Fee covers both boat put in & pull out times to be scheduled between guest & host before booking.

King & Queen bedrooms each have their own 32" TV's, as well as black out curtains in case you'd like to sleep in.

The living room boasts a 55" TV, electric fireplace and queen size sofa bed. The well equipped kitchen not only offers several small appliances, dishwasher, and microwave, but also many single serve sized condiments, creamers, and sweeteners.

Drink your morning coffee, while enjoying the peaceful morning lake view from the high Adirondack deck chairs. Pass time playing one of the board games or putting one of the puzzles together on the screened porch high-top table overlooking the lake, or stretch out on the mostly shaded 2nd level deck hammock (March - November) with a novel from our cabinet. The charming lake house is the perfect place for you and your friends to relax and take in all of the serene beauty of High Rock Lake. Enjoy your casual lake living by spending your time fishing, swimming, tubing, kayaking or boating while taking in the areas amazing wildlife. You can even bring your own boat, use our neighbor boat ramp while enjoying the use of our dock. At the end of the day, start the charcoal grill (charcoal not provided), enjoy dinner and drinks with a beautiful sunset. Although you are in an established lake neighborhood, when you turn into our place you leave the hustle and bustle of the busy world behind and enjoy the peace and quiet of the great outdoors. Our private fenced in backyard is perfect for a small to medium sized dog.

The house consists of a master bedroom (King bed) with an attached full bathroom, a kitchen, dining area with a beautiful stone fireplace and a great room with a large sectional L-shaped couch on the bottom floor. On the second floor, there is one large bedroom (Queen and Twin) with a sliding glass door where you can walk out onto the upper deck. The sliding glass door has black out curtains to keep out the light and heat on warm days. There is also a spacious loft used as a bedroom (Queen and Twin). Another full bathroom and laundry room are also located upstairs. This spacious retreat would be great for one or two families with about 1600 sq. ft. of livable space.

The glass doors from the great room leads onto a covered patio where you can sit and enjoy the view of the lake while sipping on your morning coffee or enjoying your breakfast. We have a Keurig and coffee pot. If you’d like, you can walk down closer to the water and enjoy the views from the gazebo, the stone patio or the dock. The stone patio is a popular place on those colder days because of the fire pit. Bring your own firewood for a fire and roast some hot dogs or make s'mores with the use of our skewers. On warmer days the canopy of trees provides shade on the patio that makes it great for picnicking. In the summer we grow lots mint next to our gate so feel free to bring ingredients to make mojitos or add some to your iced tea or favorite recipe.

Welcome to High Rock Lake! Crane Creek Haven is a waterfront 2 bedroom 1.5 bath home which has great features that make it a perfect getaway location. It is positioned on a 1 1/2 acre lot on a semi-private area of High Rock Lake with very little congestion, but with easy boat access to the entire 15,000 acre lake.

Crane Creek Haven has gorgeous views of the lake and visiting wildlife such as Canadian geese. The lake frontage of the lot is 150 foot, and features a floating dock which allows you to dock 2 boats. It also has a private boat launch area, as well as plenty of room to park your vehicles and boat trailer.

Beautiful rustic, yet sophisticated house built in 2008. It is on a large wooded lot on the main channel of the lake with a really big water view. The best sunset view is from the upper screened-in porch, with the trees silhouetted in between. Blue herons, cranes, and many other birds and wildlife. Hike to the dam on a trail through the woods; enjoy sitting on the dock or swimming and boating off the dock in the summer.

State of the art kitchen with a gas range, double convection ovens, magnificent granite counter tops, and a natural stone bar with soft lighting. Dining area connects the kitchen to the den, which has a huge stone fireplace, comfortable Bob Timberlake furnishings, and a 63' high definition plasma television with surround sound. Wet-bar in the den has a built-in ice maker, wine rack, and handy sink. Screened windows open in front and back to allow a wonderful cross breeze if desired.

Off the kitchen is a screened-in porch with rustic rocking chairs and tables. The huge deck, connected to the kitchen and den, is equipped with a gas grill and a small table for outside meals. Steps lead you downstairs to a raised wooded walkway to the dock.

Every room has an a full view of the water. You feel like you are in a tree house, which is where it got the name Tarheel Tree house! The main master bedroom has a large walk-in shower with dual shower heads.

Three bedrooms: 2 masters with queen beds, 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds. The beds are made for comfort with pillow-top mattresses and homestyle quilts. Bedrooms are decorated for with artwork and charming furniture.

