"The Compound" offers THREE separate rental spaces and offers direct engagement to Marfa aesthetics. "The Compound" will accommodate up to 13 guests with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths when renting all three structures. This unique compound is a great place to share with family and friends and may be rented as described below:

CASA GRANDE - A turn of the century remodeled adobe home, offers three spacious bedrooms each with a king bed; two Japanese influenced baths, one with outdoor shower; large outfitted chef's kitchen; and living/dining space. This CASA GRANDE can sleep up to six guests. The rental for four guests is $500/night with an additional charge of $100 per person per night. There is an additional $150 Cash cleaning/laundry fee that you pay directly to property manager at time of rental. If rental is longer than four days, cleaning/laundry fees will increase.

The following spaces may ONLY be rented as add-ons to the CASA GRANDE:
CASITA - A "Jewel" of a guest house with queen size bed, full bath, kitchen and spacious living space (room for a queen air mattress if needed). No A/C - fans are available; space heaters available when needed. The CASITA sleeps up to 3 and rents for $300/night. There is an additional $100 Cash cleaning/laundry fee that you pay directly to property manager at time of rental.

PAVILION - Al Fresco space for dining/entertaining and/or sleeping with full bath. The rental for dining/entertaining for the number of guest staying on property is $150/night or if used for sleeping only cost is $300/night. The PAVILION can sleep up to four guest on queen air mattresses with 100% cotton bedding. If the space is used for combination of dining/entertaining AND sleeping the rental is $400/night.
If wanting to rent the PAVILION for an event (larger than the number staying on the property) - than ask about cost of rental/cost of cleaning fee. Prior approval is required.

Upon your arrival, if your needs change and you would like to rent the additional spaces, please contact us and we will try and accommodate.

House rentals must be for at least 3 Nights for all National Holiday Weekends, plus Chinati Weekend (in October). If less than 3 nights during the Holiday Weekends, please inquire about the additional charge.

Torri is really helpful and provided a very comfortable queen sized inflatable bed for our daughter since we couldn't use the Casita (it did not have AC). Highlights from our trip--buy a guest pass to the St George hotel pool (great frozen drinks, or it's free after 5 pm). Margaret's for dinner, The Sentinel for coffee, Bordo for sandwiches, The Block Tour of Donald Judd's residence/ studio, McDonald Observatory Star Party If I can think of one thing to suggest, it would be to add an Anker power strip cube to each bedroom to help with the limited electrical outlet situation in the sleeping areas. Located on the southwest side of town in the quiet neighborhood that was once part of the Fort D A Russell military base down the street from the Chinati Foundation. The home was originally built in the 1930’s as part of the base for an officer with a family.

Desert Sky blends the best that Marfa's landscape and downtown attractions have to offer. An open-plan layout maximizes unobstructed views of the desert. The front wall of the space is a garage door that has windows built in to allow light and the view to filter in even when closed, and which can be rolled up to allow full access to the desert view and sounds. You can lay in bed and watch the sun come up with the door rolled all the way up while letting the cool morning air and birdsong in, or stargaze with the door down and the A/C blowing. The patio chairs in front of the hut offer some of the best, most comfortable (and most convenient!) views of the Marfa lights you'll ever experience.

This stylish space has been thoughtfully designed to provide guests with all the key features that make for a comfortable stay: a queen bed with natural fiber bedding, a work-station, Starlink WiFi, a seating area for lounging and looking out at the view, a full kitchen with oven, 4 burner stove, fridge & freezer w/ ice maker, along with pots/pans and other kitchen necessities, and dining table facing out the garage door for great views while eating. The full bathroom, which features a tub, is fully enclosed and not part of the open area. An inflatable mattress is available upon request for additional guests - third and fourth guests may stay at the hut for an additional $45 per person, per night.

The outdoor space features a hammock, a propane fire pit, a gas grill, and patio seating so you can take in the beautiful views.

Desert Sky is located in Antelope Hills, a beautiful area just outside Marfa (7-10 minute drive to the heart of downtown) that offers guests the absolute best our surrounding desert has to offer while also being as close to downtown and Marfa's main attractions as a lot of homes that are technically in the city limits.

Please note that there is about five minutes drive-time on a dirt road, once you turn onto Antelope Hills Road. You don't need 4 wheel, all-while drive, or even high clearance to traverse it, but we want out guests to know what to expect in case driving on an unpaved road isn't going to work for you and your vehicle.

