The High End Luxury Cabin is up to 8 guests only. What guests love about our "High End Luxury Cabin" is that it gives our smaller families an experience in staying at a beautiful and comfortable home setting. Our beautiful, 2-bedroom cabin is spacious and well appointed. Includes: pool table (bring your own pool sticks), a Foosball table, 4 electric recliners, 2 leather recliners, a large screen TV with surround sound and high speed WIFI. Enjoy the oak dining table for 6 guests, plus, additional tables for 6. There is a new stainless-steel kitchen Hi- Tech style. It is considered a compact kitchen with a deep single sink, refrigerator, electric range, microwave, coffee maker, cookware and so much more. Please note: The kitchen is for 1 or 2 chefs at a time. It is considered "compact". All dishes will be washed by hand, no dishwasher, no garbage disposal, no washer/dryer is available. Host suggests that you bring paper goods, such as plates, cups, so that you will have an easier clean-up. Otherwise, there are plenty of dishes. For your outdoor experience we just built a large deck for picnicking and propane barbecue. Free off-street parking at the lower entrance for 3 vehicles . Host can make additional parking available for ATV's and trailers. Please message the host if you need this additional parking.
This cabin backs up to the Lincoln National Forest. Simply walk around to the side of the house, and step into the cool pines. We have wildlife right up to the back yard. Likely, you will see elk, deer, wild horses, small critters and bats. Please keep the doors and windows closed . IMPORTANT: You are renting the lower floor of a 2-story home. The upper floor of the home is not included when renting the "High End Luxury Cabin". You may rent the entire home under the name of the "Woodlands Chalet", for up to 17 guests. For your privacy and security, the staircase is locked from the upper floor. We do have exterior cameras, motion activated. The entire home upper and lower levels have exterior cameras for the safety of our clients. (motion, video, recording) We do not rent the upper floor when we have guests in the lower cabin. Please remember, there are NO PETS allowed on the property or in the cabin or kept in your vehicle. No smoking or drugs in the cabin. Smoking cigars or cigarettes on the front lower deck is acceptable. Please use the small hanging sand bucket for disposal of your butts. Please also note: The forest is dry, and we are under high alert for fires, during the summer. No open fires are allowed. The propane grill is ok, if attended at all times. Please read our reviews. Inasmuch as we NEVER agreed for VRBO to bill our valued customers and their fees are ridiculously expensive, and we pay them $699.00 per year to list our cabin which we bought with our hard earned money and we also maintain said property, upon return vists, we can make other arrangements to avoid their unauthorized, usurious fees. This does not apply to the initial booking. The property is a cozy cabin on a hillside nestled in the pines with an unbelievable view! This cabin is very secluded, yet it is in the Village of Cloudcroft. There are lovely views of mountain splendor even inside the cabin through the large picture window. There is a spacious deck for relaxing, viewing and cooking and dining!

The living area is an open area which houses the kitchen, dining area and living area. The amenities are described herein, however suffice it to say the owners have everything that a lodger needs to have a memorable stay.

The Lodge golf course is a public course. The tee box for the first hole is within a 9 iron away! The course is a blast! It is very affordable and family friendly! Compare to the courses in Ruidoso. The back deck of the house provides an amazing view of the 7th fairway of the Course.

The cabin is next to the road with ample parking. However, the well lighted stairway takes you a good distance from the road where the cabin is in the middle of the woods with a perfect, unspoiled view. Yet, there are stores, restaurants, shops, a gas station, etc. just minutes away.

Great bird watching from the deck where you are level with the tree tops! The lot on the west is a frequent deer hangout and crossing. Elk have been seen crossing through on either side of the cabin as well. It is an amazing place for wildlife. There are houses close by but not next door!

You will be very excited at this cabin and be refreshed after your stay! Thanks for looking!

All the furniture was warm and inviting. Now, what possibly could be said about this location – WOW! We loved watching the golfers, deer, which was right beside us, and hummingbirds galore! The property was well-maintained, and both the outside and inside of the cabin were extremely clean! They really are not enough words to tell you what a spectacular time we had! We will be back!"