The detached garage has a playroom above it with pool and foosball tables, along with a queen-size futon. It is not air-conditioned or heated, so it is most comfortable when temperatures allow for the window and door to be open for a cross-breeze.

There is one twin-sized foam mattress that can be moved to any room in the house for sleeping.

Although it is secluded and off the beaten path it has everything you could possibly need to feel at home and there was really no reason to leave. This was a staycation for us since we only live 20 minutes away but we wanted to enjoy some time on the lake and that we did! We fished from dawn to dusk and spent lazy time floating in water. I am particular about my cooking supplies and always being my own stuff but didn’t need any of it because the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, bowls, utensils, etc. Tons of outdoor seating in the 2 screened in porches, deck, and dock. The owners of this home spared no expense and we felt at home from the moment I arrived. We will definitely rent this gem again!"

The chef's kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups and pretty serving dishes which I enjoyed using for breakfast and dinner. We loved floating around the dock on our floats and liked watching sunsets from there. The view from the two decks was stunning with wide angle views of the lake. This home sits on a beautiful lot on High Rock Lake. Nothing but awesome lake views all around the pointe.
The home consist of three bedrooms, and two full baths. Kingsize bed in upstairs master and queen size beds in both of the downstairs bedrooms. There are TV's in all bedrooms. Upstairs bath has a sunken tub and separate shower. The downstairs bathroom has a shower with bench seat.
The kitchen is well equipped including granite counters and all stainless appliances. Almost every room opens to a deck. The great room has beautiful views and is perfect for relaxing after a long day on the lake.

- "The house was well equipped and very clean. Bedrooms were nice and all rooms had TVs, which was nice when it was rainy. We had a house key issue when we first arrived, but the property manager came quickly to fix the situation. The location was great although it should be noted that it is on the Abbott's Creek portion of High Rock Lake. This is important especially for pontoon boaters as there are two bridges to pass under to get to the main part of the lake and one bridge sits too low for taller boats (basically anything more than 4 feet off of the water) to pass under. The oversized 3 level back deck is fully furnished with an outdoor sectional and dining table and leads to a floating dock with 50' of waterfront. The back yard is completely fenced in, so the pups can run around while you sit back and enjoy the lake.

The kitchen is bright with a modern stainless refrigerator, range, dishwasher and built in microwave. It is well stocked with all the every day cooking utensils you will need. 'Just returned from a wonderful time on Tuckertown Lake. Our annual fishing trip took us to Tuckertown where we found great success. Not only was Bryan's house a comfortable haven of relaxation but the lakes seclusion was terrific. Over 5 days we seldom saw anyone on the water outside of a few serious fisherman. We mostly fished largemouth bass but would occasionally work the panfish during the heat of the day. There was easily 70+ bass caught and 50+ panfish. The hammock was great in the evenings and Bryan left the gas grill ready to go which was a welcome means of cooking for the man trip. We all had a wonderful time and capped it off with a tasty Tuckertown fish fry. If you're looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and extremely secluded spot to spend some time on the water give this place a shot! You'll be glad you did.'

- "We truly enjoyed our stay. Bryan and his wife went out of their way to make sure we had every comfort. I only wish we took more pictures but we used this seclusion to disconnect from our devices, so rarely did we even have a phone for pics. Water temp was in the 80s so fishing was slow but we gave it our all. Everything was clean and just as described. Ive seen posts about the cleanliness of the property and i didnt understand that, my 1 yr old grandbaby crawled from one end to the other of the house and i never gave it a 2nd thought. All of our kids are engaged or soon to be but it was great seeing them sit down with out devices and play card games and reconnect. Thanks again we enjoyed the boat the lake and the seclusion."