Please note that the property sits close to the Marfa train tracks. The train can be heard from every residence in our little town, but we do want to make sure guests are aware of this property's proximity. Given that we sit on the outskirts of town, we are typically subject to less horn blowing which means that the train is not particularly disruptive at this location, though it is close.

There is no curtain covering the garage door in order to make the most of the natural light. Please be aware of this if you are sensitive to light.

Please be aware that refunds will not be issued for insect sightings. We work extremely hard to keep this property clean for our guests, and ask that you be considerate of the fact that Marfa is in the high desert. At certain times of the year insects (including spiders, water bugs, flies, and scorpions) are more active, and may may appear within the house on rare occasions. This is not something we can 100% guard against, and it has nothing to do with lack of cleanliness! If you have a serious phobia of insects and arachnids, please do not book this location. That being said, this space DOES NOT have an insect problem, and this disclaimer is only meant to protect us in in the very rare case of sightings.

Only the guests listed in the reservation request are permitted at the house. Inviting un-declared guests to the property will result in immediate forfeiture of your reservation. You will be asked to leave and will not receive a refund.

Smoking is permitted outside only.

Pets are welcome only if we approve them in your initial inquiry. A non-refundable fee of $45 per pet is required. Desert sky accommodates a maximum of 2 pets. Pet related damages will be separately billed for should they occur. A fee of $400 will charged should an undeclared pet be brought on premises.

Check in is anytime after 4pm/ Check out is at 11am.

Earlier check-ins are not possible unless you submit a specific request to arrive earlier, which is accepted prior to your arrival. Check out times are firmly enforced. It is important for us to be able to make the house ready for the next guests, so they can find it in the same condition you did!

Penalty for check-outs after 11am but before noon is half the cost of one night's stay. Penalty for a check-out anytime after noon is the full cost of one night's stay.

Modern desert design within a 100 year adobe casita. The space delightfully holds heat in winter and cold in summer, due to the adobe brick, creating a temperate environment that acts as a private reprieve during a busy travel day. (There is also AC/heat)

The casita is nestled within a residential alley, which acts as some of our local streets. So note, you will be in an alley but in the comfort of a small home.

You are offered a private stay, and I am a message or call away should anything arise. I believe in travel being restorative and reflective- so you are provided you your own space to tap in! Notably, the casita is in the backyard of a main house, but is fenced off for privacy. Please do not knock on the door of the main house or enter that property. This casita is in the original town of marfa, one of the oldest neighborhoods. It is a 3 blocks off of the main street (Highland Ave) in Marfa, a stone's throw to the courthouse and across the street from the iconic Marfa water tower. Walk north 5 blocks for mountain gazing, west 1/4 a mile for some beautiful footpaths.

Marfa is very walkable! A mile long by two miles wide, and nearly a mile high, it's easy to bike or walk to most anywhere. Having a rental car is ideal getting into town and granting yourself access to our famed Star Parties at the MacDonald Observatory outside of Fort Davis, swimming at Balmorhea, hiking in Big Bend and visiting quaint, nearby Alpine, TX. Use ebike marfa for alternative wheels.

Please kindly note: this adobe is located in the high desert, in a remote region. We have dust, even dust storms. We have insects and arachnids including spiders, ants and scorpions - and more! I hope this far out landscape is part of why you have chosen this locale. That said, please note a 100 year old structure does not guarantee a complete seal. This does not mean the casita has not been fully, and thoughtfully, cleaned for you. Please do not consider booking the place if you are the type who is unable to handle dust that might have blown in, or an errant insect. *This is not to signify an insect problem, but rather as a gentle and kind warning of a rare situation.* Many thanks.

- Open or concealed carry is not permitted on the property

- NO flushing of anything other than toilet paper. You will be responsible for paying for any plumbing obstructions. This is old and fragile plumbing-- Absolutely no flushing of wipes (even if they say flushable), feminine products, paper towels, coffee grinds, trash, etc. NOTHING other than TP thanks :) A lined receptacle is provided by the toilet to dispose of anything.

- The bathroom sink is meant for only bathroom activities as well as washing the Chemex and light dishes/mugs (NO FOOD down the sink, only liquids).

