Ideal location! It's a10-minute walk to downtown Clemson, about the same to Death Valley, and just a few minutes further to core campus! The walk to all destinations is through a beautiful, wooded neighborhood. The main floor of our house has an open-plan kitchen / family room, two bedrooms both with en suite bathrooms, and a large covered porch and uncovered deck. The upper floor has two more bedrooms that share a common bathroom.

Note 1: because of Clemson city ordinance, no more than two families can rent at one time with a maximum of 10 people total.

Note 2: while the property is very close to the lake, we are not lakefront and do not have a dock.

Note 3: there is a separate garage apartment with a separate entrance that is rented by a graduate student. There are no shared spaces other than the driveway. The driveway is very wide and there is plenty of room for all to park.

The living area is an open floor plan with the kitchen and living room one large common area. The kitchen has seating for 6-8 at the table and 4 more at the bar. The living room has seating for 7 and a 65" TV. Also on the main floor is the laundry room and refrigerator.

On the back porch, you'll love the cozy sitting area. Adjacent to the porch is a large deck where you can relax or enjoy outdoor games including beanbag toss and giant Connect Four.

This home has 3 beds and 2 baths down, and 1 large bedroom and bath upstairs. Huge kitchen that opens to family room with fireplace and den. There are 2 large screen TV's to enjoy watching sports and movies. Enormous backyard that features a patio with gas grill, wood burning fire pit, adirondack chairs and hightop table to enjoy meals alfresco. Well behaved dogs are welcome at our home. There is a $100 pet fee per booking.

There's so much within walking distance that you’ll be able to park your car in the reserved space in the building’s gated and monitored parking lot and explore to your heart’s content. If you’re visiting for a Gameday of any kind, you’ll be as close as you possibly can be to Memorial Stadium (Death Valley), Doug Kingsmore Stadium, and Little John Coliseum, there’s not a single other property on Clemson campus that gets you closer to Gameday!

The Tiger Den is a STUDIO condo (~450 sqft, everything but the bathroom is one big open room), which is thoughtfully composed with all the necessities and comforts of home you could ask for. You’ll have plenty of room to relax on our cozy pullout couch and watch TV from the streaming service of your choice, and when it’s time to turn in, just fold out our Queen size wall bed and call it a night. If you want to enjoy some takeout, we have a table for 2 (or 4) waiting for you. Looking to host a culinary experience? We are NOT the place for you. Need to heat up some pigs in a blanket to bring to your tailgate? We’ve got you covered! Our kitchenette comes equipped with a microwave, toaster oven/air fryer, small fridge/freezer combo and additional beverage fridge (priorities!), Keurig, and your basic dishes, glassware and utensils. We do not provide spices or cooking oil.

The building is normally very quiet (no student rentals allowed), but on Game Days the atmosphere becomes much more lively with fans and other owners. Feel the game day ambience surround you between the boisterous media room across the interior hall and the popular tailgating lot on the other side of the sliding french doors. We love the excitement that game days bring, but take note that the noise levels can get fairly high and fellow Tiger fans’ excitement can go late into the evening.

PARKING:
You will have access to ONE numbered, uncovered parking spot on the front side of the building. You must display the provided hang tag while parked.

ACCESS:
Building and parking are secured by access codes and gate. Codes for gate, exterior building entrances, elevator and automated front door lock will be provided prior to your arrival.

SLEEPING:
We sleep up to 4 guests, but you'll be most comfortable with 2. We have a comfortable queen murphy bed that conveniently folds up into the wall during the day. Linens and pillows are stored in the bathroom linen closet. Our sectional sofa pulls out into a full sized bed, perfect for two kids or a cozy twosome - just be mindful that its a sofa bed, not a regular bed. Linens and pillows are located in the built in storage - just lift the chaise lounge to access.

KITCHEN:
You’ll have access to the basics during your trip. Four places settings including wine glasses and coffee mugs are provided, but please note that we do not have a dishwasher. Drying rack conveniently stored in the lower cabinets and a fresh sponge for each booking. If hand washing dishes is not your thing, please consider bringing paper/plastic products with you for your stay. Appliances: Toaster oven/air fryer combo, microwave, beverage fridge, small (4.5 cu. ft.) fridge/freezer combo (with ice trays), single serve Keurig coffee machine

LUGGAGE & CLOTHING STORAGE:
Feel free to use the three drawer hallway dresser. Hangers and a luggage rack are located in the bathroom linen closet. The TV console is a convenient spot to tuck away extra linens or a smaller suitcase while not in use.

TRASH:
Please dispose of your trash in the dumpster near the visitor parking spaces prior to your departure. Do not leave full trash bags in the hallway!

