- "Very nice property" - "This hilltop home provided us a fabulous place to put up family members over Thanksgiving. The host is very quick to communicate & address any issues, and the property is decorated with a spectacular eye for rustic elegance. All the amenities were satisfactory or better, TVs and Internet worked well, it has a very nice coffee bar and the super-spacious kitchen gave us plenty of room to prepare holiday dishes and mingle. The beds were very comfortable (one firmer and one softer), and the outdoor space was as advertised: we easily parked 3 cars with room for more. Nestled in the trees, we saw lots of bird activity! The driveway is a bit steep but it wasn't an issue for us, and the house is privately situated in a friendly farming community in a lovely, rural part of the state, but not too far from the bustling Nashville suburbs and only a few country miles (watch out for deer & other wildlife) from the towns of White House & Gallatin, where you can meet almost any restaurant and grocery needs etc. We would absolutely recommend this charming guest suite rental to anyone staying in the area. 5 stars+!!"

A couple of house-keeping items to bear in mind.

There are 16 steps from parking level to the entrances both at the front and back of the home.

This home is not only a pet-free property, but both smoking and drug free too. Any indication that those rules are being broken will lead to us having to immediately cancel your stay with us.

As with all our pools, the standard season is from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Lastly, attached to the home is an owner lockout area in the basement which is never rented out. On a rare occasion (a few days a year), the owner may utilize that space for a few hours. If that should happen we will let you know, but it is a separated space and you would not be disturbed or likely even know it was being used!

As you enter the property, the driveway splits in 2. All guests must veer to the right and park on this side of the home. The left section of the driveway is off-limits as it is a private garage.

The best way to interact with us is through the platform that you made your reservation through. We will be monitoring that chat throughout your stay.

Children are not allowed in the pool without adult supervision at all times.

If you're looking for music, art, shopping, or some R&R, Tennessee has something for everyone! There's the Grand Ole Opry, Opry Mills Mall, parks, and great walking trails with incredible views. Tennessee is just a very scenic, beautiful state overall!
There is a minimum of a two night stay and a maximum of seven nights. Guests are allowed two dogs to stay at the property up to 50lb each ( a guest must declare pet guests and pay appropriate fees for any pets to be allowed on the property).Please refrain from letting your fur babies on the furniture. Also, please don't give Fido a bath or allow Fido in the bathtubs. That will result in additional cleaning fees as well as property damage fees. Pet hair and pet odors can be extremely hard to remove from upholstery. Pet hair can easily cause drainage issues, and the dogs toenails could scratch the bathtubs.
Stays over seven nights will incur a fifteen dollar per day additional cleaning charge. Stays longer than fourteen nights must be approved prior to booking (instant booking for over fourteen days will not be accepted)
Smoking or vaping is allowed in designated outside areas only. Any smoking or vaping inside the home will result in additional cleaning fees. There are ashtrays in the designated smoking ares on site, use as needed. Please don't throw cigarette butts in the inside trashcan. It will most likely make the house smell like cigarettes.
Thermostat room temperature is set as non occupancy in between stays to regulate and maintain moisture control when the dwelling is vacant. We invite and expect all guests to adjust the comfort level reasonably,and accordingly, the thermostat is on the wall in the dining room/kitchen eating area. During your stay, we expect and welcome everyone to adjust the comfort level. We ask, please dont turn air conditioning temp lower than 69°, in the summer as it is a climate controlled system, reducing humidity. It's a very cool and comfortable atmosphere in the warmer months. As well as the dryness in the winter, please keep heating temperatures no higher than 79°, this temperatures should be very accommodating, if anything isn't working or not working correctly please CALL, TEXT ,OR MSG, right away. We will be to the property as soon as we possibly can!

On the main level you will find our beautifully appointed kitchen stocked with everything you would need to cook a delicious dinner along with a small dining table and 2 bar stools at the countertop. A large living space featuring cathedral ceilings and a sleek fireplace surrounded by wood accent panelling is the perfect spot to relax in front of the fire while watching tv after a day exploring downtown. Additionally there are two bedrooms on this level, a full bathroom and laundry. If you are traveling with a toddler we have a `pack n play` onsite for your use.

On the second floor, we have our 3rd bedroom with two full sized beds and an attached en-suite bathroom. There is also a loft area that contains a twin bunk bed along with a pull-out twin trundle beneath, providing 3 extra beds in this space. The loft also has a small couch and TV for the kids to enjoy along with a dedicated work space if anyone needs to hop on a laptop!