- No parking oversized vehicles in the parking pad. If your vehicle does not fit (by obstructing the alley or having to go over the metal divider onto the patio, this means it does not fit). Additional, or oversized, vehicles are to be parked on Dean St or Russell St.

- Upon leaving, please dispose of trash in the dumpster in the alley directly outside of the casita, kindly do your dishes, and take any foodstuffs with you.

- Per the listing, the fee is built for up to 2 guests. Please do not sneak in other guests! We live on the property- let's avoid that awkward interaction. If there is room for a third as an exception, we charge $25 a night for a 3rd guest.

We could have hosted a small family reunion as there were plenty of private spaces indoors and a large outdoors (we choose not to use as the town is dry & dusty.) A nice surprise was a well lit “sunroom,” which served as a sitting space, we used it as breakfast nook, which included a single bed/couch. 2 nice clean good-sized bathrooms had nice tile work and counter spaces. One bathroom had double sinks AND a great plus was a heated toilet seat that I have never experienced, including a bidet. The host Erik was most reassuring about every question I had. He responded immediately, no matter what time of day on any question I had. He picked up his personal phone as well as responded Expedia/VRBO email promptly. OUTDOORS:
Although this is a private living space you can expect to share all outdoor spaces. The front of the building has dining for four, four lounge chairs, swings for two. The backyard is completely fenced with large gate. All outdoor spaces are shared and ideal for making new friends. Chat with a stranger... stranger. Have a hog-killing' good time with someone new!

There are doggy trash bags for those traveling with their furry friends. Please remember to give us a lick and a promise that you'll pick up after your best friend.

Super fast wifi speeds. Faster than a wild buckin' bronco... that's for sure!

AIR:
Brand new central HVAC system to keep cool during the dog days of summer and of course, better than rubbing two sticks together in the winter.

We do allow pets including your horse so long as you hitch um outside. We ask that mans best friend stay crated while you're out but don't leave um lonesome for too long. If they bark you might disturb your neigh-bors. Lick and a promise you'll pick up after your furry friends. Outdoor spaces are shared with other guests that may also have pets. Pet cleaning fee of $30 per stay is added to reservation automatically when you add pets to guest total. All pets require a pet cleaning fee no matter how clean you might think they are. Three pets max folks. Appreciate it y'all!

We're just on the edge of town walking distance to the "Water Stop", a great restaurant and bar near by. We are located one (1) mile from the Presidio County Court House (Center of town) where most shops, restaurants and night life is located.

Getting Around:
We are located on the edge of town and one mile from the center of town. Although very walkable, you might find a bike, car or horseback is easiest.

The lofted bedroom is separated from the rest of the space by industrial stairs yet connected through a thoughtful pass-through bookshelf. Update: New faster internet and the City of Marfa is now imposing a 7% tax. Come stay at our vintage 26 ft 60's "Tag-A-Long" trailer, located in the Sal Si Puedes neighborhood of Marfa (about half a mile to downtown). The layout is great! Pack lightly and keep it simple. Though small, this Judd-inspired, above-ground concrete bunker comes with all of the essentials. Located just a few blocks from the main thoroughfare in town, you'll be close to shops, restaurants, galleries, and more. The space features a king-size bed, full bath with shower, tv, mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster, and mini split for heating and cooling. Affordable and convenient with all the right amenities - Day Zero Casita is perfect for a minimalist stay in Marfa.

The space
At approximately 400 square feet, Day Zero Casita features a comfortable open living floor plan that's best suited for two people.

Tucked into the right-side of the concrete block is a king sized bed sitting atop a simple wooden platform built-in storage for your luggage and belongings. In the center of the studio, you'll find a modest table, two chairs as well as daybed cushions. The credenza on the opposite wall houses more essentials: mini fridge, coffee and coffee maker, and a hot water kettle.

On the opposite end of the space is the bathroom which features a sizable shower, sink, and toilet. Please note: the bathroom is enclosed with a curtain only.

We provide soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, hair dryer, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, and strong WIFI!

Goatheads. Ouch! These spiny invasive thorns are unavoidable on this property. We do our best to keep the area around the entrance clear - but it's advised to take your shoes off before entering to avoid tracking them in and stepping on them later.

Day Zero is situated on a lot with another property that is no longer lived in because of its condition. The rest of the neighborhood is residential, eclectic and what you would expect to find in Marfa!