Our comfy master bedroom features a king sized bed, flat screen TV, cable and private attached bathroom with stall shower. The second bedroom has a comfy queen size sleigh bed, flat screen TV with cable. The third bedroom has 4 twins (2 trundle beds). Rest on the most comfortable double size pull out couch in our large family sun room. Enjoy the living room with Flat screen TV and Roku to yourself or sit in the family sun room on the recliner and enjoy the 65 inch smart TV that offer tons of apps and a Roku (just bring your passwords) for your viewing pleasure, also included is Wi-Fi. If that doesn't suit your fancy, for that possibility of rain, enjoy our selection of novels, games, and dvd's. We have a small office area looking out on the lake for those of us who can't seem to get away from work that includes a printer/scanner. For convenience, a small bait fridge in the kitchen, a drink mini fridge and a 25 lbs per day ice machine are installed in the family sun room.... no more trips to the store every day for ice! The entire back of the house gives an exceptional view of the lake and the beautiful sunsets it offers. Enjoy some water time by docking your boat on our dock (Marina and boat launches are practically right around the corner) or use our complimentary paddle boat and kayaks. Enjoy time by stretching out on our sandy beach or watch the kids build sandcastles. Throw out a line and catch catfish, perch, crappie or bass (known to hang around our cove) straight from the dock. - "This house has just been remodeled and it shows! My daughter was in love with all the finishes and wanted to buy it! This little house backs right on to the lake so we were able to get right into the water from the yard and launch kayaks, which my son enjoyed. The kitchen is fully stocked and the quality of the linens and towels make you feel like you're at home. It's on a quite little street with very friendly neighbors - there are two small stores within 5 minutes if you forget any essentials. The only negative was that when we arrived there was trash bags in the outdoor can that had been there for awhile and attracted hundreds of bugs, so a lot of them got inside while we were unloading the car. I moved to trash can to the other side of the carport and we tried to ignore the swarm. Other that that it was perfect!"

This is a very quiet and secluded neighborhood. The entire yard is fenced in and separated from one neighbor by a wooded lot and the other neighbor by trees and foliage.

- "Everything was great, thank you for your hospitality and making sure we were doing ok during our stay. The place was extremely clean and well supplied, we had everything we needed there when we got there, it was really nice having toilet paper, paper towels and soaps and shampoo and conditioner if we needed it. The house was comfortable and the area was very quiet and peaceful. The dock was great and we used the canoe a little and had fun with that. But we spent most of our time in the four seasons room which was amazing. Being able to open windows and feel the breeze and hear the birds and sounds of the lake and see the lake activity was the best part of our stay. There’s plenty of nice restaurants and coffee shops in Lexington and Salisbury, too."

I want to be clear that the RV is (at this time) basically a glorified tent/campers space.

The kitchen and bathroom are not prepped for use. I use outside for cooking (fire pit) and there is no running water yet.

The space
This is undeveloped land with a tiny rv oasis.

There is no electricity ~ but there is a small solar powered generator with outlets.

There is a small portable AC.

There are battery powered mini lights

Guest access
The shower is an outdoor/campers bag shower. Fill with water and use.

The toilet tent contains toilet paper; a campers toilet; plastic bags and a basket of cedar.

TOILET USE:
1. Place a plastic bag inside (secure on the rim of the bucket)
2. Add Cedar
3. Pit toilet lid on
4. Do your business
5. Cover your business with cedar
6. Tie bag and place in large trash can.

NOTE: All trash must be taken off the property when you leave.

Our home is on a 4-acre lot on High Rock Lake. The guest space is a fully furnished guesthouse above a detached storage area (15 steps). The bedroom has a king-size bed and TV, the den has a full sofa, recliner, and TV with HD antenna​ & Netflix - NO CABLE. There is a full kitchen, bath, washer/dryer​ and​ walk-in closet. There is a small deck with a ​table and chairs overlooking the lake. Guests have access to the pier, 2 kayaks, canoe, swing, firepit, grill & gardens. ​We DO have WiFi.​​

The space
High Rock Lake was created in 1929 and is the second largest lake in NC. The lake serves as a boundary between Davidson and Rowan counties and we are located on the Rowan County side of the lake.

Guests have access to our private pier, kayaks, canoe and life jackets. Swim at your own risk and NEVER SWIM ALONE. We DO NOT have a boat ramp, however, there is a public boat ramp at Tamarac Marina and at the Wildlife Access, both ½ mile away.
Guests are welcomed to tie their boat at the pier and we have ample parking for a trailer. Please let us know in advance if you will be bringing a boat/trailer.
We have an outside fish cleaning area.

Tamarac Marina has pontoon boat and tube rentals. Hill’s Minnow Farm, 2 miles away, is a sporting goods and convenience store that specializes in Crappie Fishing Supplies.
NC Fishing Licenses and gasoline may be purchased at Tamarac Marina or Hill’s Minnow Farm.

We both enjoy gardening and have turned our traditional lawn into paths that meander through many different gardens – veggie, fruit, shade, pollinator, bog, water, etc. We have added plants that attract many different butterflies, bees and other pollinators. We feed the birds year-round and provide houses for many species. The lake also draws many migratory birds through our area. We have a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.

