We've also seen coyotes, skunks and deer on the critter cam! There are gravity chairs in the meadow to watch the stars at night!
This one bedroom has a deep Serta Sleeper mattress & high-thread count cotton sheets plus an assortment of pillows, including cervical support or memory foam.

You'll love the interior of this 1 bedroom (Queen-size bed), 1 bathroom (large shower) log cabin with log walls, log ceiling beams and hardwood floors throughout.
The Log Cabin has fascinating features, like the original walk-in closet & built-in bookshelves. We outfitted the dining room with an oak table and kitchen chairs made with rodeo cowboy upholstery! In the living room there is another oak table with hand-painted bears and bear claws on it, a loveseat and 2 rocking chairs.
We provide great high-speed Internet, TV with Roku and Hulu, games, puzzles, cards, and lots of books, magazines and brochures about the area, history, events and cowboy and Native American art and culture.

The Kitchen is Furnished with a Stove, Refrigerator, Microwave, Toaster oven and Coffee maker. Cooking utensils are provided along with pots and pans, glasses, coffee cups, silverware and dish towels. There is a storage closet with brooms, cabinets and shelves for your extra kitchen items and cleaning supplies under the sink. Coffee and filters, sugar, creamer, salt and pepper, coconut oil and a few other items are provided.

The Cabin is decorated with Antique & Mid-century Modern furniture, Southwestern patterns & artwork of Native Americans, Cowboys & Arizona nature and wildlife. We did some renovations including a new refrigerator, stove, cabinets, countertops, toilet and water heater, so there's nice hot water and good water pressure for the shower!
We scrubbed the floors & logs then put a bright, fresh coat of paint in the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen & living room. We've added new curtains, door locks, a keyless entry, hardware, grill and outdoor seating. The front porch has a Flagstone floor with a bench & rocking chairs where you can sip your coffee in the morning or wine in the evenings while you watch the birds and wildlife. We've had a lot of the yellow finches, hummingbirds, flickers, mourning doves, a red-tailed hawk, Cooper's hawks, ravens, and a ladder-backed woodpecker lately who's built a nest in the black walnut tree. We also have a hummingbird nest in the chandelier out the back door!

In front of the cabin we've added native grasses & a seating area. Past the meadow Miller Creek runs seasonally after snows or Monsoon Season. Sometimes we have a mallard with a couple wives that hangs around when the water is running!
When in season, there are also irises, penstemon, salvia flowers, clematis, sweet-smelling jasmine, butterfly bushes and Chitalpa trees blooming with white blossoms almost all summer! The prickly pear also put on a show with their bright pink blossoms,

In the Bedroom, a high Queen-sized Pine Bed reigns over the bedroom with Iron Scrolling and a deep Serta Perfect Sleeper Pillow-top Mattress on top of box springs. You'll feel like the Princess and the Pea on this massive bed! Don't worry--there's a step stool to help us shorter folks! High-thread count sheets, a cottony quilt, blanket and three styles of pillows are available to you: non-allergenic bamboo, doctor-recommended, cervical support or anti-allergenic poly-fill. Wall Lamps provide lighting for night-time reading. The rustic walk-in closet holds built-in shelves for clothes, a chest with a key for clothes or valuables, plenty of room for hanging clothes, a full-length mirror and an ironing board and iron.

The bathroom is clean and bright with a window, a pedestal sink and a new toilet. Two medicine cabinets will hold your sundries and there's lots of fluffy bath towels, hand towels and washcloths! Shampoo, conditioner and soap are provided. We try to be non-wasteful with healthy products in bulk or if you prefer, you can choose sample sizes.

The Western theme continues in the Living Room meeting a Mid-century flair with loveseat, antique chairs, and a vintage rocking chair. An iron coffee table with Southwestern cutouts and a a stone top compliment the design. A TV is provided with Roku and Hulu and there is High-speed Internet for streaming movies.