Bike or walk to Highland Street for shopping, eating, and all the best Marfa sight-seeing!

Our space is a one bedroom adobe guesthouse with a kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom and a living area. The Ice Plant Casita is right across the street from the historic Marfa Ice Plant, the Travis E Self memorial park, and within walking distance to our favorite local shops and restaurants.

This trailer is tranquil and simplistic. A great space to relax and clear your head.

The space
The space is very minimal with two beds (one queen, one twin) and plenty of natural light. There is a fridge where you can store food and bottled water. We are almost at 5,000ft elevation, so please drink plenty of water! There are guides to Marfa in the trailer waiting for you. Marfa is a small town and there is a train that runs in the night. I never notice it, but you might. Please bring earplugs if you think this will keep you up. Also, there are BUGS in West Texas. If you do not like bugs, I suggest staying in a hotel instead of staying at the Tumble In. Also, in the winter time Marfa can be VERY chilly. There are two heaters in the trailer, but this lodging is essentially still a glampsite, so please prepare accordingly in December thru February.

If you are wondering if there are any current events in Marfa, you can call the visitor center (or stop by-- center is located in historic USO building) and they will let you know what's happening when you will be here. Marfa is pretty happening year-round!

Other things to note
If you wish to cook in the kitchen or make coffee, please bring your own cooking things! There are a few pots and pans and no coffee maker. Luckily, there are two great coffee shops in town (Frama for lighter brew, Do Your Thing for the strong stuff). The wifi at the RV park is mediocre, as is the internet at my house and in all of Marfa. Please be aware that the internet may be slower than you are used to, as is the pace of Marfa in general ;-)

Queen size comfy mattress. Clean fresh sheets and pillows ready to welcome you! Two bed side tables, dresser and noise machine.

KITCHEN:
Ample counter space for cooking and washing dishes. Oven and four range burner, microwave, toaster and full size fridge. Kitchen is stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and cooking utensils. Kettle and coffee maker with fresh local coffee provided.

BATH:
Standing shower with Public Goods brand soaps provided. Toilet and sink vanity with mirror. Washer/Dryer available for use.

BEDROOM TWO:
Two twin size beds, side table and small closet for hanging clothes.

LIVING:
Futon sofa available for a possible 4th guest. The sofa seats up to 3 people. There is also a lounge chair and ottoman.

PETS:
We do allow pets with additional pet cleaning fee which can be automatically added when you add them to 'Guest Total' under 'Pets. We allow up to 3 small dogs or 2 large dogs.

OUTDOORS:
Backyard space is not private. There is a small fenced area perfect for letting dogs out or relax in one of the outdoor chairs.

BEWARE:
The tiny 'goathead' spikes on ground from invasive weed throughout Marfa. Will stab through flip flops and puppy paws. They are not poisonous just painful. Bring appropriate garb if this is a concern for your dogs feet. *THINGS TO NOTE*: When you arrive it is likely there will be two dogs in neighbors chain fenced yard who will aggressively greet you and bark. Please be cautious and don't try to pet them.

ENTERTAINMENT:
Although we feel you shouldn’t stay cooped up your entire stay sometimes it’s just necessary to lounge and do nothing! We won’t judge you! A tiny smart TV is provided for watching a movie and chilling. Record player with ample records to choose from for your enjoyment as well.

DINING:
Counter height bar with three stools for dining inside.

AC/HEAT:
There are two mini split systems in house. They provide hot or cold air. There is one in living room area and one in primary bedroom.

PARKING:
This space has free private parking for multiple cars in unpaved dirt driveway.

NEIGHBORHOOD:
Completely safe and crime free neighborhood. Nearby homes are older with a few barking dogs here and there.

WIFI:
Enjoy fast internet with our local network provider. Speeds up to 45+ mbps.

CHECKIN/OUT: Checkins start at 4PM and checkout is 10AM. For early checkins or late checkouts talk to your host to make a request. Early checkins or late checkouts start at $50 each and are never a guarantee. Please let us know if you will be arriving after 8PM so we can ensure a smooth checkin.

We've utilized every inch of space to bring you the most efficient, comfortable & stylish living quarters. Who says living tiny can't be fun?!!