- "Beautiful property with amazing views both at night and during the day! Very comfortable and quiet!" - "We greatly enjoyed our stay at the cabin in the forest just outside Cloudcroft with the large deck. Elk, chipmunks, birds, and free range cows visited the property, and we saw elk and deer along the road into Cloudcroft. The other houses along the street are spread out, so there is a sense of privacy. We enjoyed strolling along the street. The highway is just down the street, close to be convenient but not obtrusive or loud. The house was comfortable with colorful southwest/cabin decor and helpful labeled lighting and very clean but could have used more lighting in the bathrooms plus living room for reading, microwavable dishes/containers, replacements for worn-out towels and window frames, and some niceties like luggage racks. The shower (with appreciated grab bar and seat) worked well - we didn't need to use the heat during our stay. Dish TV worked great. The laundry center (including basket) was very appreciated, as we didn't have to pack as much on our trip. We would have appreciated if the housekeeper took the trash/recycling into town instead of us. The property was just fifteen minutes from Cloudcroft with its walkable block of local shops and allowed for close day trips to White Sands National Park, Pistachioland, etc. Overall, we had a fun and relaxing time and recommend this cabin near Cloudcroft to all."

- "Such a lovely place, enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony and watched the deer and elk walk in for afternoon snack. In the morning all the birds came over to eat for most of the day." - "Lovely condo on the golf course. The first night was a bit hot due to the weather. Thankfully, the property has two fans available for every room so that was a life safer. I would absolutely rent from these hosts again - clear communication via email of check-in and check-out procedures sent a week prior to the stay. We never the weird in person experience of other VRBOs rentals. The condo was clean and the kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs. A beautiful, scenic drive takes you to Alamogordo and White Sands. Drive through the Mescalero Apache Indian Reservation to Ruidosa for more fun. Hiking trail info is in cabin. Go to Cloudcroft Chamber of Commerce for a list of all activities and festivals.

Parking is directly in front of cabin, the length of cabin only. We can accommodate 2 cars parallel parked. Please do not block the short driveway, as neighbor must be able to drive through. The long driveway to right, facing cabin, is private property and cannot be used.

Welcome to our Simply Enjoy cabin! Our cozy cabin is waiting for you to come in and enjoy its charm after a day out in the mountain air! The large deck will be a retreat to sit and visit about the days adventures! It's newly renovated and has many Google smart home features. Enjoy a king size bed for a great nights sleep and a fully functional kitchen for breakfast. There is also a queen, sofa bed with upgraded memory foam mattress. Walk, bike or drive to all Cloudcroft has to offer.

There is a level 2 EV charger on the property. Approximately 20 paces from the deck of this cabin. Please let us know if you would like to use the EV charger so that we can turn it on. We charge .25 cents a kWh. This is a ChargePoint Level 2 charger and will tell us the exact amount used during your stay.

During fire restrictions the grill and fire pit will be out of service. Smoking is never allowed in the cabin and is only allowed in your enclosed vehicle.

This is the mountains, weather is unpredictable, come prepared. We do not offer refunds for mountain weather. While we try our best to keep the driveway clear after a snow storm, four wheel or all wheel drive may be needed.

Nice 2 bed 2 bath cabin, beautiful views, sleeps 4, plus recliner, reclining sofa, toddler cot, & infant pack n play. Cabin is located in a quiet subdivision 6 miles from the village of Cloudcroft. There is a large covered deck for grilling, eating, relaxing, watching elk, deer, birds & enjoying the gorgeous views! No steep driveways. The entire living area on second floor with an open floor plan for easy socializing. The kitchen is fully furnished. The bar has seating for 4 and the dinette seats 4. We have a toddler booster seat & step stool available for use. The living room has a recliner, reclining sofa, TV, internet, games & beautiful views through the large windows!
Cabin has new flooring and is newly painted. It is furnished well enough that you just need to bring food, clothes & personal items. The deck has a latch gate for children’s safety. The cabin sits on over an acre with lots of room for kids/adults to play any time of year. In the winter, guests can enjoy snow sleds & tubing on the property (not provided) or you are only 3 miles from Ski Cloudcroft for skiing or tubing. Tubes and saucers are available to rent or buy in the village.
This is a NON SMOKING & NO PET home.
ATVs/UTVs can be driven on the roads of the subdivision or taken to the nearby Lincoln National Forest trails or enjoy some hiking there. Less than 10 minutes from Cloudcroft for dining, shopping, golfing, spa, hiking, playground, ice skating, or skiing. Cabin is located about 45 minutes from Ruidoso for a wide variety of things to enjoy.

