- "We surprised our sister who was in town visiting a childhood friend, and had a sisters reunion. This property surpassed our expectations! The minute we walked in the door and saw how spacious and clean the house was, I knew I had made the right decision to rent this house above all of the other listings in the area. The location was close enough to downtown, as well as where our sister had been staying, in a very quiet neighborhood, but close to local shopping. It has a huge master bedroom en suite, with a king bed and sleeper sofa, the 2nd bedroom also had a king bed and private door to the 2nd bathroom. We cooked a couple of meals during our stay, and the kitchen was big enough for all three of us to work in it with plenty of room, and the dishwasher made clean up easy. There is also a full size washer and dryer available onsite if needed. The house has a 2 car garage, which you access at the rear of the property by means of an alley, and a garage door opener is provided during your stay. It was nice knowing that our vehicle would be parked in a safe and secure place overnight, even though the neighborhood seemed very secure. The property also has a 2 car awning that butts up to the garage if you need more covered parking. The basement has a gameroom with air hockey and foosball tables as well as a basketball free throw arcade game, and what fun we had getting out a little competative sibling rivalry! Located on a 10 acre working farm right outside of city limits, Rustic Peace Hobby camper is a perfect place to relax and take it easy while still being close enough to enjoy the energy of Lubbock. Sit outside and enjoy the beautiful sunsets or sit around the fire pit and make some s’mores. If you are up early check out the sensational sunrises.

You will have access to a huge area outside of the camper. There will be a fire pit, chairs, picnic table, and grill and you will have plenty of space for outdoor yoga or anything else you choose. Feel free to walk over to the barn and pet the animals or take a look inside the Yurt greenhouse.

Other things to note
We are in a farming area and it is surrounded by all kinds of farms and acreage of nature and animals. You will see creatures big and small. We have deer, turkeys, coyotes, owls, rabbits, chickens, lizards, snakes, mice, ticks, bugs, ants, bee’s, wasp, spiders and some that have not been listed. We have reoccurring monthly pest control, however sometimes small creatures will come inside. If you see a bug or small creature of any type do not be alarmed, just dispose of said creature if possible and let us know. There will be no discounts or refunds given if the guest(s) incur a bug or creature inside.

If you have a heightened or increased sense of smell the farm would probably not be a good option for you.


We have a dog park and are working to add new comforts to it. We have lots of different animals that you will be allowed to interact with including Sebastian the small horse with an attitude, plenty of chickens including baby chicks , rabbits and baby rabbits. If you bring your dog please keep them on a leash at all times unless you are inside the dog park with the gate shut.

Heyo!!! Come chill for a bit in a place that makes you feel like you're not in Lubbock! That's seriously the feedback I've gotten from everyone who crosses the threshold (and it was kinda my goal not gonna lie). I've got it painted like nature colors on the inside and good natural lighting, and it's got all the Eastern hemisphere art I could find. We're in a chill cul-de-sac. This is a 'good-vibes-only' type of joint, hopefully you fit the mold. No guns.
