The cabin sleeps four in a one king bed/one bath, including full-size sleeper sofa in living area. The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. Two covered porches (back porch screened) provide the perfect spot for entertaining, bird watching, star gazing, reading and relaxing. Come sit back, relax, enjoy the views, and take a hike!

This Texas-style home is located on 5 acres on a hillside with beautiful Davis Mountain views. The location is outstanding. Just 8 min to Davis Mountain State Park, 20 min to McDonald Observatory & 15 min to downtown Ft. Davis. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, coffee pot, toaster, knives, kettle, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven and gas stove. There are three bedrooms in this home. One is a spacious master bedroom with a queen sized bed and a sitting room that has a gas fireplace. The other two bedrooms have double beds and are themed: "cowboy bedroom" and "Native American bedroom." All bedrooms contain premium bedding. Both bathrooms are full bathrooms and are quite nice. The guest bathroom has a tub/shower combination and the master bathroom contains a Greek soaking tub. If you need to combine work and play, no problem. There is an office and free Wi-Fi. Feel free to bring your own ether cable to plug right into the modem, if desired. The living room is furnished with red leather furniture, a coffee table, cow hide rug, gas fire place and a 55" Visio television. The dining table seats 6 people. A small bar area seats 2 additional people. The kitchen, dining and living areas are open concept. The views from every window in this house are beautiful. The porch is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy morning coffee while watching for deer or for sipping a glass of wine in the evening while star gazing. Deer often visit the property early in the morning and near dusk. Also, there is a utility room with a large size washer and dryer. You will know that you are in Texas while staying here because of all the unmistakably "Texas" furnishings and overall style. There is a carport suitable for 1 vehicle, and there is additional parking in the circle driveway. Guests staying 7 nights receive a 10% discount. Recently renovated 100 year old Adobe house with views of Sleeping Lion mountain. Located in the heart of historic Fort Davis on a quiet side street just three blocks from State Street, Agave House was completely renovated in 2021 to a very high standard. The interior is contemporary with a Sante Fe influence, featuring vaulted beamed ceilings in the living room as well as a wood burning fireplace. Original art in the form of paintings and wall hangings is displayed throughout the house. The well-equipped kitchen is all new with dramatic concrete counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The main bedroom has a king bed, sitting area, walk in closet and a private porch. The en-suite bathroom has a luxurious shower and a claw foot tub for your enjoyment. The second bedroom has a queen bed and shares the main en-suite bath. Bedroom 3 has two twins and its own bath with shower. There are multiple outdoor seating areas with views of the surrounding mountains and historic neighborhood. The house also includes a car port. Marfa and the McDonald Observatory are both about a 20 minute drive from Agave House.

Country home of early Pioneer settlers, updated home on 1/2 acre, easy walking to all the downtown community offers, and 1 block to Porter's Grocery Store. Lovely new Sunroom with view of the Fort Davis Mountain Range. Historic windmill and water tank on property, with plenty of room for parking. Also a nice outside B.B.Q area, lovely Pecan Trees and wide open views. Hope you enjoy sitting outside and gazing at those beautiful star lite sky at night. In July you'll enjoy the fire flys, cool nights, no humidity!

The mini-split air conditioners were excellent during the record setting heat, plus they have more of a soothing "white noise" sound than most HVAC systems. We're not accustomed to the total technology reservation and check in system of VRBO as this was only our second time to use it. Comfortable beds, good air-conditioning and good shower which are the three main requirements for hot days in August!"

All the kitchen items we needed were provided. When I couldn't figure out the wi-fi password I has a super quick response.