Just 15 minutes from the Village of Cloudcroft and nestled amongst the pines, Fawn Passage is the perfect little getaway for one or two. This cabin is not appropriate for small children and you must have pre-approval before bringing a child. For our protection and yours, we have a camera on the front exterior of the cabin, aimed at the driveway.

Fawn Passage welcomes you home to peaceful beauty. Just bring your clothes, we'll provide the rest. You can't help but leave here feeling rested and de-stressed! While we depend on God to provide the wildlife and beautiful weather, we provide relaxation, comfortable furnishings TV with DVD player, lots of books, and WiFi. We do not provide cable or streaming service, and there is no television reception. We do, however, provide over 70 movies for your enjoyment. Feel free to bring a Roku or Firestick to stream movies, if you wish. The stereo is bluetooth enabled so you can connect from your phone and listen to Pandora, Spotify, etc. through the speakers.

We do not allow smoking anywhere on the property - inside or out, and we do not allow pets. Fire restrictions are usually high, but you may use the propane grill on the deck.

If you're ready to feel pampered, come upstairs where we have a queen size bed with an excellent mattress, 2" memory foam mattress topper, 400-500 thread count 100% cotton sheets, a down comforter and fluffy pillows. One short nap on this bed will make you want to go to bed early and sleep in late. All bed linens are provided and all are line-dried in fresh air and sunshine, and then pressed.

Fawn Passage features a well-stocked kitchen, that's ready to cook in or just to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. It includes a full size stove and refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, and coffee pot, and is fully stocked with new dishes, cookware and crock pots, as well as a gas grill on the deck. We provide you with filtered water, fresh ground Organic Ruta Maya coffee, fresh ground decaf, hot cocoa, hot apple cider, specialty teas, Krusteaz pancake mix, Log Cabin syrup, and a variety of instant oatmeal. We make it easy for you to prepare delicious meals with a well stocked spice cabinet. The kitchen is surrounded by windows, so it's light and airy and offers an excellent view of the wildlife. We provide so many extras at no extra charge, that it's like coming to your own home away from home. If you need it, we probably provide it.

In the bathroom (downstairs), we pamper you with with quality handmade soap and lotion from Thymeless Bath, as well as shampoo, conditioner, a blow dryer and flat iron.

You can relax and unwind inside or out. Our living area includes large comfortable furniture to curl up in and watch a movie, read, snuggle or just take a nap. The woodburner is ready to use, with all the wood provided for you at no extra charge. When it's cold outside, there's nothing more relaxing than curling up on the couch and watching the flames flicker. In the cold months, there are two heaters in the living room, in case you don't want to make a fire.

The covered deck provides the perfect spot to cook steaks on the grill or just sit and watch the hummingbirds. If you pay attention, you might see deer, turkey, rabbits, blue jays, porcupines, elk or a bear.

At Fawn Passage, the summer daytime highs can be anywhere from 50 to 80 degrees with the overnight lows around 45 to 60, so bring a sweater or light jacket. Winter daytime highs can range from 20 to 50, with overnight lows very cold, so you'll definitely need a warm jacket! In winter months (Dec-Jan), we recommend 4WD or chains. You can usually get up our driveway without them, but 4WD makes it much easier, if there is snow. I always have people ask if they "need" 4WD or can they get here without it. 90% of the time you can, but there's always that 10% chance. You'll have to decide if it's necessary.

Fawn Passage is not a hunter's lodge and while we do host the occasional hunter, you will be required to take extra care that most hunters are not willing to do. We have white towels and bedding, as well as light colored carpeting. No field dressing deer or elk allowed on the property.