The space
The space is a private oasis! Although this is a guesthouse we’ve built a six foot fence to separate the main house from the Casita so there are ZERO shared spaces and totally private entrance. This guest house has its own private yard, parking for one car only and fully private guesthouse. Enjoy total privacy!

CASITA:
The Tiny Tumbleweed is a 288 square foot dwelling with everything you need and a few extra thing’s you don’t. Enter into this small studio with bed, kitchenette, closet and bath. You will be blown away with the detail in design and thoughtfulness throughout. We pride ourselves on making this Casita feel romantic even in such a tiny space. We’ve extended the space to the outdoors so you never feel cramped. Perfect for a couple, two friends or the lone traveler looking for a stylish getaway.

Queen Zinus brand mattress and 600 thread count cotton sheets. Two nightstands and two sconces. Outlets on either side of bed for charging phones.

KITCHENETTE:
One Pantry Cabinet with drawer for silverware and cabinets for storage. Two pots and one pan for cooking on dual electric burners. Small 3.1 cubic foot fridge with freezer. Microwave and coffee pot. Coffee provided. All cooking utensils, cups and dishes provided. Just bring your own groceries. One small bar sink for washing dishes. No baking oven.

BATH:
Relax in the claw foot soaking tub or shower. Shower height is approx 5’8". Tub sits on a 2-3" platform. Vanity mirror over sink and hidden toilet. Fresh towels, hand soaps and washing soaps provided.

CLOSET:
Hang clothes in the tiny closet once a front door entrance. Fixed surface for desk use.

OUTDOORS:
Large and private outdoor space with six foot fence all around. Small fire pit for cooking s’mores and sharing some beers over a fire. Firewood is not provided so be sure to bring some with you or pick some up at Porters Grocery. There are outdoor table, benches and chairs so you can enjoy living outside. The space is tiny but we made sure to extend the experience outside so you can stretch and enjoy the sunsets. Be sure to say “hello” to ‘Hershey’ and ‘Butthead’, the horse and goat across the alley.

SMART TV:
Although we feel you shouldn’t stay cooped up your entire stay sometimes it’s just necessary to lounge and do nothing! We won’t judge you! A tiny smart TV is provided for watching a movie and chilling.

DINING:
The space is tiny however we wanted to provide every amenity we could. A table and two chairs are provided indoors. If weather permits enjoy dinner at the outdoor table.

AC/HEAT:
One AC window unit with remote to keep cool in the summer. Two space heaters provided for the winter season.

PARKING:
This space has private parking for one car right next to the Casita. The Casita access is through the back alley. One car parking only. Do not bring another car there is no parking for a second vehicle and there is absolutely NO PARKING IN ALLEY WAY. You must park in the designated parking spot. Larger vehicles will have a hard time backing in to parking space but there is room for one large vehicle. I drive a big truck and fit comfortably.
Please do not, under any circumstances, block alley access as it is vital for our neighbors to access their homes and dumpsters. Please use caution when parking your vehicle.

PETS:
Up to two pets under forty pounds will be accepted with a $40 pet cleaning fee for up to two pets per stay. Please declare pets before your stay. Failure to do so will result in a $250 fine. Service animals must provide an up-to-date certification.

If you are looking to unwind in Marfa, you've come to the right place. Located in the Brite Addition of northwestern Marfa, Casita on McMinn features exposed adobe walls, a full bath with tub, kitchenette with table, split type air conditioning and heat, custom made queen bed, and a private courtyard. Located in the norwestern corner of town, the casita offers guests a tranquil getaway while being only a five minute drive from the heart of downtown. The sunset views in this neighborhood are unmatched - locals drive out to experience what you'll have right outside your front door!

The Brite Addition of Marfa is adjacent to the historical Brite Ranch, which provides pasture views for miles to the north and west. The neighborhood is composed of Mid century and Modern homes on large lots, some on entire blocks. The casita faces west and is behind a larger contemporary adobe home. It has its own entrance and enjoys privacy from the main residence. All renovation improvements were professionally done with great attention to detail and comfort.

The walled courtyard is the perfect place to enjoy coffee in the morning and a beverage at sunset while you grill. Relax on the sofa with a book in the comfort of air conditioning or surf with WiFi while watching TV. The kitchenette provides most everything one needs for simple meal preparation. The full bath has nice contemporary fixtures and storage.

