The home had lots of space for small groups to reconnect. We got plenty of laughs from the rocky, single lane approach road to the house, but most of us had rented SUVs so everyone enjoyed the adventure! We also brought all the food we needed and didn't plan for anyone to head out and grab meals. Truly--it was a lovely space."

We are pleased to present The Bear Mountain Lodge for your next mountain get away! Located deep in the mountains of Jasper Georgia within the Bent Tree community, this spacious 3,350 square foot, three level lodge is sure to become a favorite for both families and golfers alike. Newly renovated just like a lodge should be, this TRUE log cabin is filled with rustic decor and furniture. Log beds and log furniture accentuate each of the 4 bedrooms. A total of 6 large screen smart TVs assure that each room can choose whatever they want to watch. The new granite kitchen has just the right amount of lodge feel with the modernization of new appliances.

The top floor loft boasts two KING bedrooms, a queen futon, a full bath and an office seating area. Moving down to the main living level a large living room is the main focal point of the lodge with it's soaring ceilings and fireplace. Yogi, the black bear greets you as you arrive. A full leather reclining sectional sofa is a comfy place to either watch the fireplace or the 65" TV. This main floor also has the master KING bedroom with a screened in porch as well as the kitchen/dining area. A 1/2 bath is located just off of the main living area. Stepping outside of this main living area is a large deck overlooking a beautiful wooded area with no other houses visible.

Head down to the third living area and find a place to get away from the rest of the lodge! This totally isolated area has another leather sectional sofa, large screen smart TV, bar, full bath and the fourth bedroom consisting of a QUEEN log bed. Step outside onto the deck to get some fresh air or just hang out with a drink. This lower level also has a new washer and dryer for your convenience.

The community is gated and patrolled to give that extra bit of security . We will let the gate know when you are coming and for how long. We also have a Ring doorbell camera and security camera above the garage. Both are located on the front of the lodge facing the street.

The Property:
You pull off of a freshly paved country road onto a level gravel drive that leads directly to the cabin steps. There is a plenty of parking and a turn-around spot at the end. You have arrived at Honey's Hideaway - take in a breath of fresh mountain air! Looking around you will see the pond, fire pit area, and the running creek that runs the length of the property. There are multiple decks and balconies surrounding the house which boast porch swings, hammocks and plenty of seating. Honey's Hideaway sits on nearly 7 acres and there are no neighbors in sight.
You can hear the relaxing sounds of the running stream from nearly all areas of the property. Keep a watchful eye to spot visitors such as raccoons, deer, and black bear.

The Cabin:
As you enter the cabin you will notice the living room has a stone (gas) fireplace and a beautiful hand-painted two-story mural leading upstairs. The bedroom on the first floor has a queen bed and a full bathroom. Once upstairs, you will see 2 twin beds in the loft as well as the master bedroom with a queen bed and also a full bathroom. Both the loft area and master bedroom have private balconies - enjoy wooded views from the loft balcony, the master balcony overlooks the pond. Both upstairs balconies have high rails installed for child safety. The stairs inside are equipped with built in child safety gates so you can relax and allow your children to play safely.

The renovated kitchen boasts brushed granite countertops and new stainless appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the comforts of home, and there is also a gas grill on the back porch.

There is a smart TV in the living room as well as each bedroom. Snuggle up in front of the fireplace and watch your favorite movie or read a good book.

*In an effort to offer the most sanitary venue possible, we change the hot tub water between each guest. On short stays, the water may not reach desired temperatures in the colder months.

