Our house is also close to the downtown area, within walking distance to supermarkets, parks, schools, golf courses, etc. The entire community is nicely landscaped and is conveniently bordered by the 210 freeway to the north and the 10 freeway to the south. - "I really wanted to like this property. Unfortunately it wasn't very clean, the couch has stains there's cobwebs, the corners are all dirty and the baseboards. The fancy shower doesn't function really in the fancy way it's just a standard shower none of the extra shower heads work there's knobs missing and levers so try to get it to even change the temperature is extremely difficult. I emailed the host twice before the day we arrived if there was an iron and an ironing board available and I got no response. There's an iron there's no ironing board and the iron leaks. The bathroom was just covered in like hard water stains on everything even the mirror wasn't clean enough to see your reflection without getting a towel and really having to polish it. And the house is tiny like maybe 800 square feet the pictures make it look bigger. That didn't bother me as much it's not that big of a deal. And you can tell that all of the work that was done to upgrade this house was most likely not done by a licensed contractor but someone who calls himself a handyman and then takes sloppy shortcuts. And it's part of a duplex and there's no yard that's functional."

We have a newly furnished family home in the city of Claremont only ½ a mile to the college campuses and the downtown Claremont area full of restaurants and shops. We have 4 bedrooms plus a 5th room which is a private separate working office. We have a nice garden, and outdoor area, which includes a deck w/rocking chairs, a cornhole game, bistro table, and a propane bbq grill. - "We booked this property over a month in advance to visit our son in the area. We could not get them to give us checkin instructions. Eventually we got host to call us only after contacting vrbo. He told us a story about previous renter being sick and tried to move us to a different house 30 minutes away. We drove by house and it is under construction; their story was a lie. They never should’ve accepted a booking. We had to scramble to find a hotel, then had to go buy clothes since we were coming from another trip and we were counting on doing laundry. This host is clearly a liar and would not recommend dealing with them. The only positive thing I can say is we received a very quick refund."

NO UNAUTHORIZED MAIL/PACKAGES - We do not allow anyone to receive mail or packages at our unit. If this rule is broken and you mail something to the property, we will not take any liability if your parcel has been lost or stolen.

PERMISSION TO ACCESS THE PROPERTY - The guest shall allow the property owner or any designated workers access to the unit for landscaping, routine maintenance, cleaning, repairs, and inspection of the property.

QUIET HOURS - To avoid disturbing the neighbors, we impose quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM every day, including holidays. Violation of this rule may result in removal from the unit without a refund, in addition to a minimum $100 fine.

Located in a gated community at the edge of Angeles National Forests this home is surrounded by parks and a couple of golf courses. A short 3-mile drive will take you to Historic Route 66. There you can find many stores and eateries to enjoy along the street. A few miles away is the city of Claremont, home to Claremont Colleges. There are many things to enjoy and explore while staying in this exclusive home. Minimum 31 days stay required!

- "My family of 5 stayed at this house for 3.5 months while my husband underwent surgery and treatment at City of Hope. The home and yard are beautiful from the outside, and most importantly it was a safe neighborhood. Upon our arrival, it was clear that the house had not been used for some time. We had several issues right from the beginning that were quite inconvenient: washing machine leaked all over the floor, dishwasher didn't work for the first month, and refrigerator and freezer thawed and we lost an entire fridge full of food. While these issues were addressed, it took some time and was an extra headache that we didn't need during an already stressful time for our family. Additionally, the kitchen of this house was fairly ill equipped. There were very few kitchen utensils and tools and not enough plates for the number of people that the home could accommodate. We ended up buying quite a bit of kitchen supplies. Some of the furniture in this house needs updating as well. The stools and chairs for eating at were all very rickety and kept falling apart with just normal use. One of the beds in the upstairs bedroom has a terribly uncomfortable mattress that would not have worked for an adult. Fortunately, that was the bedroom that my 4.5 year old twins used and they didn't complain. Setting those things aside, we did make use of the backyard each day. There is a very cool sliding wall of glass that opens up the whole kitchen area to the outside space. There is a hot tub with water feature that was a huge hit for my kids. We just heated it enough to function as a small pool. Another great perk of the backyard was the side driveway (probably meant for parking an RV). Since this area was within the fenced in backyard, it was perfect for my daughters to ride their bikes and scooters and to do chalk. The master bedroom and bathroom is spacious and updated and was very comfortable for us. We had several family members and friends come to visit and help us during our time there and they were able to stay comfortably in the guestroom upstairs that has an attached bathroom and king size bed. The other bedroom upstairs we used for my 1.5 year old who slept in a pack n play, so we didn't make use of the bed in that room. There is an office on the main level that is listed as a space to sleep, however it only has a futon and would not be comfortable for any length of time. Despite the challenges at the beginning, we did enjoy."

• Unapproved late check-outs will be charged $50 for every 30 minutes after 10 AM.
• A $500 fine per pet will be charged if you bring an undisclosed pet(s).
• No events / parties allowed. Quiet hours from 9 PM - 9 AM. Absolutely no loud music please. There is a $500 fee for any parties or events thrown in the home which caused disturbance to the neighbors and disturbance of quiet hours.

2 minute walk from the Ice House Canyon trailhead, which has multiple trails and follows the creek up the mountain. 5 minute drive from the world famous Mt. Baldy Lodge Restaurant, the visitor center and Mt. Baldy Trail. 5 minute drive to Mt. Baldy Ski Lifts which operate throughout the year.

A great spot for both romantic venturers and solo travelers alike. 2 yoga mats for exercising inside or on the deck. Enjoy a wide range of quality DVDs while you snuggle up on the couch. Watch the sunset on the deck with a glass of wine.