The original cabin structure pre-civil war era was reconstructed on this property by famed preservationist builder Braxton Dixon. There are antiques found locally and original to the cabin when we purchased it. Full size modern kitchen with new appliances, bathroom with oversized tile shower and stack washer and dryer. Our Cottage is surrounded by woods and wildlife , it is very quiet and peaceful. You can drive 30 minutes to downtown Nashville ( if normal traffic) and The Grand Ole Opry. We are only minutes from shopping ,with many great restaurants, and a movie theater at The Streets of Indian Lake in Hendersonville TN. We are only 15 minutes to Old Hickory Lake for some of the best fishing in the state. Or maybe you would rather hang at the cottage and cook your own food. We have 60 inch TV with Wifi and Roku in both TV's. Our Cottage is furnished with all you need to cook, except for the food. There is a gas grill. A great coffee station, With a Kuering coffee maker with pods, also a Mr Coffee with a grinder. We live separate house on the same property. The Cozy Cottage is our guest house. We want to make your stay as comfy as possible! There is a high Quality King Size mattress and TV in the Huge master bedroom. We have central Air Conditioning/Heat Pump. Here on our farm you can enjoy "The best of both worlds". After spending your day enjoying the sights and sounds of downtown Nashville and Middle Tennessee retreat to the fresh country air and serenity of this log cabin home. Sitting on a 5 acre private farm just 35 minutes north of downtown Nashville in the town of Cottontown, the cabin is conveniently only 10 minutes from I-65.

We have furnished the cabin with your comfort in mind. You will find a large open living area with a stone gas fireplace for chilly cozy evenings. There is a full kitchen with everything you'll need for home-cooked meals complete with a full size refrigerator and dishwasher. The main floor master bedroom features a queen size bed and private bath with jacuzzi tub. Upstairs there is a bedroom with two twin beds plus, a loft with another twin bed, and a rollaway bed available upon request. The loft also has a desk for guest use with twin monitors and a 2nd full bath with a stand up shower. A washer & dryer are also provided for your convenience. Outside you can relax on one of two porches watching the cows graze.

Around the farm you will occasionally see deer making their way across the pasture. You will encounter rabbits too - especially at night. Our cows may come to the fence to see who is here.

There is also a full laundry room if you find yourself staying for an extended period of time with us and need to wash some clothes, towels and sheets etc!

If playing games is an essential element of your travels, then enjoy the games table and arcade machine located in the upstairs loft area, but it certainly doesn’t stop there, keep reading and you’ll learn all about our ‘hang-out barn’…

So one of the true highlights of this home is its spacious outdoor areas. Enjoy lounging on your rocking chair covered front porch or dining outside on the wrap around rear deck. Read a book in a hammock and hopefully catch a glimpse of the regular wildlife visitors such as Tennessee deer & turkey. Or a short stroll from the house brings you to our outdoor fire pit which is a great place to roast marshmallows and tell fireside stories. And then there is our detached ‘hang-out barn’ which features an amazing upstairs games room with a large flat screen TV, ample seating and games such as ping pong, pacman, basketball shooter, foosball and more. You can even play corn hole down below, sheltered from the elements in the lower level of the barn or soak and relax in the hot tub!

Here is a breakdown of the bed arrangements throughout the home so you have a good understanding of where everyone might sleep:

The master bedroom is located on the main level and features a king sized bed. We also have an additional roll-away twin bed that is stored in the master closet. (This room can sleep up to 3 people).

The bunk room is also located on the main level and features 2 sets of twin bunks (This is an ideal sleeping room for kids in your group and can sleep up to 4 people)

Bedroom #2 is located upstairs and contains a queen sized bed. (This room can sleep up to 2 people)

Bedroom #3 is located upstairs and contains a queen sized bed and an additional twin day bed with twin trundle underneath (This room can sleep up to 4 people)

Bedroom #4 is located upstairs and contains a twin bunk bed and an additional twin day bed with twin trundle underneath (This room can sleep up to 4 people)

All of our bunk beds throughout the house are rated for 200lbs per bed.

