The home itself was cute and clean. There was only one shower in the Primary Bedroom so the 5 of us just had to be respectful of times in the shower but it was super clean. The owner was polite and great. We had a small snafu with the 2nd-floor central air but he had somebody over within the hour and the microwave was having an issue and they brought a new one over the next day we let him know so the owner truly cares about making your stay enjoyable. He even brought us donuts on the first morning of our stay! The upstairs was huge with its own private bathroom with a bathtub. Two televisions on the property (Living Room and Upstairs Bedroom). The two bedrooms on the first floor do not have them but by the end of our vacation days didn't really need them. The screen porch was great to sit out either in the morning or at night to enjoy coffee or a drink plus it had 2 ceiling fans in it so a breeze was never an issue. You are between 15-30 minutes from the larger towns. We would stay again and would recommend it to others who are looking for a family stay or perhaps 2-3 couples wanting a place to stay to enjoy time together."

The house is just 10 minutes from the school so it fit the bill perfectly. It sits right on a small, quiet lake and there are kayaks, a paddle boat, and stand up paddle boards. Unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy the water sports but we did get to enjoy sitting out on the deck enjoying the view quite a bit. The house was well equipped, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The shower in the primary bath is really something. Mike, the host, was easy to communicate with and very helpful. The Snack Shop on Main St in Boiling Springs is very good and inexpensive, a real old fashioned diner. Uptown Shelby is about 25 minutes away and also has some very good eateries. If we have occasion to be back in the Boiling Springs area we would certainly stay there again."

* In the living room you will find leather sofa that recline with 55` smart Roku TV. We provide YouTube TV and you are welcome to login to any apps.

*You will find the full size kitchen fully equipped with everything you could need with brand new appliances! The Keurig coffee station & some tea is available for your use.

*The first room has a King size bed with 12` memory foam mattress (cooling gel technology) fitted with 100% cotton hotel quality sheets, pillows, blankets and throws. Down comforter is vacuumed sealed in closet if you get cold.

*Same set up in the next room with a queen size bed. At foot there is a sofa chair that pulls out to a single bed. But this unfortunately will block the closet door (sorry!) For this reason I state the house sleeps 4, but can easily accomodate 5 if you do not mind the tight quarters.

8I have books scattered throughout the house which you are more than welcome to read at your leisure.

The Swamp Rabbit Trail is great for biking and walking. The Bon Secours offers concerts, shows, and various professional sporting activities. We have minor league baseball and hockey teams for Greenville. The Peace Center puts on plays and concerts. There is also the Children’s Museum, zoo, TONS of restaurants for the foodie, TONS of breweries, lots of parks with walking trails, Paris Mountain for lovely hiking and mountain biking trails and views of water, indoor trampoline and inflatable parks, indoor and outdoor ice skating, outdoor water parks, driving range with games and restaurant, history museum, and more.

*Overmounain Vineyard is 40 minutes or City Scape Winery and Victoria Valley Vineyards are an hour away for wine lovers who like beautiful views.

Private bedroom with a large full size bed, in a fixed-up 1950s house, originally owned by a picture-frame maker, in historic Gaffney very close to Limestone University (2-3 min drive, or an easy walk). In an older neighborhood, with friendly but very quiet neighbors, a great place to be. :) So not really the party spot. I have a circular drive, so there’s room for two guest cars there, and more on the street, if needed. Great Wi-Fi (1000 Mbps). I look forward to hosting you!

The space
The home has lots of great little places to hang out, so we’re never really in each other’s way, even in shared space. Apart from the comfortable living room, there’s a beautiful sunroom, front and fenced-in backyard, both with swings and places to sit. The backyard used to be the workspace of a picture-frame maker, so there are a couple of little outbuildings there, which I'm in process of fixing up. But the porch swing back there is still a nice place to hang out.

During your stay
I can be as social or as private as you prefer. I have my own private living area, so I sometimes just hang out there, or I sometimes come out to cook or be social. But I’m always available should you need anything. There is a second Airbnb room as well, but the house is certainly big enough for lots of space for 3 or 4 people.

An intimate living area and accompanying kitchen welcomes you home from your adventures. Take rest on our comfy couch as you watch Netflix (our account) or play board games located within our lift-up coffee table with hidden storage. Feel free to eat while sitting at the couch or on our console table.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil you’d need to make your own meals, so don’t hesitate to bring back fresh goods from the Gaffney Station Farmer’s Market (2 mins away). Oven and stove top included. You can always save and reheat any leftovers in the microwave from all the tasty Gaffney eateries you are sure to visit. Coffee/Hot Chocolate lovers will find the coffee station equipped with coffee granules, creamer, sugar, marshmallows, peppermints. Our station also includes teabags and a teapot for relaxing. Hydration is made easy using the refrigerator dispenser.

This space features a bunk bed in the second bedroom. Twin mattress up top and a double below. This space is great for the young ones to hang out as they have access to their own ROKU TV as well. Plenty of clothing storage to be found in either the free-standing dresser, or the drawers built into the bunk bed. Closet also has clothes hangers and a wire rack. Full size Arcade1Up Pac-Man console that includes 12 games!

SIDE PORCH
The house features a sizable porch deck with seating for two. Nestled beneath a shaded canvas sail, you can rock away your troubles and enjoy the subtle sounds of Gaffney.

DAMAGES POLICY
We work hard to keep our home in pristine condition. The reserving guest will be responsible for any breakage, missing items, damage to the building or furnishings (spills, burns, stains etc.). We understand that accidents can happen, please report any breakage/damage/spills ASAP. We look forward to hosting you!

CAMERAS
There are 2 cameras located on the premises: one facing the front door and one above the side entrance facing Buford St. These cameras actively record audio and video. All recording devices are on the exterior of the home.

This is a working farm. Please note, we do raise honeybees, and there is a garden and fruit orchard off the front porch. Bees are located in the woods far from things, but bees can travel up to 2 miles in any direction. Other animals on the property include chickens, sheep, 5 cats, and a family-friendly Goldendoodle named Brewster. Livestock guardian dogs are Sky and Scout. They are friendly, but have an important job to do, so they bark to alert us of any danger or to send a warning to possible predators.

All guests under the age of 18 are to be supervised by an adult, never left alone at the property or to roam freely without parental supervision. This is a working farm. We use electrical fences to keep animals safe but they can be dangerous if not respected.
