The Cabin at 2410 Hammond Road, Camden, can sleep six people (2Q,1F), and is 1.25 acres of the best piece of property on Lake Wateree. The Cabin, approximately 1000 sf, is the perfect gathering place for families with a large porch and outdoor eating areas, a large pier for sunbathing, picnicking, fishing or grilling on the kettle grill. There is also a fish cleaning table and sink with water in the back yard of the cabin. Our pet friendly Cabin at Beaver Creek is not fancy, but comfortable, providing a magical place that gives families the time and space to enjoy each other and the great outdoors. Whether you like to swim, ski or fish, The Cabin at Beaver Creek is the perfect place for a laid-back vacation or weekend getaway. Internet is provided.
There are two bedrooms. Guests are asked to bring their own linens for beds and bath.The larger bedroom has one queen and one double bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a firm mattress. Kitchen linens are provided.

Our home offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. This offers ample room to sleep 8 people. (the maximum occupancy does *not* include children 0 - 2 years old) We leave our home stocked with cookware & linens as well as provide Wi-Fi and cable. Pets are welcome at this lake house!

Lake front cabin with a beautiful view. A dock for jumping in, watching sunsets, or tying your fishing boat up to! Sleeps up to 10 ( counting 2 children in loft bed). Two bathrooms, a full kitchen and dining room, a fire pit, and a charcoal grill make this place perfect for enjoying the lake! We have the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning while watching the fog drift off the lake! This place is a stress free zone!

The bedrooms here are very small (especially where the bunkbeds are) but the space is very cozy and quaint.

There is a TV, DVD player and WiFi. Near by is dining and a marina to rent a boat from!

The lake is famous for hunting and fishing, there are few areas to hunt nearby and a hunting club right down the street from the house. We are about a ten minute drive by boat or car from the marina, where you can rent a boat or out your own in the water. And can drive right up to our dock and park it.

6 bedroom 8 bath house on the main channel of the lake. Lake Wateree is a 21 square mile lake in the northern part of South Carolina. This home has magnificent views of the lake or view it up close with optional pontoon rental. Two marinas within 2-3 miles. First floor (2nd story) is elevated and contains the 2nd kitchen, game room including pool table, and bedroom with queen bed and single bunk w full bath. There is also a porch the entire length of the house with 5 rocking chairs and 2 bench swings. The main living area on the 2nd floor (3rd story) contains the main kitchen and dining area, a large living room with adjacent sunroom. A balcony off dining area is perfect for relaxing and viewing the sunset. This floor also contains the "bunk house" with 4 single beds and 2 double beds. The 3rd floor (4th story) contains the final 4 bedrooms. All bedrooms have full bath attached. Two half baths on the 1st and 2nd floor.

Lake Wateree is a rural lake with less traffic. Depending on the time of year you'll have the choice of to up to 6 boat-up restaurants. Voted in the top 8 lakes in the state for fishing, with several tournaments annually. Boat 9 miles in one direction or 12 in the other direction. The Lake Wateree State Park is noted for bird watching and trails. Two catering companies available for delivery. 2 public golf courses within a half hour. Clay shooting 45 minutes away. Langford Canal Park (lily gardens, canal history, bald eagle nesting) 45 minutes away. Congaree National Park 1 hour 15 minutes away.

Table tennis and a pool table in the air conditioned garage allowed the older kids to have a late night space without bothering everyone else trying to sleep. Roku devices on all TVs allowed us to log in to our streaming services and watch just about anything we wanted. Ability to rent the owner’s boat for whatever days we wanted was much easier to deal with than going through a marina. And the 150hp motor on the Tri-toon was plenty of motor for pulling the available tubes. This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and has nice flat roads for walking or biking. Also, the owner was very responsive to our requests and questions. Excellent people to deal with."

- "This is the 3rd year our family and pets have stayed. It’s hard to find rentals that allow pets and we consider our pets family too. The grandchildren love the basement with all the fun games and space they can play. Of course the lake is awesome. All kids and grown ups love tubing and knee boarding. Hope to come back next year to add skiing for the grands since they mastered the knee board. So much fun. The location is very private and the house is very spacious and well equipped with all you ever need. Great family get away. Never disappoints. Thank you to the McKays for another great vacation."

