- "Very nice property" - "This hilltop home provided us a fabulous place to put up family members over Thanksgiving. The host is very quick to communicate & address any issues, and the property is decorated with a spectacular eye for rustic elegance. All the amenities were satisfactory or better, TVs and Internet worked well, it has a very nice coffee bar and the super-spacious kitchen gave us plenty of room to prepare holiday dishes and mingle. The beds were very comfortable (one firmer and one softer), and the outdoor space was as advertised: we easily parked 3 cars with room for more. Nestled in the trees, we saw lots of bird activity! The driveway is a bit steep but it wasn't an issue for us, and the house is privately situated in a friendly farming community in a lovely, rural part of the state, but not too far from the bustling Nashville suburbs and only a few country miles (watch out for deer & other wildlife) from the towns of White House & Gallatin, where you can meet almost any restaurant and grocery needs etc. We would absolutely recommend this charming guest suite rental to anyone staying in the area. 5 stars+!!"

A couple of house-keeping items to bear in mind.

There are 16 steps from parking level to the entrances both at the front and back of the home.

This home is not only a pet-free property, but both smoking and drug free too. Any indication that those rules are being broken will lead to us having to immediately cancel your stay with us.

As with all our pools, the standard season is from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Lastly, attached to the home is an owner lockout area in the basement which is never rented out. On a rare occasion (a few days a year), the owner may utilize that space for a few hours. If that should happen we will let you know, but it is a separated space and you would not be disturbed or likely even know it was being used!

As you enter the property, the driveway splits in 2. All guests must veer to the right and park on this side of the home. The left section of the driveway is off-limits as it is a private garage.

Children are not allowed in the pool without adult supervision at all times.

If you're looking for music, art, shopping, or some R&R, Tennessee has something for everyone! There's the Grand Ole Opry, Opry Mills Mall, parks, and great walking trails with incredible views. Tennessee is just a very scenic, beautiful state overall!
There is a minimum of a two night stay and a maximum of seven nights. Guests are allowed two dogs to stay at the property up to 50lb each ( a guest must declare pet guests and pay appropriate fees for any pets to be allowed on the property).Please refrain from letting your fur babies on the furniture. Also, please don't give Fido a bath or allow Fido in the bathtubs. That will result in additional cleaning fees as well as property damage fees. Pet hair and pet odors can be extremely hard to remove from upholstery. Pet hair can easily cause drainage issues, and the dogs toenails could scratch the bathtubs.
Stays over seven nights will incur a fifteen dollar per day additional cleaning charge. Stays longer than fourteen nights must be approved prior to booking (instant booking for over fourteen days will not be accepted)
Smoking or vaping is allowed in designated outside areas only. Any smoking or vaping inside the home will result in additional cleaning fees. There are ashtrays in the designated smoking ares on site, use as needed. Please don't throw cigarette butts in the inside trashcan. It will most likely make the house smell like cigarettes.
Thermostat room temperature is set as non occupancy in between stays to regulate and maintain moisture control when the dwelling is vacant. We invite and expect all guests to adjust the comfort level reasonably,and accordingly, the thermostat is on the wall in the dining room/kitchen eating area. During your stay, we expect and welcome everyone to adjust the comfort level. We ask, please dont turn air conditioning temp lower than 69°, in the summer as it is a climate controlled system, reducing humidity. It's a very cool and comfortable atmosphere in the warmer months. As well as the dryness in the winter, please keep heating temperatures no higher than 79°, this temperatures should be very accommodating, if anything isn't working or not working correctly please CALL, TEXT ,OR MSG, right away. We will be to the property as soon as we possibly can!

On the main level you will find our beautifully appointed kitchen stocked with everything you would need to cook a delicious dinner along with a small dining table and 2 bar stools at the countertop. A large living space featuring cathedral ceilings and a sleek fireplace surrounded by wood accent panelling is the perfect spot to relax in front of the fire while watching tv after a day exploring downtown. Additionally there are two bedrooms on this level, a full bathroom and laundry. If you are traveling with a toddler we have a `pack n play` onsite for your use.

On the second floor, we have our 3rd bedroom with two full sized beds and an attached en-suite bathroom. There is also a loft area that contains a twin bunk bed along with a pull-out twin trundle beneath, providing 3 extra beds in this space. The loft also has a small couch and TV for the kids to enjoy along with a dedicated work space if anyone needs to hop on a laptop!

The original cabin structure pre-civil war era was reconstructed on this property by famed preservationist builder Braxton Dixon. The cabin has been beautifully renovated with careful attention to providing modern comfort along with beautiful interiors. There are antiques found locally and original to the cabin when we purchased it. Full size modern kitchen with new appliances, bathroom with oversized tile shower and stack washer and dryer. The right place to compose, create or have a great getaway with family and friends. There is a second cabin several hundred feet away on the same acreage, also once owned by the Cash family, also available “Log Cabin Dreamy Loft Suite”

Our Cottage is surrounded by woods and wildlife , it is very quiet and peaceful. You can drive 30 minutes to downtown Nashville ( if normal traffic) and The Grand Ole Opry. We are only minutes from shopping ,with many great restaurants, and a movie theater at The Streets of Indian Lake in Hendersonville TN. We are only 15 minutes to Old Hickory Lake for some of the best fishing in the state. Or maybe you would rather hang at the cottage and cook your own food. We have 60 inch TV with Wifi and Roku in both TV's. Our Cottage is furnished with all you need to cook, except for the food. There is a gas grill. A great coffee station, With a Kuering coffee maker with pods, also a Mr Coffee with a grinder. We live separate house on the same property. The Cozy Cottage is our guest house. We want to make your stay as comfy as possible! There is a high Quality King Size mattress and TV in the Huge master bedroom. We have central Air Conditioning/Heat Pump. Once our guest leave we replace ALL bed linens and wash all rugs and towels!! I am a clean fanatic!! We treat others how we would want to be treated,please do the same! NO PETS ALLOWED!!! $200 charge if any sign of smoking inside is found.ABSOLUTELY NO illegal DRUGS of any kind. . Our cottage is for 2 Guest ONLY! 1 guest must be 25 years or older

Here on our farm you can enjoy "The best of both worlds". After spending your day enjoying the sights and sounds of downtown Nashville and Middle Tennessee retreat to the fresh country air and serenity of this log cabin home. Sitting on a 5 acre private farm just 35 minutes north of downtown Nashville in the town of Cottontown, the cabin is conveniently only 10 minutes from I-65.

We have furnished the cabin with your comfort in mind. You will find a large open living area with a stone gas fireplace for chilly cozy evenings. There is a full kitchen with everything you'll need for home-cooked meals complete with a full size refrigerator and dishwasher. The main floor master bedroom features a queen size bed and private bath with jacuzzi tub. Upstairs there is a bedroom with two twin beds plus, a loft with another twin bed, and a rollaway bed available upon request. The loft also has a desk for guest use with twin monitors and a 2nd full bath with a stand up shower. A washer & dryer are also provided for your convenience. Outside you can relax on one of two porches watching the cows graze.

Around the farm you will occasionally see deer making their way across the pasture. You will encounter rabbits too - especially at night. Our cows may come to the fence to see who is here.