1 housekeeping rule that we would like to share with all prospective guests is that we are located to the rear of a community of 4 homes all individually on 5-7 acre lots spaced nicely apart, however the home is accessed by a shared driveway and we ask that for the safety and solitude of the neighboring families to always drive slowly and respectfully when approaching the property, refrain from playing loud music on the exterior of the home at all times and always respect the traditional quiet hours of 10pm-8am that most vacation rentals adhere to.

Come stay on this secluded 33 acre farm, just 35 miles North of Nashville, 35 miles South of Bowling Green, and close to several historic sites and antique stores. This log cabin lies at the end of a dead end road, nestled near the small, southern fork of the Red River, with about 1/4 mile stretch of the river bordering the property. Easy access to walk to the creek. RV carport with electrical hookup available right outside of the cabin.
Guest access
All of the cabin is available to guests, except for the basement, one hall closet, and outside buildings. No one else lives here or within 1/3 of a mile, so you have the house and property all to yourself.
Other things to note
Short walking trails available overlooking the small fork of the river. The creek is easily accessible to walk to at the creeks bend in front of the cabin for sunbathing, wading, or fishing; however, the fish are very small and limited since this river fork is more like the size of an average sized creek. Roughly 30 acres are available for walking and viewing wildlife. People have been known to spot bald eagles, deer, turkeys, raccoons, coyotes, as well as all sorts of birds including owls and a Blue Heron which lives along the creek and can be heard in the early evenings. Featuring 3000sqft of living space, situated on a 2.5 acre lot with a wonderful pool to relax your work stresses away, we can't wait to welcome you to our home.

Within the house, you will find 3 spacious bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a very large bonus room that doubles as a flex space and additional sleeping quarters. The master suite is located on the main level along with the living room, dining room, breakfast area and kitchen. The other 2 bedrooms and bonus room are located upstairs. Additionally the attached garage has been converted into a games room, perfect for the kids to play in and get out of under foot!

Step out of the back door and you will be greeted by a wonderful swimming pool, ample sun loungers, a grill to cook upon and Tennessee wildlife to gaze at!

Please be aware that we do have immediate neighbors and actually share a driveway with our next door neighbor. Party's are not permitted and we do ask that you are conscientious of the noise level at the home so that we can maintain our peaceful surroundings.

Welcome to the farm house at Rock Ridge Retreat.

Nestled on 65 Acres, surrounded by forest, this truly unique & family-friendly place is yours to enjoy & yet just 20 mins from Broadway!

What’s magical about this incredible property is not just the forest and nature all around you, but the home itself is simply teeming with love and personal affection. Just like most cabins in the woods, it comes with its squeaks and rustic aesthetics, but what is truly remarkable is the hand-built touches you will see displayed throughout… The original owners were a loving couple comprised of a carpenter and an artist who specialized in pottery who lived here for almost 40 yrs. You will see their finger prints everywhere you look, from hand carved staircases to hand kilned tile and ceramic walls/floors!

Despite not being an overly large home, we do feature 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms and can accommodate groups of up to 14 guests.
3 of the bedrooms are located up the hand carved spiral staircase and they share the use of 2 full bathrooms. The master suite includes a king sized bed and has direct bathroom access. Both secondary bedrooms on this floor contain queen size beds.
Downstairs you will find a cozy living room that has a pull out queen size sleeper sofa if needed. This living room opens into the fully equipped kitchen which in-turn is directly adjacent to 2 dining areas and a glass sunroom. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy a meal together or watch the plethora of wildlife that has a habit of simply strolling through the woods right outside your windows!
Up another short staircase is our 4th bedroom which also has it’s own private entrance. This room is set up great for kids and we fondly refer to it as ‘the bunk room’. This bedroom includes a full bed and 4 twin sized beds in bunk formation and can sleep upto 6 kids comfortably. It also has its own newly renovated en-suite bathroom. Close the door to this room and the kids can make as much noise as they like!

Designed to accommodate family adventures, we have taken the time to provide several games, puzzles, toys, stuffed animals and even a large box of legos to keep kids occupied for hours.

In addition to a decent sized pantry and plenty of cabinet space to store groceries, we have a stackable washer/dryer to allow washing of towels and clothes during your stay.

We do want to let all guests know that despite us having almost 66 acres, we do prohibit any guests from hunting on the premises for the safety of others and deer trails are naturally overgrown from spring-fall so it`s not navigable during these seasons. Once the leaves drop towards winter time, the woods are much more open but they are still very steep in places. A waterfall does nestle down in the valley and we will endeavor to provide a recommended way to reach it in the winter, but know that this is a strenuous hike and shouldn`t be attempted by young children, elderly or anyone suffering from ailments or pregnant. Please enjoy the immediate areas around the farm house if you have to take your dogs out for a walk. Please keep them on a leash and clean up any mess after you.