- "We were looking for a few days of rest and relaxation and this was exactly what we needed! There were spots to relax all around the cabin. We enjoyed the hot tub, swing bed, hammock swing, firepit, and some fishing. Everything inside the cabin was spotless and smelled amazing. It was well stocked with everything we needed. We are frequent VRBO renters and I keep a bag packed with essentials like laundry detergent, dryer sheets, paper towels, dish soap, extra toilet paper, etc. and I didn't have to even get it out of the car. The kitchen is also well stocked with pots, pans, and even a toaster. We ate out for dinner each night but ate in for breakfast and lunch and they had everything we needed including foil, salt, and pepper. We were an easy 10 min drive from several local restaurants. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths. We played Goldilocks until we found the "just right" bed. If you want firm, you have it, and if you want soft, you have that too. Internet is great and so are the smart tvs. Unfortunately, we both had some work to do, but we were able to have 2 computers, the tv, and both of our phones connected to the internet and it was still very fast. This cabin is definitely on our list to visit again!"

Reminiscent of prohibition, white lightning, and bootleggers, Moonshine Creek is a 4 acre hideaway offering a beautiful place to renew your spirit, celebrate any occasion, or make new memories. About 65 miles north of Atlanta, the drive is beautiful. The setting is private with dense foliage all around. There are several benches and a big deck near the creeks and pond for a closer look and listen to wildlife, tumbling water and rustling trees.

The luxury custom cabin is 2000 sf and built from first quality 12” heartwood pine. There are 2 large bedrooms with top quality king or queen beds, luxury linens, high speed internet, 3 new 65” smart tvs (internet only), a roll-top desk, luxurious en suite bathrooms with spacious walk-in showers and walk-in closets. The main floor has a separate private balcony for enjoying morning sun and coffee. The chaise in the upper level loft and the couch in the living room could easily accommodate two smaller guests for a total of 6.

The fully appointed kitchen has cherry wood cabinets, a large pantry, granite countertops, stainless appliances, and rustic themed dishes and cookware. The dining table seats 6 and the bar seats 3.

The wraparound porch is furnished for relaxation and comfort and includes a floor to ceiling stone fireplace, day bed, rocking chairs, fireplace seating for 4, ceiling fans and a Pit Boss barbeque grill and smoker. A selection of hickory, mesquite, and applewood pellets allows the grill-master additional creativity to fire up entrees right at home. The whole house generator automatically kicks on if the power goes out so your visit can continue uninterrupted.

If someone in your party is handicapped or has trouble with stairs the main floor is on one level (including the deck, kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom, bathroom with walk-in shower, 2 65" TVs, and two large fireplaces.) There are just 3 steps to access the home. The cabin has been lovingly appointed with elegant, rustic décor. Every piece of furniture was selected for comfort and style. Oversize windows bring in beautiful forest views and natural light.

Moonshine Creek also welcomes well-behaved, house-broken pets. If you’re bringing the dog/s, please also bring a crate if they will be left unattended for any reason. A medium sized wire crate (without bedding) is provided. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The $25 nightly fee applies to each additional dog and will need to be added manually to your total.

There may or may not be a single guest staying in the lower apartment. Your group will still have complete privacy.

The cabin met all of our needs with great attention to detail and by providing top notch amenities. The owner was very amiable and answered any questions that we had. When we did go out to explore, we were able to enjoy hiking, kayaking, fishing and some golf, with so much more we plan to do on our next visit. We also ventured into town and had a great meal and did some grocery shopping. We do recommend picking up your groceries on the way up to ur cabin for convenience sake as the cabin does have a fully equipped kitchen and storage. Overall, we genuinely had a very memorable and fabulous stay! I wouldn’t pass this one up(as much as I hate to share lol)!!"

Log Cabin nestled mountainside with long gorgeous views located in a secure gated community. This 3,200 ft2 vacation home has 4BR and 3BA and features two large exterior decks, two screened in porches, two living areas and a game room.

The main floor features all original wood construction with 2 Bedrooms w/queen beds and one full Bathroom. The main floor is a full open concept Living Room, Dining Room and Kitchen with sliding doors to access the main deck. Dining room has a custom wood dining table with 8-person seating and the Kitchen is equipped with all appliances including air fryer, coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, and everything needed for cooking and dining. The main floor exterior deck offers picturesque views high above the trees (Autumn colors are awesome!) with an outdoor 6-person dining table, two relaxing lounge chairs, gas grill and a wood bar w/seating for two to enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine. The morning and evening views are amazing and often include wild deer and turkey walking by, and the occasional bear! The main floor also includes a screened in porch with 4-person dining table.

