- "Just a lovely, wonderful place to stay for a few nights so close to the beach and boardwalk. Asbury Park has some wonderful restaurants too and everything so close to this great 2 porch (back & front) 1st floor 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment with finishing touches that fit to a T! Bath towels, bed sheets, beach towels were all provided and now I must talk about the beds. Probably the most comfortable beds my husband and I have ever slept in. The most, yup, I'm going to say it...luxurious mattresses, comforters, and pillows ever. We were on vacation for 4 nights but slept like we were responsibility-free for 4 months! And to be welcomed with bakery cookies and a basket of snacks on the counter of this beautiful fully stocked of everything-you-need kitchen. Oh, did I mention the chairs and umbrella for the beach? All you need to bring is some shorts and a bathing suit, this place had everything you would ever need on vacation. We have been traveling and renting at the NJ shore every summer for about 30+ years, this without a doubt had the most amenities and you can just tell that Cathy, the owner cares that her guests have a wonderful time. The primary bedroom offers a king bed and the second bedroom provides a queen bed with one (1) full bathroom near the bedrooms. Walk off breakfast the long way - boardwalk from Asbury, through Ocean Grove, Bradley Beach, Avon, Belmar, and Spring Lake. Take a nap on the beach in Asbury. Hit mini-golf and the Splash Park or the Silverball Museum and Arcade. 1/2 mile north of the apartment rent bikes from the Asbury Park Cyclery on Main Street. Walk along Deal Lake to Main Street and rent paddle boards or kayak or fishing tackle at the Deal Lake Dock Company. The ShowRoom Cinema shows an eclectic mix of foreign, indie, popular and documentary films. In our 1.4 square mile town there are 40+ restaurants and 35+ restaurant bars, nightclubs and music venues. If there's too much to do in the neighborhood, you can just relax on the beach.

Getting Around:
You can walk, bike, or skateboard everywhere. You can drive your own car, rent a car nearby, or come by train to Asbury Park station one mile from the apartment. Lyft and Uber drivers are practically on stand-by in Asbury Park.

The space
This apartment is private and is half of the second floor and the entire third floor of a house. It’s a little over 1600 square feet. The other side of the duplex is the entire first floor and half of the second floor. I only mention this because it’s not your typical side by side duplex but they are entirely separate apartments with no shared spaces.

If stairs aren’t your strong point, this probably isn’t the space for you as there are two sets of stairs in the unit and one off the porch.

That being said, this is not a party unit and slamming, jumping (including children running/jumping) and loud music can be heard in the other unit like an apartment building and can be disruptive to other guests.

Please note the 2nd floor bathroom is a tub/shower combo and the third floor en-suite bath (where the trundle bed is as well) is a walk in shower. Both bedrooms have doors and the top floor en-suite bedroom is much larger than the second floor bedroom.

During the summer, it’s almost impossible for me to allow an early check in or late checkout because of a tight schedule with check-ins and outs.

The space
Keyless check in. THE DRIVEWAY IS NOT INCLUDED IN RENTAL. There is free street parking on our block. No more than 4 adults unless specifically approved by host. Due to COVID-19, we have keyed the back door to the apartment and guests can choose to use it instead of front entry if they wish to minimize shared indoor space- It is down the driveway to the right. Day beach badges go on sale via the Viply app at 6:30 pm the night before. They are NOT limited in quantity this summer, so shouldn’t sell out. Please download the app and familiarize yourself with it prior to arrival. It will save you some time. We can easily push the 2 twin beds together if given notice. Please feel free to use the outdoor shower to rinse off after beach- down the driveway to the right. Coffee needs supplied, Roku TV, 4 beach towels, 2 beach chairs, (in the back bedroom closet), a few games in utility closet

This charming, renovated apartment is only 2 blocks from the beach and boardwalk in the desirable North Beach section of Asbury Park. The second floor apartment is located in a historic, Victorian home that was built in 1895. The Stone Pony and Wonder Bar are a short 5 minute walk and the downtown is a 10 min. walk. Enjoy the ocean breezes or if you prefer, relax in the cool AC. After a day at the beach, enjoy hanging out on the large, shared porch with an ocean view.

The space
The bedroom has a brand, new queen size bed with a 55 inch smart TV which you can use to sign-in to your favorite channels. Full bath with shower. High speed Wi-Fi/no cable.

The house is ideally located for easy access to all that Asbury has to offer, including restaurants, bars, the beach and boardwalk and even paddle board and kayak rentals on Deal Lake (approximately 5 blocks from the house). Access to two beach passes, beach chairs, and beach towels during your stay (summer season/only).

Welcome to your newly renovated 2-bedroom retreat, perfectly situated in a tranquil pocket of Asbury Park. If you're passionate about live music, delicious food, and sun-soaked beach days, you've found your ideal home away from home.

The space
2 bedroom apartment that can be configured for a variety of sleeping situations. Bedroom 1 is a queen bed with southern exposure and wall-mounted television. Windows have black-out shades for the music lovers who stayed out late catching their favorite band.

Bedroom 2 is a twin with a pop-up twin trundle bed that can be configured as two separate beds or one king sized bed. Bedroom includes a wall-mounted television, desk work space, and blackout curtains.

