Also, prior to our visit we recieved a list of places to shop as well as their favorite restaurants and things to do in the area. We attended a multi day wedding event some 20 miles away from the apartment but this proved the perfect place to relax from the festivities in between. Very nice master bedroom, great bed, very nice kitchen with all the amenities, great view on the coast plus road from the living room. It was also nice to have two separate beds in the second bedroom although these beds were probably better suited for kids/teenagers not so much for adults. Shower needs some adjusting before you get to the right temperature. It is located right next to a train so expect an occasional one passing by which is sometimes a bit longer than you want it to be. Frequency is low though so no reason to complain. All in all we were very pleased with our 4 day stay and would certainly recommend it."

The kitchen has plenty of space to stay in and cook but it's also 2 miles away from town center with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Each Bedroom has one bed in it. 4 rooms have Queen Beds, and 2 rooms have Double Beds, and a crib setup is available if needed. Three of the Bedrooms overlook the Ocean.

10 Minutes to New Haven and only 5 minutes to Stony creek where you can cruise the Thimble Islands and have Breakfast or Lunch. Within 40 minutes of travel time, you can visit the Mohegan Sun Casino, and shorter travel time to the Clinton Premium Outlets which include Ralph Lauren, Coach, Saks Fifth Avenue, and many more! 10 minutes to Yale university which is often rented for most functions at the university by parents and alumni.

The building (originally a pub for local quarry workers) was built in the late 1800s, with the upper residence added in the 1930s. We've renovated the suite (2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths) with modern comforts while retaining much of the original charm. So many surprising details and ameniites. I normally stay in hotels so was thrilled to find robes and slippers! Great furnishings and decor in every room. I slept so well. More space than we needed for just the 2 of us but lovely for having another couple over for a bit after dinner. We didn't cook but the kitchen was incredibly well equipped. Great location- a quick walk down to the Stony Creek Market which has the friendliest people and great breakfast and luck. (We were lucky enough that Stony Creek Market also had pizza night during our visit.) We hope to visit again for a longer stay. Thank you!"

We are located half way between New York and Boston. Either using I-95 or the Shoreline train which is only 2 miles away with free parking. The outlet malls are only a 20 minute drive (Clinton & Westbrook) Take a 45 min ride to Mohegan Sun and Foxwood Casino, and for the kids enjoyment Mystic Seaport and Aquarium is only about 45 min. away

This comfy, family-friendly 4 bedroom house is year-round and 130 paces to the water - who can ask for more? Dine in with the fully equipped kitchen or take dinner at the shore or at one of the great nearby restaurants - amazing food and live music within 2 miles. Don't let the lack of curb appeal on the exterior scare you (we have big plans for it), but the interior of this original antique cottage was fully renovated in 2017 and ready for R&R with a spacious open floor plan and plenty of beds. Enjoy the great beach with enclosed swimming area, raft and diving board. First floor bedroom has a twin bed and faces the backyard and has easy access to the half bath. Upstairs is a large bedroom with two twin beds, a second bedroom with a twin bed and views of the water, and a large bedroom facing the front of the house with a queen bed and views of the water. In the main living area, there is a pull out sofa featuring a full sized bed. All linens provided including bath towels. Washer/Dryer. Beach chairs, kayak and life jackets. Gas grill. This charming early 1900’s carriage house is 250 yards from the beach, marinas, dock & a park! It has hardwood floors throughout and is about 1200 sq ft. It also has it's own backyard. The center of town which has lots of shops & restaurants is just a few minutes away... you could even walk it! The train station is 1 mile away & a Brewery is around the corner! New haven is only 10 minutes! You can't beat the location... or the house! We have a single kayak and a double kayak available for free!