The Master Bedroom is located in the upstairs loft and includes a king bed and private Bathroom with dual sinks, shower, and a large soaker tub. The master bedroom also has a seating area w/high windows to enjoy the sprawling forest and mountain views, a furnished screened in porch, and a bar.

The Downstairs lower level includes a furnished living room with large flat screen TV, game room, full bath, and a bedroom featuring a Full bed and a Day Bed w/pull-out Trundle bed. The game room includes basketball, foosball, Ms. Pac Man/Galaga/Dig-Dug and an X-Box 360 with several games. Downstairs also features an exterior deck with outdoor furniture w/gas fireplace and features quiet and tranquil wooded views.

Cabin comfortably sleeps 10 people in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Comfortably sleeps 6-7 in the Winter months when weather is cold (downstairs bedroom remains cold in wintertime).

- "Derek was extremely easy to work with and very accommodating. We have stayed at many cabins over the years but this is by far, our favorite! The pictures can’t even depict the breathtaking views. The cabin had a cozy feel, yet elegantly designed with everything you could possibly ask for or need. Beds and linen were very comfortable and everything was immaculate. The videos we have from watching families of deer are just some of the incredible experiences of staying here. Even though there are houses nearby, we felt very peaceful and private. Returning Guests are considered VIPs….(when available) we offer free Early check in or Late check out - ask local management team. All trash must be properly bagged or charged a fine. Please abide by all the rules and be courteous of neighbors. If need be management reserves the right to and can evict rowdy/unruly guests on behalf of our owners. However, we have not had to do so yet!

The Neighborhood:
Bent Tree is a gated Golf course and Lake community in Jasper, Georgia. All guest have access to the amenities, lake ,hiking trails and to use the Gold course. Resort fee is $25 per day paid directly to the community and built into your fee.

The occupants of the barn are an elderly couple that are neighbors and in no way interfere with the home or property for rent. This property is a single level home, but it does include many stairs to, from, and around the home. There are also boardwalks right over the waterfalls, and many areas that can be a hazard for young guests. We want to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all of our guests. Please keep this in mind when you are considering visiting as this property is not equipped for animals or children.

Welcome to Yellow Creek Cottage, our newly renovated retreat in the heart of nature nestled on noisy Yellow Creek. Very private on 5 acres, yet close to local attractions. Enjoy views from the large floor to ceiling windows in the living room. Wake up to stunning views of surrounding forests & fall asleep to the soothing sounds of rushing Yellow Creek. The cottage is cozy but has ample space to relax and enjoy the surroundings! The open floor plan allows everyone spend time together and outdoors we have a covered porch, deck overlooking the creek and a screened in “tree house” with a TV and plenty of seating.

A keurig is provided with a supply of coffee and tea, enjoy provided snacks and water upon arrival. Our kitchen is well equipped, if you have any questions about specific kitchen supplies please feel free to reach out! There is a grocery store located within 10 minutes of the cottage.

Floor Plan:
Loft: Staircase leads to a queen size bed with a perfect view of the night sky from the skylight window situated above the bed. Loft is equipped with a TV.

Main floor: Large living space with floor to ceiling windows with exceptional views, kitchen, dining room, living room with a large comfy couch that folds out to an additional queen size bed, full bathroom with shower.

Both ceiling fans are connected to light switches and then operated by the remote controls, they work quite well to supplement t the A/C.

We also have a wood burning stove for cold nights! Please use with care and ensure to not over fill the stove.

Treehouse: Step out onto the front porch and take a few steps up to the screened in treehouse. Enjoy the lounge seating available to relax and enjoy nature.