The fire pit with accent lighting (wood provided) can be enjoyed and ingredients for s'mores is also provided. The wooden swing by the lake is the perfect place to enjoy the lake on hot afternoons.

The lighted lake shelter has tables and a gas grill for you to enjoy a relaxing meal.

HEADS UP: There's no kitchen in the cabin, but there's a small charcoal grill outside. So, bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid.

On the property, you'll find a bonfire pit, a labyrinth, and hiking trails.

There are restaurants within 5 miles, and five vineyards within a 30-minute drive. Check out Morrow Mountain State Park and Uwharrie National Forest ( home to the oldest mountains in the world). You can also go hiking, cycling, kayaking, and even gold panning nearby. Historic Gold Hill hosts free bluegrass music every Friday night at the old Montgomery Store.

The vibe here—with the vortex, labyrinth, fire pits, and cozy hangout spots—makes it a special and memorable place to chill out and find some peace.

PET FRIENDLY: I have a small terrier named Murphy that lives on the land and he will definitely stop by to visit. There is a beautiful Mainecoon cat named Zen Kitty that you may see outside, as well. Bring your boat/jet ski or rent one! Free public boat launch located 3 minutes away - Pebble Creek Boat Launch. We recommend renting a pontoon from High Rock Lake Campground (20 min drive).

We ask that you respect the neighbors and keep noise levels down. This is a quiet residential neighborhood and homes are fairly close to one another. Quiet hours are from 10pm-7am. Absolutely no parties or events!

Quaint lakefront cottage with the bonus of a separate guest house. The cottage features an open living room and kitchen with a great view of the lake. Our serene 20-acre horse farm is located in Mount Pleasant, NC. We're close to a number of area wedding venues, the Uwharrie Mountains, vineyards, Concord Motor Speedway, and Charlotte. Our quiet guest wing features two private rooms with clean, comfy queen beds and a Jack n' Jill bathroom with private vanities and a shared shower/toilet.

You'll be staying in one of two private bedrooms in our guest wing. The house is clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and while here you'll be able to enjoy many extra amenities both indoors and out. (Please note that we will not rent the 2nd guest room unless you are traveling with friends/family who won't mind sharing the tub/toilet in the Jack n' Jill bathroom.)

Your bedroom/bathroom is your private space. In addition to your private bedroom in our guest wing, you'll be welcome to utilize our living space, pool, hot tub, and walking trail as well as other nature spaces.

We have two dogs and one cat in the house. They will not enter the guest wing, but you can expect to see them in other areas of the house/property. Guests with allergies (or fears) should not rent here!

Welcome to High Rock Nook, a waterfront property nestled in a serene cove, designed for your utmost enjoyment and entertainment. The lake water levels and plant growth may vary throughout the year, but our amenities ensure a delightful stay.

Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, perfect for preparing meals, and relax in comfort with bed and bath linens provided. For your water adventures, we offer three adult kayaks, two child kayaks, and an adult paddleboard, complete with life vests and lake floats.

Unwind by the fire pit, challenge family and friends with corn hole boards or disc golf, or enjoy a selection of board games provided for your amusement. For ultimate relaxation, take advantage of our provided hammocks and porch swings for your leisure.

Please note there are two outdoor cameras on-site for safety, monitored only during check-in and check-out, and reviewed only if issues arise. The two floors combined equal just under 1000sqft. A six-person table on the top deck, as well as a two-person table is available in the kitchen, with an additional folding table and four chairs that can be found in the living room closet for flexible dining options. To make your stay more enjoyable we recommend you bring water shoes, beach towel, bluetooth speaker, charcoal/lighter for the grill, & firewood.

Cozy ol’ cabin on the lake!

Sit back and enjoy boaters, floaters, and gorgeous sunsets or get in or on the water, however you choose! There's a screened in porch, a nice lawn by the water, multiple decks, a spacious pier, and a floating dock to jump off of or dock your boat.

Even on a rainy day, it's a great place to get away. Inside the cabin you'll find some games, books, and a smart TV in the living room.

Old cabin with original wood floors, not suitable for kids; pets no longer allowed :(

The space
An abundance of outdoor fun! Bring a boat or choose your float. Available for use on property at your own risk and liability: paddle board, an old canoe for two (it has a broken seat), fishing rods, blow up kayak (might have debris), tug toys for boats: two tow floats for 2 and 3 people, knee board, pair of water skis, etc. There are at least five (5) life jacket(s) that can be used. Must be aware of and follow lake rules and laws which can be found with an internet search.