Our relaxing retreat was built in 2010! Located along the 242 miles of shoreline on picturesque serene Lake Wateree. One of the best Sunsets on the lake! Large, open living area/kitchen. Game Room first floor with additional trundle beds, Pool Table, Darts, Board Games, and Full Bath (This should be considered a 5th bedroom on the property as there is a Full Bath). 2nd Floor has Living Room, Kitchen, Dinning (Open Floor Plan), a half bath, Queen Bedroom and Full bath. 3rd Floor has Master Suite with private balcony and full view of the lake from jacuzzi tub, and wake up in a King Size Bed with an incredible view of the lake! 3rd Floor also has a Queen Bedroom and a "Bunk Room" which has 2 double beds and twin over twin bunk beds. There is another Full Bath on the 3rd floor as well. ELEVATOR!! Fenced in lake side yard with easy access to water. Double-Decker all aluminum dock with IPE decking. Hardwood floors and fireplace. Our home is located in a residential area and some of our neighbors live year round at the lake. Due to this, our location is not suitable as a party location. There is a noise ordinance in the county from 10pm on and this will be enforced. This does not mean that you can't go fishing at midnight, it just means that we ask you to be respectful to our neighbors and not play music or disturb our neighbors late at night. We seek family oriented guests who want to relax and enjoy the lake with their family/friends. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions regarding this.

- "Spent a beautiful week at John and Colleen's place. It was nice and hot, which made for perfect swimming and boating. The grandchildren absolutely loved swimming around the dock, and finding snail shells along the shore. We were very pleased to find that the water levels were high enough that we were able to rent a pontoon boat and dock at the property. Through no fault of the owners, we were without an elevator… This was very disappointing, but we got through it. Unfortunately, this was a big issue, as the bottom floor was not accessible without going outside. Just a lot of climbing and carrying, which got more tiresome towards the end of the week. We had some water pressure issues for the first half of the week, but it seem to get better towards the end. The owners called the county to look at the meter, and a minor adjustment seem to help. All in all, we had a lovely time. The house was comfortable and mostly well furnished. Our comments/suggestions: 1) there were no wash cloths in the house, 2) very little room in the kitchen for putting away pantry items, 3) it would be helpful to have instructions for living room tv use. I must say, John and Colleen were extremely attentive to our texts, and I always heard back from them right away. We understand that the elevator and the water issues were unexpected, and not something that could be quickly resolved for our stay."

From the moment we came into the house everything was spit spot and looked lovely. The open concept kitchen, living and dining room were perfect for our family. It allowed us to interact with one another while preparing meals. The kitchen was wonderfully outfitted including extras like sugar, coffee creamer, peanut butter, spices oils, and such. Everyone slept great on the beds and all enjoyed having their own room with good sized closets. The two bathrooms are perfect size with wonderful showers, plenty of hot water and enough towels for everyone. It was so nice to have an extra refrigerator, that I do not remember being in the listing, but it was great to find. As well as a washer and dryer, which came in very handy with beach towels and such. It was so nice to have the wraparound deck and we used it quite a bit. It was also great to have the two kayaks available for us and they worked out well. We had the best time and enjoyed the house very much. I highly recommend you choose this home for your next Lake Wateree vacation. You won’t be disappointed!"

Some guests love to just stay at home, relax and take in the scenery, and others like to venture out. We try our best to provide many things to do at home, but if you are adventurous, you’re in a great location. 

The space

Launch your day from the private boat ramp (kayaks, paddle-boards and a splash pad provided). Glide on the serene waters of beautiful Lake Wateree, with nature all around you. Prefer to stay close to shore? Head down to the covered dock, perfect for fishing, lounging with a cold drink or watching your kids splash the day away. Back on land, the fun continues with yard games (badminton, corn hole, ladder ball, croquet, ring-toss and Kan Jam), and pingpong inside the game garage. Escape the craziness in the “Cozy Clubhouse”, equipped with hammock, zero gravity chaise lounges, yoga mats, and some light exercise equipment. In the evening, as you take in the breathtaking sunsets, fire up the grill, enjoy a meal outside and top it off with marshmallows and scary stories around the fire pit (2 bundles of firewood provided). Prefer to be indoors? Stream your favorite show on any of our 4 Smart TVs, grab a book or magazine, or enjoy a variety of board games.

Nestled in a deep-water cove, ideal for fishing, swimming and enjoy water activities with little-to-no boat traffic. We provide life vests (sizes ranging from toddler to XL), as well as indoor games, books and magazines.

There’s plenty of room to dine outdoors on the deck, or at the picnic table under the tree.
Fully stocked kitchen with everything we could think of. A generous amount of paper towels and toilet paper provided. Lake towels and outdoor chairs with cushions provided. Sturdy polywood Adirondack furniture.
During the cooler season, get cozy in front of the indoor gas fireplace with comfy blankets. Watch a movie, while enjoying time with friends and family.

Trailer in your own boat, or rent one at Wateree Marina (10 minutes from our home). Fish are biting! With scenic views from every room and endless activities at your doorstep, it’s the perfect spot to make lasting memories with family and friends.

Feel free to dock your boat during your stay. We ask that you please do not use the boat lift. There’s plenty of room to trailer right into the water, and tie up at the end of the dock.

**NOTE: As property owners, we bear NO responsibility for trailering in/docking/operating your own watercraft. This includes damages, theft, malfunction, in addition to personal injury or death with regard to your watercraft. This is at your own risk.