Welcome to Bigfoot's Bunkhouse! This dog friendly rustic refuge is the perfect location for enjoying the charm of the Lincoln National Forest without missing the goings on of main street Cloudcroft. Whether you fancy a short drive to picturesque White Sands, NP , a chill day at Bluff Springs waterfall and trails, or if you simply prefer to let the good times roll (with Cloudcroft Brewery a 5 minute walk away) we'd love to have you and your loved ones stay in our cozy, clean and memorable place.

We do not accept third party reservations. The person making the reservation must be the primary occupant. You cannot assign or gift the reservation.

There is a $25.00 per dog/per stay fee, We do this to make sure our cleaning crew takes the extra time to make sure your dog has a safe clean and hygienic place to sniff, lick, lay , sit and stay!
And so future dogs have the same opportunity

Please agree to the guidelines for bringing a dog.

The dog must be 1 year old or older and house trained.

1. If left unattended we ask that you ensure your dog(s) won't be at risk of damaging any property inside and your dog(s) may not to be left out on the porch.

2. Please do not use the blankets provided as a covering over the furniture or bedding.

3. Pick up your dogs waste immediately after it's done and dispose of it in the dumpster outside on the corner.

4. Please do not allow your pets to get on any of the furniture because even the best dogs can have accidents in unfamiliar situations. Also, please don’t use any of the provided blankets to try to cover the furniture because it’s very hard to get pet hair out of the fabric.

This wonderful nearly 1100 sq. ft. and fenced yard cabin with two bedrooms and 1-1/2 baths, plus exterior downstairs game room, is located about 6 miles outside of town on a great wooded lot with fabulous views and in close proximity to skiing. The upstairs area has a sloping roof where you can sleep in a nice big king size bed. The 1/2 bath that adjoins the king bedroom upstairs is so convenient. The second bedroom is on the main floor with a queen bedroom and a full bath with a laundry facility. The living room has a wood stove for winter months and a very well-appointed kitchen with a Kuerig and coffee pot and is joined by a separate dining area. Included is a 32" Smart Roku TV that you can sign up for your streaming channels and you can choose from our stocked DVD's if you prefer to watch them. We also provide free Wi-Fi. The great outdoor deck wraps around the living room with a propane grill and lounging and outdoor furniture for those BBQ's or coffee on the deck. Because we are so convenient to Hwy. 82 you will experience some traffic noise during the day that dies down in the late afternoon and evening. You'll probably experience some wildlife too.

Dogs are welcome and will love the convenient fenced yard that you'll enjoy for your pets. We prefer 2 dogs max at the cabin, however, the number of dogs is subject to approval. There is a 25.00 per dog/per stay fee. VRBO can add 1 dog to your reservation and I can send you a fee request for any additional dogs. We don't allow dogs on our furniture or beds but we do supply some sheets in case you need to protect these areas. There are other dogs in the area so you may experience dog barks occasionally as well as your own.

Outside under the house is our game room with a small pool/ping pong table plus lots of other games and a tv with DVD's to relax and enjoy . Kids and adults really enjoy the game room.

Cloudcroft can be quite snowy during the winter months. Please be aware from November - March you may require an AWD or a 4x4 vehicle depending on our snowfall. There is room for 2 vehicles, a car or a truck.

Please keep your distance from Elk/deer/bear.
Racoons/bear can come if food or trash is left anywhere outside. They can be vicious. DO NOT FEED.
Do not leave your dog in the yard alone. We have Bears. Keep your vehicle locked and don't leave food inside your car.

One security camera is pointed at outdoor stair/parking/front gate, and 2nd is pointed down the outside stairs at the back door with noise decibel monitor, in common area for our cabin. No cameras or recording devices inside the cabin/deck/game rm. The cameras are visible.

This is a newly updated townhome with vaulted ceilings that boats 1365 Sq Feet and it feels even bigger. It has 2 large bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms (1 downstairs and 1 upstairs) plus a loft. Both bathrooms have a tub to take a bath in. It easily sleeps 6 with 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds. We know everyone is different so we have tried to include a variety of pillows and bed types. There are beds from Ghost bed, American Bedding, Layla, and Ashley furniture.