Guest have full access to the main cabin as well as its many porches and tree house area.

We provide kayaks for use at the reservoir but you will need to transport them there. Hollis Lathem charges $5 for a day pass.

The fire pit on the back deck is connected to a propane tank, please ensure the propane tank is open, the control to start it is on the side of the table, push the knob in and turn to left to start it, continue turning the knob to the left to adjust the flame. Please make sure to turn the unit off and close the propane tank when done.

Know that it is only a 5-minute walk to the lake, but there are two flight of stairs down to the dock. Or you can play a game of cornhole in the yard, or on rainy days, play cards or a game of chess/Chinese checkers, watch one of the dozens of movies in our DVD and video library, or cuddle up with a book from the bookcase. A spacious desk allows you to comfortably keep in touch with work or post photos of your trip on the internet.

This is a very unique lake getaway in a special neighborhood, “The Victoria Cottages,” a secluded golf cart community. Only a couple minutes down the road is Victoria Park with a large sandy beach, picnic area and four boat ramps to launch your boat. Adjacent to the park is world-class Victoria Harbour Marina and the Sunset Grille overlooking the tranquil water while taking in a beautiful sunset on their large deck. Only a few miles away is Little River Marina where you can rent a boat or kayak and eat at DJs on the Lake. But please drive slowly through the area because the area is populated with “domestic deer” that roam throughout the community at liberty and with no fear. The Cottages is the first "cottage" area from the inception of Lake Allatoona in the '50's. It has narrow streets and is safe to walk or bike anytime of day.

Upscale Towne Lake is only ten minutes away with a wide variety of outstanding restaurants and shopping or drive twenty minutes to historic downtown Woodstock with its quaint shops, great cuisine and numerous entertainment options. Many of our quests enjoy shopping at The Outlet Shoppes in Woodstock, only thirty minutes away, featuring 87 stores like Saks Fifth Avenue, Nike, Polo Ralph Lauren and Ghirardelli Chocolate, just to mention a few.

Lake Escape is a great getaway to share with someone special during the fall and winter months as well, enjoying the firepit, staring up at the stars from the hammock, or just catching up on your favorite TV programs and movies. Be aware that the water level of the lake is lowered in the winter by the Corps of Engineers, but it makes the shoreline accessible for long walks.

Know that we live in the upper level and please note this is NOT a party or large get-together property. This retreat is a great place for a family, couples and a few friends to enjoy the water and outdoors peacefully. We are not looking for large groups whose true intent is to "party" at the house or for large family or friend get-togethers. This apartment is not suited for more than 4 people. Guests can have a few guests for day visits only. Only two vehicles and a trailer are allowed. Additional vehicles must be approved by us. Even though we have a good natural buffer of mature trees around the property, we want to respect our neighbors, so we enforce an outdoor quiet time after 11:00 PM. We welcome a limit of two well-behaved and crate trained dogs to join you during your stay ($75 pet fee applied).

ACTIVITIES: Boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, bird watching, bike trails, local festivals, art and music venues, great dining and shopping only a short drive away. Within an hour drive you can reach the North Georgia Mountain destinations of Jasper, Ellijay, Blue Ridge and Helen where you can visit Amicalola Falls State Park, go white-water rafting and horseback riding.

Lake Escape is situated in north Metro Atlanta, easily accessible off Bells Ferry Road and Towne Lake Parkway in Woodstock. This home is so cute, secluded and perfect for relaxation. This home is basically a studio home. The "bedroom" is in the loft upstairs (at the top of very steep stairs). It does not have a wall separating it from the living room below.

This is the ENTIRE HOME. NO HOUSE SHARING. Why stay with someone else when you can have the entire home!

There is a fire pit with 6 very comfortable adirondack chairs. We do not provide the firewood but we will provide you with a very nearby neighbor that has a "self service" firewood business. It's $10/stack which should be plenty for a couple night's fires.

