WMHS fans, this is the place for you! We are located just 2 blocks from the school, in a very quiet neighborhood. We are near to almost everything you need to see and do. This is an older home, with old home characteristics, but if you are willing to overlook those, you will love the charm this place offers. Bookings are not accepted after 6pm, and check in is between 3pm and 10pm. Pets are allowed with a $200 security deposit that is completly refundable, if the house and yard is left as found.

Important pool safety information: The pool depth begins at 3.5-4 ft with a deep end of 8 ft. No diving is allowed. No lifeguard is on duty. Children must be monitored by an adult at all times when in the backyard. A 6ft privacy fence surrounds the backyard including the pool, therefore all parts of the backyard are considered the pool area. The pool is maintained weekly at minimum. The diving board and slide have been removed from the pool area for safety. Updated pool pics coming soon.

For your comfort the home has 2 thermostats downstairs and 1 thermostat upstairs. The nest thermostats can be controlled by sliding your finger up and down on the right side of the circle. An 80 gallon gas water heater supplies hot water. For our guests' safety, we have removed the key to the gas fireplace from the premises. Therefore, you will not be able to turn on the fireplace in the den.

- "Just a little TLC and this place would be totally awesome 🤩. Not the Hilton but way better than Motel 6. We loved the spacious rooms. The decorations were pleasing to the eyes. Little stuff like one kitchen chair made it hard to eat at the kitchen table. The bed was worn, we rolled to the middle which made for cozy sleeping. The tub had its share of feet that had stood in it, making it a slippery situation. Bedroom curtain were lacking privacy of comfortable, back stairs by the windows. Not huge things but still concerns. Would I stay again, yes. The location was excellent. Quite neighborhood and close to restaurants and shopping."

- "Place was clean,quiet and safe. No coffee pot and two of the 3 air conditioner units were inoperable. Thankfully there were fans to help and it wasn’t very hot outside. I texted and left a voicemail about the air conditioning but got no response. I ended up fixing the air conditioner in the smaller room myself. The outside had limbs and a little trash and cigarette butts. Other than that it was an ok place to stay. I would stay again."

- "Everything thing was fine"

Your home away from home in the heart of West Monroe with 3 brilliant bedrooms.The house has been remodeled and everything is new from the decor to the furniture and linens. This lovely house features a king bed, bunk bed, and futon to accommodate all guests comfortably. Tv's in every room and on the back porch. Central heat and air are less than a year old and we just added more insulation to the attic. . As you walk into the fenced in back yard, you will think you are in the country! Come enjoy the private back yard and sit around the warm fire pit on a cool night and watch your favorite show on the tv or just sit and listen to the crickets sing. If outside its for you curl up in front of the electric fireplace on the couch or massaging chair with your favorite book. Enjoy WiFi, iron, heating, AC, and a washing machine during your stay. Studio Cottage consists of a twin size day bed with a twin trundle in the main living area and a queen sized floor mattress in the upstairs loft area. Our house and the cottage sits on 6 acres just outside of the West Monroe City limits. It has a country setting with easy access to many venues in town since we are so close to interstate-20. The cottage is detached from the house providing a separate guest area and it has its own driveway, garage and entry. The back porch overlooks the back portion of the property and is very scenic with wildlife and birds. Our favorite are the pair of large pileated red headed woodpeckers.

This is a very nice apartment at The Mill Apartments, a 12-unit complex that we own and manage. The apartment is a brand-new build-out. The bedroom has a four-poster queen bed with a comfortable mattress. Bath has an ample vanity and an extra-wide deep tub with a shower. The kitchen has a 2-burner induction cooktop and a microwave-conduction-air fry oven, a full size refrigerator with ice maker, and a dishwasher. A high bar and stools are perfect for dining or computer work. A couch, chair, vintage trunk and Roku TV finish out the living area. There is also a small closet and a stacking washer-dryer. My office is in the attached building next door so I am very accessible if needed.

This 3BR/1-BATH home is located in the city limits of West Monroe in a quiet neighborhood. Everything within just a few miles: the Ike Hamilton Expo, WM Sports Complex, Surge, City Parks, WM Convention Center, Antique Alley & Biedenharn Ballpark. Also VERY close to interstate, hospital & MANY restaurants. It has a king bed, full bed, 2 twin beds & a cot-sleeping up to 7 people. The house has 2 outdoor patios for enjoying the fresh air. Free WI-FI & parking.

The space
Louisiana Roots has free parking with a carport and driveway that will hold 2 (maybe 3) vehicles. You can also park on the side of road. There is a table and 2 chairs set up under the carport as a small patio and another patio set up outside the back door with a patio table, umbrella and 4 chairs. Both areas are set-up with smokers pots for smoking outside (NOT inside). There are three pretty decent sized bedrooms, with a king bed, a full bed, and 2 twin beds. There is also a cot and a couch to sleep on if needed, sleeping a total of 8 people. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots/pans/utensils for cooking, dishes & utensils to eat along with glasses and coffee cups. There is also a Keurig coffee pot & coffee pods, creamer and sweeteners, along with tea/hot chocolate. The host also leaves snacks and a few water bottles for you! The dining room has a table and 4 chairs, and also a desk for working, if needed. Free Wifi is provided. There is a 55-inch TV in the living room and 32" TV's in the king and full bedrooms (not one in the twin bedroom) for your streaming enjoyment. The backyard is fenced, although we do NOT allow pets. There are a few toys for the kids along with games, puzzles and books. The host leaves a Welcome sheet on the table in the dining area with all of the important info like door lock code and house rules, along with a notebook with attractions in the West Monroe/Monroe area. The neighborhood is a very quiet area and so close to everything in town, so if you are looking for convenience, this is the place for you!

The entire house is available for reservation. This includes 3 bedrooms, a living room and dining area, kitchen, bathroom, carport patio and back patio.

Other things to note
All rooms will have fresh clean linens in the bed at your arrival. There will also be extra linens in the top of the closet in case there are any accidents. We ask that, upon checkout, you put all used towels and rags in the hamper in the bathroom. Just leave the beds unmade. There are extra garbage bags left under the sink. If the trash can fills up, please remove garbage and place it in the green receptacle under the carport. The most important thing is that smoking is not allowed INSIDE the house. The 2 patios outside are set up with smokers pots and ashtrays for the cigarette butts, so PLEASE respect our home and only smoke outside.