The casita was built in 1950 and is surrounded on the front and sides with enormous Juniper trees making the home feel like a shady oasis.

The minimalist décor offers guests a respite from the cluttered bustle of city life. The house is dotted with pottery, art, furniture and textiles from local Marfa artisans. Amenities like our pourover coffee maker and record player encourage relaxation and a slower pace of life. Our fully equipped kitchen offers the option to cook your own meals on site, or just use the oven to heat up your leftover Pizza Foundation slices.

The bedroom has one queen sized bed, outfitted with Parachute bedding and extra soft sateen sheets. The twin sized daybed in the living room doubles as a couch for lounging during the day and sleeping at night. There are extra sheets and pillows located in the bathroom closet. Because we encourage as unplugged of a time as possible, we do not have a television on site. But games and books can be found in the bedroom armoire for old fashioned fun and connection.

The bathroom includes a bathtub and shower, and a super fun pink floor. Cozy up in our signature El Cosmico robes, that will make you never want your vacation to end.

Sip coffee or a glass of wine on the front or back screened in porch, both feature a set of chairs for lounging or stargazing. Venture deeper into the fully fenced backyard to roast marshmallows and hot dogs over our fire pit. Tree stump seats circle the pit making it a fun spot to gather with friends and family.

For comfortable heating and cooling use the remotes to control the mini splits in bedroom and living room. For the few extra cold days we have in the winter in Marfa, there is a space heater to supplement the heat.

Guest access
You have free rein of the house, front yard, back yard and fire pit! Please be responsible and safe when using the fire pit. Please do not dump ashes outside of pit. Never leave a fire unattended. Embers can travel far. Fire pit burns are not a joke. Please use caution.

Other things to note
Marfa is one of our favorite places, and is always a respite from the rest of the world even in the best of times. We will be keeping our doors open so that you may enjoy some peace in this quiet oasis. In light of the pandemic, we’re taking additional precautions to endure the safety of our guests, and prevent the spread of germs.

Remember, this is an older house so it will have the quirks of one. There is no dishwasher, or washer or dryer on site.

We have updated our cleaning supplies to an even stronger solution which will be even more effective in killing viruses. We will be taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces (handles, doorknobs, etc). And will be making cleaning products available so that you may use them during your stay as well.

The bathroom sink is original, and is a traditional British sink with hot and cold water in separate taps. This will be odd at first, but is quite fun once you get the hang of it!

There are a fair amount of adorable cats that roam the area and want very much to make the Juniper Moon House their home. Please keep the front screen door closed so as to not welcome any uninvited guests.

For each reservation, there is a cleaning fee of $60. The room cost reflects a built-in hotel tax of 7% collected by the city. State taxes are now remitted directly by airbnb.

An AUTHENTIC HISTORIC UNDERGROUND BOMB SHELTER! We love it, and have renovated it to be a cozy space, BUT IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES WITH MOBILITY, SMALL/NARROW SPACES, OR BASEMENT ODORS: THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. This unit has very STEEP STAIRS and NOISY PLUMBING WHEN IN USE.

In just 120 square feet, we provide everything you need for the end of the world: fridge, microwave, hotplate, high-speed WiFi, Smart TV and a small bathroom with shower included. Maximum occupancy: 2

The space
The Lincoln's half-acre property features communal fire pits, lush desert gardens, a koi pond, a bocce court, and a cowboy soak tank. Right on the majestic courthouse square, you'll be just steps away from shops, restaurants, and galleries.

We've designed the entrance of the Bomb Shelter to allow maximum natural light, but if you are not inclined to small, closed-in spaces, we'd recommend checking out one of our above-ground rental units instead.

Plumbing is loud when in use (just a part of living underground), so complimentary earplugs are provided. Creating a functional living space below-ground has presented unique challenges, and we’ve done our best to make this into a fun and comfortable experience. We hope you enjoy!

The space
Our 1977 Airstream Argosy sits on five fenced acres just under 1 mile from downtown Marfa, offering a cozy retreat surrounded by peaceful desert views. Inside, you'll find a queen bed, kitchenette, lounge space, and shelves stocked with linens and towels. Outdoors, enjoy a hot shower, porch seating, bikes, and access to a well house restroom. The property is quiet, private, and event-friendly on a case-by-case basis—please contact us with event details.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the entire 5-acre outdoor space. The 5-acres is private and has no shared spaces or additional guests.