The listing also failed to mention that Vector Properties would be sending a separate email with check-in instructions, which made the communication feel suspicious and potentially like a scam.Upon arrival, there were no clear directions about where to find the eKey box or where to park, which added to the confusion. On a positive note, the surrounding amenities were nice, and the location overlooking the Seneca River was great. However, overall, the experience did not feel worth the price we paid. I would not stay there again."

The home is 1 mile from the edge of Clemson University, 2 miles from the Subway downtown, and 0.2 miles from a Catbus bus stop. It has 1 queen, 1 twin, 1 trundle, and 1 couch, plus a separate office. It's centrally located, but protected from noise & congestion by trees and bamboo. You'll be in your own little grotto, but a short distance from anything: ball games, classes, conferences, etc. It's great for small families, friends, sports fans, couples, solo adventurers, & business travelers.

The space
This is a newly rehabbed modernist home from the 1950s. Everything is updated from the kitchen to the bathrooms, but much of the original charm is still there: vaulted ceilings, accent windows, wood-burning fireplace, original hardwood floors.

The living room and kitchen are spacious and filled with light from the accent windows. Cold nights are perfect for entertaining with the wood-burning fire place. The Master Suite and second bedrooms have closets that run the length of the wall.

This home is great for individuals, families, or groups. Children are welcome, but please note the home is not child-proofed and does not have any baby/toddler supplies or furniture. All children should be monitored while near the fireplace.

Longer stays welcomed! Just book or inbox!

Guests can access everything, including a fully equipped kitchen and the washer and dryer. Please, clean what you use (dishes, stovetop, spills, etc.) and return everything to its place (games, remotes, keys, etc.)

Pets are occasionally allowed in the home, with additional pet fee and security deposit. Smoking is never allowed.

The interior doors are not wide enough for wheelchairs.

- "The house was very nice and in a great location for us since we were there for a bass tournament." - "Really nice property. Plenty of supplies. Nice big two bedroom with an office, nice size living room and modern kitchen. Candace had fresh flowers on the kitchen counter and bottles of water available and plenty of coffee pods (strangely no sweeteners however). There is a convenience store and a gas station a three minute walk from the property. Very difficult to find the property at night but once you know where to go it is easy to spot. It is the only property on a private dirt road tucked behind a small housing complex. Located just a couple miles from the Clemson campus. I wasn't thrilled with having to purchase $5K in property damage insurance but the price of the home was reasonable enough that this extra cost doesn't kill the pocket book. Also, wasn't thrilled with having to strip all linens and towels and starting a wash and worry about the garbage before checking out especially because there is a very early check-out (10:00 a.m.) and already being charged a decent fee for the clean-up. All said, I would definitely recommend this property and hope to stay here again in the future. My suggestion is that the owner either make the check-out time a bit later or do away with having to start the laundry before checking-out. Candace was pleasant and very easy to deal with."

- "When attempting to retrieve the keys from the automated Keysafe, the code provided did not work. I chatted with the Keysafe company and they stated the keys were not recorded as returned from the last user and to contact the property manager. Once I was able to actually speak with a person, she was very helpful and apologized for the inconvenience and was able to remotely unlock a box with keys. We get to the room (dorm) and one bedroom had wet towels and sheets hanging from everything but the rest of the area was clean. We made contact with property management and they said to just close the door and to ensure we had a clean room and bathroom and asked if everything else was ok. The smoke detector for the bedroom was on the counter in the kitchen with the battery out of it. This is a 4 bedroom off campus dorm NOT a condo rental. The furniture is very uncomfortable and the mattresses were very hard and cheap like you would find in a College Dorm setup. When returning the keys, I had to once again contact property management to unlock the box because now there is a different fob that was not with the keys. Other than the above, the unit worked for our needs."

There is a window A/C unit downstairs and a portable A/C floor unit in the upstairs master bedroom with a remote, so you can keep both levels of the property cooled to your ideal temperature.

When it's time to rest, retreat upstairs to one of the comfortable bedrooms, each thoughtfully appointed with cozy bedding and ample closet storage space for your belongings. There is a master bedroom with a comfy king-sized bed, dresser, nightstands and mirror, and a full walk-in closet. There is a second bedroom with a twin trundle bed that comfortably sleeps two, and a nightstand with added charging outlets. A walk-in closet with hangers is also in the second bedroom. There are black-out curtains and blinds in both rooms if you choose to sleep-in. Wake-up feeling refreshed and ready to take-on the day, no matter what you have planned.

Upstairs outside of both bedrooms is a full bathroom with a toilet, sink, mirror, and full bathtub/shower. Towels and washcloths are available. There is a hair-dryer under the sink. There are also four beach towels in the second bedroom closet, in case you decide to spend a day at the lake.