It's well appointed and has new appliances that include a full size fridge, microwave, oven, washer/dryer, toaster, Keurig machine, 2 smart TV's and much more. It has an electric fireplace with multiple settings. There is also a water softener and a reverse osmosis water filter so no need to buy or bring drinking water.

It's also in an AMAZING location that is within walking distance of nature trails and the golf course but its also less than a mile from the center of town. We are a family / pet friendly home. We have included a desk where you or your kids can do schoolwork or just surf the web. We also have pet bowls, a kennel and even a pet bed for your convenience. The back door goes right out to the large enclosed porch and the stairs provide easy access to let your dogs out. To the right of the back steps is the golf course and to the left is multiple trails to venture out on.

There is also a retro arcade for your kids or your inner kid :)

This cabin is located in a very beautiful neighborhood in the village of Cloudcroft. Once an old apple barn, the upper level was beautifully remodeled into a large efficiency with a spacious outdoor deck that includes a gas grill. The large living room has comfortable reclining furniture. and a wood stove. The kitchen has full-size appliances and a dishwasher and microwave. The full-size bed is at farther end with a small balcony. The bathroom has a glassed in corner shower. We have provided several amenities for your stay. You must have a government issued ID on file with airbnb.

Portable firepits are not allowed.

The space
This cabin has recently been remodeled. The interior is bright and charming. The livingroom has a comfortable couch and a electric fireplace for a romantic atmosphere regardless of the time of day or year. It is also a wonderful source of heat. There a designated work area with a desk and charging station for those who have to work. The wifi is great. The private deck has a propane grill for your use and is nestled in the trees. The location of this cabin is ideal. Easy access to restaurants, shopping, craft fairs (when scheduled), the park, walking, and hiking trails. During the winter months, there is no problem getting to and from this cabin. Perfect in every way.
There is a $25.00 per dog up to 40 lbs and $50.00 over 40 lbs per stay fee this can be paid by a cash app or cash on arrival.

Please agree to the guidelines for bringing a dog.

The dog must be 1 year old or older and house trained.


1. Your dog/dogs must be crated if left unattended inside the cabin.

They can not be confined in a bathroom or bedroom when you leave.

They can not be left out on the deck or in the yard unattended.

Your dog/dogs can not be on the deck unsupervised.
Please keep barking to a minimum.

2. Your dog/dogs are not allowed on any of the furniture to include the beds.

3. Pick up your dogs waste immediately after it's done and dispose of it in the dumpster. They are located along the streets. Large tan metal.

4. Please let Susan know the size, breed, and age of your dog.

5. If your dog is a big shedder, you may be charged for extra cleaning. This includes service animals.

We have great views & within walking distance to all Cloudcroft activities. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and motorcyclists.

This cozy guest apartment is the perfect place for couples . A comfortable queen size bed. This is an efficiency apt. Kitchenette is fully stocked with dishes, cooking pans, utensils, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, stove, and midsize-fridge. There is enough parking for 2 vehicles only. The private deck provides relaxation with a small yard for dogs. Cats are not allowed.
Our place is cozy, quiet, and comfortable.

The space
A few details to know BEFORE you book:

-For summer stays: Cloudcroft homes do not typically have a/c. The average temperature high during the summer is 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit, so a/c is not needed. This cabin is equipped with several fans for circulation. Occasionally the bedroom loft does get warm during the heat of the day, but after the sun goes down it cools to a comfortable temperature for a good night’s sleep.

-For winter stays: The cabin is on a pier foundation, so the floors can be cool against your feet in the winter. We recommend house slippers for winter stays. We have central heating, radiator heating , and a wood burning fireplace to keep the air temperature warm. This cabin is designed as a summer cabin, but makes a fun winter getaway for those who enjoy a slightly cooler environment.

-Verizon and T-Mobile users get good service, but AT&T does not get service.

-The cabin is .25 miles from a paved road, and we have a long driveway adjacent to the cabin. 4 wheel drive is not normally needed, but may be necessary in extreme winter conditions.

