Hello please read entire listing before booking so there is no confusion post booking regarding number of days guests/visitors/ use of pool. Our lovely home Sleeps 12 people with 6 Bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and off street tandem parking for 3 to 4 cars depending on car size. There is street parking in front that is permit parking or you can download the Asbury parking app to pay for daily street parking. Free parking 3 blocks away once you hit Grand street. NO more than 12 occupants allowed to stay at the home (children count as occupants this is dictated by the town) . Asbury’s has very specific rules as to occupancy as does our insurance so need to be abundantly clear that there is no inviting your friends who have rented a house close by for BBQ/pool parties. Facilities are for those on the rental agreement only.

We are just 2 blocks to beach and an easy walk into town or neighboring beach towns.

large (16x36) in-ground NO DIVE salt water pool (Pool open Memorial Day weekend and closes early September after Sea Hear Now music festival ). Pool heater will be set to 83. Please note photos there is no additional fence around the pool. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times when in backyard.

This authentic renovated Victorian built in 1900 can comfortably accommodate your family. Whether it's a family get-a-way or a summer retreat for a group of friends, you'll find our home is the perfect place to make new memories!

Our house offers 6 bedrooms (1 king, 4 Queen, one twin over full bunk bed), plus additional nursery furniture in one of the queen rooms if needed, and a full bathroom on all three floors (3rd floor steps could be steep for older guests has never been an issue but like to put it out there) The house has a large living room, and family room, plus the third floor has an additional family room for hanging out. We also offer a large open modern kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, and dining room with seating for 8, a washer and dryer, and a home office nook with free WiFi. The house has window unit air conditioning throughout. Two on main floor (kitchen and family room they cool the whole downstairs with no problem ) , third floor hang out room, and ALL bedrooms for those hot summer days. We also offer two flat screen TVs with YouTube Tv and three flat screen TV with Amazon TV. We have a huge wrap around front porch with Adirondack chairs to relax in the ocean breeze which in my opinion is the best place to be ! We also offer a large back yard with a propane grill, outdoor shower and outdoor sofas and chairs, lounge chairs, as well as an outdoor dining table with umbrella ( Table has seating for 10) as well as a large new in ground salt water pool. We have plenty of pool floaties and an electric pump. We also have lawn games for adults and kids. For early risers, we have two adult bikes and two kids bike to ride on the boardwalk. Also we provide 6 adult beach badges to use during your stay plenty of beach gear (sand toys, 10 beach chairs, cart, 2 umbrellas, soft cooler ) . Children under 12 do not need badges. If you need more badges You can obtain daily badges on the boardwalk. We also have added for our guests convenience a locker on the beach equipped with 8 beach chairs and two umbrellas.

The house is equipped with a crib, pack ‘n play, and stroller , beach toys, 10 beach chairs, umbrellas , beach carts and indoor toys. Also we offer baby gates on all stairways.

While we certainly want people to enjoy themselves this isn’t your party house. It is a family home , and we have neigbors who we are respectful of and expect the same of our guests. If that isn’t the experience you want then this isn’t the house for you. We want our guests to have a great vacation so please adhere to common courtesy and rules. Have signed the pool liability waiver are allowed to be at the house NO EXCEPTIONS.

Please note for security We have a ring doorbell, and cameras in the driveway and backyard for security only.

If you want the heater turned higher than 83 there is an additional fee $50 day, and we must have 2 days prior notice. No one is authorized to touch any pool equipment. In order to be good neighbors, please keep the noise down in the yard especially in the evenings continued complaints by Neigbors you will be required to vacate and will NOT receive a refund. The pool service comes Fridays to clean the pool. You may be asked to stay out of it for a bit of time. We do not have daily pool service or lifeguards.

Note: changeover day is Friday with a firm 10 AM check-out unless pre-approved in writing by owner (with an additional hourly rate )to ensure the home can be cleaned and ready for our next guests to check-in.

The home has two full-time occupied apartments on the side with completely separate entrance from the main house for privacy and no access to house or to backyard. Vacation renters have exclusive use of driveway, porch and backyard. You likely won’t even notice the apartments as there are no common areas.