Outside the back, you'll find a spacious back deck where you can soak up the sun or savor your morning coffee amidst the peaceful surroundings and wild songbirds in the trees. We often see cardinals and blue-jays in the morning. There is a partial view of the lake off of the back deck and a small beach is walking distance from the property.

Tell me what sounds like the better, more relaxing option: You could stay off campus at an expensive, common, yet not so exciting name hotel and pay $450++/ night, leave extra early for the game (after making several trips to pack up your car), drive to the game and fight traffic, find and pay for an expensive parking spot, park, remember where you parked, then walk/hike your way to Death Valley. If you stay longer than a few days and prefer to cook your own meal, there is a kitchenette outside with an electric burner, a microwave, basic cookware, and a dinnerware set.

Welcome to the cozy yet spacious downstairs space in our 1970s fixer upper! Close enough to all that our beloved Clemson has to offer, but in a quiet neighborhood that has that “away from it all” vibe. You’ll love all the room to relax and spread out. Come and go using your own private entrance, and enjoy the covered patio or fire pit in our wooded backyard. Perfect for resting after a victory tailgate or a picturesque hike, come home to recharge and then set out on your next adventure!

The space
The Cozy Tiger provides multiple spots to relax, read a book, or enjoy a movie. The entire space of over 800 sq ft has been renovated and updated since Fall 2020. Our decor is an eclectic mix, but all very homey and comfortable. Besides the queen bed with mattress topper, there is a very comfortable futon (not your normal futon, we promise!) that would be suitable for one adult or 2 children, and a couch that would sleep one child.

There is a kitchenette area that's got the essentials - mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, a few paper products and all the coffee supplies you'd need.

Being the lowest level in our home, this space stays a little cooler year round - there is no access to a thermostat, but we can provide a space heater or table fan at your request.

We strive to provide all you may need to be comfortable: extra linens, blankets, some extra toiletries, bath salts, and cleaning supplies. If there’s anything you need, please let us know!

For those who want to stay ‘plugged-in’ during your stay, there is a TV, WiFi, Roku stick (personal subscription/login required to use), extra phone charger for iPhone users, and a desk space that is great for getting a few work items checked off your list in between adventures.

There is a Neighborhood Walmart 2.3 miles away for any last minute supplies to make your stay perfect. And it’s only 1.3 miles to Sikes Hall and Bowman Field on Clemson’s campus!

Enjoy a stay in this old home with a new interior in our private guest wing. You have your own door to enter and exit, your own bathroom, a kitchenette, and two rooms to yourself that can be locked from the rest of the house. The plantation-style home is almost 200 years old but the amenities are tailored to a modern traveler. Everything we can do to make your time in Clemson great we will aspire to do.

For your convenience, there is a full-size refrigerator we try to keep stocked with some drinks, a coffee maker, a Microwave, your own air conditioning unit that can be set to your desired temperature, Shower necessities, and comfortable mattresses.
Also, you are welcome to use our Big Green Egg charcoal grill. We can provide you with everything but the food!
You may also use our paddle board down at the lake. Just give us a heads-up beforehand if you want to use either of those two outdoor resources.

This is a newly rehabbed modernist home from the 1950s. Everything is updated from the kitchen to the bathrooms, but much of the original charm is still there: vaulted ceilings, accent windows, wood-burning fireplace, original hardwood floors.

The living room and kitchen are spacious and filled with light from the accent windows. Cold nights are perfect for entertaining with the wood-burning fire place. The Master Suite and second bedrooms have closets that run the length of the wall.

This home is great for individuals, families, or groups. Children are welcome, but please note the home is not child-proofed and does not have any baby/toddler supplies or furniture. All children should be monitored while near the fireplace.

Guests can access everything, including a fully equipped kitchen and the washer and dryer. Please, clean what you use (dishes, stovetop, spills, etc.) and return everything to its place (games, remotes, keys, etc.)

Other things to note
I don't have pets or smoke. Pets are occasionally allowed in the home, with $250 additional cleaning fee. Smoking is never allowed.

The interior doors are not wide enough for wheelchairs.

You will enter the apartment to see the living room, a half bathroom, kitchen, and laundry areas. The couch does fold out into a king size bed. Upstairs are the bedrooms, 1 king bed and 1 queen sized bed each with their own bathrooms.

Located in an established neighborhood very close to Clemson's campus (Corner of Cedar Lane and Broad Street) this newly remodeled home is great for a game day weekend with friends, a long term stay for work or a weekend visiting your student. Huge corner lot with lots of trees to buffer you from your neighbors. Has optional power and water hook ups for an RV (but not a waste drain).