The space
*Please read all the way to the bottom regarding gravel road to get to Creekside Cabin, stairs going up to the loft, and master on second floor with no door. Road to the cabin is a gravel half-mile road that is rutted and bumpy in some areas. We like to think this adds to the cabin in the woods experience! We will note, we have had cars of all types, including SUVs and sedans come to and from our cabin perfectly fine rain or shine. Most surrounding neighbors drive sedans as well.

Other things to note: Stairs up to the loft are steep. Please make sure to check our listing photos for accurate stair height! We do not recommend renting if older with mobility problems. We do provide a baby gate that can double as a dog gate for either the top or bottom of the stairs for ease of mind.*


Upon entering this modern cabin, you'll be wowed by the proximity to the creek this cabin will offer. Sitting four feet above the creek and three feet away, this feature is what sets Creekside Cabin apart from others. There is not a spot on the property, or in the cabin that you will not be able to hear the water rushing nearby. Whether in the cabin, on the porch, or enjoying the outside amenities, you will be two feet from the creek at all times.

When waking up in the morning, grab a cup of coffee and relax on the front porch soaking in the Jasper hills with the water at your feet.

The living room with its leather sofa, wood-burning fireplace, and flatscreen TV will offer a great place for relaxing and socializing. Enjoy the open concept as the living room quickly transitions into the dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is naturally lit with stainless steel appliances, shaker cabinets, and everything you'll need to prepare both simple and gourmet meals. The dining table seats four with many additional chairs nearby to accommodate the size of your family or friends. This table will also serve as the perfect place to have a work-from-home staycation with high speed internet available throughout the house.

Heading upstairs, you will find more entertainment in the loft area. Here, there is a daybed and a leather recliner. Feel free to sit back and relax as you watch TV on the flatscreen. Don't forget to check the closet for board games of your choosing!

Please note the stairs heading to the loft are steep. We have added multiple railings to ensure safety and comfort when ascending or descending the stairs. Guests with mobility problems or people 65 and older should keep this in mind while booking.

Come time for bed, Creekside Cabin will not disappoint. Come on in the master suite and jump on the king-sized bed. The master will also include a flatscreen TV for your nighttime choosing. Feel free to open the window as you lay down to enjoy the crisp mountain air and rushing creek just feet below you. In the loft area, there is a daybed with a trundle underneath, fully furnished with linens and quilts. On the main level, the couch doubles as a pull-out couch and will comfortably sleep two. The main level will have easy access to the shower and bathroom.

Come with an empty stomach and food to cook for a barbecue! Our outdoor gazebo/picnic area has a wrought iron table that will seat seven. Want to grill? You're in luck! Feel free to enjoy our four burner propane grill as well. Please be mindful of fires and safety hazards. Please also remember to clean the grate and cover the grill after use and when safe to do so.

If you're looking for more outdoor relaxation, enjoy our fire pit, hammock on the creek, and hot tub looking into the creek below. Please feel free to bring as much firewood as you can. There is an abundance of possibilities with the forest all around you as well. When the party starts winding down, unfold the hot tub cover and go for a late-night dip in our six person hot tub.

If adventurous in warmer weather, wade on down to the water itself and refresh from the hot sun! Please note that the rocks around the creek have taken a long time to find their home, and are positioned where they are for a reason. Please do not re-home them and leave as be.

Don't even worry about grabbing a key from us! Every guest will be given a unique code that will make your entry convenient and secure. There is a stationary camera on the cabin property. Please be assured that we follow all privacy laws and only use the camera to monitor in case of emergency.

The TV in the loft will be provided with a Roku. We do run a BYOL (bring your own login) service, but can assure you that the Roku is set on guest mode where your logins will be automatically removed upon checkout.

Easy access utilizing paved roads with the last half-mile consisting of gravel. Gravel roads are shared with neighbors. Some stretches of gravel road leading to Creekside Cabin can be bumpy but manageable, even for a sedan. Driveway accommodates five cars.