Asbury Park is such a dynamic beach town! There is a thriving and historic music scene, a more recently established (last 20ish years) LGBTQ community, and a BEACH. This house checks all the boxes:

1- BEACH- IT'S 2 BLOCKS FROM THE BEACH!!! It is actually the first house from the beach. In the two blocks between the beach and our house sit the Stone Pony and Porta (YUM!). We can see the ocean from the balcony off the primary bedroom.

2- Gay- We are a queer family and pumped to join this community and share our home with other queer beach babes. (Please note: Straight-identifying beach babes also welcome.)

3- Music history- We bought it from the previous owners of the iconic venue, the Stone Pony, which is at the end of our street. In the early 2000's, Bruce Springsteen would close the Stone Pony and come back to the house to continue playing!

As a nod to our house's history, each bedroom celebrates NJ born musicians and the history of Asbury Park from different decades. Much of the artwork is from local artists (and some available for purchase!).

Inside: 6.5 bedrooms: 2 King (one on the first floor), 3 Queen (One on the first floor), one Full and one kids room with bunk beds and toys. There is also a living room, dining room, kitchen, office + 3.5 bathrooms.

Outside: Huge wrap around porch with table, chairs, and most importantly a grill. We recently added a side patio with a luxe size outdoor sectional!

Other important deets:

All linens and towels, including beach towels, will be provided. We will also have a couple beach chairs, sand toys, beach bags, etc. and 6 beach season passes available (12 and under are free).

Check in time is 4pm, Checkout is 11am.

PARKING NOTE: We don’t have any off-street parking spaces, unfortunately. Thankfully, everything is super walkable and all the parking around the house is metered (which is actually good because there are more spaces available than when it was free parking). You can stay around the clock for a pretty reasonable charge. There is also free parking two blocks away where you can drop the car a little further out and leave it.

Beautiful home built in the early 1900's. Two of it's best features are the breathtaking lake view and custom heated pool with hot tub seasonal only. The home has 2 living spaces on the main floor. Dining room with table that seats 6.
Kitchen and family room lead out onto a porch overlooking both the pool and lake. Wait til you see the "She/He/They Shed"
Kitchen table seats 6-8. New floating dock that you can fish off of and look at the ducks and turtles. The yard is big enough to play a multitude of games.
The second floor hosts 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The primary bedroom with king bed has its own bathroom and walk in closet and a shower big enough for a whole family. The middle bedroom has a queen bed. The 3rd bedroom has a full sized and a twin sized bed in the room.

Stunning house on Deal Lake with a spacious deck only feet from the water. The house is positioned with panoramic lakes views and complete privacy from the street. The serene location is perfect for quiet meals on the deck and private relaxation in the built-in hot-tub overlooking the water.

The house is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Asbury Park, and less than a mile from the beach and Asbury Park Boardwalk. It was completely renovated in 2012 to include hardwood flooring, two luxurious spa-like bathrooms, a high-end gourmet kitchen, spacious entertainment areas, three bedrooms and an office. The first floor has two guest bedrooms (one king and one queen size bed), a full bathroom with quadruple rain shower, kitchen, dining, living and sun rooms boosting panoramic lake views in three directions. The lakeside terrace, accessible through oversize glass sliding doors from the living room and the sun room, is complete with a dining table for ten and a brand-new built-in hot tub for seven.

The entire second floor provides the privacy of a spacious master bedroom with a custom-made larger than king (106”) bed, a full bathroom with rain shower and tub, and a spacious office providing a comfortable and peaceful work environment should you bring your work with you. The office can also be used as a fourth bedroom if needed with inflatable mattresses. We provide two full size inflatable mattresses, including all necessary bedding and linens, for this purpose. Although the home has a very warm and cozy feeling, it is very modern with amenities such as built-in speakers and sound system throughout, recessed/dimmable lighting, and dual zone A/C temperature controls. This is truly a place that is secluded enough to give you complete privacy on the lake, yet within walking distance to the famous Asbury Park boardwalk and the exciting nightlife that Asbury Park has to offer. Also included during your stay are 2 kayaks for use on the lake, and five bicycles to easily get around town.