-Wildlife can often be seen wandering the neighborhood.
-Pets are welcome, but we ask that you do not leave them unattended in the cabin without being kenneled. An extra small kennel is available at the cabin.

-No extra fee or pet deposit is required for pets. (Just our way of making travel a little simpler.)

Unique mountain space is a great place to stay especially if you are a fan of history or a fan of trains! Our park is a picturesque area rich with various fruit trees. An inviting getaway with breathtaking mountain views. We have refurbished the historic cabin and have instated a RV park for those who would like to come enjoy the crisp air of the Rocky Mountains. You may hear elk bugling throughout the mountains or see a deer passing through the park.

The property itself has an RV park instated on it so there may also be other visitors in their own space on the property. We are located right off the highway. We own two dogs that live on property, a small french bulldog and a german shepherd, both are super friendly however they are usually kept out of the way unless guests let us know that they enjoy pets!

Once you’re settled be sure to flip on the smart tv and stream your favorite show while you relax and plan your next move!

We provide paddles and balls to use for pickleball! The courts are just down the hill in Zenith park

We have an outdoor seating area out front where you can enjoy the warm sun and cool breeze.

Bigfoot’s Bunkhouse sleeps four comfortably with a queen bed in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living area. Bed and bath linens are provided and are immaculately cleaned with high end natural cleaning products for each and every new guest. This is the mountains, weather is unpredictable, come prepared. We do not offer refunds due to mountain weather. While we try our best to keep the driveway clear after a snow storm, four wheel or all wheel drive may be needed for safe driving.

Guest access
As a reminder Grizzly’s getaway is part of a duplex and is the left side unit if facing the building. It has the number 16 by the door and a placard that says breeze.

There is a small picnic space next to the parking spots with a bench and a outdoor park picnic grill. This is a shared space for the duplex.

The firepit and picnic bench behind the cabin isn't on our property and is not available for use.

Other things to note
Dogs must be house trained.

Unfortunately at this time, no fires of any kind allowed in the fireplace. We have included inserts for a hearth-like experience.

We do not accept third party reservations. The person making the reservation must be the primary occupant. You cannot assign or gift the reservation.


There is a $25.00 per dog/per stay fee, We do this to make sure our cleaning crew takes the extra time to make sure your dog has a safe clean and hygienic place to sniff, lick, lay , sit and stay!
And so future dogs have the same opportunity

Please agree to the guidelines for bringing a dog.

The dog must be 1 year old or older and house trained.

1. If left unattended we ask that you ensure your dog(s) won't be at risk of damaging any property inside and your dog(s) may not to be left out on the porch.

2. Please do not use the blankets provided as a covering over the furniture or bedding.

3. Pick up your dogs waste immediately after it's done and dispose of it in the dumpster outside on the corner.

4. Please do not allow your pets to get on any of the furniture because even the best dogs can have accidents in unfamiliar situations. Also, please don’t use any of the provided blankets to try to cover the furniture because it’s very hard to get pet hair out of the fabric.

5. Please do not use the bathtub/ shower / sinks
to bathe your dog

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Unplug in this cozy cabin with a loft bedroom and 1 bath in a mountain setting with aspen and tall pines everywhere. Pull out couch in the living room. Relax on the large deck during the day. Or if it's cold outside turn up the gas wall heater and watch TV with cable. Close to skiing, and the quaint friendly village of Cloudcroft. Mountain roads will require 4 wheel drive and/or chains in the winter months.

The space
Good for Parents with two grade school children or three adults as there is only a loft and no bedrooms. Pullout couch in living-room. Two twin beds along with a queen bed in the loft.

Other things to note
The cabin is about 7miles east of the Village of Cloudcroft. If you have any physical limitations I wouldn't recommend this cabin.
The stairs to the loft are steep and there are also steps on the outside to the cabin. Just a helpful reminder that the loft with the bed is a traditional loft. High in center and gradual slanted walls. Do watch your head. I am 6'3" and find it helpful to put my hand up to the wall/ceiling to guide my head as I walk. Especially at night. It is not cramped, just a traditional loft with sloping roof either side of center.