We'd love to have you come visit! There are so many things to do in Prescott and surrounding areas, whether you're driving through on a short visit or staying longer. As the cowboys say in Potter's Cowboy Slang, You're "as welcome as a pat straight flush"!

• Any damage incurred on the property will come out of the damage deposit.

• Owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs on the premises. By accepting the reservation all guests (or anyone they invite) are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises.
• Check-in is 4:00 PM. Check-out is 11:00 AM. Owners may be able to accommodate other times depending on bookings.
• Guest must notify Owners immediately upon check-in if anything is wrong or damaged.
• Property is furnished and includes: Television (in cottage), refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster oven, furniture, artwork, bed linens, towels, pots, pans, dishes, glasses and flatware.
• Guest agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order.
• People other than those in the Guest party may not stay overnight. Any person visiting on the property is the responsibility of the Guest.

• Parking: Only 1-2 vehicles permitted. Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only.
• No smoking is allowed inside or outside due to wildfires, allergies and second-hand smoke. Evidence of smoking will incur additional cleaning fees.
• The Cottage and Cabin are equipped with fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and a first aid kit.
• There is no daily housekeeping.
• Linens & Bath towels are included. Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. No items shall be taken from the units. A blanket by the front door may be used outside.
• Guest may not flush anything other than toilet paper and waste down the toilet. If any feminine hygiene products, excessive toilet paper or anything else has been flushed and clog the system Guest may be charged for damages for repairs.
• Use appliances for their intended use.
• Pets are only permitted with prior approval. A Pet Addendum must be signed. A Pet Fee must be paid. Pet is not allowed on furniture. Pet waste must be put in trash. Additional cleaning fees may be imposed. Guest shall be solely responsible for pet while on property.
• Guest will not frighten, harass or engage the wildlife. Observe from a distance.
• Guest will empty garbage into large garbage and recycling bins (blue) located outside. If they're not full, leave them for the housekeepers to use, just to save on supplies and plastic in the landfills.

You may see Hummingbirds, Goldfinches, Spotted Towhees, White-breasted Nuthatches, Juniper Bushtit, Ravens, Flickers, Western Tanagers, and lately a Kestrel, when the ravens don't chase it away! We had a Great Horned Owl in the Meadow for nearly 2 months one summer! We've added an owl box and a bat box to the property! Javelina come through about every other night. They have migrated up from South America and are in the peccary family. We or our Guests have also seen Coyotes, deer, raccoons, skunks, lizards and alien-looking bugs!

This 1948 house has been updated to open the floor plan. We raised the ceiling & installed additional lighting, flooring, and plumbing. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, dishes, glasses, pots & pans. There are bamboo floors for easy cleanup & travertine countertops, along with a granite-topped bar. 2 pantries have lots of room, plus cleaning supplies & brochures about Prescott. A lazy Susan corner cabinet will hold your food or seasonings. We provide salt, pepper, coffee, teas, hot chocolate, sugar, cream, olive oil & coconut oil, plus a few other items.
We give you enough supplies to get you going but do not resupply when you run out.

The living room has a leather sofa (not a sleeper) & two chairs. Educational Magazines & Books about Prescott & Arizona are provided plus there are games, cards & puzzles for your fun & entertainment! Or step out on the deck for birdwatching or stargazing! We also have a 40" flat screen TV with cable, WIFI and High-speed internet.
The Bathroom has a shower & a bathtub with a rainshower head and fluffy towels. Several shelves & storage closets are there for your sundries.

Prescott sits at a high elevation of 5,354 ft giving us a mild climate & four seasons. We are often called the Mile-high Town so be sure to drink lots of water to adjust to the higher elevation. Prescott is surrounded by forests & the area offers five local lakes for fishing, hiking, cycling & kayaking. Prescott National Forest has 400 miles of groomed trails, biking trails & many equestrian trails. The Mile-High Trail System maps nearly 48 miles of trails around the city. Birding is also popular since we get migrations both north & south. Over 360 bird species have been confirmed in the area.