Some outdoor furniture is old, cushions should go in the storage bin in the middle deck but they’re kind of old too and hope to replace them soon.

If you have a boat, there are nearby ramps like Southmont Abbott’s Creek Boat Access. There’s a boathouse but the winch is not powered and not setup for boats but there is a floating dock to tie up to.

Master bedroom has a king size bed and some closet space, and a screened in porch, a favorite!

Guest bedroom has a full size bed with dresser and a view of the like and the front yard.

Living room has a sectional with a pull out queen size bed. There are dinner trays and folding tables as there is no formal dining room. There are also 4 bar stools that can be used on the counter between the kitchen and living room.

The kitchen has a small gas stove with 4 burners, a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, Keurig for coffee lovers, tea kettle, all kitchen essentials. Just outside the kitchen door is a charcoal and gas grill available and there may be availability coal or gas though not guaranteed. Also available are slow cookers, an air fryer, a pressure cooker, blenders, etc., make yourself at home.

Have fun while respecting full-time neighbors! Strict rules: No Parties and No Smoking on the property; keep noise level reasonable to respect the neighbors on each side of the cabin and across the water as it may affect them as well; and if you bring pets, please be sure you pick up after them. There is a pet fee, please be sure to add them.

The space
You’ll have the whole property to yourselves. It’s the driveway over to the edge of the treeline and from the street to the dock. You can swim and float anywhere you want in the lake. Boats normally will go on the outside of the white bouy where the water is deeper so you can swim freely around the dock especially.

TV

The remote is on the bench under the TV. The buttons are probably self-explanatory. But might be a little tricky. Use the home button and select apps to get to things like Netflix and Disney+ where you can input your login info.

KITCHEN

The dishwasher works well but you need to turn the faucet on to get the water hot before you start the dishwasher. Dishwasher tabs are under the sink.

Oven

There is a red light that stays on for the surface. It’s not a problem. Just make sure you turn off all the stove burners.

Toaster Oven

We have tested the toaster oven a few times and it is very nice. Just FYI

Everything else should work as normal. There’s oil and salt and pepper you’re welcome to use. There are some storage containers and Ziploc bags under the sink.

Linens

Most of the linens are in the linen closet off the living room. There are also some in the king suite bathroom.

In cabinets above the washer and dryer are detergent pods.

No playing or climbing on top of the boat house; no diving off the dock, maximum 2 dogs. drip coffee maker. 1 King bed downstairs, 1 queen bed and 3 single beds upstairs. 2 full bathrooms downstairs and 1/2 bath upstairs. Also, there is not access to the water from the shore; too many rocks. The floating dock has a graduated ladder for easy in and out of the water; even the pups can use it. Have fun and be safe.

Living Room: features a couch, oversized chair, and electric love seat recliner with console in front of a panel of windows with amazing views of the lake. It is a great place to enjoy views of the outdoors or to lounge in front of the TV. It is open to the kitchen for open concept entertainment.
**Please note that linens/pillows are not provided if sleeping on the air mattress that is provided and must be brought with you.**

First Bedroom: features a king sized bed, 2 nightstands, and a tv.

Kitchen: located on the main floor, the kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, microwave, & dishwasher. All of the pots and pans needed to cook are provided along with mixing bowls, colander, measuring cups, silverware, plates/bowls, drinking glasses, wine glasses, and coffee cups. A Keurig coffee machine & a drip coffee maker is provided, however, you will need to bring your own coffee and/or KCups. There is a large bar that will accommodate seating for four. You will need to bring your own groceries/snacks. Please note that there is not a dining room table.

Other things to note:
-There are security cameras located on the exterior of the house. One is pointing at the front door, one is pointing at the driveway, one is pointing off of the back porch towards the lake, and the other is pointing at the basement doors.
-The maximum occupancy is 4 guests at any time due to the amount of beds. However, an air mattress is available for additional sleeping for kids. If the guest count exceeds 4 at any point during your stay (without previous permission), the host reserves the right to charge an additional fee per person, per day.
-Absolutely NO events, parties, large gatherings, weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties allowed without prior permission.
-We do have neighbors that we respect and therefore request that quiet time be from 10pm-8am.
-We do allow up to two pets. It is your responsibility to inform host that you are bringing pet(s) and to pay the fee prior to your stay. We will discuss pet(s) rules once you make host aware you are bringing an animal(s).