The house sleeps 6 people in regular beds in three bedrooms. For larger groups, the office can be used as a fourth bedroom together with inflatable mattresses. We provide two full size inflatable mattresses, including all necessary bedding and linens, for this purpose.

This is a custom designed 3 story home, in the safe, treelined northwest, quiet and peaceful section of Asbury Park. Because of all the artworks and furnishings, this is not a party house. Strong WiFi on each floor and even outside on patio. The entire house (including all linens, blankets and towels) is sterilized after each visit. 4 beach passes provided during your stay.
The primary suite, is the the entire 3rd floor, and features a full private bathroom w soaking tub and has a well designed desk for working. Plenty of fine quality pillows, towels and linens, cleaning supplies and paper towels, soaps + shampoos all provided.
The second floor, which is a sun drenched with an open floor plan. The comfortable living room features designer furniture and library. This is a 2nd floor unit that requires stairs for access. Guests will be provided with check-in instructions and a personal keycode 3 days prior to and the day of arrival. The 'Cottage' side of this house dates back to the late 1840's and as had an exterior restoration of the original Board and Batten facing. We encourage our guests to enjoy the process with us, (as much as they care to). This room is idea for 1 but can accommodate 2.
This is host present home sharing, it is not a complete unit rental. We do ask that you try to keep to check in and check out times as we do not have a 24/7 reception desk. Times can be reasonably adjusted with advance notice.

The space
This airy 2nd floor bedroom (complete with skylight is housed in one of the oldest structures in town. A separate entrance is available. Our quaint cottage once belonged to James Bradley, the founder of Asbury Park. Full disclosure, we are still a work in progress (our loving restoration of this house will probably continue forever) but every is room comfortable and fully functional with many 21st century amenities.
We are pet friendly (we have a dog of our own) so well socialized dogs are welcome. We also have a cat, they are NOT allowed in guests room!

Guest access
You will have exclusive use of the skylight bedroom with a trundle bed which sleeps two. This bedroom has its own full bath (with vintage claw foot tub and modern shower) across the hall. There is cable TV and internet access in this room as well.

During your stay
Skylight bedroom guests have access to the common areas of the downstairs--so feel free to hang out in the living room, lounge in the sun room, rock on our front porch or use the gas grill in our back yard.
We are always in residence in the Master Suite when ever guests are expected.

Don't feel like socializing? No problem, you will always have access to a basket of complementary snacks.

Covid Care

For the protection of our guests, and ourselves (we live here too), we have been implementing the following procedures in our home.
Guests are offered a separate entrance from that of the other residents.
The guest room and bath have always been private, for your exclusive use while you are here.
After each guest’s stay the room and bath are cleaned and sanitized, including the floors and especially all high touch areas such as TV, remote controls, AC units, door knobs, door frames, mirrors, etc. This is also true of the common/shared areas of the house. The AC filter is also removed and sanitized.
All bed linens, towels and fabrics are laundered and heat treated, then stored for at least a week before being used again. The mattresses have been covered with plastic covers to eliminate the possibility of spreading of germs into the mattress through the sheets. The plastic covers and bed frames are also sanitized after each use.
In addition to toiletries, we provide guests with sanitizing wipes, and hand sanitizer as well as masks and gloves for their personal use.

As you enter the home, you will be greeted with a space to store large items like bikes and a small working area with a desk. You will walk up stairs to the main living area, a bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a full bath.

The Pearl is a cozy 3 bed, 1 bath, single story, single family home. Queen size beds in all 3 rooms! To ensure the best experience for guests and neighbors alike, no more than the requested amount of guests will be permitted on the property for any portion of the stay unless explicitly discussed with the host.

The kitchen has a fully stocked coffee station and barstool seating for two. The living room has a smart frame TV with Netflix and other streaming services, as well as games, books and magazines.

