This is a beautiful, cozy and sophisticated little 2 bedroom/1 bath house you will call your home for the time of your stay in Spartanburg sleeps of up to 4 guests. The newly renovated house that stays on almost an acre of land is located near the heart of historic Spartanburg downtown, 5 minute drive to the Main street where most of the hassle is including great and authentic restaurants, coffee shops, music, businesses and night life.

This modern farmhouse/mid century designed place has finished renovation in 2022 and has everything new including furniture and appliances and just about everything you will see. You will love the beautiful hardwood flooring and perfectly painted white walls, owner created and finished fireplace and kitchen accent brick wall design as well as pebble bathroom flooring done exclusively by yours, and only, the owner with the pebbles brought all the way from California! The heart was put into this lovely residence and it is very loved and cared for so we kindly ask you to take very good care of it while you enjoy your stay to keep it’s uniqueness and freshness thriving!

This space is near a Duncan park which is just a few minute walk away from the house where you will love to enjoy the view of a beautiful lake where you can feed the ducks and spot water turtles resting on the water logs. In other words, it is literally a must see even if it is just a drive by! That’s not it thought! Feeling sporty? Well, there is a community tennis court just a short walk away from the house where you can sweat off the extra pounds from the delicious local authentic food as well as a short walk away from the walking/biking trail right at the Duncan park location. GSP airport is only 28 minutes away, Greenville-40 minute drive, few minute drive to Wofford and Converse colleges, minutes away from the Spartanburg Medical Hospital and much more.

Seamless check in is with electronic keypad through front porch. Guests are allowed to use entire house and yard space but be careful, the park side of the space might have some of the poison ivy around so be mindful when you are wandering around the park and try to not touch plants and growth around. Please do not drive anywhere on the grass, paved driveway is the only place to comfortably park up to two vehicles in front of the house, may fit total of three vehicles.

1) NO Smoking or vaping in house OR anywhere on the premises, (any signs of smoking or any strong lingering smell of marijuana or other smoking agents in the house will be charged with a minimum of $250), No Drugs, No Parties and No Pets allowed. Security cameras are in place and violations will be penalized accordingly.

3) No shoes in the house please.

4) Quiet hours are 10pm - 7am.

•Welcome to our fully renovated home This rental is conveniently located less than a mile from historic Spartanburg! The open concept with high ceilings allows this cozy 1950s home to feel spacious.

This house has 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom. It Comfortably sleeps 4 people with the availability of a pull out sofa chair for 5th person in one of the rooms.

* In the living room you will find leather sofa that recline with 55` smart Roku TV. We provide YouTube TV and you are welcome to login to any apps.

*You will find the full size kitchen fully equipped with everything you could need with brand new appliances! The Keurig coffee station & some tea is available for your use.

*The first room has a King size bed with 12` memory foam mattress (cooling gel technology) fitted with 100% cotton hotel quality sheets, pillows, blankets and throws. Down comforter is vacuumed sealed in closet if you get cold.

*Same set up in the next room with a queen size bed. At foot there is a sofa chair that pulls out to a single bed. But this unfortunately will block the closet door (sorry!) For this reason I state the house sleeps 4, but can easily accomodate 5 if you do not mind the tight quarters.

8I have books scattered throughout the house which you are more than welcome to read at your leisure.

8I always keep bowls for pets in the house and a leash at the door. But if you need anything else for your fur baby, just let me know!

Back private driveway easily accommodates three cars and you can park on the street our front if your prefer at your own risk. *You will need to unlock gate and drive around the block to Duncan St to use the private driveway.

*Greenville, just a 25-30 minute drive, has so much to do! The Falls Park is beautiful and a must see with waterfalls, a suspension bridge, and beautiful gardens. The Swamp Rabbit Trail is great for biking and walking. The Bon Secours offers concerts, shows, and various professional sporting activities. We have minor league baseball and hockey teams for Greenville. The Peace Center puts on plays and concerts. There is also the Children’s Museum, zoo, TONS of restaurants for the foodie, TONS of breweries, lots of parks with walking trails, Paris Mountain for lovely hiking and mountain biking trails and views of water, indoor trampoline and inflatable parks, indoor and outdoor ice skating, outdoor water parks, driving range with games and restaurant, history museum, and more.

*Overmounain Vineyard is 40 minutes or City Scape Winery and Victoria Valley Vineyards are an hour away for wine lovers who like beautiful views.

*Lake Hartwell, Lake Keowee, and Lake Jocassee are within 1.5 hours. You can rent paddle boards, canoes, boats, and tubing, water skiing, and wake boarding gear.

*Other mountain views, waterfalls, and hiking trails are 40 minutes to an hour away. There are SO many hiking trails and waterfalls to explore being by the Blue Ridge Mountains.

*You can take day trips to Columbia, SC and Asheville, NC, which are just over an hour away. Carowinds, a roller coaster theme park, is also only 1.25 hours away for a day trip. Altlanta, GA, Stone Mountain, GA,. and Charlotte, NC are 2 hours away for day trips, and have tons to do such as aquariums, zoos, history museums, parks, Coca-Cola factory, Stone Mountain amusement park, art museums, and more!

*For weekend trips during longer stays, I HIGHLY recommend the 3 hour trip to Charleston, SC with its rich history, beautiful sites, amazing food, and beaches. We are also 3 hours from Pigeon Forge, Knoxville, and Gatlingburg, TN, which has Dollywood, Titanic Museum, Ripley’s Aquarium, Believe it or Not Museum, TONS of activities, and such a beautiful drive through the mountains. These are must see cities if you are staying long-term.

The rental features two and a half bathrooms. One bathroom offers a walk-in shower and a vanity, while the other provides a tub/shower combo with a vanity. Additionally, there is a half bathroom available for your convenience.

Full of works painted, collected, and curated by a local Spartanburg artist, The Artist's Bungalow will have you feeling like you are a native Spartanburger in no time! You will love relaxing in this cozy oasis from the city while enjoying coffee or wine on the back deck and watching the birds. The Artist’s Bungalow is located ten minutes from downtown Spartanburg and minutes from Main Street. It is on a quiet, cul-de-sac road in the Hillbrook neighborhood on the eastside of town. Its location on a flood plain has also ensured that the natural wildlife has been preserved. Not only is it a bird watcher’s paradise; it is very likely that you will see a plethora of deer, rabbits, and squirrels! We have also seen wild turkey, foxes, racoons, opossums, and snakes in the woods. As for additional amenities: Play the piano as much as your heart desires! (There is sheet music in the basket next to the piano and inside the piano bench.) Read as many books as you want! (Just please leave them for future guests.) Sit out on the deck and enjoy the wildlife! (You can use the seat cushions in the closet under the stairs to make it more comfortable.) Feel free to cook! (We have a ton of cooking supplies all in the kitchen cabinets. We also have spices and condiments in the cabinet to the right side of the microwave.) Also, if you would you like a personalized art tour of the house during your stay at The Artist’s Bungalow, the hostess Catherine would love to share the inspiration behind her art – many of which she completed during her college years! (She might also bring over a bottle of wine to split with you, as you take the tour.)
