Our Magnolia cottage is located in Reidsville Georgia, we finished construction in March 2023. The cottage is 432 sf and offers a full kitchen fully stocked with pots, pans and dishes, living room with comfortable furniture, 43" Roku Smart TV, 2 queen beds with memory foam mattress and soft sheets and a bathroom with a walk-in shower all towels and linens are provided.

The unit has a Keurig coffee maker, blow dryer, iron and ironing board. We will get you started with basic amenities toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags.

We are located with-in walking distance of our local hospital and surgery center.

Our town has many great local restaurants, pharmacies and grocery store. There is also a State Park to enjoy while you visit.

I’m a clean freak and appreciated the couch being leather/pleather and NOT fabric! Communication with the owners was easy! We ran out of toilet paper and trash bags, and they delivered some to us immediately. We also asked for a later check out, and they accommodated us. The location was great! There is a Food Lion and new Dollar General across the street, and an Orthopedic Surgery Center with an Emergency Department a couple of blocks away. The only thing I would have loved is a washer/dryer. We ended up washing the towels at our kids place so it worked out, but having the ability to wash on property would have been nice; especially for a longer stay. We will definitely stay here again! It was easy to communicate with the owners, and it was clean, new and super cute!"

This is located in a remote area. It will be just you and nature! This is a narrow river with stumps, therefore, only a "small" boat with a trolling motor can be used. This is also sometimes limited. This river is not adequate for jet ski, motor boat, etc. Also, in late summer the river is so low, kayaking becomes more work than pleasure.
A total of 4 cabins and one yurt are owned by Kimberly. These are located in various locations along the river.

This cabin is located on the river bank of the Canoochee River in Claxton, Georgia. This is a hidden treasure in south Georgia. The river is great for swimming, kayaking and fishing. During most of the year a vessel larger than a kayak will not be able to navigate the river.
Note: Presently, winter months are not available to be booked. The past two winters have had excessive flooding. Host will make these weeks available two weeks at a time as the water level is adequate for access.
This is the dream world for a nature lover. The cabin is located on the riverbanks of the river. The master bedroom has a balcony that overlooks the river. Wake up to the sight of the river each morning. Stroll down the river bank to enjoy the serene sounds of nature. The second bedroom has a triple bunk bed and a queen size bed. The loft has a twin size bed.

Yurting on the Canoochee River! This is an experience that you will remember forever. This specialized 20' ft round tent is located on the Canoochee River in Claxton, Ga. Your friends will say," You are staying in a what???!" This is overlooking the Canoochee River. It will has a queen size bed, small kitchen , and living room.
Great place for a honeymoon or just a romantic get away.

Located right on the banks of the Canoochee River! Within 10 minutes is the small town of Claxton, GA. It has all the convivences of any local small town. Many fast food restaurants, moderate grocery store, and many gas stations, as well as, dollar stores.
Claxton, GA is the home of the World Famous Fruit Cake.
There are two other cabins on the property. However, the distance and woods provide a great deal of privacy.
There is no public transportation. You will have to travel a little less than 2 miles on dirt roads to get to the property.
Due to the inability to control weather conditions. The river does rise out of its banks about 3 times a year. The exact time of this happening is unpredictable. When the river ascends out of its bank, no vehicles can get to the yurt. If this occurs prior or during your stay, you will receive a refund of the days you were not able to spend at the yurt. I will contact you as soon as it is apparent that the river my rise out of its banks.
Also, on the flip side, the river can be too low to enjoy the use of the kayaks. There will be no refund if this is the case. Usually the fishing is great at this time!

Perfect couples getaway bordered by a beautiful freshwater creek on one side and the Ohoopee River on the other, offering a private UTV/ATV trail leading to private sandbar access. The majority of wood used in construction of this cabin was hand milled on site.Bring your own UTV or golf cart (or rent one) to cruise the majestic cypress, white oak and palmetto Ohoopee River bottom land. Hike on the banks of the Ohoopee River and Beaver Creek. Birdwatch on the nature and wildlife trail as we have abundant owl, hawk, turkey and deer. Forage the palmettos and the riverbank for chanterelle mushrooms to accompany your dinner. Roast marshmallows on the sandbar.

Our river is known for white sand, black water and famous redbreast fishing so bring your bait and tackle to catch cold freshwater redbreast, bream, white perch and bass. Or just sit in the sand with your toes in water that's refreshingly cool year round.

After your outdoor adventures, return to your cabin to rinse the sand off in your outdoor shower and swing or rock on the front porch. Audiophiles will enjoy the record player and classic record collection. Sit by a campfire in your yard and stargaze.

Home is fully stocked and includes high speed wifi service.

A truck or 4 x 4 is helpful on our dirt road. While you can technically walk to our private sandbar, a UTV, 4 wheeler or golf cart is highly preferred if you are taking chairs, towels, coolers, etc to the water.
***This property is located approximately 2 miles down a dirt road. At times, a truck or 4x4 vehicle is needed. The road can be very sandy, muddy and/or rough on occasion.***

Please let us know in advance of your stay if you'd like to rent a golf cart. Cart rental is currently $25/day.

You are welcome to build a fire on the sandbar but please don't cut or damage live trees on the property as it has been selectively thinned. Feel free to use any downed trees and or limbs for sandbar fires.

Please note that the main bedroom downstairs is lacking a door. We special ordered a door that never arrived and in the interim, we decided we liked the way it worked without a door! Never fear though, the bathroom does have a locking door.

I was concerned that the cabin would be too small for my family of 6 adults and 1 toddler but it was just right! The design of the cabin is unique and fitting for a river experience. This location is the epitome of a southern river campground. It feels timeless. Kim answered all my questions and concerns promptly and even checked in with us once we arrived. We got the opportunity to meet her while there, as she was attending to the properties. She gave us a tour of her other rentals and we were impressed with those also! It is evident that she has taken great care to ensure that visitors are comfortable and welcomed with each visit. We would recommend this cabin or any of her other properties to anyone and we already have, We are already planning future trips back here!"