Villa Sempurna is my Balinese paradise in one of Asbury's grand homes on the East side. All the art and furnishings are custom designed and hand made in Bali, my second home. It's like staying at a Balinese White Lotus!

Walk through the hand carved Javanese archway doors into Henry's Hang-Out, a private room with on-suite bath. Henry (my dad) was the original "Boss".

At Villa attention to detail and luxury is foremost! Daily housekeeping is included gratis upon request.

The space
As you enter Villa Sempurna you are greeted by a magnificent Chen sculpture, unique hand carved antique Javanese doors and sandblasted sliding doors that entice you to enter into Henry's Hang-Out. Indonesian marble floors throughout embrace the hand bent recycled wrought iron Gothic bed as it floats with a Saki glass statue beaming behind.

A down stuffed velvet cut "L" shaped couched sits in front of a teak and brass table which is itself a piece of art. The room is peppered throughout with interesting uniqueness.

The bedroom leads to a "closet armoire", and a full bath with custom glass and marble shower. Appointed with Henry's Hang-Out organic shampoo, shower gel and conditioner.
Through the sandblasted Tribal Dyak designed doors you see a mirrored duplicate of the glass door in stainless steel and teak There is the private toilet area with mirrored and tumbled marbled walls and sink on a custom Chen-designed stand.

Now let me share this with you a little history of the eponymous "Henry" of Henry's Hang-Out. Henry, my dad, was the original "Boss". He was born and bred in Brooklyn, and later started the junket business in Vegas and beyond with his wife, my mother, Pearlie girlie (of my Pearl's Hideaway suite).

Henry appeared in and produced the first drug movie "Superfly" and later became a major clothing manufacturer.
My memories of "the Boss" go as far back as celebrating my second birthday, celebrated on a crap table in a casino somewhere in the Bahamas or Vegas! Elvis picked me up on stage and sang little "Teddy Bear" to me. (Ironically I married a Teddy. Maybe Elvis knew something??)

My father Henry hung out with the "Rat Pack"! In fact, he made Sammy Davis' first Jewish star for him. These were the men I looked up to as a child: hard acts to follow, icons to emulate.

I wanted to create this venue with all the major influences in mind.

The space
This apartment is private and is half of the second floor and the entire third floor of a house. It’s a little over 1600 square feet. The other side of the duplex is the entire first floor and half of the second floor. I only mention this because it’s not your typical side by side duplex but they are entirely separate apartments with no shared spaces.

If stairs aren’t your strong point, this probably isn’t the space for you as there are two sets of stairs in the unit and one off the porch.

That being said, this is not a party unit and slamming, jumping (including children running/jumping) and loud music can be heard in the other unit like an apartment building and can be disruptive to other guests.

Please note the 2nd floor bathroom is a tub/shower combo and the third floor en-suite bath (where the trundle bed is as well) is a walk in shower. Both bedrooms have doors and the top floor en-suite bedroom is much larger than the second floor bedroom.

During the summer, it’s almost impossible for me to allow an early check in or late checkout because of a tight schedule with check-ins and outs.

Ask about the adjoining 4 bedroom, 3 full bath apartment with 4-5 parking for larger groups that is listed separately!!

Undisclosed animals that don’t have prior approval will result in a $500 fine.

Villa Sempurna is my Balinese paradise in 1 of the grand homes on the East side, & Pearl's Hideaway occupies an entire floor. All art & furnishings are custom designed & hand made in Bali, my second home. It's like staying at a White Lotus, a few blocks to the Boardwalk!

The 3rd floor luxurious French antique style romantic suite offers sitting areas, an extensive art collection, grand boudoir, architectural stonework, private bath w. walk-in shower, Jacuzzi soaker. Daily housekeeping gratis.

The space
This is an entire floor suite!!!! People often say this is one of the most unique houses they have ever seen. The whole house was designed and made in Indonesia, built into the shell of a Jersey Shore Victorian. The inside is Modern-Indonesian, but, the heart of this house is the energy and the people.