Sofa in living room can be used as another bed and due to it being a sectional, can be configured into another king bed. Foam topper available for the king set up.

Guest access
Guests have use of the entire apartment with keyless entry access from the patio area on the first floor. Additionally, there is a garage bay that can accommodate a smaller car. Backyard gated driveway can fit two larger vehicles.

Guests have patio with outdoor lounge furniture and use of the lawn area. Additionally, there is an alfresco dining space under a pergola flowing with orange trumpet vines. Barbeque use is also available with grilling tools stored in the kitchen.

Other things to note
Apartment location is just off one of the prettiest streets in Asbury Park and is 2 1/2 blocks from Main Street, which has shopping and restaurants. Two of our favorite restaurants are a short walk - R Bar on Main Street and Catbird Asbury Park on Sunset Ave Bridge Street.

BEACH -

We provide beach badges, chairs and beach towels so you don't need haul all your beach stuff with you. We can recommend which beach street may be best suited to your vibe. Be sure to download the ParkMobile app if you want to use your car to get down to the beach. Other options are the VEO scooters activated through VEO app that you'll see parked on streets curbs throughout Asbury Park - this is the easiest and most fun way to get around.

BITES -

R Bar has fantastic New Orleans style food and live music. This is a favorite gig venue of the Ocean Avenue Stompers!

Catbird is a brick oven pizza joint right on the water at Sunset Lake. Spectacular sunset views and fantastic pizza. It's BYOB and doesn't take reservations, but has a lovely outdoor waiting area where patrons can enjoy their BYOB and chat with other patrons.

We have lots of other recommendations for our favorite restaurants on the boardwalk and downtown from the best cocktails to an iconic burger joint to desserts that will tantalize your taste buds.

This is a spacious 4 bedroom, 3 bath apartment in a duplex with 4-5 car off-street parking, a rear fenced yard just 5 blocks from the beach.

Spacious bedrooms, a living room and an open rear family/kitchen with professional range, second oven, microwave, dishwasher etc. Recently renovated, this home is available limited times as it is our family's home we rent out when we are away--so it's equipped with the comforts of home. Ask about the attached 2 bed/2 bath apt. for larger groups!

The space
A 2400-ish sq ft 1st and 2nd floor apartment in a duplex with attached driveway for your private use and a personal yard for you only. There is a side entrance off the driveway we prefer you use that makes it easy to carry in things directly into the family room/kitchen.

4 spacious bedrooms (2 on the 1st floor, 2 on the second floor), 3 full baths (1 on the first floor, one en suite on the second and one hall bath), a living room, dining room, a family room open to the eat in kitchen. There are two sets of washer/dryers-one on the first floor rear and one upstairs to make sand clean up off the beach a little easier! This is a great set up for 2 families with kids or 4 couples. The total space sleeps 9 by City of Asbury permit.

Note sometimes dogs (no other pets) can stay but require extra cleaning fee and prior approval. Unapproved pets will be charged a $500 fine.

The beds have all cotton linens and there are fresh towels and washcloths provided as well as beach towels. A variety of cotton, memory foam and down pillows are throughout the house.

This is a quiet home on a quiet block—please be aware you have upstairs neighbors in the adjoining apartment and sound can transfer. Likewise, you will hear them as well as any apartment building despite fully insulating between the units. Please be mindful of yelling, loud music, especially during quiet hours.

o Feel free to log into your own Netflix, YouTube or other apps. Please remember before check-out to log out your accounts. If TV is broken or damages, there will be a charge to the guest of $200.00.
• Bedroom:
o Be kind to bed linens and towels. (No makeup/food stains/etc.) If any are permanently stained after washing, there will be a charge to the guest of $25 per sheet.
• Sofa Bed
o Linens/Pillows for sofa bed are in the black ottomans (included 4 pillows-2 sets of grey linens for the sofa bed and comforters). Please Note: For your comfort grey linens are placed on the sofa bed. All you have to do is grab your pillow and comforter from the black ottomans.

o Be kind to bed linens and towels. (No makeup/food stains/etc.) If any are permanently stained after washing, there will be a charge to the guest of $25 per sheet.

• Kitchen:
o DO NOT put any food down the sink drain. It will clog the sink drain which will require a plumber to come to the property and service the sink at a cost to the guest of $175.
o Please wash or put all used dishes in the dishwasher prior to check out. DO NOT OVERLOAD the dishwasher, as the dishes will not get properly cleaned. If the cleaning service wash dishes that were left behind by guests, a $15 dollar surcharge will be applied. If the dishwasher is overloaded the surcharge will still be applied.
o Please take out all the garbage as needed. DO NOT OVERLOAD the garbage cans. There are big trash cans in the backyard/side of the home. Black for trash and Blue for recyclables.
• Bathroom:
o If you forgot some bathing essentials, we have some for you (check the basket in the bathroom)
o 1 face cloth/1 bath towel left for each guest per 2 nights. Missing towels $10 per body towel/$5 per face towel.
o ONLY flush toilet paper down the toilet. Paper towels/any type of wipes/feminine products will clog the toilet which will require a plumber to come to the property and service the toilet at a cost to the guest of $175.
o DO NOT put any food down the bathroom sink drain. It will clog the sink drain which will require a plumber to come to the property and service the sink at a cost to the guest of $175.