Prescott is also rich in western history, both cowboys and Native Americans. Several museums host events: Sharlot Hall, Museum of Indigenous Peoples and Phippen. The downtown Courthouse Plaza is busy nearly every weekend with art and antique shows, concerts & wine tastings. Music, film screenings, theatre & various performing arts are offered at the Elks Opera House, the Yavapai College Performing Arts Center and the Prescott Center for the Arts. Whiskey Row & the surrounding area have saloons, gift shops, art galleries & restaurants documenting the lives of ancient pre-historic Indian tribes, townspeople, cowboys & characters such as Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday and Big-Nosed Kate.

Please be respectful of neighbors & wildlife so we can continue to grow our business. And remember you are next to the forests! There are critters around & some can be dangerous, like black widows spiders, mountain lions & javelina. In case you didn't know, Javelina look like hairy pigs but are actually in the peccary family & roam in herds. They have 1.5" tusks, poor eyesight but keen noses. They're pretty casual & timid, rooting in the dirt for grubs, but if they're startled, aggravated or protecting their youngsters they can attack. Watch from a distance and make noise so they know you're there. Do not scare or charge them or leave food, pets or children unattended. And keep the gates closed so they don't eat the garden!

• Rates are subject to change until reservation is confirmed.
• Additional fees & taxes may apply.
• 100% Refund if cancelled at least 30 days before arrival date.
• Any damage incurred on the property will come out of the damage deposit.
Pets are only allowed with Owner’s permission, signed Pet Agreement and payment of Pet Fee. Evidence of pets will incur additional cleaning and/or damage fees from damage deposit. Guest assumes all responsibility for pet.
• Owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs on the premises. By accepting the reservation all guests (or anyone they invite) are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises.
• Check-in is 4:00 PM. Check-out is 11:00 AM. Owners may be able to accommodate other times depending on bookings.
• Guest must notify Owners immediately upon check-in if anything is wrong or damaged.
• Property is furnished & includes: Television (in cottage), refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster oven, furniture, artwork, bed linens, towels, pots, pans, dishes, glasses & flatware.
• Guest agrees to keep the property & all furnishings in good order.
• People other than those in the Guest party may not stay overnight. Any person visiting on the property is the responsibility of the Guest.

• Guest agrees to City Ordinance: Noise must be kept to a minimum from 10 PM to 8:00 AM.

• Parking: Only 1-2 vehicles permitted. Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only.
• No smoking is allowed inside or outside due to wildfires, allergies & second-hand smoke. Evidence of smoking will incur additional cleaning fees.
• The Cottage, Casita, Cabin are equipped with fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and a first aid kit.
• There is no daily housekeeping. We try to leave a backup supply of TP, paper towels, etcbut we do not resupply when you run out.
• Linens & Bath towels are included. Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. No items shall be taken from the units. A blanket by the front door may be used outside.
• Guest may not flush anything other than toilet paper & waste down the toilet. If any feminine hygiene products, excessive toilet paper or anything else has been flushed and clog the system Guest may be charged for damages for repairs.
• Use appliances for their intended use.
• Pets are only permitted with prior approval. A Pet Addendum must be signed. A pet fee must be paid. Pet is not allowed on furniture. Pet waste must be put in trash. Additional cleaning fees may be imposed. Guest shall be solely responsible for pet while on property.
• Guest will not frighten, harass or engage the wildlife. Observe from a distance.
• Guest will empty garbage into large garbage & recycling bins (blue) .

Back yard is mostly fenced but driveway is open to street.