And of course, Pearlie's energy..she is all over the place. She was my mother, and Henry's queen (see my listing "Henry's Hideaway). I feel this space is filledwith love, beauty, knowledge, and openness of heart...like hers! Most importantly, you feel an energy so humble when you walk thru the doors....Something that feels good, feels nice, just right! I can't explain it but you will see when you step over the threshold...what can i tell you!?!

So once upon a time, this girl had no clue how fabulous, and delightful it would for the spirt to sit at night (regardless of the weather) on a porch! Well, if you have never, it is a must!!! You can hear music from the stone Pony, Wonderbar and watch as if your in Paris, the show passing by....
The entire floor is your private residence, with 2 sitting salons. There will be times when you will not want to leave, very cozy...

Ahh, She had a real Cinderella story.
Pearl met a handsome man named Henry, he looked like Ricki Ricardo,(Love at first sight) and eloped to Puerto Rico.
They traveled to Vegas, often, he was involved with the Hotel, Junket and Jewelry business.
So of course, his queen was bedazzled with the finest of jewels and traveled first class to faraway places.
Later on as years went by, he regarded her a his good luck charm, he entered into the mens and ladies garment business, bought his lucky charm a couple of catering halls…since she had a affinity for evening gowns and had a reason then to wear them every night!
He, had a taste for Deli so he opened up a couple of Jewish Deli’s
All this while maintaining his original business.
Both the garment and travel business gave them the opportunity to live all over the world…..

Where ever she went she touched peoples lives, she listened to them, and loved them in the most nurturing loving way, she had a special sarcasm about her that welcomed everyone with great big smiles.
she once stopped everyone from eating fish, insisting it could be one of her relatives, and refused let anyone buy, order or even talk about it….We thought it was early dementia, but, no it was her sense of humour, she had us going for weeks….
There are so many crazy stories about these two Zanny people its insane…If you were around them, and they wanted Italian food, they grab you and fly to Italy…no joke and anyone who was with you had to join!
Pearl spent a lot of time here, its full of her amazing energy, and we thought, wow! we gotta share this specialness….

The space
Just a beach stay for all the beach lovers! Simply decorated and clutter free. There's a double bed and pullout couch. We also have free wifi. It doesn't have a fully stacked kitchen. The unit is rather small, but comfy!

you will have this private, quiet guesthouse all to yourself ..14' ceilings and a 25'x10' balcony to sun on....it comes with 2 free beach passes, and a beach cart with 2 chairs and umbrella......you may have stayed in my front house with the peace sign, now, I am offering my rear guesthouse, originally built in the 1800's as a barn, this redesigned building with 14' ceilings was completely rebuilt in 2003 just 4 blocks from the beach. It is walking distance to everything.

The space
this is a great place for two, however, the property is not set up for children or pets......it is a quiet residential neighborhood retreat up in the trees so there is little tolerance of loud or drunk carrying on.

the guests will have access to the garage with 2 bicycles w/locks.......beach towels..........2 free beach badges........ I will be providing blue tooth speakers so you can access your music stations in the guesthouse.

Other things to note
the guesthouse accommodations are on the 2nd floor so if you have problems with the stairs it may not be for you.

Beachy, quaint house that was built in 1920. A little piece of heaven in an up and coming area. West Asbury colonial with all the amenities for a fun vacation or retreat! Big porch, fenced yard and newly updated bathrooms. Air conditioners and smart TV with basic cable. 10 blocks to the beach, 4 blocks to all the cool restaurants of Cookman Ave and 3 blocks to the train to NYC. New bathroom just built.

The space
Enjoy our fully stocked kitchen with island seating. The covered wrap around porch is great for catching up with friends and huge yard for games and bbq! Spacious dining room with table for gathering together. Coffee bar with Keurig and drip coffee plus starter coffee packs. Come with less stuff! We supply paper goods, foils and wrap, ziplock bags, towels , sheets, blankets, pillows and soaps. The great music venues of Asbury Park are less than a mile away. This house has steep stairs to second floor. (13 steps)There are two bathrooms and one is on the first floor. This rental will not be suitable for someone who cannot climb stairs. Yard is fully fenced in with gate.