We do ask guests to not enter the sectioned off area inside the well house, this area houses our well which is essential to provide clean natural water to our guests. This area is routinely maintained and WILL be inspected after each stay.

Other things to note
Our slice of desert paradise is located outside of city limits, and is very quiet with the occasional low rumble of the passing train. The Airstream is located near the back portion of the 5-acres, the entire property has fully enclosed fencing, and we have sparse neighbors. On occasion you can expect to see people running, enjoying a walk, and/or walking their dogs down the road located near our front entrance.

Tucked beneath an A-frame loft, this space features a comfortable sitting area with sofa bed, two lounge chairs and coffee table perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Marfa. The sofa bed doubles as an additional sleeping arrangement for a third guest. A smart TV offers streaming entertainment, and the open layout allows for easy conversation between the living room and kitchen. Whether you're curled up with a book or watching a movie, this intimate spot is designed to help you unwind.

KITCHEN
Despite the petite size of the bungalow, the full-sized kitchen delivers everything you need to cook meals during your stay. Equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and basic cookware, it’s ideal for everything from morning coffee to a homemade dinner. The open layout keeps the kitchen connected to the living space and outdoors, perfect for casual mornings or a romantic dinner for two.

The detached bathroom (only a few steps away) gives Bungalow 8 a quirky charm while offering unexpected luxury. Step outside and into your private bathhouse to find a classic clawfoot soaking tub—perfect for long bubble baths or a refreshing shower. OUTDOORS
Bungalow 8 sits on a generous, fenced backyard that invites you to slow down and soak in the desert air. Start your day with coffee on the outdoor sofa under the morning sun, or enjoy an evening around the firepit under a blanket of West Texas stars. It’s a peaceful spot for stargazing, reading, or sipping a glass of wine after a day of art walks and desert drives. The train runs right behind the house a few times a day —a classic part of small-town life! You’ll definitely hear it, but we love watching it roll by. It’s all part of the charm.

LOFTED BEDROOM
Climb the sleek aluminum spiral staircase to reach the A-frame lofted bedroom, where you’ll find a plush queen-size bed nestled beneath the vaulted ceiling with sky lights for enjoying the stars from the comfy of your bed. The loft is airy and quiet, with plenty of space to spread out and relax. The cool air from the mini split keeps it comfortable year-round, making it a restful hideaway perfect for two.

PETS
We welcome well-behaved pets! Your furry friend will love the fenced yard and open outdoor space. Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring a pet. Goatheads are a thing here in Marfa so please be aware that your furry friends may experience some in the yard.

This property is equipped with ductless mini-split for heating and cooling the space efficiently. You'll be comfortable whatever the season. Additional fans are available in separate bathhouse and sleeping loft.

Casita Bendita is located in a lovely residential area just a few blocks from the Marfa courthouse and a short drive or 15-minute walk to shops, galleries, and restaurants. Tucked into a sizable lot, you'll feel "blessed" with all the quiet privacy you need during your stay in Marfa.

LIVING ROOM
Through the front door, you'll enter directly into the living room. Simple contemporary comfort invites you with a large couch, and SmartTV. If the weather is just right - open the front doors and enjoy the spacious front patio with outdoor seating.

KITCHEN
Casita Bendita is an open floor plan - the kitchen and living room invite you to entertain or enjoy the small but spacious area between the living room and kitchen. The kitchen comes fully equipped - you'll have all of the essentials that you need. Coffee maker, tea kettle, microwave, toaster oven, stovetop, refrigerator, and dishwasher. We provide dish soap, sponge, coffee, and tea options. The coffee is from Big Bend Roasters.

BATHROOM
The bathroom is to the left of the kitchen - discretely hidden yet a pleasant surprise when you walk in. The beautiful blue tile backsplash make this space perfectly inviting and serene. Equipped with a large single vanity, shower, toilet, toiletries, and blow dryer. Once again, this tiny home makes everything feel bigger than it should be!

BEDROOM 1
Bedroom one features a full-sized bed and desk area. All that you need and nothing you don't to enjoy your time in Marfa or get a little work done in private.

Bedroom two is almost a mirror image of bedroom one - featuring a full-sized bed and desk area.