Guest access

The entire house, including the 2-bed loft, fenced front and back yard, dock, boat slip and lake are all yours to enjoy during your stay. Access to the garage for kayaks, paddle boards, ping-pong table, yard games and more. Access to the "Cozy Clubhouse" to the left of the main house to relax, sip coffee, yoga,take a nap, gather for a cocktail, play a game, swing on the hammock.

Other things to note

1) There is a maximum capacity of 8 guests allowed at any given time. 
2) We have a security camera facing the driveway entrance. It is out of view of any gathering places or private areas.

3) Please be sure to supervise your children and pets at all times. Due to the property's lakeside location and open water access, there are inherent safety risks for children and pets. Guests should exercise caution at all times, as we cannot assume responsibility for accidents or injuries.

4)There is a pet fee of $150, which allows for up to 2 dogs. If you are bringing your furry friend to the property, please note that having a fenced-in yard does not always ensure their safety. It is your responsibility to keep a close eye on your pets. We are NOT responsible if your pet escapes the fenced-in property, enters the lake, or encounters a wildlife species. When pups come to a new location, it’s natural for them to explore. Please supervise them them at all times!

- "My family and i try to do a Lake Wateree vacation each year. We were hesitant this year because of the water levels being low but am very glad we chose this property. Because of the low water levels we had our own little private beach which the kids and adults all thoroughly enjoyed! We loved the close proximity to Riverdeck and Beavers Den which made for great meals for lunch when we werent cooking. The property itself is beautiful. The kitchen is stunning and super spacious. We cooked dinner every night and enjoyed the large table and stools for seating for our group. We also liked the fact that the tvs are smart tvs so the kids could use Youtube and Netflix when we werent swimming. The decorations throughout the house are very nice. We liked the set up in the rooms with the bunk beds because it was great for the kids. I was hesitant about the wall ac units in each room but there was no need to be as they cooled great. The shower in the master is amazing! It has a rain fall shower head and great pressure for a nice relaxing shower. We got to meet the next door neighbors and they are super nice and came over to chit chat. The only drawbacks i can give is that the back exterior of the house needs a good spray down to remove all the bugs/webs and to be treated for bugs (which is to be expected being in the woods/on the water)."

- "I booked this as a surprise weekend getaway for my spouse for Father’s Day. He loves fishing and we were looking forward to a 3 night stay starting Friday and check out being Monday. The home is beautiful but I was unaware there was only 1 television in the living room. This would’ve been fine if we were able to actually go outside to fish or swim but the property is in the curve of the lake and we had no clear access to it. My spouse attempted to fish and was made aware of the property line by the neighbor. We did get to grill Saturday afternoon but we ended up coming home Saturday evening. We brought our two children, 3 & 9, and there was nothing for them to do. Between all the fees and taxes I spent $900 for an enjoyable Father’s Day weekend but we didn’t get to enjoy it and I’m unable to get a refund. Again, the home is beautiful but unless you have a boat don’t plan to be able to fish"

We welcome dogs in our home, but we ask for no cats please. When bringing a pet along, please message us with the size and breed of the dog prior to booking!

We are very close to the water - expect to see wildlife including bugs, lizards, birds, turtles, raccoons, squirrels, and the occasional deer. Regular pest treatments are done both inside and out but it is very easy for pests to slip into the house if doors or windows are left open.
Quiet hours are from 10PM until 8AM every day of the week. We have zero tolerance for noise complaints. Especially for shared units, with a shared wall or floor. Each guest has the right to a peaceful stay. Please be mindful of all neighbors.

No parties, events, or gatherings over the listed occupancy is allowed at any time. If you have more than the maximum number of guests allowed at the property at any time you are subject to an additional fee of $50/person. You will be required to leave immediately, with no refund, if any events are taking place at our home.

No smoking inside of the home under any circumstances. You will incur an additional fee of $250 if you smoke within the home + the cost of any damages. If you smoke outdoors you must dispose of any debris safely, do not discard anything in the yard or patio.

We do charge a $99 pet fee for up to 2 pets at all of our pet friendly locations. Our entire listing homes with 2 units have a pet fee of $150. If there is evidence of any undisclosed pets in the home (pet friendly or non-pet friendly), you will be charged $250 for cleaning + any additional damages.

If the house is left in a state that requires additional cleaning, we will charge a fee via Airbnb's Resolution Center that covers our costs.

Early check in and late check out for up to 2 hours is available per calendar availability, at an additional cost of $50. This must be requested through your boarding pass, and we will approve / decline after reviewing our cleaning schedule.

Pack n plays and highchairs are available for rent and must be requested through your boarding pass. These are first come, first serve. We will deliver them to the house prior to your stay, if requested ahead of time. We cannot guarantee same day delivery for any last minute requests but will have them delivered the next day.

If personal items are left behind a fee of $25 + shipping costs will be charged back to you.