Lastly, there are two buildings located either side of the farmhouse that will be renovated to provide additional accommodations within our woodland retreat once completed. As we know that renovations can be noisy at times, we have not only requested that our contractors keep the noise level to a minimum and refrain from working on weekends, but we have decided that the pricing we set for the farmhouse during this time-period is reduced from what the standard rates will be going forward in the future. All pricing you see listed has already taken that reduction into account. If you feel that having some renovations going on at adjacent buildings during your stay is not what you and your group are seeking, then we encourage you to not book with us at this time and consider booking with us in the future once everything is completed!

Welcome to the newest addition in our collection of homes in the Nashville area. This home is located 30 minutes North of downtown Nashville & is tucked away in a quiet community. Nestled in a cul-de-sac with just a few neighbors and some lovely woodlands, it is a very peaceful spot.
With an abundance of sleeping arrangements, this home makes a great place for family gatherings and multi-family meet ups.
Enjoy sitting on the back deck or playing games in the basement area of this cozy property.

The main level features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master suite has a king bed along with an en-suite bathroom with large soaking tub, separate shower and spacious walk-in closet.
The secondary bedrooms feature full sized beds and access to a full bathroom in the corridor.
Additional rooms on this floor include a laundry area with washer and dryer. A spacious kitchen equipped with everything you'll need for your stay. A lovely living room with space for 7 to sit around the fireplace or infront of the the TV. A breakfast room with seating for 6. A dining room with seating for 6, and access to the rear deck that features an outdoor dining table for 6 along with additional seating for 5 more to gather around with coffee or a glass of wine.

Downstairs includes the following layout for your use -

The main living area on this floor is a wide open space with comfortable seating around a wall-mounted flat screen TV and a Mural to take some holiday snapshots infront of!
Finally there is a games room featuring an arcade machine and a multi-functional games table including foosball and mini-pool.

It is a cozy neighborhood and the home is located towards the end of a cul-de-sac. There are a couple of neighbors so we do ask that noise levels are respected at all times and to honor quiet hours between 9pm and 8am too.

Peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Only 25-30 min from Nashville. The house is close enough to the city but has a countryside feel—A back deck where you can enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
Also 10 min from Hendersonville and White House. These towns have lots of restaurants and fun activities.
Please be aware that this is my primary residence and closet space will not be available. Our day to day groceries will begin refrigerator, there will be space for guest drinks and food of course. We are pet friendly but please be aware of your pup at all times and if you leave them in the house please use a kennel..

Our Favorite Place is a newly remodeled home just 25 minutes from Nashville! Set in a quiet neighborhood within 2 miles of restaurants, groceries and shopping areas. We have included everything you may need to make “Our Favorite Place” into YOUR new Favorite Place! From books, puzzles, games, and even luxurious spa robes to use during your stay, we have tried to think of everything. Sun yourself on the top deck overlooking the quiet back yard, or hang out below on the bed swing while grilling your favorite meal! Let your kids run free in the huge fenced in back yard! Relax Take your pick between the gorgeous rocking porch front swing, or take a nap on the massive swing bed in the back patio! Just bring yourself and some clothes! Everything else is just waiting for you to enjoy!

PLEASE NOTE: Our Favorite Place is Pet Friendly WITH the following caveats:
***Pet fee is PER PET. Any amount due beyond $75 for ONE pet will be added to your stay. All pets must remain crated when left alone. All pets must be leashed when on the property. All Guests must clean up after their pet waste. An extra cleaning fee will be added to your stay if pet waste is not taken care of prior to checkout.

-There are 3 Private Bedrooms in the home which sleep 6 people. Two additional guests may sleep on the couch in the Living Room, or downstairs On the Family Room couch. Please note: the air throughout the home will cycle constantly. Wether heat or cool is called for it will circulate throughout the entire home. Please do not adjust the main thermostat. There is a remote for the heat/air unit attached to the wall. Adjust as needed, but put directly back in the holder.
Books, some games and puzzles are in the bar drawers.
-Children’s water park and splash pad are within walking distance of our home. Easy access without walking on busy roads.