Other things to note
There is wildlife in the hills around Creekside Cabin. Although rare, please be mindful of any dangers that could occur. When taking out trash, please remember to tie the bag tightly and close the trash can lid securely behind you. Do not leave food outside or unattended overnight. This will greatly reduce any unwanted visitors. Thank you for your understanding.

Please note, there are THREE exterior security cameras on the property! There is one on the main road, one pointed towards the fire pit, and one monitoring the front door. There are no cameras pointed near the hot tub or inside the house. These cameras are for owner liability when the house is vacant. These cameras are not actively monitored, and are only utilized if a situation arises in which footage is needed. Guests can confidently stay at Creekside Cabin knowing their privacy is being respected throughout the duration of their stays. Thank you for understanding!

Creekside Cabin is a pet-friendly destination! Pets are allowed to roam off-leash, but please watch them closely. Please also be mindful to clean up after your pet. There will be potty bags available under the sink if needed. Food and water bowls will be provided for your pet.

*We welcome young families, however, this cabin is not childproof. Please keep in mind that this cabin is in the mountains with high decks, an outdoor staircase, hot tub, fireplaces, and fire pits. Child supervision is always necessary.

Creekside Cabin charges $50/hr as a late check-out fee for any guests who stay beyond the stated check-out time without prior approval.

Our Basic Provisions:

In addition we provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (2 rolls per bathroom), Paper Towels (1 roll), Garbage Bags (2-3 bags), Dishwasher Detergent (1-2 loads), Laundry Detergent (1 load), and some Dishwashing Soap.

Returning Guests are considered VIPs….(when available) we offer free Early check in or Late check out - ask local management team. All trash must be properly bagged or charged a fine. Please abide by all the rules and be courteous of neighbors. If need be management reserves the right to and can evict rowdy/unruly guests on behalf of our owners. However, we have not had to do so yet!

Relax in the inviting living spaces adorned with comfortable furnishings and equipped with state-of-the-art smart TV’s throughout the home (4 in total), free WiFI providing endless entertainment options for your stay. The house features beautiful hardwood flooring, an updated kitchen, baths and bright living area.
Prepare delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen featuring modern appliances and a large kitchen island, perfect for culinary adventures with family and friends. This home includes a fully stocked kitchen - all appliances, pots, pans, plates, cups, silverware (even acrylic dishes and cups for the outdoor patio). There are also basic appliances such as a toaster, Keurig coffee maker, airfryer, crockpot etc. Enjoy your meals in the adjacent dining area or step outside to the expansive patio and dine al fresco amidst the tranquil surroundings.
All bedrooms have high thread count sheets and spreads/blankets and we always use mattress protectors and pillow protectors. Luxury NovaFoam and Casper mattresses as well. All bedrooms have ample closet spaces. Bathrooms feature large bath towels, washcloths and hand towels (even black makeup towels provided). We also provide a hair dryer, shower body wash, shampoo and conditioner.

The mid century carport has been turned into an outdoor living space to enjoy and relax in. Large table for al fresco dining complete with bistro lights and comfortable seating area surrounding the outdoor smart TV with wifi. Outdoor fun activities provided include corn hole, bocce ball, ring toss and more to enjoy in the large yard.

Log Cabin nestled mountainside with long gorgeous views located in a secure and gated community w/numerous amenities. This 3200ft vaca home has 4BR & 3BA and features two large exterior decks, two living rooms, two screened in porches, and a game room.

Master BR is a loft area with King Bed & private bath. Main floor BR's have Queen Beds. Downstairs has a Double Bed w/Day Bed & Pull Out Trundle Bed.

Cabin comfortably sleeps 10. Includes free WiFi, Washer/Dryer, and fully equipped kitchen.

The space
Recommended number of guests is 10 max in Spring, Summer and Fall. Recommended number of guests in Winter months is 7 as the downstairs bedroom remains much cooler than upstairs. Space heaters are provided.