It was historical (even w it’s posted plaque up front), quaint, huge backyard for dogs, and a very short walking distance to downtown/ whiskey row. Even the north neighbors were super friendly which says a lot cuz I could only imagine the stress they may feel never knowing what kind of people will be staying next door to them. The owner is super friendly as she shared her number with me and even allowed us to go up a couple hours earlier than the check in time. Much appreciated. The home came with everything we needed and so much more w all of the kitchen utensils and appliances you’d need for an extended comfortable stay. The owner also had printed & laminated instructions which were very clear. It does make mention to spotlessly clean of any dog fur. Taking into consideration that I could only imagine what previous pets had caused to the furniture, floors, and what not, I guess I have to understand that request. My only complaint is some of the cleanliness. In the shower there was a nice chunk of shaved hair collected against a shower wall and plenty of debris and cob webs on all of the exterior home walls and furniture. I guess I’m just being nit picky bc of course I’d want to sit outside in Prescott’s amazing weather but it requires much cleaning! Overall a 5 ⭐️ stay. I truly enjoyed this home. ☺️"

As you drive down the narrow lane and pass an old stagecoach, it is easy to start relaxing and leave your cares behind. Majestic pine trees and more as the seasonal creek is lined with lush vegetation and yellow columbines in the summer.

The flagstone terrace is the perfect place to sit back and bird watch or get a chuckle from watching the playful squirrels jump from tree branch to tree branch. There is a good chance you will even see a family of deer stopping for a cool drink from the creek. There is a picnic table and a propane grill for your use.

There are plenty of trails for hiking, mountain biking and quading within a few minutes walk from the cabin. A drive up Spruce mountain will give you a majestic view of the Bradshaw mountains and the Prescott area. After a hike to Goldwater Lake for some fishing or kayaking, you can return to the cabin for a relaxing nap on the large screened in porch.

- "It Was Perfect! We've stayed in many different vacation rentals and this one is at the TOP of the list. Clean! So clean, organized, and well stocked. It was so nice that within ten minutes of our arrival, I booked it for our Christmas getaway. We slept in the King bed the first night and since we'd be sleeping in the Queen bed on our next visit, we decided to try it, and slept in it the rest of our stay, as that is the size we are used to. Both beds were very comfortable and the pillows were very nice too. The bath towels are luxurious; and in each bathroom, the host(s) provided items that one might forget; like toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, hair care items, soap and even headache medicine and first-aid ointment. The walk in closet provides plenty of space that one might need.They thought of everything. So nice! The entrance to the back patio is through the garage and even the garage is very clean. The patio is a nice little place to sit and relax. They even provide a BBQ grill to use while staying there. Like we've stated, this place is perfect. But we loved the isolated location. There’s the Wolverton Trail close by. We were lucky to see a javelina walking down the road (He/she ignored us and walked into the shins away from us), and we woke up to some coyotes yipping close by. The hummingbirds fighting over the feeder were fun to watch."

Cozy up to the gas fireplace on the chilly days and evenings. The comfortable king bed with feather comforter is positioned for you to enjoy the fire and the sunsets. The space
Booking for a private room at Wanda’s home opens at 11 a.m. MST on Tuesday, November 14 for a one-night stay for up to two guests on Monday, November 20. The stay will be priced at $16 – a nod to 2016 when we spent our first Thanksgiving together that started it all.

During your stay, you can make yourself at home and enjoy our Thanksgiving traditions alongside a few of our family and friends, by:
- Having a seat at our Thanksgiving table, fixed with everyone’s favorite holiday dishes.

The space
Three of our four bedrooms are reserved for guest's use and the bathroom will be shared with the other guests in the home. This is room #2 and includes a Full size bed and a twin air mattress (upon request). We have a large back yard with a deck, and a swing set and slide for children between the ages of 3 and 12. The Mountain Valley Park and splash pad are only 1/2 mile away. We live on the property in the master suite with our 7 yr old child.

Guests access the property by entering a secure PIN on the front door's deadbolt. Each room has is own unique key for guest security.

Guests can reach us by the Airbnb app by text or by knocking on our door. We will give guests their privacy but are open to answer questions or just talk.
