom, upstairs loft, and a queen pullout couch. There are also two built-in twin bunk beds. Upgraded kitchen with granite, stainless appliances, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. Full bathroom with shower/tub. Large screened porch with a ceiling fan and room to relax, as well. We recently added a huge covered porch for added enjoyment outdoors.

The Property:
Coldwater Point Cabin is situated towards the back of a very private 26 acre lot surrounded on three sides by Lake Russell with over 4000 feet of lake frontage. There are several walking trails throughout the property along with a fire ring for campfires and s'mores. We provide a canoe for our guest to use during their stay. Make sure you bring a fishing pole for the crappie, bass, catfish, and bream in the coves. At night, take a stroll the field at the top of the hill for some great star gazing while listening to the coyotes, owls, and whippoorwills in the distance.

Nearby:
We are only about 8 minutes from Richard B Russell State Park. Arrowhead Point Golf course is a must for golfers and the park also has a large sand beach, hiking trails, boat launch, and Frisbee disc course. Be sure to check out Blue Cielo Farms winery just down the road! It's about a 20 minute drive to Elberton, GA where you'll find restaurants, grocery stores, and other things to do. Athens, GA is around 45 minutes and worth a visit if you need to fill your time on a rainy day.

Our cabin is remote! Cell phone service is non-existent to spotty, at best, and we do not provide a phone or internet. Plan to be "disconnected" during your stay and enjoy the peace and quiet! This is the perfect place to get away from it all!

This lakefront property is a newly renovated modular home that is large enough for several families to vacation together! Offering 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a large kitchen and a dining area with seating for 12. This home has enough room for everyone to spread out and enjoy their time.

There is a master suite with a king bed and full bathroom including a spacious bathtub and double sinks.

There are 3 queen bedrooms. All three have large closets for storage.

The bunk room includes 4 beds and a futon so it can easily accommodate 6 people and is perfect for teens and young

The outside amenities include an extra large, partially covered deck that offers a beautiful view of the lake and plenty of entertaining and dining space equipped with a grill. There is also a waterfront deck that is perfect for fishing, sunbathing and a dock for storing your boat.

- "Really enjoyed our girls weekend. Lots of room to be together in the main room, patios and dock. Everyone enjoyed swimming off the dock and playing bean bag on the deck. Screened in porch was a great place to read or listen to music and watch the lake in the morning. Kitchen has everything we needed, and plenty of room to keep a weeks worth of food in the 2 fridges. Loved our stay. Great place to be with a group of friends. We will come again with our kids and extended family!"

- "This is a fairly new property in development stage, but its peace and somewhat secluded away from boating and lake activities, like a cove to yourself. There is an abundance of wildlife to share the property, nothing to worry much about, after all it is on the water. If you bring a boat, please take your time backing to boat ramp, it's a blindside back and 4wd wound be helpful to have as part of the ramp is gravel. The peninsula with the fire pit is a great spot under the trees to relax and fish. Wifi and phone is a little sketchy depending on your provider. The couch and rocker will put you to sleep with ease. We very much enjoyed our stay."

The space
Our lake house was built approximately 25 years ago and has been recently renovated. It has brought our family a lot of joy through the years and we are delighted to be able to share it now with others. There are 2 bedrooms with a queen sized bed in each. We have an extra full size mattress for a floor bed if needed. The house has 1 full bathroom with a tub/shower unit, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner that is supplied along with plenty of towels and washcloths. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, glassware, dishes, toaster, coffee pot, coffee, and more. Your kids will enjoy the toys and books! It has a spacious living room that is lined with windows overlooking the lake with plenty of comfortable seating. We have a smart TV with fast internet to access your favorite streaming services.

Your home away from home on South Carolina’s hidden gem, Lake Secession. Private wooded drive opens up to phenomenal lake view with shallow water entrance. Great for water sports, swimming, fishing and relaxation. If swimming isn’t for you, many beautiful reasonably priced golf courses are near by. Only 10 miles from Anderson & 36 miles to Clemson Stadium. Pull your boat to the dock or just enjoy some of our non-motorized lake toys. You’ll love it so much you want to come back year after year!

Secluded driveway and wooded back yard ensure privacy. Our 2+ plus acres give you plenty of room to explore. Open graded yard allow for for space to play yard games, easy access to water and incredible views of the lake. Lake is perfect for swimming, boating, fishing or just to relax by. Dock allows morring for up to two 20ft boats. We have shallow water beach entrance so it’s safe for little ones to play. Adirondack chairs surround the fire pit. Two level deck allows for outside dining and lounging space. Both charcoal and gas grills available. Plenty of water toys including 3 kayaks, stand up paddle board, and lots of noodles and tubes. For rainy days or quiet evenings we have tons of board games for your use. House includes washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen , dishwasher, free WiFi, 50” flat screen smart tv, Apple TV, Direct TV, TV in master bedroom with Roku and Direct TV, newly renovated Master Bathroom with jacuzzi tub , new furnishings and much much more.

Lower deck has firepit and is only a short distance from the dock. Grill is located on 2nd deck. Main living areas upstairs and downstairs. Large rooms and a wrap around couch downstairs that has 2 pull out queen beds. 10 minutes to groceries and only 20 minutes to historic Abbeville.
